  1. The profile of the silhouette reminds me of Alice
  2. Not a fan of the nova6 crawlers simply because they steal my points
  3. Yes, I already posted this earlier today... http://callofdutyzombies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=72&t=15401
  4. HOLY SHIT!!!! Look at the shadow on the moon in the upper right two pictures. Is that a Giant shadow of Samantha Maxis looming over the surface of the Moon???? Looks like the siloutte of a little girl holding a doll (such as a teddy bear or surprise monkey).
  5. Are you trolling? Watch the trailer again. The nova crawlers show up in the vid at least 3 different times, and have green gas radiating off of them.
  6. The page behind it is the Shangri-La page. Here's an image of it to compare with
  7. What is Black Flag? Google is your friend
  8. I don't see a gun in that emblem at all. All I see is blurry spot on the perk emblem. I think it's going to be like the Tactical-Mask perk, and it's purpose is to negate the nova gas effect when the nova6 crawlers blow up. I've heard a few people say the emblem looks like two guns back-to-back. Maybe that's the Tac-Mask emblem they are seeing. To further back this theory up. Check out Syndicate's analysis of the trailer. At 2:01 he shows the Nova6 crawler explode and says something about us getting a Tactical Mask this time because you don't see the damage or disorienting effect on the screen from the gas. zEzL1Vjo-yk
  9. Wow, TONS of stuff here to analyse. Totally reminds me of the ads I'd see in Boys' Life magazines from when I was a kid. Here's some things I've noticed.... The Control Panel looks like the one from Der Reise. Just speculation, but I think this is another subtle clue from the developers that we've still haven't uncovered all the mysteries in Der Reise, and the Control Panel is part of it. The Order form in the lower left hand corner has been filled out and torn out since the page has turned. Can anyone tell what items on this page are being ordered? The Gamma Ray Specs match those of the ones Pentagon Thief wears. Now we know what these glasses do for the Pentagon Thief. The MEANWHILE... text makes me believe that the events on this level are happening simultaneously with the ones going on in Shangri-La. So this means a different set of playable characters for this map. The image in the lower left corner of the 2nd page, looks like an ancient pyramid temple, like the ones in the Shangri-La loading screen. Ancient temples on the Moon??? Crazy stuff!
  10. I'm starting to think the same thing too. And here's some reasons why.... The loading screens have given us clues as to what each map is about, and what the next map will be. Then we hit Shangri-La. And I think there are a number of clues in this loading map that suggest the Moon is the next destination, and that it is back in time pre-dating Ascension (and possibly Kino too). Up until now, all the loading screens have had the upper-right corner of the page torn off, revealing a piece of the loading screen for the next map. They've been going in chronological order for the release of each map up until now. And on this screen on the left-side you can see the scientist from Ascension, followed by the 'T' from The Call of the Dead map indicating where we've previously been in the story. However there is no corner torn off of the upper-right side to indicate what the next map will be. The way the page folds at the crease in the center suggest that we are near the very end of the story. But lets take a closer look at the far left side... There is a page there that we have not seen before, that looks like some kind of technical sketch or diagram. Could this be the loading screen for the Moon map? Also, if we look closer, we can see there is a page between this one, and the Ascension page. I can only assume this is the Kino Der Toten page. Also, from the Shangri-La loading screen I believe the Black Sun symbol in the crop-circle is the clue that indicates the next map is going to be on the Moon. But the new page is at the beginning of the comic book rather than at the end. Assuming that the new page is the Moon's loading screen, that means the Moon is the next stop in the journey, but is also the beginning of the journey. So they are in a time loop. Also to back this theory up, remember in Ascension, Richtofen is wearing a space suit. Why would he be wearing a space suit unless he's returning from outer space? That would explain why you start the level on a moon lander descending on the map too.
  11. I've never seen a max ammo (or any other powerup) drop from a zombie after shooting it with the wunderwaffe. I didn't think it was possible. By chance, are you shooting the zombies in water to get this to happen? Just wondering if its the freezing thats killing the zombies and causing the powerup to drop rather than the actual gun. To get a Max Ammo while rocking the wunderwaffe, I usually do Phd flops and knife kills.
  12. I've seen the original three... Night of the Living Dead Dawn of the Dead Day of the Dead The more recent ones I've decided not to watch in order to maintain my respect and fanhood for Romero. I watched Night of the Living Dead again last Halloween, and it's still good! Don't let the B/W film turn you away from watching it. The film was produced during the color era, but was shot in B/W for budget reasons. This film is somewhat historic because this is the first time I can remember a black guy out living a bunch of white people in a horror film. The reason you fear zombies rising from the grave and breaking in your house is because of this film. Dawn of the Dead is probably the best zombie movie ever made, hands down. The remake is good too. But theres something about the original that makes this film great. Day of the Dead is a good follow up to the zombie apoco universe presented in Dawn of the Dead. This was the first film that I can remember where the entire world as we know if is ruled by zombies. It has some gory 80's special effects in it, that are awesome in comparison to todays CGI. By many zombie fans, this is the last good zombie movie Romero ever made. There's a particular zombie in this film that pretty much sums up the beginning of the end of Romero's legacy as a great zombie film maker. He only goes downhill from here.
