  1. I've been able to revive people through walls before. And if I remember correctly, the other side of that broken wall in the TS room corner is accessible. If you can revive someone, you should be able to activate the command to pick up a TS. If he did pick up one of your TS, the others could have just glitched out, but he then wanted to redeem his troll by reviving you guys.
  2. I find the best strategy to maximize kills and limit downs is a mobile camping strategy. Don't run the whole map. Instead, just run between two buildings back and forth, find cover, engage your enemies when they come to you. It's kind of like being a spider. Build a web and wait for your prey to get entangled. Just patrol the small section of the map and when enemies approach, find good cover or a good ambush point and attack. I don't worry about k/d, myself, so I like to run the whole map and have fun. I get agitated at campers because they just sit in one spot and ADS the whole match. That takes the fun out of running the whole map. The fun comes when you run around the corner and there's an enemy. The ensuing firefight becomes a battle of skill to out maneuver your enemy, be the quicker to draw, and/or have better accuracy. I find that in close-quarters, hip fire usually always wins these fire fights, so the smarts to not ADS in such a fire fight wins. Also neat tricks are to go prone and make them miss. Perhaps it's safer to ADS around corners, but that takes the fun of a suprising encounter out of it, to me.
  3. I think it will be something In Antarctica. From where GR is, Hanford, WA, to where GLF is, Shanghai China, we need to make a triangle. Since the next page looks underground and where Antarctica is in relation to the the other two spires. That's my guess. Antarctica is rumored to have huge underground facilities, btw. But what about the other 2 DLCs?, you ask... I don't think we'll be powering up spires in those. I think we'll be continuing the trend that the SP Campaign brought in about performing missions in the past. Maybe we'll see the O4 return in one of those, or maybe one will be Atlantis...After all, if we triangulate from WA to China, to Antarctica, we'll effectively have the Atlantic Ocean smack dab in the middle. Maybe our O4, aided by the help of the N4 will time-travel into the future and arrive in Atlantis.
  4. It's like second nature to me, now. I'm actually a bit disappointed when I don't get to move parts. ...Oh the things we'll do to keep this game interesting.
  5. That diagram makes sense. Furthermore, if the MPD is supposed to be the only viable way to travel between the Aether and our dimension, any other means would only partly get you there. Hence the Gersch Device and Kassimir Mechanism. Since they weren't created by the Vril-Ya or whoever designed the MPD, those devices lacked that special "magic" that would allow travellers to fully access the Aether. When we freed Gersch, we more or less facilitated that partial access to the Aether to remain open because not only do we have a device in our dimension (GD/KM), but now Gersch had created a device in the Aether. Even if these devices are not readily being used, that possibility of travel still remains, therefore a rift in the Aether itself now exists. Maxis may be trying to exploit this and power up the towers enough to redirect the energy towards re-igniting that dimensional rift, enter the Aether, and combat Richtofen. Obviously, Richtofen is trying to mend the rift and close access to the Aether by means other than the MPD. How the towers could be utilized to do this, I'm unclear.
  6. Couple of things I can see... 1) I think after the recent patch/update the NAV table must be built prior to completing the EE's ...Make sure that's built 2) No mention of your game mode. If custom you must be on 'Original' difficulty. 3) If you've completed Richtofen, try allowing your friend who hasn't accomplished the EE host the game. The steps you describe seem to be right on, but to clarify: I used the lamp posts at Town and Diner for the last step.
  7. Seems like all our beloved perks are being brought into the perma-perk realm, which is great, but... I hope this is not a sign of things to come, i.e. replace perk machines for perma-perks entirely.
  8. Whoever said I'd let Trollarch develop my idea...?
  9. One thing I hate about these glitchy Zombie movements are the drunk zombies. I'll be training the hungry ones easily, just running them into a tight circle, but there's always one or two that are much slower and lethargic, like they're drunk. They make it much more difficult to keep the train tight. They really like to hangout in a cutback path for when new zombies spawn in. Makes for many grrrr moments.
  10. This guy has plagued my friend list from day one of my XBL service. He has skill, but it's not worth the constant barrage of ego-driven self-promotion that he spams to others during the games. I played with someone else who stated to me, "If that was my kid, I'd drown him in the bath tub." Ha! I'd rather not send him this link and risk him trolling the forum. I don't want to be responsible for making that connection.
  11. I stay away from HC because it's a Camper's paradise and I have always been a Run & Gun player. I loathe campers and will actively seek them out if I find one. Another great thing about Core is the kill cam, so if I am killed by a camper, his spot is immediately known to me and I can get the revenge medal. Run & Gun is just where it's at. There's nothing more exhilirating than getting into a firefight, running around someone, lining them in your sights, waiting for them to turn and fire, then go prone and unload in their chest. Good luck getting that feeling camped inside some window with claymores or bettys behind you.
