  1. Really? I could've sworn that your thread disappeared here as well...I may just be losing my mind! Thanks for clearing that up!
  2. Keep in mind that Liam's thread was removed yesterday a few hours after he posted it. It didn't return back into this forum until two hours after this thread was made. But yes; any further discussion about the trailer and soundtrack should be taken into Liam's thread. :)
  3. Welcome to the community, friendo! You've come to the right place for all your zombie-lovin'; I can assure you that we all love zombies as well. In fact, we have tons of discussion going on about the new Mob of the Dead zombies. You ought to share your thoughts and ideas with us. Enjoy your stay, and keep slayin'!
  4. Well...it's magical. But in all seriousness, we swirl a bathtub full of blood with with, kill 40+ zombies with the Acid Gat in the showers (where I assume that the plumbing is sort of connected), causing the blood of the zombies plus the acid within the Acid Gat to become infused with the spoon. Once you get it, a zombie hand somehow rises up to grant a Golden Spork. I'd say it's magical by those terms.
  5. Ah, YouTube scragglers. The moment it pops up there, I'll begin my downloading spree. Thanks for posting this up, Liam. I can honestly see myself purchasing the Final Plane Takeoff just because it sounds absolutely amazing despite the 36 second duration. I could just loop it endlessly and enjoy some really deep music.
  6. Once in a blue moon, the server will bug out and do something most online gamers know as "rollbacks". A hiccup in the system will some how fail to remember the previous games' data and statistics. In turn, your ranking will change based on what it was anywhere from a few games ago to almost a couple of days back. The statistics, however, will not decrease/change.
  7. I'm also very interested in this as well. Major points have been made here, and I honestly don't see what could be holding the YouTube channel back from restoration besides filtering what kind of content should be displayed and what shouldn't. Just so everyone can get a better definition on the subject, what do you say should be allowed to be on the channel if we are given the OK to do so?
  8. When someone tries to revive me in Afterlife, I'll do the same thing on them, but with a crown of zombies around. I wot have to worry because my arsenal will get me out of a heated situation, but I can't say the same for them. Also, I try and complete anything Afterlife-related right before the round ends so I have another chance if I can shake off the troll. I like to make sure that nobody gets the skull on top of the lamppost because...well, most people forget that it's there. The same goes for the roof. :P
  9. So then the point of that post is...? It's actually a quick glimpse of the plane that falls down from the sky. It crashes on to the top portion of the Golden Gate bridge, and slowly falls into the water down below.
  10. I say 70+ at an equilibrium between Live matches and Solo matches. Anyone can reach up in the 50's in a matter of a few hours, but it takes serious time and work to go beyond it because you'll come face to face with low ammo count, different weapon combinations, and a good strategy that doesn't primarily revolve around ridiculous tactics.
  11. If you want to play with some awesome slayers, try posting in this forum: viewforum.php?f=13 You'll find the perfect crew for you in no time. :)
  12. If you're serious about trying to find a good place to train around in this narrow map, there are a few alternatives to the most obvious ones. Showers - This area can get really hectic, but it's not a bad area if you know how to drag and cut. The only problem you will encounter is running into the sides of the shower stalls, but with enough practice, you'll learn to use them as advantage points in cut-backs. A Remington is on the wall, and you'll have clusters of zombies so taking 'em out shouldn't be a problem. The narrow pathways will allow for easy Hell Retriever hoarding. If having the Remington is not your cup a tea, there is an MP5 upstairs awaiting you. Docks - While everything is extremely close in space, you can actually do some pretty nice train sessions from the workbench to the Tommy or run up the stairs and drop down. For this maneuver, you may need to build the Zombie Shield on the nearby workbench for infinite uses. The guard tower may also provide some comfort if you're needing assistance, and having it upgraded can do wonders for you. Just make sure that you are comfortable running in narrow areas, and keep a nice arsenal for getting yourself out of sticky situations. Roof - An obvious but not common area to train, the roof provides good coverage to run circles. You will definitely need some form of pathway cleaner - perhaps a Blundergat or even shotgun will suffice. Claymores will also work very well here, given that you have obtained them early on. The plane can act as a perfect escape route for you. I don't usually use it, but it has saved my life a number of times when I am in dire need of getting off the roof asap. Down below, you'll find an Uzi that may work well as your primary for killing/point hoarding.
