  1. But his nickname was Al.
  2. Pffft, yeah right. The Xbox users have always gotten the maps first. I think they renewed their contract, too.
  3. "Alternative Lyrics A penny for a spool of thread, A penny for a needle. That’s the way the money goes, Pop! goes the weasel." This makes me think of Al. You know, the guy that handles the money. Eh? Anybody?
  4. I fixed up his post with my quote. Just read the second comment.
  5. I know I'm being a dick about this, but those errors hurt me to the moon and back. I like the idea a little bit, I suppose. Sounds like it could be a lot of fun.
  6. Sooo... If we make Richtofen and Sam swap souls again, thus reuniting the correct bodies... And then we have Maxis kill Richtofen... ... Then what? I mean, Sam would probably try to kill the four anyways, or she would lose control of the zombies. Maxis, a grieving father without any options, would either have to save mankind and kill his own daughter, or be unable to do it due to the fact that she's his child, and end up betraying the world. Personally, I think that Maxis would be able to kill his own kid. He's a cold, calculating mind.
  7. Now that was a good trailer. I'm impressed. Guess you can build the plane. Wonder what happens after that. The rumor I've been hearing lately is that it leads to the bridge and you PaP there. Guess we'll find out later. I'm fairly interested in (what appears to be) a boat in the bottom right corner, in the start of the video. Finally, this reminds me of Mafia 2, for whatever reason.
  8. Hmmm... One map completed reward: Get your clan tag on all guns Second map: Emblem on all guns Third: Gold all regular guns (not Pap'd) Fourth: Diamond Pap'd guns Fifth? Not too sure. Could be some special Persistent Perk you can't lose.
  9. >Joins game with randoms Bros. Do you even lift? >takes all the parts >jumps off an edge >leaves game
  10. Yeah, they have a contract. I think they renewed it just before the game came out, so that Xbox continues to get all the DLC first. I remember when I used to practically live at my buddy's house. He had a PS3, and waiting for all the BO1 maps sucked.
  11. I'm hoping for the Guards v Prisoners. Speaking of our hellhound, I'm interested in seeing how that beast will tie into the map.
  12. I can't help but listen to relaxing music when I'm slaying. Just puts me at ease as I take the head clean off of a motherfucker. Eh, who am I kidding. It's mainly about how I'm feeling at the time, but mostly relaxing tracks.
  13. Lets see here... Juggernog = Bacon. No wonder they like it so much. Flavor was never really indicated with this one. PhD = Prunes. Or at least, that's what I've heard. Stamin-up = something to do with gasoline? Not too sure. Going off of memory for all of these. Revive = fish. Ick. Double Tap = Root beer? I mean, that's the name. it's chewy, to say the least :? Speed Cola = Spicy. Huh. That's all I can remember for now.
  14. He could be any one of us! He could be me. He could be you! He could even be... I dunno.
  15. This this this this this this this this this this this
  16. So um, am I the only guy that uses explosive weaponry without PhD, without problem? I can't be the only guy. I also ditch explosives, especially the ray gun, due to how little amusement I get from killing zombies with it. Ick, Mustangs. I understand liking a perk and all, but having it on Die Rise (to my understanding, seeing as I still haven't played it) would have been game-breaking. I'm not too sure why it isn't on Green Run, though. If you're going down on double swipes, you're getting hit too many times in a short period of time. Lava factors into this! Shangri was great and I was disappointed with Moon - too many things in one map kinda ruined it. Guess my gripe with it is the astronaut. He ruined everything.
  17. Alright, so, I was just browsing the forums, and some guys were discussing the easter egg. Somebody posted this image: http://gyazo.com/8970eb2314ff5187df7e46a1e61b3200.png I would have let it just be an image, but it went off the screen. Notice the very right edges of that. "Wall Street in Panic" "As stocks crash!" I think they're separate posts due to the coloring on the fonts, but I think that gives us a fairly good date. We're around the depression! Whenever that was, because my memory doesn't hold out too well and I'm too lazy to look it up. Oh, the guy above me posted the same picture. Darn.
  18. My memory is sketchy, so I don't know if this is right or not. Was there someone in the MDT (That's the machine's name, right? Puts the user in control.) before Sam got in? Maybe creatures in the Aether took direct control over the MDT until someone gets inside of it. Dunno, I'm probably wrong. Guess we'll find out in a week.
  19. Yeah, it's nice to see a place that isn't overridden with "You like x, shame on you, kill it with fire." Everyone around here so far has been very kind. It's nice to find an online community that actually acts it's age If you're a vet though, you probably already know that. I've only been lurking for a couple months and I haven't noticed anything even remotely angry or hateful.
  20. My problem with this perk is that we already have things to increase the power of melee: We have the Bowie Knife, Ballistic Knives, and Galva-Knuckles. I love to use the Ballistic Knives, and I once held onto them up to about round 35 on Kino (7 knives, one kill. Awww Yeaaah). Yes, melee becomes next to worthless later on. Yes, I'd love to have something that increases melee power further. No, I don't think we should have a perk for it, no matter how great it would be. However, your perk description is definitely well thought out, so I'll give you that.
  21. Perk machines have been a part of the game for ages. To take them out is just... No, man. It won't happen. I'm interested in finding out how to get this perk, though.
  22. I was hoping that the nav cards would open up some other part of a map when you used them - like gaining access to PhD on Die Rise, or using a nav card on Green Run to gain access to the (rumored) second route. Totally off topic, but I went to check the wiki for Die Rise and noticed that it's gone. I was going to look into the nav card a bit more (since a nav card can go into the reader on Die Rise, right? I don't know a whole ton about BO2 yet).
  23. I figured that they didn't have music at the end of Moon because: 1. It signified the end of zombies 2. It was the end of the story for the O4. Seeing as 1 is wrong, that only leaves my theory of 2. I really don't know what other deeper theory we could come up with that would explain the lack of music.
  24. I think that's what you call 'em, right? Randoms. Where you search for a game over matchmaking, having no idea who you'll get paired up with. Most pro slayers that I know of tend to stick with just a few friends of theirs and play until they get to the higher rounds. I don't quite have that privilege, so instead I pair up with randoms. Sure, you don't know the guys, and sometimes they get downed often. Sometimes they can even mess up the game. But don't you like that challenge? I enjoy playing with randoms because I have no idea how well the players are going to perform (aside from whatever the leaderboards can tell me). I could jump in with somebody who's playing a map for the first time, or I could join a match with a guy that can hold his own and then some. I guess what I'm getting at is, why don't you guys like randoms? Or, why do you guys prefer to play with randoms? I like the challenge and mystery associated with playing games with people that I have no idea about. Then again, I've only ever played with randoms (and some split-screen, but my friend is quick to get bored and he starts trying to find ways to down me), so I don't have a full opinion.
  25. I really like using all the characters, in BO1 at least. I always felt like I was going to be a winner as Takeo, despite the fact that I preferred to use Richtofen (Love those quotes!). When it comes to BO2, it's kinda split between Marlton and Russman. "You have been disarmed! Get it? ... High five! Oh wait." Something along those lines.
