  1. I first played WAW around 1 month ago. I'd played it only for customs before that. Having just played MW3 campaign, after replaying BO1 I can say it kicked both their arses. Favorite moment - storming those last steps, can't remember the mission name. Man that was intense. Most satisfying moment - killing that sniper on Veteran. I know for a fact I could never have beaten him with a controller. my aim is so bad it's not even funny. One of the things that I liked about the whole of the campaign from WAW was the music. Damn it got you pumped up.
  2. Seriously dude that's one of the most ridiculous and arrogant things I've ever heard on here.
  3. Back in the day, Mix, myself, Eye and Phantom had a skype group called the batcave. After NML came out, we spent hours talking about this mode. That group is one of the main reasons that I became good at NML. When I first started my YT channel, @MixMasterNut was one of the most helpful people I knew. I sent him a fair few private videos, asking for his professional opinion on how the editing and music was and he always got back to me with an honest opinion. He only knew me a little from this site at the time, and I'll never forget that. It's things like this that make Chris such a cool dude.
  4. Seriously deserved guys. @MixMasterNut @Tac @PINNAZ @Matuzz You were all completely unanimous, I don't think I can add more that.
  5. Look at all that Yellow/Gold!

  6. Lots of new members posting intros, it's really great. Welcome to the site mate. Chat is restricted until you have made 5 posts. Respond to a few other people's intros and you'll be in
  7. I'm ok with a DLC similar to Rezurrection. But if we get the 3rd iteration of Nacht/DR etc on another engine as 'THE' new content for zombies, then I will be returning the game. All the fun for me comes when a map first comes out, and we have to work out the best strategies for it. They are already done for all those maps. About the only original map which new strategies could be written for is Verruckt, and that would only be if a new wonder weapon was added and they added PAP too.
  8. Some new HoFs being discussed, going to add some new guys very soon

DBZ, most of them carried over from the old forum. They made their impact early. Their content did not carry over.

    Hello zk

Thank you ... Am I right in thinking when I can see someone's details (e.g.) xbox gamertag They are saying its OK to add them. Or would it be recommended to contact them first on the site Thanks again .. Oh.. and the chat ? i cannot or do not have Access ? I'll check with the guys about the chat issue. If someone posts their tags, generally they will accept most invites if they come from CODZ. Make sure to say that in the message though, I personally never accept any requests without some kind of personal introduction. If you want to find teams, create requests in teammate finder. If you want to find people to play with, get involved in threads on the site. There's a variety of ages and types of people and players on here, easy to find who you want to play with once you have a few discussions with them.
  11. Just DLing Wolfenstein New Order - 40gbs. When I lived in Australia that was my total monthly allowance. I so want to go back but it's stuff like that stopping me!

I'm really excited about this game mate and I can't remember the last time I was like that. Never really played any FPS outside zombies but been on the old COD campaigns and enjoying those changed my mind about the genre.

      DeathBringerZen

I was the same. Having been a huge Wolfenstein/Doom/ID fan I had to get it and the story, visuals and gameplay did not let me down. The only disappointing thing was that early in the game you can make a decision that splits the game into two paths. Unfortunately the different paths did not change enough in the game to warrant two run throughs, but damn is it not a great game regardless.

Amazing game, very low replay-ability, I suggest you chose to save mini-hypermole.

