    No, not that kind of Divinium. Thanks to @Hells Warrrior getting the system up and running, CoDz now has a form of "currency" called Divinium ! This currency is all forum-based and uses post/topic content and contest winnings as a monetary base. Divinium on the forum can be used for the CoDz store - a new and upcoming mod we have coming up soon where users can buy REAL products such as Xbox/Playstation/Steam cards, Zombies merchandise, special user ranks that can't be obtained anywhere else, and more! How does Divinium work? Divinium is a basic points system; you get +1 Divinium for each post and topic that's created. When we hold special contests (such as the Ancient Trials challenges coming soon), you can win anywhere from +5 to +100 Divinium. Donors will manually be given +100 Divinium for having donated before 6/3/16 [please PM me so I can adjust your Divinium for you]. You can use our Store to purchase items, depending on the amount of Divinium you have. Please bear in mind that everyone starts out at zero regardless how many current posts/topics you have created.     Ah Jason "satisfying, complete ending rolling in" Blundell. Director of our favorite game mode. Also sucker for cliffhangers. The man raised to the Aether I mean, Agartha I mean the heavens because he made one his name was slapped on one top tier map (Mob of the Dead) but then subsequently ruined the entirety of CoD Zombies. Ever since Jimmy Zielinski and Reza Elghazi but he never gets any love because Transhit left Treyarch he has been the face of Zombies. And with the BO3 Z season having just ended on a rather ... interesting note. Let us remember all the things that our good man has brought to the table this past year. Thank You Jason for: Adding a """"new"""" cutscene named genesis.mkv and having it encrypted when everyone was all about the Super EE oh boy this can't be there actually is one can't wait to see the real ending!!!111 oh wait it's just the SoE intro cutscene oh hahaha you joker you ; ) Retconning the shit out of the Zombies storyline for no good reason, basically throwing away everything up to Mob to insert your own crazy overly convoluted fan service shit. Replacing a story based on historical events, myths, conspiracies and (alien) technology with a story based purely on maaaaaaaaagic and le good versus ancient evil ; ) Making the primary antagonists in a gamemode called ZOMBIES squid tentacle aliens straight out of a ZONE-SAMA hentai parody. Making a story that was about surviving in a apocalyptic wasteland while having to choose between two opposing sides and while having to deal with an infinite cycle of dying and being reborn into a story about a 80 year old ""God(?)"" that has 4 grown men getting into the bodies of children to keep them and a little girl trapped inside a basement because......... reasons? Putting 95% of the story behind a bunch of ciphers because that's what we've always wanted having to become Sherlock fucking Holmes in order to understand the plot. Adding more fan service for the sake of giving fan service than your average anime Being not ONLY responsible for one of gaming's WORST endings ever (Origins) But after admitting the ending totally sucked and after retconning that... Proceeding to make an even WORSE ending for Black Ops 3 ;/ Admitting that he wouldn't add any new gamemodes to Zombies because he has a super high standard and only things that are challenging, fun and creative are given his Seal of Approval And yet totally approving the Relevation's Final """""Boss"""""" battle. And making the grand reward for finishing all the easter eggs a ... different starting pistol. Not giving us any new perks side from Automated Electric Cherry Widows Wine because you're a sucker for classic perks? Promising us that Revelations would put brackets on the 8 years of Zombies (Which is highly ironic in and of itself because you practically erased 8 years worth of Zombies lore to shoehorn in le magic good versus ancient evil squid monsters battle) And yet still not having explained the following - The meaning of the blood vials - What our crew was "immune" for in ZnS - Why Richtofen's soul was already in the house but they still killed him in The Giant trailer - Who the Bald Man in the First Strike poster really is (spoilers: It's Richtofen) - The relationship between the Shadow Man and Richtofen And most importantly - Why Takeo sounds older with each released map yet he looks 20 years younger than his 1.0 counterpart Thanks for reading my shitpost. <3

    Somebody.... Had better get that EFFING super easter egg done, and TELL ME that there's a better ending then THAT. 8 Years of hidden clues, HARRPS, nazi technology, cthulu rituals, ciborg russian zombies, blowing up the earth.... How... How can it all end like this. No lesson learned, no proper foretelling of the future or what happened. No betrayal, no fucking insight to shit. Just this bullshit character we were introduced to vaguely practically a year ago, who has gone from a nobody, to the guy who controls perks, to fucking god I guess. NO backstory, NO practicality. Then wtf is up with SOPHIA? A character who was brought up MAYBE ONCE in bo1, now is the key to killing the shadow man and ending the apothicons? Meanwhile a key character like richtofen practically stays silent this whole run?! Then just Primis? Primis didn't fail! Primis just fucking appeared at the end! Oh yay, our reward for all that was.... we got to become templars? Nikolai wanted to return to his family, to which, all of them had. The children are no longer safe, they're non-existent. They disappeared with the apothicon sun! Holy FUCK I'm pissed. I could write a better ending for that in a MARGWA HEART BEAT. I swear... There better be a hidden wave gun somewhere on this map......

    So our lads at Treyarch just tweeted a Zombies timeline after the reveal with JCbackfire: In that tweet, they provided an interactive DESKTOP-ONLY web page containing vital information, Keeper language, and an interesting map of how our crew traveled. There are so many different elements to look into with it, that I will keep updating this thread with all new pieces regarding the lore from each map, important events, and what the Keeper language translates to.     Hello all! As Call of Duty Zombies continues to progress and be improved upon, our staff members have to increasingly take on new responsibilities and tasks. Some of those responsibilities represent a significant portion of holding together the back bone and essential structure of the site. As such, it can become too much work for just one or two Administrators and a handful of Moderators. We begin to spread ourselves too thin between our Staff duties as well as our paid employment, families, and leisure time. With the introduction of numerous new and innovative features to the site in the last few weeks, and as we look forward to a time period in which we may see a new iteration of Zombies in each yearly release of Call of Duty, we have to expand. So, it is with great pleasure, I'd like to introduce to you all our new Administrators, and former Moderators, @InfestLithium and @Boom. Please give them a warm and hearty congrats for their hard work and dedication to the site that has enabled them to receive this title. :D

