  1. It is more likely you'd have accidentally added an "e" to "rise" to make "riese" Than replace the "er" with "ie" in "der". From "die riese" , "die rise" is more easily obtained.
  2. I dont think that's accurate. Just because xbox one and PS4 are launching, doesn't automatically end all 360 and PS3 Games. I'm pretty sure they'll continue to support the two consoles for years yet, and I'm sure many many people will not be spending the 500-600 intro fee to get either console in the first year.
  3. That particular quote sounds VERY similar of the one Richtofen plays when you (or sometimes others) pick up a shield part. Video or audio recordings of the difference, would be very beneficial if there is one. It could just be a delayed reaction to picking up a shield part though.
  4. Raygun MK 2 is in Origins, I just swear it's impossible to grab from the box. Any one have input over MK2/MK2 X2 vs Boomhilda? My assumption is that MK2 X2 is better, but I havent ever given them a fair comparison test.
  5. I'd appreciate links for the map credits, as well as the statement by Treyarch saying that they outsource maps to other departments. Saying evidence exists, and providing it are two entirely different creatures.
  6. I'd like to point out that there are some key differences between MotD and Origins. Especially in Map Layout. However weaponry and many other things differ too. Origins is no more a MotD clone, than every BO1 zombies map was a clone of Der Riese. Also, IT WAS NEVER STATED THAT THE CAMPAIGN TEAM MADE MotD OR Origns. That was a rumor that was started and never squashed. There is no official statements anywhere saying that our normal zombies team was not involved with the creation of these maps.
  7. I don't use PHD often either, although I LOVE deadshot, purely for the ability to quick lock on to the Panzer's head in the event I don't have a lot of spare ammo, or worse, don't have a high power piercing weapon. Even with MP40, Deadshot makes quick work of the Panzer. However, MMX had described to me an interesting method he uses of running around the bottom of the excavation site where he utilizes PHD quite frequently.
  8. Fin. Nice little puzzle. I think it could have been a little tougher though... maybe a double cipher? ;)
  9. I definitely think this is worth researching. It seems oddly useless for solo, generally the zombies teams do something about that (like with quick revive). I also think it is worth researching if any of the staves other than the Ice staff can interact with the environment. What I mean, the Ice Staff can be used once every so often to put out the flaming wagons to receive a free zombie blood. So, is there something that can be done with the other 3 staves, or is Ice unique in that regard? Good luck. I do hope we find something interesting!
  10. Complicated versus jacked... MMX seems to have believed he solved the puzzle with his partially cyclical semi-omnipotent Samantha theory. It has just about as much evidence as some of the other more abstract theories in the universe. It doesn't require an alternate universe, just a decent understanding of non-linear time.
  11. huh, interesting. Some one really should go through an confirm what the exact cause is. Right now it's looking like upgraded staves?
  12. I said it before, when you kill them with the staves, have they already destroyed one generator?
  13. PM the staff with the user's name, and info about their sig. Mods can (and hopefully will...), informally warn the user, formally warn the user, and possibly ban the user if they are out of line. Also they can move the info the Bob, who can actually change the sig. Admins can, do all the above, and actually change the sig. They could also make the rule more lax if they don't feel like enforcing it... You can, PM staff, PM the Admin, or PM the user and POLITELY, tell them what rule they've violated. watch your language. You don't want them to be able to claim flaming or harassment.
  14. I hadn't heard the staff part before. I had heard that they won't drop a max ammo if you don't kill them before they finish attacking their first target generator. I do swear I've gotten ammo with a staff, but I could be imagining it. I'll have to give it a test later.
  15. I'd take it without question and run...
  16. You have to stay standing on the metal platform. If you leave that, it'll start to drain rather than charge. So if you turn it on, and walk too far away to knife a zombie it will shut down almost immediately after.
