  1. The perks are very interesting, and I think there is something behind them coming down like that. They could've easily done a Shangri-La with the perks already in but moving to different locations every time. But they didn't. A few things to consider though: 1. Even when Richtofen is in control, the rockets have not hit earth yet. 2. It happens when Samantha is control as well. Well before Maxis sent the rockets. 3. The perks literally come out of the nuke at an arc, than plummet to Nuketown. Just like a catapult. So it shoots up at an angle, than drops. 4. The Pack-a-Punch machine also comes in this way. Just remember that it, Juggernog and Speed Cola are only a few hundred miles away at Area 51. 5. The Pack-a-Punch has a battery on it (like Green Run, though this is probably just a paste and copy), and it's Double Tap 2 that comes down, not the original. So it existed while the original one was around. Perhaps someone wanted to create a v2 because they didn't like the original. Porter? 935? Who knows. I really like your theory, because it is so creative. But the glaring point is that Samantha is still in control while the perks are coming down. So the rockets haven't been sent yet. The part that interests me is the way they arc up before dropping. That's the part that gets me. Why do they do that?
  2. The thing is, it's name isn't T.E.D.D. It's just the Bus Driver. Don't believe CoDWiki. Stuff starts on there, people start believing it, and it just spreads. So, he has no name because there is nothing to suggest he has a name. As for the T4 (Tranzit 4), I've only really paid attention to Misty's. What I've learned is she watched both her parents die from zombies a long time ago. Seems like she might know Russman from before Green Run, but I need to investigate that. She grew up on a Farm, has a thing for Shotguns. Likes/wants to be in a relationship with Marlton. Dresses like a whore, also suggested to be one by Samuel, but it could be just because he hates her. Has a lot of piercings everywhere. That's off the top of my head. You'd have to ask someone else about the others, I'm not well versed on them.
  3. I only found them similar because the spelling is so close to each other. But I've always said "reese" not "rise" so that wasn't a comparison for me. To me it looks literally like "DIE" "RISE". Not in German or anything, all English.
  4. I remember that name. Welcome back Pie. I don't think we ever talked with each other, but I do certainly remember that name. :)
  5. I've seen the leaked vid as well. But yeah, dont post it. As for the date, is it possible they could be doing the same thing with MW3 Elite? Release a map or two once a month to Elite users, than after a couple of months, release a map pack for the Non-Elite users. Though I'm not sure if that would work. Elite is free, and practically everyone has it now, so it's not much use in that. Actually now that I look, it's only a couple of days before Feb 2nd, when Ascension came out 2 years ago (wow, it's been a while), so it's not a big difference between release dates.
  6. It's not a pyramid. What you are seeing is the mountain Ragdo shows. Any other 'pyramids' you see are most likely a mountain. You see, Zombies (probably all CoD games) has this effect occurring in every map almost. When a certain filter is applied, but it is see through, certain objects tend to highlight. Not highlight, but become grey and clearly stand out in the filter. You can even see these through objects as well! Take Sickle Lander in Ascension. Look at the control pad and you'll know what I mean. On Green Run, best example I can give is looking through the windows of the Diner. Odd effect, but nothing more. In this case, the fog is acting as the filter. Highlighting the mountain, but not the rocks so it looks a little like a pyramid! Pareidolia Run to Town from the shack or Power, and you will see the windows/walls off the bank highlighted through the fog. I use this to my advantage to get a sense of direction. All in all, it's not a pyramid, but filter glitch present throughout CoD.
  7. I get why though. It was going with the whole Romero movie theme. Actually the movie was called Call of the Dead, so I wonder if George was going to include that in his Living Dead series, since they all end with "of the Dead". But since it and Ascension were in Russia, I wished they'd had a Russian name. Shangri La I'm fine with. Moon is a bit average and boring, but I'm not sure what else it could've been called. Maybe Griffin? Green Run I'm fine with. But Town, Farm and Bus Depot have to be the most average, boring, crappiest names thus far. Cone on Treyarch! If Town actually had a name, it could've been called that! I know Farm and Bus Depot could've been more creative as well. If Die Rise is the name of the next DLC, well at least it's somewhat creative. If it's in Tokyo though, well, it should've had a Japanese name like Shi No Numa.
  8. I hope we stay with the T-crew. I'll be thoroughly disappointed otherwise. Let's not forget, Denizen's are our answer to teleporting. As was the MTD for the O4, than Richtofen learned it was capable of time travel, so it's very possible they could learn to time travel (maybe not with the Denizens).