    UPDATE: The Apothicon language is consistent in it's use of certain symbols with prefixes, suffixes, roots, etc. in the Apothicon words. I have broken them down and into what symbols go with what phrases. Treyarch has actually come up with their own language which can be deciphered from this given information. Now that we have the symbols matched with the parts of the words, we have to find the grammar of the Apothicon language. We may possibly be able to translate it into English once we know the rules the language follows and the what the different roots mean. I have added notes at the bottom of patterns I have noticed with the structure of the language, and will add more as I go on. The symbols usually go from top to bottom or left to right in the order which their corresponding word-part occurs. Also, 'na' and 'n' appear to be a roots/have some sort of meaning, but it also seems like they may be used in the language to prevent repeating vowels, such as in gwanash, it separates 'gwa' and 'ash'. I assume the parts of speech maybe also be related to which symbol is used when a word-part has several symbols used with it in different circumstances. Note that the words roots do have consistent relation to english counter parts, as 'orruja' is the word for 'gun' and is also in word for 'shoot', 'orrujatar'. I assume we will figure more of these out over time, but this is what I have for now. _____________________________________________________________ Hey guys, the new trailer for the Der Eisendrache map was released, and in it they revealed computer screens showing the language of the Apothicons and The Keepers. Thanks to @PINNAZ for pointing out that some of the reticles have Apothicon symbols in them, and the name of the reticle is the translated word. Since the head reticle and symbol match the ones on the list Treyarch showed, I am assuming they all are correct. Here is an updated version of the chart with the other symbols added: The Keepers' language is unfortunately too out of focus to be readible, but we at least have the distinction between the two established and know it will be revealed eventually.     That's right folks we got some big moves happening on our staff right now! Some are bittersweet, some are overdue, but overall they are all just badass. Newest additions to team are: @Doppelgänger and @Doctor Richtofen as Moderators Doppleganger is passionate about the forum, with a solid understanding and respect for the culture and the Code of Conduct of CoDZ. He is a go-getter, completionist and motivated with great attention to detail. Doctor Richtofen has shown dedication to the site in his day-to-day activity, heavily active in threads and almost never missing an opportunity to welcome new members. He has shown himself to be a mature, friendly and reasonable member of them community and has represented himself as a champion of CoDZ amiable and intelligent culture. New Legends: @Chopper as Hall of Fame Although we guilted him into stay for the longest time :P, Chop has taken a sabbatical to focus on family and work. Chopper was an excellent member of our staff and an extraordinary slayer. We will always remember him for the excellent high round strategy guides, in-depth analysis of gaming mechanics, contributions to all topics serious and lighthearted, and who could forget NML. Chopper is a five year veteran of the site and has always been available to help us with issues on the site and in our personal lives. He is a true friend and we hope to see him posting again in the future. New Veterans: @Strwrsbob and @Flammenwerfer as Veterans Nick started in 2010 and eventually took the reigns as the sole Admin for CoDZ. Although he was frequently busy with school he would always make time for the site when he was most needed. Perhaps we will here from him again soon! Flammenwerfer was last seen in November of 2015 while playing SOE. He raged so hard that he spontaneously combusted. We currently have a reward posted for anyone who has seen him. We are offering 4 divinium for his return dead or alive. All ranks are are not chosen lightly, so congrats all around! Of course if any of our Vets decide that they would like to return as staff, they will be welcome with open arms. La you fam!

