Perk Bottle From Monkeys Discussion

Hey, this thread is to show you how to get the perk bottle from monkeys on shangri la. well, its more about strategies on how to obtain them. so this is what i have found out so far:

If there is a legit max ammo that was dropped from a zombie, and u let the monkey take it, the perk bottle will always show up after the max ammo.

But the max ammo is the only power up i have found that does this. lets say it was a carpenter. the perk bottle wont show up after the carpenter if it was a carpenter; only works for max ammo.

I know you guys are probally confused, but i wont you guys to post if you have found any other order like the max ammo one then ill put it up here. thanks guys

Risk the max ammo for the perk.

thats bs it doesn't matter what power up you let the monkeys take always after the max ammo shows up than the random perk bottle shows up it doesn't matter what the power up was when a zombie dropped it....

^ I've tried it. A perk bottle doesn't show up if its not a max ammo.

I have yet to find a way to get a monkey to grab a powerup before I die from being distracted from the incoming zombies :(

In the beginning rounds when u are using mpl, u don't really need max ammo, trade it for a free perk.

I know this works cuz I did it by mistake the first time I played, but now when I try it does'nt work. I'm thinking it's because the power is not on yet, does this only work if the power is on? Last time I tried it was a hammer after the ammo.

Also after the power is on if that matters, I know you say it has to be a max ammo but what if it's a 2x points for example and I let the monkey change it to a max ammo, then let the monkey take it agin and change it to a perk, would it work like that?

yes, only other way is to do the EE.

this is really pretty difficult to do to be able to time it correctly while avoiding the zombies. im imagining it may be easier in a co-op game than solo,

you can get all of them without 4 people involved, but then you lose them when you go down :'(

Sounds like something Treyarch definitely would do.

Ugh... Decisions, decisions. I suppose if you either are planning on getting another gun, recently just got a max ammo or have enough to go around it wouldn't hurt. But those become pretty valuable pretty fast.

I think this is not always true. I think I only saw perk bottle after max ammo only the first time I got max ammo in the game. After that the order is random. I have been trying to do this since 2 days. This is very hard to get it for solo in beginning rounds. I will try to get it once I get better guns like M&S or ray gun since it is one hit kill for monkeys from distance.

I seen the perk bottle agin lastnight but it go's by so fast, it does'nt stay as long as the outher power up's in rotation.

You guys have missed the obvious. You can get the perk and a max ammo.

When you get a max ammo, trade it for a bottle.

Then wait for a carpenter or instakill or anything you don't need and swap it for a max ammo. And Pow full ammunition.

Although always be alert for zombies.

its always in a random order, you usually have to have it go around the rotation once before getting it unless your really good at it.

I tried the changing a different power-up to a max ammo, then letting the monkey take it and see if a perk bottle comes up after they take the max ammo. It doesn't work. It only works if it's originally a max ammo.
