  1. I enjoy Strike Packages. Im one of those players that absolutely Hates playing with a bunch of Randies for Teammates. They're the Worst to me. So I usually only play with my group of friends. Playing Call of Duty now on Black Ops, it's really just a fight for air space and having to call out things like, "I've got next chopper!" or, "My Dogs are next!!" because it's just such a hassle for everybody because not everyone gets to use their stuff. The thing I Love about Strike Packages that you pretty much have three different options to choose from between your team of six; that's usually how many I have on a good day; and then within that itself, you have a cornucopia of options to choose between within these three groups. Because of this, it gives way more diversity and way more free play for things when it comes to land or air support amongst a good team. It plays to different play strategies and people, which is awesome in my opinion.
  2. Trophy System has to have some sort of downside to it, otherwise it'd be pretty much great for all sorts of capture related game types.
  3. Did you have the wire? Because I completely almost gave up before I remembered the wire.
  4. Did they say there will be new DLC every month? Only if you have Hardened edition, from what I remember. Instead of the every few month'd Map Pack releases, Hardened edition members get a map [i believe] every month over the course of a year. Or something along those lines.
  5. I don't think there was real need for this topic. Or at least in the Moon section. I saw that and thought it was pretty dope.
  6. Honestly, for me, the main reason I love having oxygen in the Biodome is not only for just that set location, but the Biodome and Spawn, too, is that those two places are the only places where using the Hacker device on the Box is allowed, pretty much. Having the ability to hack the box to your needs Has to be the upside of the Biodome and Spawn simply because they are the only two locations possible that let you do that because of the trade off for the Helmet and the Hacker. Hacking Teddy: Brings the box back and lets you roll. Hacking First Draw: Shuffle once again for 600. Hacking Twice Draw: Free play, let anyone else take the Gun or Grenade that comes out.
  7. ... Oh snap. That's actually a pretty insane thing to find out. That makes me wonder now. Were there any other rockets that blasted off when you launch the rockets that fly in the other direction? Like rockets that you don't even bother to look for because your main focus is on watching the Earth blow up.
  8. Honestly, I've always asked myself why they never implemented the style of Dead Ops into an actual Zombies map. Now there are many ways that can definitely be overpowered, but there are definitely times where you're in a jam and think, "Eff! We need a Nuke or InstaKill right about now!" and then you end up dying. But I guess that's the cool thing about Dead Ops because when you use things like a Nuke, only a small area gets Nuked rather than the whole map. So I think having other types of Power Ups would be kind of cool. Just a few more days!
  9. They edited the Intel, by the way. I don't know if it makes a difference or anything. But it's back to the 150g. Heh. http://www.callofduty.com/intel/494
  10. Maybe that's the challenge when it comes to this map and the Achievement? Perks in Spaaaaace (30G) – In Moon, purchase every Perk in one game. You have to constantly fend off these astronauts to help you save up enough points to purchase all of these Perks.
  11. Honestly, it depends on the guns I were to get. Generally, they're: Juggy and Sleight, no matter what. If I have a horrible team, then I know I have to get QuickR and StaminUp just to save their sorry asses. Otherwise it's Flopper and StaminUp. I get what you're saying when it comes to changing strategies with the new perk, but maybe you won't have to change that much since having all of the Perks this time around is achievement wise; Perks in Spaaaaace (30G) – In Moon, purchase every Perk in one game. Meaning, or in my assumption, that there is no four limit anymore.
  12. I think that the whole 'spawn in Area 51' thing is very possible to the point where it could be right. I mean, from all of the gameplay we've seen so far, I feel like Moon is going to be one hell of a giant map. Which, to me, would mean opening a hell of a lot of doors. Why not kind of start us off easy with Area 51 where we can just sit and wrack up points for as long as we can before we finally get overwhelmed? But at the same time, I feel like there could also be a 'curse' to this. By that I mean no round counters. Why? Because to me, it'd kind of be evil if they made it so that if you went down in Area 51 you had no rounds saved. lOL.
  13. Oh, he's right. In another part of the video Juggy is in Area 51. At the beginning it's Speed Cola.
  14. It's got to be pretty amazing since it costs 3000 to hack something off the wall. Or, that's how it was in the video.
  15. I always spelt Der Riese wrong from the beginning, so I never noticed the new change until recently when it was brought up. Whether the spelling is changed or not, both ways of spelling it have some sort of meaning to the story.
  16. If you think about it, Richtofen is pretty much the only one that knows ahead of time to what's happening in their situation. There have been all sorts of character quotes revolving around Richtofen from the other characters, and the theories that people have been putting together about brainwashing and how the other three are starting to remember things that Richtofen originally wouldn't have wanted them to remember. And finally once we get to Shangri-La the quotes start flying during the Easter Egg and they start attacking him for information. Richtofen would be smart enough to keep the info to himself. Why give away the secret to survival to people who he's just using?
  17. Posted this yesterday in another topic.
  18. "Arm yourself with a space-age arsenal of epic proportions, including the Wave Gun, capable of cooking zombies from the inside out, as well as the Quantum Entanglement Device, which taps into the theories of quantum mechanics to bless (or curse!) your battle against the undead." I saw this awhile back and I felt like it was nothing, but Im not sure. Im one of those persons who likes to nit pick at words and make them more than they appear to be. Honestly, If I was the one who wrote out the Intel for Rezurrection, I'd want to sound like a smart ass and use big words. But with that aside, it makes me wonder that there's like a 3% chance that Fu453 has somewhat of a decent idea. i mean, we've seen, I guess, three different 'types' of Wave Guns, so who is to say that there isn't more than one type? What I got out of that Intel introduction was that there is a full set of 'space age arsenal' in Moon. Being me, I would have simply said, "Arm yourself with two new Zombag slaying weapons, including the Wave gun and the Quantum Entanglement Device..." and so on. Im most likely wrong as hell when it comes to agreeing with Fu453 and the OP, but it'd be kind of cool to have One WW, but have there be four different 'types' of this one Wave Gun so that each player has the chance to have their own fun with the new WW. But after seeing the newest Trailer where they actually test it on that poor Zombie, it still makes me think that this one gun has different properties.