    I know there are a lot going on recently that weren't getting the community to be excited but I will just put it here: It isn't over yet. No matter what the last map did you it IS integral to the story we love, so let's carry on together. We NEED to get this going. I know there aren't many I can help but I figured this would be the thing I can do. @Nieno69 mentioned about the difficulty transcribing the ciphers earlier so I got this the moment I can. These are all the cipher textures pulled directly from the pc textures, now, excluding the ciphers that don't exist as a texture, we have 14 ciphers in total, out of which we have solved 3. Some of these apparently haven't even been found yet, so I will also add in the names of the ciphers so we can also seek them out.     Hey guys, Tac here! After the zombies community recently watched one of the most entertaining video game showdowns ever (i.e. the Der Eisendrache Easter Egg), it’s time to understand exactly why it happened and what will happen in the rest of the game. What has become clear as we progress through the series is that we’re getting introduced to more and more mythologies. World at War and Black Ops introduced us to the Vril-ya mythos, Black Ops 2 to Norse (sort of, read on), and now in Black Ops 3, they’ve introduced the Cthulhu mythos and ramped up the other two. This thread spawned from a few things: my deep passion for the storyline, seeing “Ragnarok” in the game achievements, and more generally watching much of the community fumble with how the storyline is progressing. Because of these things, this post goes to show that in zombies, they are mixing each mythology and blending them together because their baseline structures are so similar. I’m going to preface this by saying I did my absolute best to not try and force things to fit. If the puzzle piece didn’t quite fit right, or sound correct, I likely chose to omit it. Some of you may be confused, but it’s right in front of us if you know where to look. Given that this thread is rather lengthy, it's likely that I forgot to include something or even omit something. If you find an error, let me know! The Vril-ya A long time ago, Monopoly Mac and I made one of the forefront Vril-ya threads at that time. In it, we discussed the extensive history of not only the Vril-ya, but the German obsession in them as well. As the years have passed since the thread’s publishing, some things have stayed the same and of course, some things have changed. The original thread can be found here, but the truly relevant information is below. In Vril-ya mythos, there was a solar system named Aldebaran that had a sun revolving around two inhabited planets, forming the empire “SUMERAN”. Living on these inhabitable planets were two cohabitable races of beings, one master and one subservient, both capable of great spiritual and physical feats. The master race was known as giant “light God people,” and the subservient race came about through the two distinct races intermixed further and further, their capabilities slowly diminished. A point came where they could no longer live on their home planet and had to move elsewhere, so the master race, capable of traveling time and space, evacuated them. The source of the Vril-ya’s powerful psychic and technological advancements was Vril. When employed, they could achieve great telekinetic abilities and through great acts of medicine, could live up to the age of one thousand years. However, if used the wrong way, those rods could be used for great destruction. Legend has it that they first arrived on a planet known as Mallona (also called Marduk), which existed in what is today’s asteroid belt, between Mars and Jupiter. They moved inwards in the Solar System, inhabiting Mars and then Earth, landing in the Mesopotamia region. From here, legend gets a bit more difficult to sift through, but the basic plot is able to be discerned. They split into two factions, where one faction migrated towards the Gobi Desert and eventually landed in Atlantis and the other went to Hyperborea (which is actually from the Greek mythos). The Atlanteans became engaged in a series of wars with another group, the Lemurians, and the danger of improperly using Vril came to light. The wars were described as thermonuclear and when the dust settled, little was left besides a vast and open desert. It is said that both the Atlantean and Lemurian homelands had been weakened by the wars, and in the aftermath, they each knew they’d need to move and change their ways. Accordingly, they created the subterranean world known as Agartha, with the capital city of Shambhala, in the Earth’s Core, Hollow Earth. As the center of intellectual progress and enlightenment, and is powered by the Black Sun, or Schwarze Sonne, a black star located within the Earth itself said to contain and radiate Vril energy. It is said that one day, the Vril-ya are going to leave Earth and colonize another planet. The Ragnarok Ragnarok, as described in old Norse Mythology, is the set of future events where gods such as Odin, Thor, and Freya will battle against the jotuns, or world-devourers, and end their nine worlds as they know them.[1] The gods are described as “the benefactors and protectors of civilization,” while the world-devourers “are forces of destruction, entropy, and decay,” as they are “constantly trying to drag it back to primordial chaos.” It’s said that Odin handpicked the best human warriors he could find to fight the jotuns, but they knew deep down the results would be terrifying.[2] Preceding these events, it is said that three years of winter come, with no summer in between, leading to wars worldwide. There will then be three roosters crowing: one crimson, another golden, another soot red (the last being from Hel, the realm of the dead).[3] Garmr, the blood-stained watchdog hound of Hel, howls, “and the wolf run free” as its chains are broken. (Some sources compare Garmr to either/both Cerberus or a “hellhound,” but the original text says watchdog). He is not the only one set free, however, as Loki escaped his bonds and set sail for Asgard, the Nordic land of the gods. Heimdall, an Asgard watchman, saw the advancement and blew the horn to inform the realm of dead soldiers that the battle had now begun. Then the immense World Tree (whose roots connect the nine worlds of Norse mythology) shuddered. The results were as predicted by Odin and company, and there were three major instances of heroes killing each other (Thor and sea serpent Jormungand, Freyr and world-devourer Surt, and Loki and Heimdall). Odin also falls, but he to Garmr, who is then killed by Odin’s son. The world was now nothing and as the battle came to an end, the war-torn land sank into the sea. There was a saving grace, however, as a male and female (Lif and Lifprasir) had hid out in a forest (some say the World Tree) when the winters hit, and “from them generations will spring.” Another character that comes into play is the devourer Nidhogg, who is a “dragon/serpent/snake” in Hel that lives and chews on corpses. It’s said that “ … Nidhogg sucked / the blood of the slain, / and the wolf-tore men” from his place in Hel. Because Hel is underneath the World Tree, and Nidhogg’s intentions are to cause chaos, he often gnaws at the roots of the world tree.[4][5] He actually flies out over the Ragnarok battlefield to gather corpses to feed his never-ending hunger.[6] Lovecraft Shoutout to @BlindBusDrivr for finding the real-life image There existed a group known as the Elder Things, who were the first extraterrestrial beings to come to Earth. Their technological capabilities were immense, capable of “personal locomotion” via “no external aid” (likely through their wings). They created a servitor race known as the Shoggoths, having great size and strength in order to labor for the Elder Things. Originally, they were hypnotically controlled by their creators and only capable of living in water. Some of the Shoggoths mutated, however, gaining independent minds and the ability to live on land. They subsequently rebelled against the Elder Things, but were quelled and watched much more closely afterwards.[1][2] There existed another group, the Outer Gods, who were ruled by the most powerful being in the mythos, Azathoth. While both the Elder Things and Outer Gods were similar in many ways (such as being incredibly powerful and working at a cosmic level), there were key differences between them. The first difference was that while the Elder Things were an intelligent race, the Outer Gods were “mindless blasphemies” with Azathoth as their “blind idiot god.” (Azathoth’s primary servant and messenger, Nyarlathotep, uses his great intelligence to often manipulate the mindless Azathoth.[3] More on Nyarlathotep later, though.) The second difference was their attitude towards humanity, as the Outer Gods wanted nothing more than for humanity to die off or become slaves. While the Elder Things historically looked down on humanity, they were occasionally sympathetic to them and the two’s interests often aligned.[4] The final difference is location, with Elder Things being located on Earth and the Outer Gods generally being in deep space. The Great Old Ones are the last “main” group of the mythos, once presiding over the Earth as rulers and gods[5] (all still being worshipped by devoted cults). They have since been imprisoned in various locations around Earth, though the reason is unknown. The two leading theories are that either the Elder Gods cast them away for a deed they disapproved of, or the Great Old Ones are as they are because of their own actions. The most famous of these Great Old Ones is Cthulhu (pictured above), whose name is noticeably similar to the Greek word “chthonic,” meaning “subterranean” (as suggested in a Lovecraft tale itself). He’s described as a combination of a dragon, man, and giant octopus (esp. on his head), and is particularly malevolent. He is imprisoned and hibernating in the underwater city of R’yleh, waiting to be unwittingly exposed and return to the world. What happens if he were to awake, however, is uncertain.[6] Also in the mythos are many smaller groups, such as the Deep Ones, who are an ocean-dwelling race with an appeal towards mating with humans. Another are the Mi-go, which are a scientifically and technologically superior extraterrestrial species made from matter not even naturally occurring on Earth. After the season has finished (which will be around the end of August), the Zombie Olympics will be underway in which 32 overall winners will compete to the death to prove their dominance in the Aether. This isn't any vague woo-ooo-oo tournament...we're talking about the big show. The Olympics will be live broadcasted on the CoDz Twitch page for the world to see, along with a special large grand prize for the champion of the realm. *Note: It is possible that a wildcard may advance into the Olympics if a clinched player does not appear in time for the final tournament. In that event, more information will be disclosed on how to advance. The match system in all tournaments is Swiss style - meaning there is no elimination if you lose a match. Any form of cheating, whether glitching/hacking/modding/exploiting of any game mechanic where unintended within the game, is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate casting into the Aether. Extra rules will be supplied at the announcement of each challenge, and must be adhered to whereas not stated in these set of general guidelines. Winnings Winners of specific challenges with grand prizes are permitted to one prize unless conditions state otherwise. Players who are overall winners of a challenge and/or tournament must fulfill the required information correctly to ensure they receive their winnings. Bartering with other players for prizes within the Arena is not allowed. Any prize won will be delivered to the given email/address presented to the staff by the player.     Hello everyone, shirtlesservice here with another compilation of all of the high round strategies of a BOIII map. For the Awakening map pack this is Der Eisendrache, so lets get to it.The way I see it there are two types of strategies on this map: Camping and Training. The Camping ones seem to be pretty effective, so we'll start with those:First check out this fairly comprehensive video from BOYSTAA for most of the effective strategies we have so far in terms of camping, though below i list a few that are not featured in this video, so be sure to check those out too: Also, see his video on how to manage ammo and ammo upgrade types in the higher rounds, while camping: Now to other strategies I've seen/found/have been brought to my attention: I also believe that the end of the mule kick hallway would be a decent camping spot as well (if you keep the door from quick revive closed) but I haven't tried it yet and I can't find any videos of it, so I haven't posted on it, but be sure to try it and let me know how it works out :D I have to point out that one could camp at the rocket pad, but at this time staying there during a launch causes a TON of zombies (in the realm of a few hundred) to spawn in, so it is very very slow, and not nearly as effective as the other strategies listed here. EDIT: The spot was patched, but I'm not sure if the spawns are fixed or not. EDIT: It seems like the pros are claiming this to be the best spot. Go figure Those are all the camping strategies I've seen so far, now for the training spots: From @Rissole25: "... Rocket Launch area seem like the [places to train] but you also have smaller areas like the Main Lab, Smaller Courtyard with bridge, By Double Tap 2, and by Mule Kick that you can train as well" I don't actually know if these work as I haven't been able to find any good videos that cover these spots, but be sure to try them out and see how it goes. Personally, I think that camping is the most effective way to fly through the rounds on this map, but training is always a good time.     