  1. It began long ago on the battle fields of the great war. My name is Samantha, I'm going to tell you really how all this began. Having been away for a week, I have played local single player as has my boy. I have listened to the cut scene several times and I've got to be honest and say, that "I'm going to tell you really how all this began" is a very important factor in the story. This is going back and telling us is plain sight without any need to theorise on it, that this is how it all began. It doesn't explain everything though but gives the explanation of the "Origins" name.

Because there are zombies at a syberian outpost or in a high rise.

No they're not. But Origins is different in that it's largely based around actual events that happend. (Reality meets Fiction thus they call it their own alternate reality version of WW1 with Robots!) Most other maps are all based around so much fiction to begin with, there's no need to add "Moon is set in an alternate reality" because that's already clear as soon as you start up the map.

Then if all maps are set in an "aternate reality", then so is Origins, hence why they used that quote in the map description. Does not necessarily mean it's an alternative timeline to the current zombie storyline, which is the point I am making . Obviously it would make a LOT of sense, but I don't see any confirmation of it.
