  1. Don't think I've heard about this BUT guys remember that Verruckt and Shi No Numa were made from Multiplayer maps and look how they turned out.
  2. In a way this is what I'm hoping for. Then everyone will be happy Zombies will be fine, Treyarch have developed this from a little add-on to a game into part of COD and I doubt they are going to throw it away now. I also don't think that Zombie "Bosses" will go away, look at Der Riese at WaW, the main strategy was to camp by the third teleporter close to the QR, they have found a way to counter this, although it isn't too popular (I'm not a fan either) it is effective and Treyarch are going to have to take a few risks and some of us won't like it. I really think they're going to make smaller maps to try and counter training in areas and people won't like this. But this is the name of the game, survival, you survive under whatever circumstances are presented to you and see how far you can go. All of these things we hate have made that map unique making us enjoy or despise that map more, Treyarch have never failed to put a challenge in front of us and they won't fail!! About the more is better thing I'm not sure what they mean by this, yes there is going to be more characters and zombies, possibly more maps but it depends on how Treyarch have approached this. Anyway, there is a zombie killer in all of us. I say no matter what happens we will still enjoy zombies for what it is BOII has been hyped amazingly and will hopefully be better than all previous games put together.
  3. Not necessarily!!! It's a good concept. I wouldn't mind it much aslong as it was for the campaign and not often maybe as a "Hello welcome to the Zombie Apocolypse  ". Also as long as they can control the animation of other zombies to not swarm over you , wouldn't it be rubbish if you knife this zombie get up and then their is a swarm all around you. Wouldn't it have been better just to stay down. Talking of animation I would like more animation on the environment, maybe things around you crumbling or something like that. BTW I have never played any other zombie game unless you count House of the Dead 4 in arcades so nothing will influence these choices from other games. But this would be cool along as it wasn't done often. :)
  4. Well I went to my friends house a few years ago and he said have you ever play COD, I said No and he introduced me to in to playing WaW Nacht Der Untoten. We played zombies and got to about round 3 which I was happy my friend wasn't so happy. He taught me how to play with jumping every time I saw a zombie (this was the first 15 game i played everything looked so different). Anyway i started to get into BO and watched strategy videos mainly from Sindicate Project and partly from Ali-A. These have helped me become a better player and am getting to higher rounds, although once i get to about 25 I start to become clumsy or I just don't have the time to.
  5. As i often play with randoms I'll base it on that: 1) Quick Revive, this is essential and i will alway try to get this first. Although this is dependent on whether or not the people I'm playing with die within the first 10 rounds. 2) Jug- We all know why we need this. 3) Speed Cola- Just so i can reload faster although this isn't needed. 4) Double Tap- Starting to use this more and more, it can really help get though faster rounds. 5) PhD Flopper- This helps a lot when you have the ray gun or an annoying rocket launcher. 6) Mule Kick- I prefer to go to the basic survival techniques with using two guns and having to hold out so i don't tend to use this often. Stamin-up and Deadshot I haven't used much and don't really see the need to, I have no need to run fast and I already aim at the head, when i completed the moon EE and got all of these Deadshot was the most annoying, i had to stop aiming up.
  6. We just gotta make it 15 more times! Is that joke old yet ? Don't care, using it anyway. And in case my name did not give it away, my favorite character is Richtofen ! Anyway. My favorite character has got to be Dempsey, he is just so calm and always has these remarks that always makes me laugh. He's the sort of character i like. Nikolia and Rictofen are a close second. They are equally awesome, their quotes are just amazing. Nikolia and his little nikolia and Rictofen and his high pitched speaking. 8-) Takeo though... he isn't great. He tends to bore me ALOT. HONOUR :| Mind you I have only done Moons easter egg once and haven't heard enough of Sam to judge her. Although she is very funny.