So I did an introduction many many moons ago but a lot of people probably don't know who I'am. I'm Craig, born and bred in Edinburgh, Scotland and now reside in a town called Cowdenbeath, an old mining town. We still have a one or two open cast mines (top the ground, rather than underground). I'm 39 years old and have 3 great kids, Brandon 12 (an avid zombie player), Lauren 9 and has a rare condition called SMA-LED with cortical dysplasia and Rebecca 9. My lovely wife Lisa has had to put up with me playing CoD or Medal of Honour games for over 10 years, although my "addiction" with zombies, really only started just before Black Ops 2. I was sick and tired of playing multiplayer and I dabbled with zombies now and again. I work as a technical drawer (CAD)/ detailing / designing in the window industry. Think grand designs and you'll get the picture of the types of windows and costs of those windows (they ain't cheap and neither are my services ). My passion is energy conservation, which basically means conserve the energy you use, reuse the energy you create before you think about renewables. I done correctly and a house is built/designed to PassivHaus standard, you can reduce energy usage by up to 93% drastically reducing heating bills. As I said early, I really got into Zombies with BOII and my favourites maps are MoTD and Origins, I know a lot people knock BOII and I can see the reasons why but it was a decent game and maps. I've been playing games since the very early 80's starting with the Atari, the Spectrum was my next port of call and I recall going thtough many a game, jostick and tape deck (due to the game failing to fecking load) - Daley Thomsons Decathlon cost me many a joystick. My time these days in pretty much gettings kids ready for school in the morning, off to work, home, cook dinner, get kids ready for bed and then maybe a couple of hours game time if I can be bothered. Although I do make an effort to get a game going with the team. I taught myself pretty much everything I know about running servers, system administration and computers/html/ myself. Although Danny is my goto man for these modern standards, I know my way about css a lot more now but Danny knows more than me. I've been running forums for over 16 years and ran a very successful forum dedicated to a good friend of mine DJ Tom Wilson, who died in 2003 from a heart attack. He was a very popular DJ in Scotland and was pretty much the granddad of Hardcore/Techno music and introduced it to the masses on Forth FM (radio station in central Scotland). The 90's had me going to many events and clubs such as the FUBAR, Nosebleed, Metro, ReZerection, Fantasia. My favourite band is Ultra-Sonic.Honestly, for my era and the genre of music I enjoy listening to, they are the dugs danglies and I know both Roger Hughes and Mallorca Lee who are the orginal founding members. Privilege to know them and many of the other DJ's in the Scottish scene.     Over the course of the Zombies storyline we have been constantly introduced to various different characters. From playable to background/story specific characters, one character we are in the dark with is Samantha’s mother. We know extremely little of her. Other than a quote and a small mention in a radio from Moon, we know next to nothing about her aside from the fact that she is dead. In the last month, I have done some digging and have reached a point where I believe it is safe to say that I have possibly found the origins of her mother. Or at the very least, a convincing amount of evidence to point at this. First off, let me give you some of the history of the Wittenau Sanatorium, the location wherein Verrückt takes place. I should warn you that it does get a little dark. Wittenau Sanatorium served as a main part in the Nazi’s ‘euthanasia’ system. Hundreds to even thousands of patients sent to the asylum were eventually tortured and killed in a gross and terrible belief of Racial Hygiene. This theory held that those in society who were otherwise believed were ‘inferior’ and ‘burdening’ were a stain on the human race. Not only that, but individuals who suffered from ‘hereditary disorders’ were also among those admitted to the asylum. Hereditary Disorders were illnesses (i.e. both diseases and disorders) passed down from ones parents or ancestors through genetics, the five main genetic disorders being; Depression, Schizophrenia, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder and Autism. Many inmates were thought to eventually share their illness to their children or through their child’s genetics to their children’s children. This allowed for around 360,000 individuals to be forcefully sterilised between the years of 1933 to 1945. Many of these sterilisations were undertaken in Wittenau. The forced sterilising of “patients” was not the only thing that occurred in the sanatorium. Many inmates were killed, this of course being another means of cutting out those that suffered from any defects. In the years that Wittenau remained active, thousands of patients were killed in various means. Around 4,900 were killed by oral tablets or through starvation. On top of that number, around 5,000 children born from those with “hereditary diseases” were killed. Many newborns were subjected to medical experimentation. Now, when I mention the patients and the reasons for which these patients were killed in open quotes it is because, in many, many cases, those that were admitted, sterilised, killed or experimented on were most likely wrongfully thrown in with those that were actually mentally insane due to false accusations. As you can see here, there were very ridiculous reasons that people were thrown into sanatoriums. You should know, however, that this wasn’t an actual list of admission reasons that were specifically for the Wittenau asylum. It is just to show you the varying ridiculous reasons people were admitted into sanatoriums. As a final piece of useful information, in Verrückt one can hear the many haunting screams of inmates who were admitted into the Wittenau Sanatorium. Most of these voices are clearly male. In the Crematorium however, we hear both the sobs of a woman and the screams of a baby. Even the dentist chair, when activated, will play the sound of a drill, followed by a man screaming. The sobbing of the woman and the crying baby are the only "unique" sounds of people in the entire map. Another interesting piece of information is a sign written in German found on the map. Translated it reads: “Warning! All unattended children will be immediately sold to the circus.” Now, above I expressed how there was the theory that, if a patient was experiencing an illness, more often than not, the patients genetics were clearly inferior and therefore the patient would have to be sterilised. In this case however, Samantha’s mother was clearly not sterilised, proving that she was pregnant before she was admitted into Wittenau. This of course makes the identity of her father another mystery. There are two theories we can discern from this. 1. It is plausible that Doctor Maxis is actually Samantha's father, and his wife was admitted into the asylum during her pregnancy with Samantha. This was most likely the doing of Maxis himself after her disorder became serious, as he mentions in Moon, "When your mother died I could not bear the thought of losing you too, that’s why I kept you so close." Gathering intel from the Datenbediensteter, the Der Reise Data Servant, we can prove that Samantha's mother died at the asylum before the 20th of January, 1942. The sample found in the database being, "Greetings, I am Ludvig Maxis; today is 20 January, 1942. My Daughter has a dog, its name is Fluffy." This would possibly explain why Doctor Maxis, under the extreme emotional and mental stress he was undergoing during his time working in Group 935, coupled with working alongside the Nazi Party and with the Element 115, used the asylum as a near endless source of test subjects for his many experiments. Given his state of mind, Doctor Maxis most likely did this in a twisted sense of vengeance, putting his anger and bitterness into the place where his wife and the mother of his daughter had passed. 2. On the other hand, in the case that he is not her biological father, during his time experimenting with the Element 115 as the head of Group 935 we know Doctor Maxis would have been using the asylum to aid his experiments and to fetch subjects and specimens. Given this, it is safe to say that Doctor Maxis was most likely present in the asylum or at the very least knew of it when this birth occurred. Using the evidence above and the fact that he knew of the asylum's dark history, he took Samantha in, bringing her up as his own. Being the child of a mental patient, possibly being subject to being left alone and being put under stress, Samantha would have had a rather rough upbringing and especially if she shares the hereditary disability her mother had, even if it were a lesser case. Which is where the infamous, Fluffy comes into the picture. What if Maxis gave Samantha Fluffy to help her cope through Pet Therapy? Pet therapy involves interaction with a domestic animal. Most commonly, dogs and cats are used for this; however fish, guinea pigs and even horses could also be candidates. This means of therapy is typically used for those with mental disorders such as depression and anxiety, but is also used for the treatment of countless other disorders. So to summarise; - Samantha's mother was admitted into the Wittenau Sanatorium for unknown reasons before the war began. - The common practice of forced sterilisation in sanatoriums such as Wittenau proves that her mother was pregnant before she entered the asylum thus the identity of her father is unknown. Compiling the little evidence we have we can make two observations: 1. Maxis is the father and his wife was admitted into the asylum. Possibly by him. 2. Doctor Maxis was present in the asylum or at the very least had knowledge of the mother's pregnancy/Samantha's birth and took her in. - Doctor Maxis gave Samantha Fluffy as a means for her to be able to cope with her mother's absence, a possible mental disorder and his constant devotion to his work.     Dr. Monty Quotes and Radios I have seen many people make transcripts of what Dr. Monty says, but I have seen all of them have some minor errors. Some things are a lot easier to make out now that we have clear audio of the quotes and are different than people thought. Thus, I decided to make a full transcript of these amazing quotes. Round 14 Quote to all Characters: "I have been watching. I have seen each and every one of your misdeeds. I know who you are. Sounds ominous, doesn't it? GOOD! Because it fucking is!" Round 15 Quote to all Characters: "The entirety of the universe is fractured and broken. Something that you clowns hold more than at least some degree of responsibility for. Guess what? But, due to factors outside my control... you're all I've got. I know there's a lot going on, I know it's a lot to take IN. But the Universe is deeply unstable right now, and things are going to get a lot worse before they get better. Crazy as things are, I will try my absolute best to give you all some one-on-one time... some good ol' fashion TLC. Do this right, and everything will be okay... Pinky promise!" Monty Wisp #4 (Hatchery to the left of PaP): "Maxis... huh. He was the first. The vessel you constructed for him back in World War I somehow shielded him from the influence of element 115. He opened the portal between the worlds and well, that's where, when shit really went tits up. The world within the world got turned upside down and inside out, if you can imagine such a thing. So anyway, uh, it was around then that I was forced to... step in." Monty Wisp #5 (Department Store Rugs): "Samantha... oooh boy! You ever heard the phrase 'Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned'? Well, that fury's even worse with a little girl. Especially one as confused as that poor child is. She really didn't get much of a chance, did she? Right out of the gate she was thrown into this madness. Before she could ever figure out exactly WHO she was. Still, that's all ancient history now. She's safe... in the house." Monty Wisp #6 (Bridge): "Okay... here's a quick cheat sheet. You all fought in World War I. Woopie! You were badass heroes. That was true, that happened. Later, some other versions of you ended up as lab rats in some crazy World War II experiments. Experiments that left you a bit... kind of... not that smart. Your memories were mostly erased and you just kind of bumbled and stumbled around in time and space, oblivious to your past and future actions." Monty Wisp #7 (Department Store Mannequin): "You know how people say that every snowflake is unique? That every single one is an individual, a one of a kind irrefutable evidence of the miracles of mother nature? Well! It's not true. Snowflakes aren't all that unique. Actually, more to the point... where ARE you? Are you up to speed? Do you know exactly what you're doing? Or is the 115 delusion so bad you're still calling in field reports? Monty to Takeo: #1: "Takeo Masaki, wow, those wounds are fresh, aren't they? The bitter sting of betrayal. The absolute collapse of the singular belief that has been the driving force in your life for as long as you can remember. What now Takeo? What do you do when the metaphorical rug has been pulled out from under your feet?" #2: "I'll tell you what you do, Takeo. You do what you've always done. You fight. Only difference is, that you do it for yourself. Not for some misplaced sense of duty or honor." #3: "So, besides the changes to your own outlook, have you noticed a change in Richtofen? Dempsey? Well, not trying to stir things up but, does it seem to you like the two of them may be scheming between themselves?" Monty to Richtofen: #1: "I have to admit something to you, Edward. Something I've never, ever, ever had to admit to anyone before. It's really quite embarrassing... You ready? Well, here it is. I don't understand you, matey. I don't understand a single thing about what makes you tick! You are the closest thing to an absolute distillation of obtuse obstructionism and unparalleled maniacal chaos in human form as it is possible to imagine." #2: "Look... I know you've had a lot to deal with. I know how hard you've been trying, but I really can't be sure exactly why you're doing it! I mean, it's not as if you owe Maxis anything... is it?" #3: "I don't know... maybe some of the paranoia is starting to rub off on ME! But let me tell you this, my little German friend... I've got my eye on you!" Monty to Nikolai, Dempsey, and Takeo after finishing the Easter Egg: "Okay... Nikolai, Dempsey, Takeo... I'm only talking to you right now. Richtofen? He can't hear me, see? Ah, he's probably off doing his own thing right now anyway. No change there, I suppose. The good news is, you're nearly done! It'll soon be time to come to the house. But, this plan, this big plan... a lot of it's been riding on Richtofen. Before he caught up with you guys, he spent years traveling. Searching out just the right versions of you. The ones who held the key to closing off the other dimensions. I think you know by now exactly what that entails. Point is, he's kind of surplus to requirements these days. He's been in the house for AGES! But uh, DON'T tell him. Anyway, uh... it'll all make sense when you get here, you'll see. Honestly, i-it's going to be fine! Oh, shit...     As you can see Treyarch has confirmed the release month for the third DLC map, which will be the next chapter in the Aether story. I am really curious to see, if we get to play with Ultimis or Primis. Heres hoping, we get to play from an 8 character pool, cause it would be fun as hell to hear the Ultimis Dempsey interact with Primis Dempsey etc. Other than that there is no new info though.