  9. I immediately thought Der Riese 2025 when I saw the name. Only because it is so similar to it. If Die Rise is the name, than I don't think it's German. I think it's English, so it's actually DIE and RISE. However I'll wait till they actually produce a trailer or official statement before I talk about the name. Because remember when everyone thought Call of the Dead was going to be called Survive? Very possible it could be the same situation here. I see the helicopter, reminds me of the Aftermath map. Going towards the rooftop theory, hopefully it will be our Tranzport. All in all, I'm excited. I hope we get some relevant backstory with a lot of Answers in this DLC instead of getting more Questions. I gotta know more about Misty Treyarch! I wonder if we can beat the most users online set by Ascension for this DLC? What does the time for this map have to do with Nuketown? We were discussing that map, not Green Run or any other maps. So even if this is 2025 (it looks like it), it has nothing to do with Nuketowns timeframe.
  10. It's related to the kills I believe. I'm studying it now, but the first perk after Quick Revive in Solo has always come at 14 kills for me (or end of Round 2/start of Round 3). However, I have had it come at 28 kills sometimes. But those two numbers are directly related, 28 being double of 14, so there is a specific formula. I'm gonna try and post some results soon.
  11. They're expanding there horizons. Trying to get people to buy it more. If it goes well, expect to see DLC weapons in future CoD titles. Oh god, I just realized! If I don't get all the SMG's Gold before this comes out, I will have to Gold this gun as well for Diamond. But don't forget, we don't know the Peacekeepers stats. I don't think it will be locked to a certain level, it will probably already be unlocked. Either in the SMG tab, or in a new DLC tab. If it is overpowered, than Treyarch will most likely patch it. :)
  12. I would've loved if Mike Harper and Chloe Lynch (Karma) could both survive till the end. They looked like a good pair together. Unfortunately, only one of them can survive in the storyline no matter what. There are a number of ways Chloe can die. But it ultimately is decided in Achilles Heel. Where you must decide if Farid shoots Harper, or if he shoots Menedez. If Farid shoots Harper, he is spared, and is ultimately there to protect Chloe from Salazar or Defalco killing her. This leaves Chloe alive, but Harper dead unfortunately. This leads to the Perfect Ending though. If Farid shoots Menedez, he will dodge and than kill Farid. This leaves him unable to protect Chloe from Salazar or Defalco. The perfect ending cannot be obtained if Harper is not killed. Adding on from this, if you do not complete the Strike Force missions, Chloe will go down with the Obama, leaving both dead. Of course we all want the perfect ending, but it leaves Harper dead unfortunately. So I ask you all. The first time you played the campaign, how did it turn out for Harper and Chloe in your situation? For me, I wanted to try and do the best ending. Already failed that with killing Mason, though I didn't know he could survive. Killed Harper because I felt that was the right away. Saved Chloe, and Farid took Salazar's bullet (I had killed Defalco before this). BUT, I was playing Veteran and found the Strike Force missions to hard, so I left them. I knew this would have bad consequences, but I just couldn't beat them. This resulted in Briggs (I let Menedez spare him, not much point though) and Chloe going down with the Obama. So Harper and Chloe were both dead! To make matters worse, I killed Menedez in the end. This results in Cordis Die uprising and laying down the goverment. I got the worst ending, the complete opposite of what I wanted, haha!
  13. I love it. Especially when you're near the enemy spawn area, and they have a care package coming. Just hack it through the wall. If you can manage to do it before they do, you will successfully hack it, and turn it against the enemy. Before one of the updates, you could hack a friendly players care package the speed of hacking equipment. Way faster than the owner could hack it. They changed this after an update though. Especially fun when you hack an enemies equipment while they stay in a certain area (ie; Top floor of Hijacked), and than run in there, kill them, and place your own equipment down for extra protection. I actually remember, I got Final Killcam. It showed me hacking a Betty, while two players ran past it. One of my proudest achievements haha! As I said, I love it! :D
  14. You're contradicting yourself here. Not everything in Zombies has some unusual meaning behind it. In this case, a gun is a gun. Nothing more. Are you forgetting that the Galil, Python, MP5, AK74u, FAL, M16, M14 and Olympia appear in it as well? By your logic, that must mean that Nuketown is in the 80's, since those weapons appear during Mason's portion of the campaign. We have provided countless evidence in this thread. You are choosing to ignore them, and perceive them as fiction. Whatever facts we provide, you are choosing not to believe. As Tac said. Perks are considered magic according to Treyarch. Turn Magic off in Custom and they will not appear. I post on mine all the time. You can easily just go back through your post after you've typed it, and press enter after certain sentences to create paragraphs for easy reading. I'm going to quote you here, because you've answered your own question here. Exactly! So why can't that apply to the guns appearances in certain maps themselves? Not to forget, that you haven't even taken the evidence on Moon into account. Moon takes place during Nuketown, and there is evidence just on that map itself to suggest a 60's date. Also, stop being so negative and abusive in your replies. We are trying to help you, but you keep going off at us.