  7. I never brought MW2 because people said it wasn't that great. I brought MW3 because I loved Black Ops (BIG MISTAKE). The campaign has a decent story but the gameplay is in ruins. Beach, slow motion effect, kills guards, walk through a door, rinse and repeat. Spec Ops is just a waste of space on the HDD, it bores me very quickly and is too easy. Multiplayer does have some great new features like the point streaks system and some good mode like infected and Team Defender but everything else is the same over and over again. I have been thinking that the only reason Infinity Ward make COD games is for them to calm us down. Then Treyarch will release their game and it'll seem like a breath of fresh air and makes us think about how bad other games have been compared to this. If this is the case then i may not buy another game from IW while they're making COD games. I'm sorry but MW3 really disappointed me. (I only play it now just so i can beat that annoying prestige system they've had in all the COD games, so repetitive). I just have that feeling that Infinity Ward doesn't do anything special, they like to stay in the shallow end, Treyarch have gone on a limb with BOII and I really do hope it pays off. I wouldn't mind waiting for a while for the next COD game by Treyarch. IF this is the end of Infinity Ward then so be it. If they carry on then they need to start putting in some more creative ideas, possibly a LOT different from their last game, that would be a start. :x
  8. I like your way of thinking here. Sounds good. There are so many ways Treyarch can go with this, we actually have no idea what's going to happen next, but i like this idea, it could well happen & it would also make sense.
  9. If it was something where you had to do something to get them and get rewarded with a emblem or something then i would be ok with that but i don't want zombies to become multi-player, Zombies is its own game now and i think that it should stay that way and not become something like multiplayer. BTW If there was a Zombies Campaign/Story mode then i would like you to do something where you have to do quests to get to the next area, there are no rounds. For example: In Der Reise you have to turn the power on... link teleporters up... activate the fly trap... get the wunderwaffle... upgrade the wunderwaffle... go in a teleporter and fire the wunderwaffle while teleporting. The game will then save and you get teleported to Kino Der Toten (I think). But no leveling up would be needed as you said. I like the customize your character option although as i've said on other posts. I wouldn't like to have a make a character option.
  10. Maybe I'm going to sound like an idiot now but i'm going to throw it out there could that woman possibly be Elena Siegman? (Just a guess) She is just as a main part of zombies then everyone else and could be hinting to a new song or her as a playable character. :?: Although it would make more sense if it was Sam.
  11. I know i've said this before but i LOVE TREYARCH. This is a huge step forward and I'm hoping this works out. They really are pulling out all the stops. MW3 wasn't great (it was the same old same old again and again). I really do hope they pull this off, but looking at the evidence so far with this & Zombies I'm sure that they can. Hopefully they can make an amazing campaign like in BO to go with this.
  12. Personally I wouldn't like to have character creation for zombies, firstly people go overboard with it, there would also be no voice acting, if there was then there would be a lot of characters talking the same. I like the idea of choosing a character though, perhaps having a rank your characters #1-8?, the game will then calculate everyones favorite character, randomly chooses a player and they will get their first choice, this continues across all the other players, if a player already has their #1 character then it'll then choose #2 if not the #3 etc. I would love to have some Youtube Zombie commentators as characters in the game, Syndicate Project. MroElectro, YoteSlayer, the list could go on. Or even the Treyarch Zombie Creators, they can then add their own spice to their pudding. Cause zombies 8 player modes need to be about having fun so Treyarch really shouldn't take this modes characters seriously. HAVE SOME FUN!!
  13. Whether this is real or not it sends chills down my spine!!! SURVIVAL: SURVIVE AGAINST HORDES OF UNDEAD. Just think of the maps and 8 player zombies with 80 zombies available And with STORY: YOU WILL UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING. This is just amazing, going to be honest, I really couldn't care less whether this is real, it has just got me pumped for zombies. Just the thought of Treyarch giving the zombies team freedom to do what they want. he he And the MAKE YOUR CHOICE part at the bottom. Almost makes me think that our 'heroes' have got some tough decisions to make. But being serious I quite like this idea of having a Story and then a survival AS LONG AS IT IS NOTHING LIKE MW3 CAMPAIGN & SPEC OPS (hated it). Although i would also like some easter eggs in survive mode, just to shake things up. :D
  14. i believe you just found our first look at zombies Maybe it is Samantha and she grew older? Takeo did that aswell, right? If this was Samantha wouldn't this be Richtofen and Richtofen being Samantha? Anyway the trailer looks amazing!!!!!!! I love the thought of treyarch doing a game set in the near future (2025) and also going back to 80s with Mason. With the game set in 2025 it means that Treyarch have the scope to do something new, maybe with new weapons. Also with a "One size doesn't fit all" idea it should make for an amazing COD game. MW3 crushed my hopes for another good COD game, I though MW3 wasn't great, aslong as this plays good then I'll be one happy customer, probably going to get the expensive pre-order, this has pumped me up so much. Just wondering on the reveal trailer at the beginning it says "THE VAULT" where would this be and does it mean anything?