    Hey guys! User /u/MaakuKiyoshi posted an album full of images from the projector on Der Eisendrache, and they're incredible! Open up the spoiler to see them (and consider everything after this point a spoiler), but let's get some discussion! You can see that the Griffin Station infrastructure is coming together, along with the final image showing the MPD and study of it. Even more interestingly, Group 935 tested on what appear to be Keepers (the long skull, teeth, and Black Sun logo on second image gives it away). What do you all think?

    You might remember the butterflies in Grief, when you knife or shoot an "enemy" player. He won't blood, he won't die: He will release a group of butterflies. Butterflies are seen in Kino der Toten too. Do they have any meaning? Well, yes. In fact, the butterflies predicted the Aether and Multiverse. Our physical space is observed to have three large spatial dimensions, with a higher dimension being the Aether. Please read @AetherialVoices's topic before this one. The third dimension, the one we live in, has three variables. An x, y, and a z axis. this allows what we call three-dimensional or "real" shapes to exist. The second dimension has two variables: The x and Y axis. We as three-dimensional beings are able to manipulate the second dimension. Think about drawing something on a flat paper (I know, paper has a Z-axis too, but you get the point). In that way, higher dimensions can manipulate our three-dimensional dimension. This theory explains powerups, wall weapons, the magic box, teleportation and matter transference. Imagine 3D as a paper (2D), and the Aether as 3D (I'm going to steal this one from you, Aetherial). You (now a 4D being) write two points on the paper (now 3D). How to get from point A to point B? Just double up the paper and sting a hole at point A. Now it directly leads to point B and voila: You've got a 4D rift, also known as a wormhole. Now I read this afterwards, I see how bad I am in explaining. Hope you understand it. Anyway, IF you understand it, it seems logical that the Aether is one dimension above us, the fourth dimension. Well I don’t think that’s the case. I think the Aether is the Eleventh Dimension. Our 3D's, the 4D (which might be time, and 6 unimaginable hyperspaces above that: The 10th dimension unifies the four fundamental forces of nature: electromagnetism, the strong and weak nuclear forces, and gravity. The 11th dimension kinda hold many 10 dimensions together. With this, the 11th dimension explains all of the particles and fundamental forces of nature by modelling them as vibrations of tiny supersymmetric strings. This theory is called the Superstring Theory. Are you interested in this? I excluded most of the stuff said on these pages because I only understood about 10% of everything said there, so there might be some interesting and usable information there. We're moving on. The M-theory is a theory in physics that unifies all consistent versions of the superstring theory (the Eleventh Dimension). The "M" stands for mystery, magic and mother…. Or Monty? You must know that string theorists had identified five versions of superstring theory. Although these theories appeared, at first, to be very different, the M-theory proves that they relate to each other pretty much. Apparently the String-theories could be unified by mathematical transformations called S-duality and T-duality. The M-theory is based in part on the existence of these dualities and in part on the relationship of the string theories to a field theory called eleven-dimensional supergravity. Now some real brain-killing information explains all this stuff, but trust me, you don’t want to see that. Just remember the fact that the M-theory unifies the different "versions" of the 11th dimension. Now finally we are getting at the butterflies. You might have hear of the butterfly effect: the concept that small causes can have large effects. The butterfly effect is an important part of the "Chaos Theory". Directly copied from wikipedia: Chaos theory is a branch of mathematics focused on the behavior of dynamical systems that are highly sensitive to initial conditions. 'Chaos' is an theory stating that within the apparent randomness of chaotic complex systems, there are underlying patterns, constant feedback loops, repetition, self-similarity, fractals, self-organization, and reliance on programming at the initial point known as sensitive dependence on initial conditions. The butterfly effect describes how a small change in one state of a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state. The exponential growth of deviations is a property of the instability of the system itself and can be expressed by the Lyapunov exponent (lambda). There exist three kinds of Lyapunov exponents: • L < 0 There is no chaos • L = 0 The system is neutral • L > 0 The system is chaotic In modern cosmology, the mathematical chaos theory is also used. According to some interpretations of the M-theory is "our" universe, a bubble (with infinite numbers of different universes-bubbles) floats in a multidimensional chaos. For this far this theory. A short summary: The Aether is the 11th dimension, being able to manipulate every dimension beneath. Every 3D universe (the Multiverse) floats in a multidimensional chaos. If you feel like I only understand the half of all what I just said, you're right. But we are getting closer to the understanding of the Aether.

