  1. Relax this is just the same as survival in MW3.... Just something that fails to stand up to zombies and will likely grow Boreing after the first 2 weeks... Chances are you're not fighting aliens... It sounds like a new mode where you fight a mob of terrorist as the last "ghosts" alive, doomed to fall but not yet!
  2. Imagine if the characters fazed in and out of time and space like the MOTD perks... LOL
  3. but that would require a stand-alone game with every multi-player fan screaming their heads off... Which is what cod is about...
  4. I have no issue with PHD in die rise, the only thing it would save you from would be jumping down tall shafts, and still only if there was an elevator below...
  5. Except they haven't because we have no idea which side of the story is canon.... Richtofen and maxis can't both be the demonic announcer when BO3 starts so... That leaves us with three options: Create a common ending, like the storyline from my countdown post, where the map takes place in the future with a half-dead richtofen in control (maxis was thrown out of aether and burned up from sheer power, richtofen couldn't Handel the mysterious "white flash" that seared the earth either, but because he had a physical body he maintained small amounts of life-force energy...) Start off BO3 with a choice: Join maxis or richtofen on the first map, where whoever you choose will be the outcome of the previous map.... (buried) Ditch the storyline entirely and start again from scratch-lets not even go there....
  6. Well, there would be no PHD in die rise, but tranzit I can see... I wonder if it will come to the survival maps as well.... No QR in MOTD and Im not sure what they would do with nuketown.... Motd could really use Mule kick and PHD, as those are both really useful perks for the layout of the very-slanted and wall-amo-spread map...
  7. Now lets switch this list arround a bit: Melee: -Place a Spoon into a pool of blood an get kills with a specific weapon in a specific room. -Fill chests up with zombies souls. Can also upgrade with elemental properties. Tactical: -Feed the heads of Cerberus; upgrade by getting kills on the golden gate bridge. -Cleanse an ancient tablet in holy water Special Weapon: -Collect skulls using the previously acquired tomahawk. Upgrade using a buildable acid kit. -Collect pieces scattered through out the map using several different methods. Solve various puzzles/challenges to upgrade. Pack-a-Punch: -Build a flippin plane! -Keep six generators powered. Hidden Areas: -Build a plane and take the skies to only crash on a bridge. -Locate a specific record to open a portal to another realm Boss: -Fast Zombie that can only be killed by headshots -Fast Zombie that can only be killed by headshots; who can take way more damage and has a flamethrower and a scorpion claw. True Similarities: -Buildable screen -Dynamic music -Nolan North Uhhh... Melee weapon MOTD: Get kills in a specific area with a specific weapon. Tactical weapon Origins: Get kills with a specific weapon in a specific area. Then move to do the same thing again. Tactical weapon MOTD: Kill zombies in a few specific areas marked by odd entities that will disappear when full. Melee weapon Origins: Kill zombies in a few specific areas marked by odd entities that will disappear when full. Upgrade weapon MOTD: Build a device to help you! Obtain weapon in Origins: Build it Obtain weapon in MOTD: Complete relative tasks to obtain your new WW for free! Upgrade weapon in Origins: Complete tasks to charge your weapon to max capacity so it upgrade's it's self. Bosses MOTD: Turn off perks, releases huge guy with a weapon to attack you up front, may disappear and re-appear if you're too far away. Bosses OriginsL:Turn off perks, releases huge guy with a weapon to attack you up front, may disappear and re-apear if you're too far away... And to MAM who said every map is like der reise... You know what I mean, there is a significant diffrence between der reise and moon, unlike MOTD and origins...