  15. I have always used default while playing COD games. It's how i learned to play the game. For multiplayer recently (mainly on MW3) I have been trying to change to Tactical but find i do worse. As you said I also don't find any reason to have to go to prone in zombies, unless in taunting them :D
  16. Before a few weeks ago I would have avoided shotguns all together, until i was on Verruckt (BO) and brought the Double Barreled Shotgun off the wall, actually found how good it was. This got me thinking why i rarely ever used them before, mainly it was because of the ammo and how shotguns like the Spaz-12 just irritates me. I just hate the Spaz-12. Now I'm starting to like the Stakeout and the Double Barreled BUT I must have speed cola, it takes FOREVER for them to reload, but too right, it sure does pack a powerful punch, even if it takes two hits it's still a decent weapon. I don't think that the points should be increased, you either kill them quickly and get less points or kill them slower and get more points. Although i would like the ammo to be increased.
  17. It really does depend on what come with them, if zombie maps come with them then I'll buy that one but I don't really want any big models, maybe a game sleeve & some in game content will do fine. So probably Hardened.
  18. Going back to that video of the voice I have a feeling it could have something to do with JFK. At the end of BO we saw him get assassinated with Mason there on the side. Perhaps BO 2 is where we investigate who the enemy was. Although i have definitely heard that voice before.
  19. I played Verruckt last night and heard this VERY clearly when we turned the power one. It almost sounds like it's distorted and sinister. It could just be a way to make the map scarier like the dentist chair with no other significance other than to startle you. It could also be to start the story, as Verruckt was the first Zombie DLC at the time on Nacht Der Untoten there was no hints of a story, maybe Treyarch wanted to start giving us subtle hints like (but not overly subtle). OR it could have relevance to the story, maybe Sam has just realized her powers or just found where they people are BUT I have no idea what characters were meant to be in Verruckt, some say it was Peter but others say it was Dempsey on his way through with the Marines (?).
  20. I know this won't help much but I'm pretty sure that I've seen Tacitus before somewhere. Has anyone tried checking the terminal on BO or something.
  21. MIND BLOWN!!!!! Anyway I believe it's right under our noses and we can't see it. Perhaps it's the Codename for the campaigns mission, CODENAME T.A.C.I.T.U.S, or maybe it stands for something. This is the reason i love Treyarch, they love to mess with us :D
  22. In some ways I really hate moon, the astronaut thing does nothing, he waddles around and does nothing, the map is too big to have him walking that slow (moon isn't even that big!). Also even though the easter egg was exciting, i did find that getting all perks + death machine (half way through) wasn't good enough and took away the challenge. BUT!!!!!! Getting Jugg and Speed Cola by going back to NML was a good idea if you have mics (which i don't). I see why they did it, so they could stop us independently getting Jugg and Speed whenever you got downed (which can happen on rare occasions). You have to work as a team to get it, you also get that part of hoping you get the perk you want when you get there. Although I tend to be ALOT more cautious without Jugg making the game slower. I also liked the excavators, yeah they are annoying but they were put there to force you to change strategy, no more training around the map on high rounds and they were put there for a good reason. BUT AGAIN!!! Even with all that there was still something missing that makes me want to play it less than any other map. Don't as me why but there was something missing when I first played Moon and i have no idea what it is. Maybe it was the gravity
  23. Remember back when black ops released Resurrection (I think it was that one) and at the end of the trailer they had about three seconds of this Zombie Creeper going crazy. I reckon something like this will happen, maybe having it hop between them (Zombies and Campaign) but mostly focusing on the Campaign. Little hints pointing at Zombies.
  24. I'd like something like this. It's a great idea. I think zombies needs to become more about survival rather than dodging the zombies, i love making trains but it does take away the survival aspect. I would really like a small challenging zombie map. I'm not saying i don't like huge maps like Shi No Numa or COTD but I would like to have a map that is really tight and making it hard to train zombies, maybe an underground map (France Catacombs?) that takes you one way. Maybe having the zombies spawn infront of you really giving the zombies the survival aspect it deserves. I'd also like zombies to start becoming more reliant on luck rather than skill. As i've said in previous posts: This would be another way to make you spend more on higher rounds, possibly raising the cost of this (to change it back) to something like 3000. I also liked Verruckt where it seperated the players meaning you had to work on your own (aswell as someone else), maybe incorporating this into a future zombie map. I would also like the box to have some more rubbish weapons, making it even harder to get the weapons you want.
  25. Liking your thinking there :D
