DeathBringerZen Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 So... it has emerged that Yoteslaya was killed last night after his pickup truck collided with a train. He and his two passengers were killed instantly. He did so much for this scene, and was a joy to watch. My thoughts go out to his family on this day. RIP Bro. :(
MysteryMachineX Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 That's awful. : ( I liked him. I might have to go play Yote's Lair as a form of homage. : /

The Twirp Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 While this is sad news, it does make me feel a bit better to know the two passengers were not his young sons. The article says the victims ages ranged from 24 to 30.

DeathBringerZen Posted October 23, 2013 Author Posted October 23, 2013 I dont know about the rest of you.....But i am going for my all time high round tonight in his memory! He is one of the ones who made me love zombies and everything about it! I am sure im not alone when I say that either! I am going to do the very same thing. I just have this overwhelming need to play zombies now. It was Yote who got me into the custom zombie scene through his videos, and I even had the pleasure of playing with him once. The guy was a legend on this scene and was respected by everyone who knew him. I am going for a high round on Black Ops 1 tonight for sure.
Phat130y69ps4 Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I feel ya man. I never met the man but hearing his commentaries so much I feel like he taught me the game. I never really saw how this community really was a community until today. Seeing how this effects so many really does make me appreciate this site even more.
Administrators InfestLithium Posted October 23, 2013 Administrators Posted October 23, 2013 Rest in peace to the guy that made me love looking into Custom Maps like DBZ. I loved watching his videos while he played...he was and still is one of the most genuine and fantastic zombie slayers to watch and be a fan of.
MysteryMachineX Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Like others have said, he inspired me to go get the custom maps for Zombies on the PC. In fact, I even watched his tutorials to figure out how to do it. In fact, I even watched all of his videos (at the time) to evaluate which maps to download. I trusted Yote's opinion in that regard higher than anyone else's. *sigh* : (
MegaAfroMan Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Wow... he is one of the few YouTubers I actually have heard of too... small world.
yazter Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I did not know that person but RIP.. it's always a tragedy when we lose a loved one :(
Your Dearest Sailor Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I can't believe this is true.. I loved this dude my prayers are with his family.
Awful Lawton Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 ... I'm strating my 163+ kino/der riese attempt tonight, in honor of him. What a dude...
Naitrax Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 YOTE was, no, is my favourite YouTuber EVER. PERIOD. He was the greatest person. He could make me smile even on my worst days. I, like DBZ, had the privilege of playing with him once. It was amazing. R.I.P to one of the greatest members of the Zombie Community we'll ever see. My heart goes out to everyone who knew him personally (ie. his family and friends) and the family and friends of the other 2 people killed in the accident.
PINNAZ Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Wow, Rest in peace Yote. You are a legend. Slayer. Thoughts to the friends & family.