  13. I plan to eventually make a video series on this topic and put it on my youtube channel. Unfortunately my PC has been down for awhile, and with the new Moon map coming out soon, it might be a month or so before I get to produce the video. Anyways.... I think I have the best strategy for the early rounds in CotD. I've tested and refined it many times over, and can guarantee you'll get Jugg by the end of round 5. The early rounds are all about point whoring your way to the Jugg perk. Rd 1 - Shoot zombies 6 x's in the body + knife, or shoot 8 x's in the leg + knife to maximize your points. Also, try to line up your zombies for collateral bullet damage as much as possible. Make sure you have a zombie coming through the window, to maximize your rebuild points. Rd 2 - Open up canoe to the boat area, and grab the MPL. Shoot zombies 3 x's + knife to maximize points. Reason for this is, I like the MPL slightly more than the MP5K for early game point whoring. Go back to the start area, and open the canoe towards the lighthouse. By the end of Rd 2 you should have enough points to open up the bottom snowy area. Rd 3 & 4 - Stay in the snowy area at the bottom of the lighthouse. Wait for all the zombies to spawn in and train them, before killing them off. The goal is to maximize the amount of points you get per bullet. Somewhere along the way you'll get a max ammo. As soon as you get this, start using your M1911 again. You can whore out more points with the M1911 than you can the MPL. Rd 5 - Keep doing the same tactic of kiting the zombies at the bottom of the lighthouse, maximizing your points as much as possible. When there is only one zombie left, start making your way back to the boat, and open up all the doors on your way to Jugg. If you followed my strategy correctly, avoided nukes, and maximized your points well, you should be able to afford the Jugg perk. Once you pick up the Jugg perk, you might just have enough points left over to pick up Quick-Revive as well before the end of the round.
  14. Richtofen was clearly lying to the other group members when he said they went too far into the future. He meant to go there specifically to get the Vril Device. It's all part of his master plan. I think the Shangri-La may be in the future, because there is a shrine to Richtofen on the map. That makes me think that Richtofen has already been here, did something great, and died. And now he's time traveled in the future to this place some time in the future after his death.
  15. By the looks of the logo on the left side of the zombie's uniform, I'd say he's a fan of Black Flag
  16. I don't see the Cosmic Silverback in the promotional poster at all. Just zombie astronauts
  17. I can confirm that when this happens, Samantha laughs, and your two powerups show up in a different pool of water elsewhere on the map, probably too far for you to reach in time. Seems to happen for me when I kill George in water. And the majority of the time it's been when I'm slashing him up with an upgraded ballistic knife. But it doesn't always happen with that weapon.
  18. Here's another GREAT strategy for killing George: If you have Deadshot Daiquiri perk, what you do while firing at George is to just repeatedly tap your ADS button. What happens is you keep re-auto aiming on Georges head while firing. Sure you'll miss a few shots here and there, but the vast majority of your bullets will be headshots. And that means way more damage than simply making every single shot land in his chest. headshots are a big deal when killing George.
  19. If you shoot them in the head, they die faster I know.... I was....
  20. As soon as I got an idea as to what your strategy was in that video I knew it would be a failed PHD flop which would kill you :/ Oh I knew it too. Especially since the spring mechanism in my L3 button broke during this session. No weapons are effective at this point of the game except for the scavenger sniper. But I worried about running out of ammo with the scavenger as well as pissing George off with splash damage. So that's why I was resorting to PhD flopping. I think I've developed a better strategy since then, should I ever have the patients to get this far again.
  21. I biggest piece of advice for making sure you don't fuck up on Ascension is to run around with your Thundergun out at all times. If anything weird happens, just blast the zombies away and go back to handling your business. If you want to switch out to your SMG or raygun, or whatever to kill off some zombies in the train, that's fine. But once you are back in the mode of running around while they spawn in on you, you need to immediately switch back to your Thundergun for safety reasons. Don't assume you'll be able to switch out to your Thundergun fast enough to get you out of trouble. Just keep it out at all times, just in case.
  22. I've had the audio glitches with the ziplines, and iceslides, and electricity before. Try going down the zipline, iceslide, or whatever it is, again to try to get the looping sound FX to go away.
  23. If you are playing solo, the only way you are going to keep your perks (and possibly get a 5th perk) is by wisely storing and setting up your claymores before hand. If the monkey's see the claymores they'll take the time to blow them up before hitting the perk machines. This slows down the monkeys. It also gives you an audio cue as to where they are, or where they may be headed. So this in itself in invaluable to helping chase them down before they get to your machines. However, some well placed claymores on the map can actually kill the monkeys off for you. For this to happen you have to set the claymores up in a way so the monkey can't see the claymore until he is already within the blast radius. And I have three different techniques for this type of claymore setup: 1.) Adjacent to a doorway, so once the monkey walks through a doorway, there is a claymore to the immediate right or left, that will blow it up. 2.) Top of a stair case. If the monkey is climbing a set of stairs, he won't be eye-to-eye with the claymore to blow it up, until it's right within the claymore's cross hairs. 3.) The bottom of the drop areas in the Main spawn room. If the monkeys come from outside, and drop down to get to your quickrevive or jugg machines, you can put a claymore down right where they drop before hand, to blow them up. Things to note: - The Speed Cola is the hardest to defend solo because it's the farthest away from any other perk machines. But it's also the easiest to defend with claymores. There are a good number of 90 degree turns and tops of stair cases to put claymores on before the monkeys can reach the machine. - Keep the top door in the Jugg room closed. Only open up the bottom door to get to Jugg. This makes it so the Monkeys can only hit that machine from one direction, and have to run by Quickrevive first to do so. So you can effectively protect both those machines from one spot if you only keep the one bottom door to Jugg available. PIbKRZT9Sn4
  24. The points record doesn't mean much to me. Yoteslaya has the Ascension record for highest round (rd 151 solo) and that's all that really matters IMO.