  8. Because nuking the earth to hell is a horrible ending to the zombies season  You are making so many flaws in your reasonings: NML: A good thing Low gravity isn't annoying, its quite entertaining! If you're just havving issues getting out of the spawn room don't blame the game... Casmonauts arn't buggy, it's the gersh devices that glitch them out, this would happen to any map with gersh devices, which are too cool to say that they don't suck (see what I did there?) If you're unable to grab a hacker and coordinate your team to teleport to the earth and back to shut off an excavator, that again is your issue, not the game's fail. How does it glitch out? You grab it, or split it, there shouldn't be any issue there, supply evidence... Points weren't constrained, you are trying to advance too swiftly, if you had gotten enough points at NML there would be no issue! Also the knife is in an interesting new location with high difficult to achieve, and it's not necessary either, once again, you're problem. All in all the map was a bit easy, but it was fun. Easy doesn't automatically mean bad, just look at MOTD and buried! SO, looking back all I see is a great map and a person too caught up in their own problems with their own glitches to appreciate the map... When I no-lifed moon before my BO broke I never ONCE had any issue with anything other then the gersh device and the cosmonaut... And I can still say moon is the greatest map TO DATE! And to say BO1 sucked because of one map? Oh well then yeah sure, I guess the introduction of new wonder weapons, four new epic perks, eight new zombie types, a rewarding set of easter eggs, and the ability to play as the REAL O4, rage, proverbs, madness, vodka and all, just means it all sucked....
  9. You do realize origins is just a harder version of MotD right? That's where a good 70% of the mechanics came from...
  10. Matter can not be destroyed or created, only transformed....
  11. The drop system is a bit messed up when there's more then 5 drops: Tranzit: Carpenter, double points, insta-kill, max amo, nuke, points drop at specific times, Die rise: Same+ perk bottle at specific times -points drop at specific times MOTD: Fire sale, but no carpenter! Balances out... Buried: Carp. DP. IK. Nuke, Max amo, FIRE SALE, perk drop at specific times, points drop at specific times. Origins: Insta kill, double points, max amo, zombie blood, fire sale, upgraded element-punch AST, point drops AST, empty perk bottle AST, staffs AST, Beacons AST In origins it's even worce then Buried... It also has something to do with richtofen's easter egg side...
  12. You and I both... But the fact remains, zombies is zombies, not spend hours building/upgrading staffs, beacons, and other pointless things like that... It's designed for one to spend hours like that.... IT was easier in BO because one could just use the zeus cannon forever, now it's SUCH a long drawn-out chore to get through rounds as WW no longer do infinite damage...
  13. No way, black ops one held all those titles, where as BO 2 only gave us greif, turned, and buildables...
  14. Ah that just cleans right off does it? Well that would have been good to know.. LITTLE EARLIER... >_
  15. Moon was the greatest map ever, there was no tedious things there... It was get a gun, get a suit, survive. Easter eggs were fairly simple and generally easy to accomplish... Not to mention you had SICK low grav. effects, air issues to deal with if you were experienced enough, excavators that needed teamwork to shut down, an epic no-mans-land area for when one just needs a couple points. The WWs were amazing, the hacker was amazing, the EVERYTHING was top-notch epic! Absolutely NO complaints I can see, if there were bugs that's because all the sick things that were added needed a bit of a tune up... Where as Tranzit, and ESPECIALLY Origins were filled with pointless little tasks involving boring piece-gathering and seemingly unrelated tasks to power the tower/staffs... I mean honestly: There is no reason one would need to break tombstones to get a better ice staff or direct the path of smoke differently, trayarch just need us to do SOMETHING to upgrade those staffs... Call of duty Black ops 1 gave us -115 (song) -kino, -all the original zombie maps again with mule kick - actual rewards for doing the easter eggs (gamer pics) -accumulative EE completely epic, moderately difficult, and worth it. Where as here doing the easter eggs is UNBELIEVABLY TAXING with that last buried step (If you didn't have the right team there WAS NO DOING IT), and what was your reward? ONE game of either more-drops or Mule kick plus with permanent fire sale... -It gave us the best wonder weapons ever: Thunder gun, gersh device, Baby-maker, Wave gun! -More focus on a better storyline Then BO2 came out with: Origins was just a harder version of MOTD, total disappointment... Tranzit which was taxing and unrewarding as hell... Die rise which was also not rewarding considering one could just get all perks from the jumpers, MOTD which is a good map, fun and easy, and no real complaints, Nuketown: A nice map but if you don't get jug those first 12 rounds you will be 2x slapped down!, and buried which was nice easy, but super hard in the easter egg department... Then there were the stupid new system additions: Perma perks: Fail, Custom games: NOBODY uses these... Especially for the actual maps, it would have just been better to have a private match setting... Bank system: Op-to-the-max... No no no... Black op one was INFINITELY better then Bo2...