    In these times, in which zombies in Shangri La wear Group 935 clothes, Mason can be seen in Kino der Toten and Samantha playing hide and seek in Shi No Numa. Agartha might not be the same as the Aether, Origins in not a 115-mine and dr. Monty becomes a more important character. This is a time of Primis, Ultimis and Victis. A time of people who 'tried so hard to do the right thing". A time of the release of the very first Zombies Timeline, and the release of Zombies Chronicles. This is a time in which our old view on things change. Because of this all, I thought it might be a nice idea to look back at a previous map.... DIE RISE! Because why not? The zombies timeline gave "Die Rise" only one piece of text, and the map has basicly no background. That's why! A lot of possibilities for theories! On the Great Leap Forward loading screen, one can see the name Province 22. You must know that the present China is divided into many provinces, and that province number 22 is Jilin, laying in the northeast of China, just above Korea. The biggest cities of Jilin are Changchun and Jilin city, both cities WITHOUT enormous skyscrapers, as we see in Black Ops II's first DLC. Relatively few cities in China actually have so many high skyscrapers, as cities like Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai have. Talking about Shanghai, have you ever seen this particular tower in Die Rise? It's the Jin Mao Tower, located in Shanghai. A China in the near future may change its province-numbers (district Shanghai might be province 22 now, and Jilin has another number): Names can be changed. Buildings, however, cannot. That's why it is almost certain that Die Rise takes place in Shanghai. But the Jin Mao tower does not only help us with solving Die Rise's location, but also time: The tower was built in 1998. Another proof that the map does not take place in the Cold War, unlike it's name might refer to it, is that there is a poster saying: "Since 1996". As a last note, in Die Rise one can see zombies wearing SDC suits. The SDC (Strategic Defense Coalition) is an Asian military alliance in the near future. This is prove that Die Rise takes not place just after 1998, but rather in the future (which could be a reason of the "Province 22 change"). As a side note, I started this theory before the release of the Timeline. Now we know for sure that Die Rise takes place on 22 October, 2035. A'ight, so now we've got the location (Shanghai) and time (near future): Let's start. The sleeping cages Has anyone ever noticed the countless cages in Die Rise? Some empty, some with a basket or plate in it, and others with some filthy clothes in or on top of it. Have you ever thought about the fact that these things exist in real life? Thousands of poor Chinese people who want to have a shelter in Hong Kong rent "bedspace apartments", a.k.a sleeping cages in high skyscrapers and flats. The conditions are terrible: Hot, sultry and filthy. Full of cockroaches, rats and bugs. The ideal location for diseases. Because there is no **** please report this topic, post ****, are those who live here forced to spend the little money they have on fastfood. In Die Rise, we also see such Sleeping Cages, in the building with the Dragon on the roof. The SDC As said before, the SDC (Strategic Defence Coalition) is an Asian Chinese-led strategic military alliance in the near future. It is one of the largest military alliances in the world during the so-called Second Cold War in Black Ops II. In Die Rise, we can notice two different main types of living dead: Normal zombies and zombies wearing a SDC suit, and therefore with more health. What did those SDC soldiers there, before the Apocalypse? And why so many? I mean, usually soldiers don't just walk around in skyscrapers in a big and safe city, Shanghai, far away from the SDC borders. This is why I assume that Die Rise takes partly place, or at least near a SDC base. The fact that there is a poster of Tian Zhao, the chairman or general of the SDC (depends on how BO2 ends), on top of the Dragon building, proves this theory even more. Now on a more interesting note: This is what that poster says, with many thanks to @DragonGJY: Okay so uhm…. Weapons of Mass Destruction? Suspected to be a zombie? I think our dear friend mr. Zhao has messed with Element 115! Could Die Rise be a SDC station doing experiments with Element 115? A few points. And note that ALL these points apply only on the building with the Dragon on the rooftop. • Most of the windows of that building are for some reason all closed off with barriers. Was what happened here secret for the outside world? Or were those things within the building not allowed to exit it…. • There is a huge neon board outside on the building with "International Zombie Centre on it". The word 'International' immediately stands out to me. Like, did the SDC work together with groups like Broken Arrow concerning experimenting with 115? Another, more likely possibility could be the fact that the SDC is, in some way, already international. China, Mongolia, Russia and many more countries are members of it. So this neon board litterly says that the building was a place where zombies existed. • Back to Tian Zhao's poster, it simply says that he might be a zombie. Like, really? Every normal Chinese who reads that would think that's a joke, wouldn't they? So maybe that poster only hangs in and on top of THAT particular building, since the people who live/work there, know the truth behind Element 115 and the undead effects of it. • The Sliquifier. I know the Victis crew built it themselves, but maybe they build it up from parts of a previously built Sliquifier, built by the SDC. After all, all the Sliquifier parts lay in the Dragon building… • In the depressive floor, as I always call it, the floor where you can turn on the power, one can see some mysterious looking wooden boxes. They look the same like the crates in Farm and Shi No Numa, so perhaps they have pieces 115 in it? So assuming if the Dragon building was a SDC station, doing experiments with 115 and with the undead, why are there so many sleeping cages and sewing machines? Perhaps the cages held test subjects, or possible even zombies. The sewing machines could be some distraction for the test subjects, to make the conditions a bit more humane, or possibly the SDC overseers wanted the test subjects who weren't doing something, make effective by putting them on work. Another reason could be that the sewing machines were already there when the SDC started to use the skyscraper, and that they never took the effort to take them away. The Jumping Jacks The Jumping Jacks, the clicking, jumping and teleporting creatures that spawn in Die Rise during special rounds, have NOT anything to do with the SDC. Here’s why: The Jack’s, as I like to call them, only spawn during special rounds, when you can Richthofen say “Fetch me their souls”, and when purple lights begin to flash (flashes from the Dark Aether), similar to Samantha when sending her Hellhounds. I have always wondered why Richthofen sends killing creatures to the Victis crew, who only try to help Richthofen gaining the ultimate power. The Timeline gives an explanation of that. So apparently the Victis crew did not help Richthofen at all, and Maxis’s end is canon. Richthofen blackmails Stuhlinger in the hope he will listen to him, and when that not works, Richthofen sends his Jack’s in the hope he could convince Victis with fear, or perhaps in order to stop Maxis gaining ultimate power. Anyway, the Jack’s are not from Province 22. They are teleported to there, similar to the Hellhounds in Shi no Numa, Kino der Toten, Groom Lake, Green Run (survival) and Der Eisendrache. Because Jumping Jacks look so familar with Nova-6 Crawlers, I think it was either Group 935 (Theatre Facility, Griffin Station) or Broken Arrow (in the Pentagon) who did experiments with Nova-6 Crawlers, ending in the same result as with Fluffy. These, now by Aether corrupted and mutated Nova-6 Crawlers, are send by Richthofen to Province 22. They have nothing to do with the location itself. So this was my story. Have you not seen enough of the Great Leap Forward? No worries, @RequixEclipse might release some stuff about Die Rise in the future as well.....