  15. Next time could you please put paragraphs. It's very off putting for most people to read a whole wall of text. Paragraphs help a lot. I've fixed up your last reply in this quote so it's easier for others. Nuketown Zombies is most definetly canon, all maps are. The weapons have been untrustworthy in deciphering the time in the map. They contradict straight up evidence so much, so I don't see why we can't consider them non-canon. Tac has provided you with examples that contradict the very map itself. Also, the weapons are just that. Weapons. They're meant for gameplay purposes, not for analyzing the time frame (except for the Wonder Weapons). A very simple answer could consider them prototypes, but honestly, there probably is no answer. They are probably in the maps because they are already in the game for the Campaign. It's just Treyarch using re-used assets. Granted, there are a few Black Ops weapons appearances, but that can be put down to them appearing in Mason's portion of the campaign, and/or to make the Black Ops Zombies players feel more at home with weapons they already know. If the weapons mattered that much, and it does take place in 2025, than they could've easily replaced the FAL with the FAL OSW. Also, your point about the EMP's. It does not apply to Nuketown, as I'm fairly certain it does not appear in the box for Nuketown Zombies. I have never gotten it, only Monkeys, and I've never seen any footage or anyone else saying it's in it. But I need confirmation on that, but fairly certain still.
  16. I'm hoping we don't have buildable guns like the TAM 23 in future DLC. It really is a pain. Just stick to Wonder Weapons in the box and I'll be happy. As for my favourite's so far, the top three in order would be: 31-79 JGb 215, Scavenger and Winter's Howl. I discovered the TAM 23 can't be used from the back of the bus either. Used it on the bridge when they're all built up, but it just pulls you up to the window, and they don't get pulled towards it. If it was a box weapon though, and it had a gauge like the flamethrower in WaW, I might've liked it a bit better.
  17. I've already stated why. It's available on Green Run now, but for only about two more months. And that is just extreme laziness if you can't add an extra letter in. You've could've spelled you as 'u', and as '&', why as 'y', etc. Why not spell them like that since it's less characters? I hope the next DLC brings new transport. A boat would be nice as well. And bumpity bump bump.
  18. Hey, hey, hey! Slow down buddy, just because Samuel calls her a slut, a bimbo, and a whore does not mean she is one. Looks can be deceiving, lets not judge a book by it's cover. On that note, I'm seeing a lot of negative feedback about all of them in general. About how they're not the original gang, how they'll never replace them or aren't as funny. That's good and all, but that's like saying a new dog will replace an old dog. It can never be replaced. But you can make room for the new dog, and love it just as much as the old one. Just remember, it's early days. We have only had one map to get to know them, and only 1 month has passed. We've had 4 years with the original gang, and 6 maps (8 if you include NdU and Verruckt) so it's a little harsh and unfair to compare them with each other. Takeo has changed a lot since his induction in Shi No Numa. Back than he was all serious, speaking in riddles and talking about honor. Never really joked around, and he would've had the lowest fan base. Now look at him. His character has been great to watch. Joking around, showing just how bad-ass he is (Tank even says that his rubbing off on him). Alright, to the OP now. Misty: She is my favourite. I love everything about her. While you are getting a bimbo/hillbilly vibe, I'm getting a Tank Dempsey vibe off her too. Since she was also shown on the poster, I think of her as the white player (even though they don't have default colours). Like MMX says, a few quotes of hers are intellectual, and some are even surprising. I don't think of her as the bimbo/hot girl of the group. I think she will be a stand out character, and key part in the storyline. Also considering the chicks in these situations in movies are usually the stereotypical blonde girl, it's nice seeing a different side. Marlton: I'd probably consider him my second favourite, and the blue character. Getting a small Takeo vibe off him, but I like how there's a love interest with Misty, and that she reciprocates as well. Stereotypical nerd, but there's more to him than what meets the eye. He was in the Nuketown bunker when the missiles hit, and yet he still appears in Green Run. Very very odd. Samuel: Yellow character. Getting a Richtofen vibe off him, obviously since Richtofen claims he can only hear him, much like Richtofen and the voices in his head. A big conspiracy nut this guy. His quotes are pretty interesting, and he sure is paranoid. He claims to know more than what meets the eye, and it seems like he knows the area of Green Run over all. But a big no-no for what he says to Misty. At least she can dish it back. Third liked character. Russman: Green character. Honestly...I am just not connecting with Russman at all. A few of his quotes are funny, and Nikolai-ish. But I'm just not feeling him unlike the other three. I hope this changes in the future though. So many things they could do with his character. He seems to know Misty before this, so I'd like to see where this goes. Least favourite for me, I hope that changes. Onto the CDC and CIA guys now. I can't believe Treyarch did not have quotes for them. Now this can change with future DLC (Verruckt added some quotes for the marines), but right now, it is so bland, it just forces the gameplay at me. Not to mention the maps seem like a copy and paste, and that there is no musical EE or even any small EE's. And they are apart of the storyline, now with the Nuketown Zombies description. Very disappointed. So much wasted potential. Not even any insults to the other team in Grief... Not to mention that all their character models are the same. No personality for each of them. Saddened by this. Wow, didn't realize I wrote that much haha. :D
  19. I partially agree. While they're technically there own maps with different features, I don't really consider them as maps. That glory goes to Green Run itself. If they had them different visually from Green Run, maybe change some of the layout, I would consider them they're own maps. Right now they just look like a copy and paste job with some cars added in. Remove the fog, have them set at different times of the day so it's different lighting (day, afternoon, night), unique music EE's and I'd be happy. Only visual changes... Anyway, hopefully this gets some replies while I'm off. It's going to get lost otherwise.