  17. I could be wrong, but I believe that was the one I submitted to an Origins Tip of the Day thread. Seeing as I'm probably the only one here with the actual positions on hand, I think that doesn't need to be argued over. The positions are: When referring to which way a switch is pointing, I am talking about the flat edge opposite the angled edge. At Spawn: To the left At Tank Station (Gen 2): Pointing down In workshop: Pointing Up (It ALWAYS Spawns in the correct position. If you have tp change it to make it point Up, then you are using the wrong side of the switch as the pointing side) Back of Excavation site (by church path): Pointing Up By Wind tunnel/ Gen 4: Pointing Up By Gen 5: Pointing Down Church Basement: To the Right Church Main floor: Pointing Up
  18. Well... this is random. Why would this be here? The jump scares in MotD correlated to the cyrstal skull locations, correct?
  19. The scremo is Elena. Kevin writes it in as a seperate line, but to be heard simulatenously with the previous. Clark does the low raspy type thing heard through out, along with a few out right singing phrases. The closest thing Clark does to scremo is when he shouts "yeah!" accompanied by Elena Scremo version. I can promise you, Clark doesn't do the scremo heard in Archangel.
  20. Welcome to CoDz! Been a long time since I've responded to an intro... not that that mattes to you or anyone else. Even though I'm not really old, I like to think of myself as such, so that's why I tend to ramble here and there. If you need any help understanding things with the forum be sure to ask help from myself, or any of the wonderful staff members here at CoDz. Most of the users here also wouldn't mind helping as well I'm sure, but I can't exactly speak for them. Best of luck with your browsing of these forums, and happy slaying!
  21. Or have both you and your friend sign in a guest 2nd controller. when you ready up, be readyto sign out the guest account as soon as you hear the beeping for the countdown timer. It takes a bit to get the timing down right. Too early and others can still join, too late and the game will error and send you to the main menu due to a login status change. Or, just ask two people to leave your lobby after the countdown starts. Friends can help more, but sometimes randoms are nice about this.
  22. I don't mind split screeners in-game, simply because I rarely intend a serious game with randoms. I often get bored with randoms after an hour or two anyways, and I'll end up killing myself if I become the last one up. However I dislike splitscreeners that leave their xbox. I've seen it a few times on BO2, but I swear it was relatively common on BO1. You'd go into a lobby with two people, sometimes obvious split screeners, sometimes not, and after waiting and readying up they still do not move. 5 minutes and 3 other randoms come and go, then you finally bail, only to get inserted back in that lobby. One person leaving their xbox floating around public lobbies is bad, but a two player pair doing the same thing is just annoying.
  23. As one who follows the zombie storyline should know... Things aren't always as they seem. There's a big difference between a character's plans, and what actually ensues. We can't be sure either of their endings worked the way they would have been aiming for.
  24. Very well said MMX. Correlations can and do exist. But crass generalizations, and rude behavoir resulting from them are never excusable. When it comes to something as dynamic as human behavior, and something as trivial as cooperation in a semi-co-op style game, you definitely have no real right or excuse to be so judgemental about others based on whether they meet your "mic check" standards. Especially when your generalization causes you to take action that strictly counteracts your ability to justify your actions, ie: Micless or silent mics are terrible players and you can bet they will box whore, kill steal, and rage quit. Because of this, I no longer ready up unless everyone talks. this makes it impossible for you to ever prove yourself right or wrong, because you won't give others a chance.
  25. Why not just play solo if you don't want to co-op? Don't think I've ever played a good game of Zombies without mics. If there's a guy in the party without a mic you can bet your ass he's going to steal all your early round kills, not open any doors, raid the box every time he gets 950 pts , then drop out on round 12 because you couldn't get to him to revive him because he's decided to camp on the other side of the map from the rest of you. Don't even ready up these days unless everyone has a mic and is talking. That is the most flawed BS I've ever read. How would you know if micless randoms were that bad? You just said you don't ready up unless everyone is talking. You had a few bad experiences, and then decided to judge ALL micless randoms based on what I'm betting is less than 1% of the micless players, AND you refuse to gather any more data, or to verify your hypothesis? I'm not quite following why you believe yourself to be the one who is "right" in this situation