    The Mystery Box that I got this year via donating has finally came to use. Since we moved house and I now have my own room, I went out today and got some frames for my posters and zombie cards. I'm really happy with how they look and the frames were a good price too. Hopefully I will get the other posters to finish the collection and also some more cards soon.     There were already mentions to the Aether in the early maps of CoDZ. The wall writing in Der Riese saying "Return through Aether", the teleporters, the radios. They all referred in some way to an electromagnetic realm beyond our perception. Black Ops 1 and 2 proved that even more. Once you accessed the Aether, you would become omnipotent, immortal and were able to communicate via Element 115. Element 115 was a bridge between our dimension, and the one above us. Despite its powers, the Aether became associated with Hell. Think about Fluffy becoming a Hellhound while teleporting through Aether. Richthofen becoming evil and insane after touching the with the Aether connected MPD. The Aether's ability to have control over the demonic undead. Gersch talking about his suffering in "that awful place". The Aether is a bad place. While there was theorized alot about the mythical world within our world, Agartha, a real reference to it we were gained only twice. Agatha, in addition to the Aether, was believed to be some kind of Heaven. Many ancient civilizations talked about this place, known under many names, under our world. A place were there was no sickness, corruption and death. A true paradise. Once Maxis has won at the end of Buried, its official: For the first time, the name "Agartha" is directly mentioned. So what's this Agartha? What we do know, is that Agartha is a more powerful place than the Aether, as we see Maxis being able to banishing Richthofen's soal, who was in the Aether, to the bodies of the undead. Maxis even says that he now can control aetherial energy. So, this Agartha is more powerful than the demonic electromagnetic dimension known to us as Aether. Agartha > Aether This is also why Richthofen want us to activate the pylons and mend the Rift. His powers in the Aether are limited. In Agartha, he can do what he wants. This says Richthofen when he enters Agartha. Once again, it is said that from here, the lower Aether can be manipulated. In the video of Doctor Monty, what Treyarch released just before Revelation, there is something nasty said. Something that causes some people to wake up of nightmares about it in the middle of the night. Beware, the following quote might hit you hard. Soooooo, our speculation of the last 10 years is wrong. Aether and Agartha are the same. Right? No! During Black Ops 3, there is spoken of the normal or "light" Aether and the Dark Aether. The normal Aether is the dimension where the Keepers, or perhaps Vrill Ya reside. In this dimension, the Keepers are gained enormous power, allowing them to protect the lower dimensions against the inhabitants of the Dark Aether: The Apothicans, the most powerful and evil entities in all the existences that ever existed. That's the sad thing. Those Apothicans were originally also Keepers. The demonic Dark Aether has corrupted their minds. After the Great War was won by the normal Keepers, and lost by the corrupted ones, the victors entered the normal Aether and banished the corrupted Keepers to the Dark Aether. Here, they were prisoned for an infinite amount of time. So, what we know from this is that the Aether is more powerful than the Dark Aether Aether > Dark Aether The normal Aether is Agartha, and the Dark Aether is what we called Aether in the WaW/BO/BO2 era. A demonic, yet powerful dimension: The Dark Aether. A perfect, even more powerful realm: Agartha. The MPD connects to the Dark Aether, and this is why it makes Richthofen and Samantha insane. At the same time, it corrupts their minds, and the power that lays in that "demonic prison" is somehow appealing. It makes you power-hungry. Agartha, on the other side, is a nice place to be, and has even power over the Dark Aether. This is why the Keepers in Agartha were able to banish the corrupted ones to the Dark Aether and were able to hold them there and guard the other dimensions and universes from them. In the Giant and Der Eisendrache, the teleportation flashes of the MTD that were originally blue, were now more purple. Why? It isn't that it makes it look more fancy. The Aether through which you go, when using the MTD, is the Dark Aether. This is also why Fluffy became demonic after using it. Red portals. We see them as the Rift in Buried and the rift-portals during BO3. These are portals going through Agartha, or the light Aether. The Rift in Buried indirectly leads to Agartha. If you let Richthofen win in Buried, he will enter Agartha and enables the Apothicans to consume that universe. That's why Buried is the last map of that universe: Either Maxis destroys it, or the Apothicans consume it. (and parts from that universe later reappear in Revelations, in the Aether). The numerous tales and myths of Agartha in hollow earth, how could you explain that? I think that might be because of the Earth having 115 in her astenosphere. It could teleport you to Agartha. @AetherialVoices has explained to me that it could be because of 115 being such an instable element, and not belonging in our dimension. Therefore, it wants back to its stable form in the Aether, and that's why it can displace objects via or to the Aether. This could be an explanation of all those mythological tunnels and holes leading to Agartha. So a short summary: Aether is Agartha and the Dark Aether is the (pre-BO3) Aether. Some things still need to be explained, but if this theory is correct, we will sooner or later be able to do.