  20. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has thought about this. But do you guys think there is any correlation between the Moon LS and Nuketown Zombies LS? They do take place at the same time, though this does not warrant that the Loading Screen's events took place at the same time.
  21. That Tranzit is a game mode, not a map. A lot of you write Tranzit instead of Green Run, the maps name. Just hear me out. If I join right after DLC 1 drops in a couple of months, than the user will just see everyone saying Tranzit, not sure whether they are referring to the Tranzit mode in Green Run, or the Tranzit mode in the new DLC. It honestly grinds my gears when people get it wrong. All I'm saying is use the term correctly. Remember, Green Run is the map we play in. It refers to the whole area, which we play in within Tranzit mode. I know some people will ignore this and continue to do it though. I can at least try to reduce the confusion for new members in the future.
  22. It's possible, but unlikely. At least with PhD Flopper. That perk would basically make Green Run easier than Ascension. The lava would be made redundant, and people would end up relying on shooting their feet to save themselves. Deadshot. Possibly. Though I think it's probably the least popular perk (I loved it though). Mule Kick I could see added. Very hard to come by ammo, especially at Town, so a 3rd weapon would always be helpful. Altogether though, it's more likely that any new perks added in Future DLC would have more of a chance being added to past BO2 maps, than PhD, DD or MK being added to BO2 maps.

The forum hit a new low as soon as the code was released, and this guy started posting. Everyone is arguing with each other, the language is atrocious now. We were NEVER like this. Now look at us. Not really seeing any mod action, although I hope it's being done. Warnings and Bans need to start happening. It's clear some of these new users did not read the Code of Conduct.
  24. Probably rude, but hell. Why is this still open? If anything, this has caused more conflicts than it is helping. If he wanted to give a 'gentle nudge', why not create a thread of his own. He's not guaranteed that everyone will see his posts, but it's more lIkely with a thread of his own. He is purposely ignoring questions that bring holes up, not even attempting to justify them. Anyone who has ever said they have inside info I have never seen correct. Why tell us that? You're making it harder because that is one of the biggest deal breakers. You'd have been better off not mentioning that. But have you also let PTG know? NGT? Any of the big youtubers? You'd get a larger audience there. I wasn't around at the time, but do you know the story of Henry Langham? I won't get into specifics, but from what I've been told, and what I've read, the forum was practically divided. Half thought he was legit, that it was true, while the other half didn't believe them. A lot of fighting started between members of the forum, and it was just terrible to see these people divided over a lie. I just don't want to see that happen because of this. I don't believe you, not unless these videos you claim to have are shown. PS. I got the Kifflom comment. Epsilon
  25. So after thinking about this for the whole day, I've come to realize I was hypocritical and I didn't even realize. I compare this to glitches and leaks, but you know what else this can be compared too? Quotes. Treyarch tried to hide them a lot better this time around, even going so far as to not give them proper names. But they were eventually found, and given out. Specifically to this site. And I had no quarrels with that, even though it's pretty much the same deal as the code. I apologize for any inconvenice, and I take back what I said. It's unfair of me to judge the coding, whilst accepting the quotes. We could've easily scripted them and got them all ourselves, except for the cut quotes. Instead of taking the long road and doing the hard yards, we took the short route and opted for the quickest exit. It's a grey area really. A fine line cannot be put into place because they are all so close to each other. This is making me bummed haha. Again, apologies for any inconveniences. PS. I would've wrote this a lot longer, but you know how iPods are.