  16. With 3 gens of maps to make nostalgia from i wont be surprised if we see some remakes of simple maps like town, kino, or any WAW map...
  17. MMx: Purgatory is different in almost every belief, In this case I believe the actual purgatory is the opening cutscene, where everything is normal until Fergison is killed by weasel- the only member to not make a specific sin. After that the descend into hell: Where the zombies/demons are... Die rise isn't set in hell because there's no violence in purgatory until a wrongful decision is made, which in die rise, there is no decision, you just start killing zombies. The fact richtofen has the power to send someone back is a different power entirely explained by two things: 1: Richtofen simply has power over life-force... simple... No issues. 2: While these four are here, another group of richtofen's are at buried and richtofen KNOWS they will fail him... SO instead of waisting human resources, he has them place a time-bomb before the 4 arrive, and has them detonate it after the N4 die, resetting time across the globe, and putting forth the possibility of new outcomes. This tactic of his is "limited" because he only has so many people to sacrafise before the time bomb-tactic is useless... By this means we can actually theorize a stray time-bomb placed sense the beginning of tranzit is how the crew got from buried to tranzit: Other people place time bomb in buried. Meanwhile the N4 are: Power tower TRANZIT die at die rise TIME BOMB Power tower DIE RISE Power tower BURIED collect buried nav-card find time bomb left over from the others activate time bomb to be sent back to transit, where they then place the nav card in again, repeating the cycle from tranzit to buried twice! THEN a single tower can be powered.... Pinnaz: MMx makes a valid point: There is no escape... Sinario 1: Weasel and co. never resurrects their bodies---> Cycle restarts, the 3 lose their memories... Sinario 2: Weasel and co. get eaten by zombies ----> Cycle restarts, 3 lose their memories... Sinario 3: Weasel gets dragged back to hell by the three----> Cycle restarts, 3 lose memories.... Sinario 4: Weasel shoots the other three back to hell and ascends into a better place---> Cycle breaks, 3 are likely subject to a new punishment sense they failed their task... Weasel is forgiven... Sinario 4 is the only option in which the characters DON'T start back from the beginning.
  18. Slowing things down is referring to the game's recording of pointless things like gibs and miles traveled... All it does is slow down the systems running the game, not by much, but it does slow things down.
  19. Two theorys: We know the Mauser came from A maxis... But who's to say it was this one? Maybe the upgraded drawings are from the dimintion of better weapons.... And two: Purhaps this machine acts more like that vacuume energy thing from moon: A vacuume surrounding two parallel plates of the correct size and material with the right frequincy between them would create energy (used to fuel the golden rod on moon) now look at the PAP's interior: Three grooved wheels that push the weapon to the back of the machine... Purhaps with two plates this theory creates kasmire-related energy and with three wheels it creates a better weapon from simple energy-transfer, adding attachments as part of it being a machine... The bulits, golden spork, and other what-nots I assumed were powered by similar means: Putting a spork of the right material, shape and frequincy (from acidic build up in the air from the showers) in a vacuume of blood would help it gain aethieric energy, capible of YANKING a soul out of a body more effeciantly then simple murders... Same with the staffs. The bulits are also individually charged like this IMO...
  20. Juggernog, qr, phd, mule kick, speed cola, double tap and stamin up are what I get normally... Deadshot is a great perk but compleatly useless, and EC isnt going to help much past round 15.... So in reality, you only NEED to get two perk mounds... Also that zombie blood from the carts... Does that respawn every few rounds.. I remeber getting it twice in one game before.... If it does that helps with any mounds in the center, but doesn't help much with mounds at spawn.... Pitty... But then again there's always getting it the ol fashioned way or from the starting box...
  21. I had this same issue happen on Origins when I grabbed the ultimate wind staff DIRRECTLY after the upgraded fire staff... It was a solo game and I got the ultimate wizard acheivement...