    With a heavy heart. It has been several months since I have been active, I took some time out to spend more time with the family, concentrate on work and to generally enjoy life away from the site and gaming in general. At 40 years old this year, my time for gaming has dwindled Year or Year. So I have decided with a heavy heart to hang up my gloves and hand over the reigns to someone else. When I joined the team, the site had a few technical and staffing problems and as a team we got rejuvenated and pushed the site forward and self funded. We aren't quite self funded but close to it. I'm going to stick around for a few weeks in the background with the staff to discuss and implement the required changes and ensure everything is handed over smoothly. As a team though, it is apparent that we are pretty much mostly of the same opinion and others may also hang up the gloves but that is for them to say who they are and if/when that will happen. It's probably for the best with a fresh injection of ideas from new and existing staff members on how to push the site forward and what changes if any are required. It's been a pleasure getting to know you, for those that don't know me or know if me - sorry about that. Wishing everyone the very best for the years ahead.

    This was not expected so suddenly, Craigo. I have much to talk with you but seeing that this was your decision coming for a while, I can only do one thing: to support you move albeit it being with a heavy heart. For everyone on CoDz and future generations, @Hells Warrrior is nothing less of a "god". This man came to use when we were in a time of need and did not hesitate to offer his services. Hell, he didn't ask for a single form of payment or reward...just pure kindness from his heart. A few veterans on this site know what we had faced back when the forum was running on outdated forum software with severe tech AND administration problems (don't listen to Craig, we had shit hit the fan real hard before he saved us). He offered to put us on a better forum software (IPS) and took the reigns as the head honcho for everything systems administrating and even financially. I've seen the man go through so hell while being staff here. You won't believe how much work goes through this site in the backend. Imagine, if you will, the science behind the human body and how insane all the systems/organs have to work together in order to do simple tasks like move and think and talk. That powerhouse was Craig for CoDz - the big brain and science behind it all. I can sit here and praise Craig all day long about how he saved CoDz and is a wonderful guy, but words enough won't do him justice. He's more than just a sys admin or a fellow slayer...he's my friend. Family. The kind of man that you'd welcome into your home with loving arms as you'd do anything to show how much you appreciate him in your life. He has been my inspiration to strive as a better staff member, and human being all together. Even on a personal level, he's shown me a kind of human empathy that I've never experienced before. I only hope that I can carry what I've learned from him on all levels into the rest of my life, as he has done for myself and everyone who has been lucky to be in his presence. To Craig, you will always be our family no matter which direction your life takes you. The Zombies gaming community may be dwindling away slowly but I hope that you really reconsider your position and decide to stay with us despite the delayed activity rate. You can still appreciate the game, not be into the gaming experience of it as much and yet remain with us. But perhaps that's just me wanting to keep one of my...best friends and role model here with us longer. Either way, I'll follow you into Agartha and beyond. You're beyond the scope of a Legend in my heart.

Right now I've only started writing about the Nacht soldiers. If you don't know, I am the author of the upcoming Storybook section of CoDz forum, found here: http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/story/prologue-nacht/ If you don't know what this project is, it's a personal project retelling the zombies storyline in a narrative fashion with bits of artistic liberty taken to fill in gaps that may confuse people just jumping in on the story. The story is great as an entertaining refresher for zombies vets and as a tool for learning the storyline for those just getting into zombies lore. While I am the author of the project, I consider it a community project, and the story is meant to be changed over time. Especially since zombies is so special for its revelations through unsolved ciphers and the upcoming comics which may change what we thought was canon in the past. I hope you guys enjoy it, and special thanks to InfestLithium and the rest of the CoDz team for allowing my project to be a part of the site.

The current ones available on the Internet are not exactly trustworthy, albeit containing massive amounts of information.     The biggest reason this ending (and all of BO3 Zombies) sucks so much is that this is the culmination of the fatal shift in tone Zombies has received thanks to Dr Monty Jason Blundell. They dropped the thing that made Zombies so intriguing in the first place - the combination of mysterious real life science programs and conspiracy stuff within a fictitious world. And they replaced it with the laziest, most cliche plot device of all time. This isn't any vague "woo-hoo-hoo" plot device. We are talking about What made Zombies so intruiging in the first place was all the crazy science conspiracy stuff in the background that was used as inspiration for the foundation of the mode. They took some real life stuff like the Nazi wunderweapon program and made their own fiction out of it. In WaW / BO1 everything major that happened was explained nicely. 115 made the Wunder Weapons and teleporters possible but also reanimated dead cells.The Zombies are controlled by a person in the aether. Samantha can control them because she's in the aether, she got there when [..]. Etc. Even with BO2's questionable storytelling, they still at least explained the major stuff like by powering up the towers you make either Maxis or Richtofen gain unlimited control of the Aether's energies which allows either of them to complete their real objective. Now they're relying on shoehorning in a random character and making him a fucking god for no reason and with no explanation whatsoever. This was brought to you by the same person who made the amazingly deep convoluted, poorly-written plothole ridden mess known as the BO3 "Simulator ex machina" campaign. So no surprise there. I guess I owe you Lenne.

    Two ciphers from Sam's room. The first is a scrap on the floor, pretty easy to get a good image. The 2nd is from a book. It's at such an angle that it is very awkward to get. So until we progress the egg far enough to get into her room (I have no doubt we will now with these cipher finds), those images will have to do. Floor scrap Book

    Alright, finally finished it. Thanks to @oxin8 for pointing out that "Captain" actually was supposed to be a letter. Treyarch made this one difficult either on purpose or they forgot colons and numbers by accident. Anyways, regardless here's the final plaintext @Tac I know at some point in the future I will be in a situation where I put the needs of the man ahead of my own life i will save the world.

After eons of exile in the dark Aether, the Apothicons evolved into twisted creatures that now bear little resemblance to their keeper brethren. The Apothicons ceaseless desire is to reenter creation to consume and corrupt all the universes. It is the Keepers that guard against these perpetual attempts to reenter creation, and guard against any beings that may have fallen under the influence of the Apothicons.

    If you are new to ciphers and want to try yourself- its just about knowing the ciphers - if you know what it is or what it could be its trial and error - repeat Some links to get started: this are some sites i use https://www.kryptographiespielplatz.de/index.php (great but explenations are in german - but many codes ciphers and modern encryption tools are easy to use without deeper explenation) http://www.dcode.fr/tools-list (almost all ciphers -and in english too ) https://cryptii.com/text/select (for hex octal and numbers etc) To sum up : the transcription of the ciphers is the longest part of the most ciphers because they are "only" one time encrypted and you can search for them in the decoders above The analyse tools helps you a lot if you have a transcription But clearly some ciphers need to be done by hand - i didnt found a good transpositioncipher decoder yet Edit: remember its about teamwork - if you get a clue - share it - its about the story and not about who has solved it We all wish to get new informations about the story

    I had a look at the Book Cipher in Sam's Room and I though the numbers looked like Hexadecimal, I also noticed that the numbers are all within 30-39 and 61-66. This translates to 1-9 and a-f when converted from Hex. The 0d 0a at the end confirmed my suspicion of Hexadecimal, as I believe that is the Hex notation for the end of a line. Below is the Cipher Text From each page of the book Left Page Right Page (While almost every line except the last is 33 pairs long, the 4th and 5th line on the first page appear to only by 32 long. I double checked this with 2 different source images and I keep counting 32 so I am not sure why this is or whether it's significant) And When translated from Hex you get the Following Left page Right Page I am currently trying to work out what to do with the translated text or if this is even the right direction in the first place so any input would be great
