Good overview on the Monkey Bomb, friendo! These are some great lists of how the item can be utilized to its max advantages, and even some disadvantages when using it. It's probably not the best time to use it when getting caught somewhere (because 7/10 times you won't throw it in time). Also, throwing it far across the map can yield some great effects actually. For instance, I'll hurl a Monkey Bomb over the house - since I'm usually in the backyards - and it will land either in front of the opposite house or in the other yard. A properly placed Monkey Bomb can save the whole team extra time to revive one another or get situated with perks once more.

Hm, very nice insight into this friendo! I have never seen any sign of reflexology in Die Rise, but I will be sure to check this out definitely. I think the room could've been reference a medical or physical therapist center somewhere nearby. After all, it is a hotel/"International Zombie Center"; I would figure that there'd be some kind of medical hospitality area somewhere. But a connection to this and the perk drinks...my my, what an interesting observation!

It's just a coincidence that there are two power towers within the poster. Besides, this image has been around for a long time; it would even be fair to assume that the explosion came first, followed by the two pylons. Those (like yourself) who recall this poster have began to found a connection between Group 601 and the Black Ops II zombie storyline. -

Friendos, please refrain from arguing. I know you each are seeing this topic on different ends of the spectrum, but any personal implications should be taken out via PMs or elsewhere. It's disappointing to see such great and thoughtful minds collide with one another. The way I see it, ETEI2NAL did rely on GRILL's Lake Vostok threads to create his theory about a plausible Antarctica map. There is little to no in-game proof to further prove this. While zombo is right about in-game validation being very resourceful and credible as a source, not all theories related to zombies require such a thing. Sometimes, you have to think outside the box when there are no instructions to follow. In a nutshell, you are both correct to a certain extent. But let's not fight about how a zombie theory should be maintained, yes? Back to the topic of Antarctica: Would that mean we'd technically be able to access deserted Nazi stations underneath the ice and possibly further to explain more about this strange civilization known as the Vril-ya? Could you say that it may tie in to learning more about the dark entity within the MPD/Aether? -

Ah, allow me to take a crack at your long post, friendo. From what we know, the Fernsehturm was constructed between 1965 and 1969. Kino der Toten displays an almost completed structure, so you are correct in saying that our timeline would be concisely 1967/1968. When we look at Ascension (which happens a the same time of FIVE), I would count that as late 1962 or early 1963 since the Cuban Missile Crisis occurs in October of 1962 [note]. The dates do not match up. People have actually talked about Kino der Toten taking place in a whole different dimension. In such a way, that it doesn't necessarily exist in our timeline. I don't want to fully believe such a concept, but we might as well take that into consideration. I have a feeling that perhaps this is the only instance where past travel was possible. To answer the Samantha whereabout question, Richtofen was not there to see Samantha take control in the Aether. He locked Maxis and Samantha in the room with the Hellhound and all three took the MTD straight to Moon (Griffin Station). At that moment, he only surmised their deaths. Fluffy went missing, Maxis was killed - only to be sucked into the station's mainframe- and Samantha was teleported directly into the MPD. Upon arriving in Kino, Richtofen questions where Samantha disappeared to since his team at Griffin Station did not physically see Samantha anywhere, but heard her voice. Nobody made it out alive to tell Richtofen that she took control in the Aether. In other words, Richtofen actually did not know what became of Samantha since he knew she was not dead (the zombies, Fly Trap Easter Egg, etc). The order in which the maps are seen in are more than likely as you state. It's confusing as to how the crew arrives in the Russian Cosmodrome on Lunar Landers, yet comes into Call of the Dead via teleporter. Something happened that we are not fully seeing here. Agreed - Richtofen seeks more power through the Black Ops II Easter Eggs. Maxis desires the same thing, of course. I still don't think that Richtofen is capable of time travel, but just rather simple teleporting of a human from one location to another. If he did have the power to go forward/back in time, couldn't he go back and generally stop Maxis from launching the rockets? I know that scenario has been repeatedly played out, but it would make logical sense. Plus, Moon was not too long ago from finishing Tranzit's Easter Egg, yes? The Earth as a whole was probably not decimated; some locations still survived and were not hit as hard. But if I was to run a company that manufactured devices, I wouldn't continue after my planet was hit by missiles, that's for sure. And the reason that can only conclude this is that Moon and Nuketown Zombies actually occurred AFTER the 1980's - perhaps even a little into the future of our present. That means progressively after 2011 from Call of the Dead. We never did verify the date and time for Moon. I would bet my money that Moon onwards takes place in the near future.

