  1. Anyone still playing Extinction on Xbox One? Anyone recently pick it up in the sales? If so hit me up. Looking for people to farm teeth and escapes on any map with. GT: DeathBringerZen
  2. The EE’s are very challenging, possibly the hardest of any game-mode to date but they definitely are solo friendly, especially Spaceland. That has the hardest boss fight I’ve ever tried lol. Spaceland is also in my top 3 maps of all time. It’s a brilliant map overall. I would definitely recommend trying the EE again on it but you will need to learn the boss fight strategy to a tee. The other maps are also great fun. I'm good mate, thanks. Definitely never expected to get back into zombies but this game has me hooked. It’s definitely the most fun I’ve had in a very long time.
  3. Finally unlocked Director's Cut by beating all of the EE's and then ran them all again collecting the talisman pieces to unlock the Mephestpholese boss fight, though we have not managed to beat him yet. This is easily the most fun I've had on zombies since the BO1/BO2 days. It is ridiculously good and it's a damn shame we never got to see a return in Modern Warfare. The rewards are incredible for completing all of the EE's and Treyarch really should take note. Anyway, offering help to anyone who needs assistance with doing the EE's and unlocking the Director's Cut. I'm on Xbox only so if you need help, hit me up. GT is same as here.
  4. Hey @Kitsune If you're still trying to find team-mates me and my buddy Jay just recently got into it as well and we're currently powering through all of the EE's to unluck Director's Cut before going through them all again to get the final boss fight. If you play on Xbox feel free to hit me up.
  5. My first taste of zombies was playing World at War. I got the game for xbox 360 2 days before release and had my mate round taking shots each at it. On the second day we manage to complete it and while discussing how good it was during the credits we saw the words 'Nazi Zombies' appear and then the screen fades in to the player in a bunker. We played it, died on like round 4 or something and laughed about how mental a bonus one off mission it was for completing the game. It was over a week later another friend was round who explained to me it was a permanent unlock. I was instantly hook. Bought all the DLC's except Shi No Numa. Played it at a friend's and hated it. Never really grew on me either. Even bought it on PC to play custom maps. I own every zombie map on every game to date. Kinda lost my passion for it now but the story was my true passion. That's over now though so we'll see what BO5 has to offer and hopefully it can bring me back.
  6. Thanks everyone who voted. It really is a great honour. I've been using this site since 2010 and eventually created an account a year or so later to actually participate (I was a bit forum shy before then) and loved every minute. I lost interest in the game mode around BO3. Just felt the game leaned on the Mob/Origins mechanics too much and all the maps felt the same. The variety that came with BO2 in particular was replaced with a generic style. The side quests were also mostly pointless story drivel and the mystery within maps non existent. The spoon fed story and bizzare turn it took just killed the buzz for me. Destiny came along and I jumped ship. Now Fortnite is my drug and I'm too deep to quit. I'm locked in for life lol. Just like I did with BO4 I'll definitely buy BO5, out of dumb loyalty of course but also out of hope that I might enjoy it.
  7. It's amazing to see Treyarch make a little EE in homage to this after all this time. Very cool indeed!
  8. That new trailer is amazing! Really has impressed me.

  9. I haven't enjoyed BO3 zombies a great deal compared to previous outings but that [Insert Russian Name] intro was pretty awesome, I'm not going to lie. Loved every minute of it.

Still dubious about the dragons and advanced tech in the map though. ?

Yeah, it's probably my favourite Zombies intro of all time. Love the little changes they made to Nikolai's face so that he can look more similar to Origins Nikolai.

    2. Hells Warrrior

      Hells Warrrior

Neither have I, I did like Der Eisendrache but so far it's been a let down if I'm honest.

  10. @DaveLo07 Well I invested countless hours in the original Dead Ops Arcade on BO1 over 2 profiles. Used to co-op it a lot with this Irish guy I was playing with back in the BO1 days. Eventually got bored with it though and that is probably why I can't get into DOA2. It's just not different enough from the original. They have added some really cool features in though but the core game is still just the same and although it was extremely addictive the first few days I played it the novelty wore off quick and I just couldn't find the passion that I had for the original. That being said, if you have never or sparingly played the original then this is awesome fun and I would highly recommend it to all. I might give it another go at some stage though. It's looking even more likely now that we will only be getting the 6 maps with BO3 and if Infinity Wards take on zombies flops then I will probably try giving DOA2 a decent go again. Then again, I will probably be immersed in custom zombies to be honest.
  11. I haven't really invested the time I should have into DOA2 to be honest. I mean, I absolutely loved the first one what with me being 36 years old and having been gaming since the very early 80's so I was brought up on games like that, (Commando, Smash TV, Ikari Warriors, Alien Breed etc) and I love the twin stick genre but I just couldn't get into DOA2 the same way as I did in BO1. Maybe it was the fact that aside from the 1st person power up the game hadn't really changed much. The maps are a little bigger and there is new weapons and stuff but I kinda feel like they could have tried something different retro wise like a side scrolling beat-em-up in the mold of Final Fight/Streets of Rage. There is a set of mod tools called OpenBOR (Beats of Rage) where it was made with the purpose of allowing people to make custom side scrolling beat-em-ups in the fashion of Streets of Rage. Someone decided to make a Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2 side scroller called Crisis Evil (& CE 2). It would have been nice to see them try a different approach similar to this one or even something different maybe altogether but after playing the first one frequently back in the BO1 days would have loved to have seen something a bit more innovative. The 1st person view mode wore off pretty thin for me. Maybe a full on 1st person view option would have made it more fun but either way there is nothing wrong with the game-mode, it's just not different enough from the first to keep me as entertained anymore unfortunately.
  12. I never played any Extinction map beyond Point of Contact and that was enough for me. It was fun but lacked longevity for me personally. I did invest in all 4 Exo-Zombie maps though and although a lot of fun to play the game-mode in general was extremely flawed in many areas. If you own Advanced Warfare and are a big fan of zombies I would recommend buying the first map at least and give it a bash but if you don't already own the game then I would not recommend investing in it just to get the game-mode.
  13. I always build mines in the Church as I find camping in their to be easiest so far but I was trying a few camp spots over in the armour room and if I stuck with that then building the shield about Double Tap would probably be best. Might even work out better to camp the launch pad about Double Tap as you have the pad as an escape route, fast spawn in rate and the shield at hand. Not tried it out yet myself though but it does seem like it could be a good strat.
  14. @Rissole25 Covered everything I would have asked to be honest. lol