    Big find

I'd like to think that the previously listed achievement list is the real one, for they all make sense in a way. 'trespassing' From my earlier post on the first Achievement topic.

    Big find

I thought the community decided that the Achievement list was fake? Or am I the only one that thought that? Haha. It's a good theory, though.
  21. Weren't these the things in that IGN Leak that was found out to be fake?
  22. Thank you for correcting me. I just got excited when I saw the image of it lol lOL. No problem.
  23. Inside xbox only shows that our character has the perk. It doesn't technically show the use of it. Unless all of us have missed it's function of switching between three guns in it's gameplay video, I don't think there's any real proof of what it does just yet. Title change, please.
  24. That's actually a pretty good theory. Good job, dude!
  25. In general, drinking the Perk Sodas boosts your natural ability. Juggy: More health. Sleight of Hand: Faster hands for reloading. Stamin Up: Increased stamina. Deadshot: Better aiming for more head shots. Double Tap: Increased finger speed. ;] Or in some cases work as a chemical reactor. Flopper: Turn yourself into an energy absorbing being; taking no damage from grenades or splash damage and being able to turn your diving body into an explosion. Then you have the ones that are somewhat iffy. Quick Revive: Giving yourself the ability to revive a downed team mate. I guess that can be put into 'natural ability,' but it's iffy. Whatever the case, whether the new perk be 'Quick Draw' or 'Gun Mule', they both are split between natural ability and iffy. Quick Draw: Faster hands for speedy gun switches. Gun Mule: More strength to carry a bigger load. But in general for me; the Iffy category and the new Perk fall into the Unknown category of things in Zombies that just don't really make sense, but you let it slide for the reason that it helps you out anyways. I mean, since when does putting your gun into a weird looking machine upgrade it with more ammo, a cooler skin, and increased bullet damage?