That was actually discussed in the podcast (which people have not been listening to lately :cry: ). But basically, the concept was alluding to the Bus Driver in Tranzit and further explained how he is a very unique robot. The article states the difference between that of a pre-programmed robot, and a quantum robot. To better explain this, they used IF and THEN statements. With a robot, the circumstances it performs an action under determines whether an instance happens or not. So IF something occurs, THEN it will react. The thing is, the IF part must be static and never changing. The quantum robot, however, can determine a change in its surrounding and adapt to it with a new set. IF something happens, THEN it will complete its originally designed task. When IF does not happen, it will re-program itself to perform a new action so the THEN claim can be true. Here is an example: Robot A is a regular robot, and Robot B is a quantum robot. They are both used to process apples into a container. Robot A only knows how to send the apples from the output machine to the container, and will do so. If a bad apple comes, it will not recognize it and deliver it right into the pile of good apples. Robot B, however, can process the apples AND check if they are good. If they are good, they go into the container. If not, then they throw them out. Why do I bring this up? Because we have one robot that is very similar to our model quantum robot - the Bus Driver. Not only is he programmed to drive the bus around to different locations while naming off the local stops and passing areas, but he can also determine what is going on outside and even has some interesting human-like characteristics in him. How he became so integrated in our reality to act very similar to a typical human being, is questionable. What we now know, however, is that he is indeed a quantum robot with very little limits on interaction and human understanding.

Great strategy, friendo! I've been paying close attention to various other topics in which you posted about the drops being more beneficial than a few extra bullets into the zombies. I've been trying to stray away from the ol' extra bullet strategy and I found your setups to be wonderful. Can't wait to try this one out! :)

Part of me wants to believe that we have never truly traveled back in time, nor do we posses the power to. I know that sounds like a far-fetched idea, but bear with me for a few seconds here. We know that we can travel forward in time via teleporters or "magic" from the Aether. But are we 100% sure that we can also be sent back in time? Allow me to start off with World at War: Map Time Direction Possible Outputs Nacht der Untoten - ? Verruckt → Shi No Numa Shi No Numa → Der Rise Der Riese → Kino der Toten Kino der Toten → Ascension, Call of the Dead FIVE (Same) Ascension (Same) Ascension Ascension → Call of the Dead, Shangri-la Call of the Dead → Shangri-la Shangri-la → Moon, Ascension Moon → Green Run Nuketown (Same) Moon (Same) Moon Green Run ? Great Leap Forward Great Leap Forward ? ? *Known as the present in both game and real-life dimension *Relatively close proximity of time and date The order in which the maps are listed signifies the given arrangement of how we obtained them. The arrows represent the time direction based on the order we were presented with regarding the map distribution. Possible outputs suggest not only what map came next as a result in the storyline, but also what map it could have led to according to how we arrive in a particular setting and the current situation our playable crew is facing. As you can see, we have three maps that work around this concept of multiple outputs. Different dimensions? Possible; we know it exists (ala Earth and the Aether). The reason I point this out is to better determine the time origin of Green Run as well as Great Leap Forward. From this table (IF we were to follow it), we can only progress forward to the future. This being said, Great Leap Forward is our very nearest future - possibly near or after 2025. If we assume that we are well-past Call of the Dead [2011] but before Great Leap Forward [~2025], then we are somewhere in the middle or within close distance to GLF. We know Moon occurs right as Nuketown occurs, which happens very little before the events in Green Run unfold. We could argue whether there is actual power in the Aether to bend and distort time so much as to teleport the N4 to the future. Richtofen being unable to "mend the rift" currently bolsters this concept of limited time power. That being said, I'd put my money of Green Run occurring perhaps at least 2025 given that we never really went forward to Great Leap Forward; but rather though space.