  13. Welcome to the community, friendo! Ah, so you're a Solo Slayer? I could never fathom trying to reach high rounds alone; I'm always forced to enjoy the company of those who also love slaying. But hopefully you'll share with us some of your strategies to reaching higher rounds. Enjoy your stay, and keep slayin'!
  14. More time to work = better focus on the gameplay and storyline = new elements aside those that we have been introduced to = success.
  15. I spent two whole rounds doing nothing but killing with the Hell's Retriever and I cannot throw the axe for the life of me. I'm quite certain I also exceeded the kill threshold as well.
  16. This has actually been happening for a long while; even beyond Black Ops II. Just a lot of graphics glitches going on, but I personally love the stretchy glitch.
  17. The rift itself cannot teleport objects; the rift is like a hole in the fabric of space and time. The perk machines had to be teleported through that rift, yes; however, these perk machines (aside the Electric Cherry) do not belong here. More than likely, Lucifer himself moved the machines into this time where they did not exist yet. So yes, they were passed through the rift - or a result of the rift - by Lucifer.
  18. Over 300.0 K/D...golly, you should've obtained something by now. If you just got the high K/D mark, the system may take a day or two to actually register a different rank for you. I know that it took well over three weeks to get my blue eyes, yet I already played five consecutive days of Zombies way back then. Some people also believe that there is a certain limit you must reach in every other statistic such as revives.
  19. While the Side Quest can be done in Custom Games, it cannot be done on Easy. It must be completed on Original. And welcome to the community, friendo! :)
  20. It happens when your zombie shield is being attacked and you constantly switch it out back and forth. Over time, it is destroyed but the game will register some hits as shield attacks when you don't even have one. You may experience another screen shake (animation for a broken shield) and the glitch will be removed.
  21. Welcome to the community, friendo! I'm still trying to wrap my head around that username...SummersEve. I keep thinking about a calendar and I am trying to hard to picture this, haha. Anyways, it's great to have you now as an official member! Three years is a long, long time. I'm surprised you didn't make one sooner! Enjoy your stay, and keep slayin'! :)
  22. Welcome to the community, Wallyo-friendo! It's glad to have you on board, especially since you have decided to change from lurker to full-time member. Enjoy your stay, and keep slayin'! :)
  23. The loops technically occur when our crews die in the storyline rather in the gameplay itself. The original four never died from what we know, so they are progressing through each area and time. Does it still distort the time flow? Yes. The new crew has died once in Die Rise, but was brought back to life by Richtofen. They could've easily have died a few more times than that, but we truly do not know. Does it still distort the time flow? We aren't too sure yet, since they've only encountered teleportation once and it's unknown if they broke through time. The Mob of the Dead crew are obviously in loops. They are force to survive in purgatory on Earth by reliving that dreadful New Year's night. Every time they try and die on their own, they are brought back to the beginning of the cycle as their torment until something can be done for the cycle to be broken (Al killing the crew). Does it still distort the time flow? In a sense, yes. There seems to be two timeflows that we must take into consideration here: what we consider as the real timeline, and what is parallel to it. The cycles in Mob of the Dead are parallel to the actually events that occurred. The other two crews never experienced this before, but it can happen if they were to go back in time. But yes; all this is one huge rift; a distortion if you will.
  24. Welcome to the community, friendo! If you want to find some awesome slayers such as yourself to this those high rounds in Mob of the Dead, you may want to check out this little nifty Teammate Finder forum: viewforum.php?f=13 Ah, what UFC fight did you watch? I love seeing some UFC matches when I get the chance. Enjoy your stay, and keep slayin'! :)
  25. Hm, this thread really has become the battle of simplicity versus uniqueness. I like Zombies where it's at. Maybe it is because I care about all aspects of the game and not just straight-forward "will I get to Round X today?". I care about perming small tasks in order to achieve something. It allows me to feel satisfied because once you set yourself up, the odds of you having a bad time in Zombies are extremely low if you know what you're doing. The gripe that most people have in Black Ops II Zombies has nothing to do with the maps or the weapons or the characters or the traps or the buildables - it's the sudden 180 approach from what Zombies used to be. For some odd reason, people are stuck in this weird limbo that if it doesn't retain its old former self, that it's bad because "it's different". To be honest, I don't want to play new maps where I say "Oh this is like ____________" because I actually prefer new maps that don't replicate one another. That's just my two cents though. We all have our own preferences, and I understand where everyone is coming from. Some points I agree, and some I disagree. Either way, my love for Zombies doesn't change because I still get to slay some freakbags whenever I feel like regardless what is in my arsenal at the time.
