Robert Bowling, creative strategist for Modern Warfare 3, Infinity Ward praises Battlefield 3 after GamesCom. . Don't you just love a little bit of rivalry between to amazing games in development, soon to be released. Even EA boss John Riccitiello said he hopes Call of Duty fails. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if it does! Battlefield 3 looks phenomenal. Here is the link from where I found this: ** http://beefjack.com/news/modern-warfare ... lefield-3/ ** Also here are links for the two trailers of the upcoming games, hope you enjoy! Look at the end of the video. BxDQ2Ow-VfI "Juggernaut - 14 Point Streak" 2 interesting things here; 1. Deployable Juggernaut. Self-Explanatory and very awesome. 2. It's not "14 Kill Streak", it's "14 Point Streak" which is strange, as it may mean you no longer need kills for killstreaks?!?!?! Just points? (Not points as in you get craploads of streaks from say domination) What would these points be? Id it just another way of saying "Kill Streak"? Probably. But there is that small chance that it means something else.

I played B:BC2 for 3 days and I'm in love, so personally I'm getting Battlefield 3, and then getting the next Treyarch game, when it (inevitably) comes out in Fall 2012. (I loves me some zombies )

Guys, there are some things you need to know about the highly anticipated game, MW3. First of all all the other ideas just came from Medal of Honor, Battlefield 2 and 3, and the rest of the Call of Duty games. It's just all other game ideas put under one big title. Heres proof: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CblUvlZDio8 Does this game look new? No way. It looks exactly like Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare. Just thought you might need to know some things ;)

http://i.imgur.com/gzd25.jpg ^ This is the box of MW3 hardened edition. It looks a bit like this: http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9 ... X0fMnGwx4E I have the black ops hardened edition and comparing both boxes they will have similar extras. Obviously it wil include the game, probably codes for MW2 and MW1 maps and in the other box (like the black ops hardened edition) a book explaining backstory and maybe a medal with Ghost on it or something like this. What do you think? Don't flame.

I was looking through the upcoming "Call of Duty XP" event and here's what I came across- "Call of Duty XP embraces players of all skill levels with numerous gaming competitions throughout the event. Hone your breach-and-clear skills in Spec Ops, shoot your way to the top in King of the Hill matches or outlast wave after wave of the shambling undead in Zombie Survival mode" ZOMBIE SURVIVAL MODE?? Let me know what you think.

This was taken from Kotaku. A reduction of the number of so-called hotspots on the multiplayer maps of Modern Warfare 3 will alter and accelerate the flow of action in this fall's installment of the Call of Duty franchise juggernaut, one of the game's creators told Kotaku this week in New York City. The makers of Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer mode are creating maps that include no more than five hotspots—places from which enemy players may be hiding or shooting—for a gamer to worry about at any one time. "It simplifies it so that the less skilled player has less to think about," Robert Bowling, creative strategist at Modern Warfare development studio Infi…

Links: LOGxxtgcG5s Starts at 2:55 eXQKt21BXnA 8yUMV17GYyg This video showcases a clip of the first wave of the new survival mode in MW3. Some thing to note: - Co-op (obviously) - Wave number on the right, times how long spent on a wave - Starts of with a pistol, just like zombies (don't know what pistol exactly) - Has 2 lethal and 2 tactical grenades - Symbol on the bottom, yellow with black stripes, seems to say Armor to the left of it, and 100 to the right of it - Players have names above them (duh) - Pistol has 90 ammo plus current clip - Mini map from multiplayer in top left corner - Two bars on left of screen, the one on the top is label…

I've read a lot about the upcoming survival mode in MW3, and I have to say it doesn't look appealing. This is still speculation, of course, as none of us have played it. But we do know the details and how it plays. So say you were to compare zombies (which almost all COD fans play right now) to Survival mode. You both get cash. The enemies become more difficult. You can upgrade guns. Neverending waves of enemies. Sounds the same, doesn't it? Except for one problem. You gave the enemies guns. Does anybody here think that fighting endless waves of increasingly difficult enemies that shoot back at you sounds fun? No, it sounds like combat trai…

I'm going with a resounding yes here and I can't believe they are repeating the mistakes of the past. My hype for spec ops yet again amounts to zero. Seems like they are focusing on the offline crowd whereas COD is all about online for me (cant stand the campains, ever).

I recently ran across this on a Q&A forum, in which Robert Bowling himself answered questions that weren't answered at E3. Amongst the many other questions answered, this was one of them. Kudos to you, Mr. Bowling!

there are four main points in survival mode. gameplay, map, enemies, and weapons gameplay like zombies there will be waves of enemies attacking you. through the rounds the will get more numerous and smarter. points translates to COD points which will allow you to buy things in the game. if you are downed you will stay down until you are revived, bleed out, or killed by an enemy. the main objective is to survive. map the maps will be similar to the places in MP. it will start small but will be opened up by the enemy through the rounds, giving access to new weapons an statigical areas. there are also valuable locations in the map like a tower for sniping, an …