Hm, not a bad way to look at the tables' usefulness. But we've already scoped out the various possibilities for the newly introduced guns, and the tables seem to do nothing. Even if inserting a new DLC does any changes, why would you overpower the weapon that is associated with the Easter Egg? The Jet Gun has no 115 in it, yet the Sliquifier already contains it. To upgrade it further would make small sense since they are powerful enough as it is. Maybe explain better in what way they could be integrated into the storyline? Nevertheless, good perspective! :)

MW3, I'm surprised about. I felt that the Multiplayer really lacked; why in the Aether would anyone want to go back to such a flop? Black Ops, I can understand because of playing all the favorite zombie maps and ridiculously skimmed Multiplayer. Once the next DLC rolls in for Black Ops II, expect the numbers to go up in thousands.

Hm, very good point friendo. Perhaps because Green Run especially has differed away from the comic book look so we can see it from a different storyline perspective...? We have postcards, and I can't help but recall how the Bus Driver lists different locations (of which are primarily top-secret government facilities). It's as if the post card look is supposed to symbolize that kind of "Green Run is just one of many places we can visit" situation.

Treyarch does have their plot scripted from the get-go. That is, they already have a well-thought out layout for the next map, what new things will be installed on their, and how it integrates itself into the storyline. Usually, we usually our comments, theories, and ideas come along at least 2-3 maps ahead of time if we're lucky. It's not like they'd do a complete 180 just for us lovely friendos. How? Why? When? Vril-Ya. How can they breathe? We know Brock and Gary TREKKED there previous to the map. Therefore, Shangri-La is NO LONGER in Mars. People talk about how it was in Mars, but in actuality the evidence, should you choose to believe it, dictates Shangri-La WAS on Mars, not is. This is true. If we were to assume that Shangri-la was on Mars at one point, we'd have to propose that the original location of it was Earth, then transported to Mars. Or, you could say that it originated from Mars, but then moved to Earth. If you move a whole biosphere - or perhaps an ecosystem - then you can make everything work to a given instance. Thing of it like a small hamster ball in the middle of a desert. The only things that are occurring are within that said ball, and not around it. Then again, one could argue that it never did truly occur. Treyarch could just be teasing us for claiming that Shangri-la happens on Mars when the O4 come into play.

I think Treyarch was just misleading us with a play on words. It's basically what you said - the Sliquifier is new, and we still have the Ray Gun to upgrade. There is now point in upgrading the Sliquifier since it already is a one-hit-kill weapon. What more could it really improve on?

Tranzit being the broken arrow reference in die rise

Green Run was born out of the Green Run project back in 1949. The U.S. government occupied the small town known as White Bluffs - a.k.a. Hanford - because it was well deserted at the time and would be perfect for unleashing the chemical elements into the air. The sign can't point to a general location, or at least not to that of Great Leap Forward. In none of that text did I see any mention of the sign's importance to all of this. It's a different perspective to think things over though. :) -
How many points could you get on round 1?

From what I can re-collect, you can earn roughly 1620 if you do 7 bullets and one knife. You can unload the remaining bullets into the legs of a zombie, which may earn you perhaps 120 points. That would equal somewhere close to 1740 at best (unless you hae been shooting in the leg this whole time). -

Technically, all the maps under those particular categories have all the maps. The reason why Tranzit and Die Rise are on this category instead of the others is because they are modes, not maps themselves. Of course, the forum will be re-organized so the forum order is not permanent. -
+1 If you plan on camping it out with a few teammates (or even buy yourself), the SVU is the perfect weapon to clear out some zombies. That is, if you can land a few headshots. Training with such a weapon can be kind of a trap when not done correctly. In fact, I'm quite certain un Pack-a-Punched, one bullet can shoot through at least 3 heads up til beyond Round 16. If you want a perfect comb, try having that SVU plus the AN-94 and Sliquifier. Fun times, galore.

Hm, quite an interesting theory, friendo! I hope you don't mind explaining how this can tie in to our current Black Ops II storyline beside "a tower is involved"? Explain beyond it if you can; I'd like to see where this may lead to. :) -
It's because nobody has the time to research. It's not that hard to read up on some old topics or search new information to make a point. The general consensus, however, feels that their opinion should stand above all and that their logic comes before anyone else's. It's one thing to argue, but it's another thing to debate. That's the perception of what a theory is. Don't let anyone stop you in continuing your research.