  12. My comment was a little lazy I suppose, but it's exactly as I felt when I read the list. What I would like in zombies is similar to what Bennets said. Some punkier stuff, make each map sound unique. Even stuff like Arctic Monkeys. Kaiser Chiefs, Oasis - could all be awesome in zombies. Some orchestral rock would work. Please no more death or trash metal, whatever it's called. That noise.
  13. That list of band names in the OP truly and utterley disturbs me. Most of th he songs too. Glorification of death is just too cool for me.
  14. Get the pitch forks ready guys and I'll stoke the bonfire. I'll take infrequent downtime every time if it means regular housekeeping.
  15. I love this concept, would be awesome as a mode......I like the idea of more modes within zombies as a whole - not just one flavour, maybe 3 different flavours. One straight up, one with buildables and some of the things Matuzz suggested, maybe a mode where you can configure tons of these options. Like Clay said - that original progression of working the points, doors, weapons and your strategy. Origins is like a sterile mess of a setup, Buried is even worse as you get all your points and can do everything on round 1!!! Just not true zombies to me. If you insist on having that kinda start available, be it via bank (Buried/Die Rise etc) or highly complex (Origins, MOTD), have an option to not have to do that stuff. Have an option to not have to find 3 shield parts every game when you have done it many times before. Try and have as many options and ways to play available to us. I understand that you can't please everyone, and trying to do too much could ruin the game but some options seem so easy to have in there - like an option for buildables - built / parts need finding. That's it, one option means those that want to always find the parts can, and those that are sick of doing it over and over again don't have to.
  16. I'm going to get this set as our featured topics - I'd like to see all your ideas for the new Treyarch zombies to end up in here, so Treyarch know where to look for the best suggestions Hope the title change is ok @Matuzz
  17. This has been discussed a fair few times in the past. I'd love for it to happen, just not sure it will or can. I'll explain what I believe could make it work and practical to do. Let's assume that they put an entire team from Treyarch on creating a zombies only game, or zombies dedicated game. There's a good reason I say dedicated; I don't believe the game could be made without some aspect of MP in it. There just isn't the market for a AAA zombies only game, but I believe there could be as mentioned above. Zombies came from COD; a niche turned into something huge. CS:GO was a half life mod, which turned into something huge. For this to work, there needs to be the MP aspect in there for the more casual players to buy into. From a business perspective, without that Treyarch just can't risk it. They need 12 maps. The maps need to have been designed in collaboration between the MP team, and the zombies team. Zombies team are designing the udead slaying aspect, MP team are ensuring the maps are feasible for MP gameplay - to me, this is mainly about the angles they create. It needs a lockable and scaleable mission aspect for both MP and zombies. I have too many ideas on this to dump them all here, so I'll try and keep it short. 3 levels of storyline. Level 1 is mainly for the MP guys - get to say round 10 on the first map, unlocks MP for it and then the next map. Level 2 is for the slayers out there, but not the truly dedicated. Round 30/40 needs to be reached to reach the next map, and continue the storyline. Level 3 is for the hardcore - once you beat round 50 or 60, everything is unlocked (including anything you have 'built' already available). Level 2 would be repeatable, as it's mainly story focused. Maybe there could be some options in here for turning perks on or off. Level 3 would be my favorite option - everything turned off, everyone's level, record attempting mode. I've said a few times, I'm cool with them adding buildables and what not, but when I've built the Ice staff 30 times already that week, not sure I need to do it again. I can expand all aspects of this with my own ideas, but I'd love to hear yours.
  18. @Nightmare Voyager congrats mate most deserved me thinks.
  19. Media centre for random videos, I'm cool with general zombies for particular videos though. For questions I'd ask in general zombies. There are some hard rules around it in the CoC but it's common sense applied. If you're an active member you get away with a little more :)
  20. Change of gaming habits recently - loving WAW and BO campaign, and playing Kingdom Rush Origins on Nexus.

  21. Buried camping. Looking at some old unlisted videos I found this and thought of this thread. Imagine this but with 4 people. Very feasible, fun and hectic camping.
  22. For solo play in order. Round 3 - Thompson. Rounds 8-15 - keep hitting box until I have Waffe and Ray Gun. Get Mule Kick. Buy Thompson. Strategy is basically stay in the Thompson room until round 40. Once I get to 40, I'd spend an hour doing the following which sets me up for 100 if I so wish - I do this purely for the points. so I can be lazier later on. To round 30 takes between 35 minutes and 45 minutes, depending on the box (my record is 33 minutes, world record is 32 minutes). Der Riese is probably the most fun original map just because of the thompson room.