  12. Don't mention Lost! I don't think I can take another let down of that magnitude! Why JJ Abrams?! WHY?!?!?
  13. His ego was too big to play with and has been removed from my friend list since. Good riddance!
  14. I'm only a novice with the knowledge and grasp of the storyline, but I am understanding that there seems to be a cult, "The Flesh" where Stuhlinger hails. This bit of info combined with things showing up in GLF, like the Chinese sign that translates to "International Zombies Center", causes me to believe there is some history on this Earth of human living with Zombies. From what I understand, Richtofen gained control of the Zombies on Earth since Moon, so my question is: Where does Maxis fit in? If BO:2 is set some time in the future from the events on Moon, which based off the clues that lead me to believe there is a substantial amount of time that Earth has been dealing with the Zombies, why are Richtofen and Maxis just NOW starting to interfere? What has transpired between these two "demi-gods"? Is there just something special about Stu and our N4 and our two "demi-gods" are battling for this target of opportunity? If Maxis launched the rockets to try and destroy the Earth that Richtofen had inherited control of the Zombies with, why doesn't he just continue this trend? Why enlist help from anyone? ...And why does Richtofen need any further assistance?
  15. Richtofen's color just seems to be blue, at least in BO:2, because when you complete Richtofen EE's the towers turn blue and the Zombie eye color change in NTZ. I seem to remember in BO:1 the character models fit the player score color, could be wrong about a couple, but I seem to remember: White=Dempsey Yellow=Takeo Blue=Nikolai Green=Richtofen Now, we see Maxis EE represented by Orange/Red, but if Samantha had control when the Zombies' eyes were yellow, shouldn't we expect Maxis to be yellow as well? Just kinda thinking out loud...
  16. Has anyone tried to beat all the little Atari games in the NT2k5 MP EE, then maybe get some clues or at least have this done before attempting anything in NTZ? OW5PfL7MAIs
  17. Simple to explain how they're connected... If my character's dialogue annoys the crap out of me, I probably won't be as good at slaying as I would be if I enjoy the dialogue. Richtofen was my favorite because his sick sense of humor was perfect for the gore of killing Zombies, made me laugh, but not enough to interfere with the brutality I needed for extinguishing the horde. Nikolai was second because he had a big ego and that helped me feel more untouchable. You could feel the testosterone flowing through you when you played as Nikolai. I'm not a fan of any of these new four, but Russman has the most acceptable dialogue, I think. Marleton is too nerdy, Misty is vulgar and not a good representation of a woman, Stu is too scared sounding.
  18. Ascension. Though I feel I've missed out, having never played the WaW maps...
  19. Why not just turn quickly and hit them in the air? I've actually managed to get two knife hits in while they're still in the air, if I turn and time it perfectly. Of course, with the Knuckles, it's only one hit while they're in the air.
  20. I'd name this one Ammo Juice. Another idea I have is: Freedom Hooch Costs 2500 One time use perk. Senses when you become surrounded/cornered and teleports you away from the horde, saving the down.
  21. I would like some sort of indication while in game that I've completed a challenge. Maybe I'm not paying attention, but take Shifting Sands for example...I completely disregarded following on horseback because I was seeking out Russians to run over...I swore I had run over twenty, finish up the mission and DON'T get the challenge marked complete! I may try to write a how-to guide on all these challenges, haven't seen one on this forum. Anyone else seen one elsewhere or want to help me write the guide?
  22. I think the turret would work well in the tight hallways of GLF, say the Remington hall, you watch the elevator and the window, let the turret spray down the hall, get on the elevator if you get overrun. In the power plant on GR, there's an inaccessible doorway on one side of that center rotunda/main room where Avogadro spawns. I'm wondering if the TS could get you there. Of course, the no clippers have probably already explored that door and it most likely leads nowhere. How about the Sliquifier out front of the farm? Or at Diner? Flight with the Jet Gun in GLF for that extra bit of leap...Would be cool.
  23. You're drawing up a highly unlikely and very lucky game. Let's look at the rounds. If we're point-whoring maximum, we'd get about 1-2k every round. So, best case scenario we can open 2 doors at 750 in round one. Now, let's say the box is behind those doors (again, best case scenario), after round 2 we can hit the box, if we get HAMR on first pull (how likely is that?!), we'd have about 500-800 points leftover, we start round 3. Will take us about 6-8 rounds to have 10k, so we're at round 10 or so when we get the perk. Now we're broke. Our HAMR has been completely reliant on Max Ammos, but let's say we have this highly unlikely, super lucky game going and we got the Max Ammos. We're broke by round 10 and we now have to wait on perks. You really think this would be easy? The truth is, this game you're drawing is rare. A fantasy. Normally, we would have to hit the box again or use a wall weapon. Normally 10k is not easily achieved without ANY perks. If we also achieve our first perk for 10k, but still have to wait on a random roll to receive the perk, we run a big risk of going down. Honestly, how many people don't buy Jugg as their first perk? C'mon man, this would be a great and challenging perk machine, not OP.
  24. You're crazy, that's not overpowered. You spend the 10k up front, get a symbol that indicates you bought it, but no perk until the next round starts. If you go down once before you get all your perks, guess what...You get nothing, but the BB keeps the 10k. Imagine you don't get Jugg the first time. You already must be at fairly decent rounds to have the 10k, so now you're almost into double digits, if not already. Takes quite a lot to go into double digit rounds without Jugg and no downs. So this perk would challenge you. BTW, the Barista is supposed to be a nod to a Barista (coffee shop attendant) continuously serving you perks (refilling your coffee cup) for 10k up front.
  25. Never experienced this glitch. I always hit the left side, never run, never jump. I just drop, wait for my red screen to pass, drop again. Right before that last slide, there is a main platform and then a smaller platform. I just wait for red screen to go away, walk to the smaller platform, then just drop onto the left side of the last slide, never glitch. Maybe my days are numbered...Maybe not.
