Origins EE "Little Lost Girl" Written Steps + Staffs
RdJokr replied to Ehjookayted's topic in Origins
Hmm, so the Elemental Staffs are made by Maxis... And there were earlier versions of it as well? So step 1, find gramophone and play. Step 2, build all 4 staffs. BTW, has anyone built the staffs yet? I wonder if it takes up a weapon slot or an equipment slot like the Jet Gun? -
Kevin Sherwood just released this on his youtube channel. Elena Siegman, Malukah and Clark S. Nova all on the same track. Lots of references to past tracks as well. EDIT: Treyarch has released a short music video for Archangel:

^ Well that's unexpected. BTW, are the buildables limited to specific workbenches like TranZit again? -

Speaking of musical, I'm pretty sure there was something listed in the scoreboards, under Equipment called Musical parts. Pretty sure it's not referring to the EE song, so what could it be? -
Found location of pack-a-punch machine... how do i activate?
RdJokr replied to killerussian's topic in Origins
From the earlier gameplay videos, it would seem that you have to activate all 6 generators around the map. -
Maybe because the account used to play during Treyarch's VIP show was a test account, so every map appeared as new.

Well, the DLC is going to be out in a few more hours, so I guess we can deduce something from gameplay. Hopefully we can get some nice footage without commentary. -

The scoreboard lists the 4 staffs as Quest Items, so I guess we have to use it to power up/destroy some things maybe? Kinda like using the Paralyzer to freeze the orbs in Buried. Most of the videos haven't shown the Excavation Area yet, which seems to be the one place that might progress the quest further. -
Might wanna mention that the Box seems to give random attachments to some of the guns. Like, there's an AK74u with Extended Clip, and an MP40 with Adjustable Stock. Not sure if that applies to other guns.

PS3/PC player? I feel ya... Yeah... It's all PC for me. The Panzer Soldat seems quite tough, like waaaaaaay tougher than Brutus. And that claw... Love the fact that everything here looks so new and fresh. Even the Mystery Box and PaP machine looks new. Also, seems like weapons from the Box now has random attachments or something? I could've sworn I saw an AK74u with Extended Clip...

Funny. The loading screen is drawn by Alex Ross, a well known comic artist... Coincidence? Or intentional?

Oh my god, those gameplays are fucking beautiful. Now I'm happy that the old actors are returning for this one... Although Richtofen sounds less insane, and Nikolai sounds less... drunk. September now seems so far away :(

Somebody does not know how to use the buried time-bomb glitch.... You will need:! Points, Galvas, And a time bomb. 1: Take out large amounts of points 2: place time bomb 3: put all points into the "share points" drop thingy using galvas. 4: hit time bomb 5: the drop will still be there and you will have all your points back, effectively DOUBLEING your total points at the time.... That's not exactly a glitch is it? Besides, it's not like everyone gets the time bomb on their first try. Also, I was referring to quests in general, not just Buried.

Dempsey was using the MG08, which will be in the map. No one can say for sure whether we can use Takeo's sword or Nikolai's axe, but my guess is we won't.
-
We won't know until tomorrow... But I don't see a need to change, at least for Dempsey and Takeo. Richtofen might need a change, but Nolan North can adapt, so I'm not worried. Same goes for Nikolai and Fred Tatasciore.

Personally, I don't think the bank is that bad. The quests are getting harder for the average players, so a little bit of help from the bank would be nice. Of course, we try not to rely on it too much, especially if it's just for pure survival. Also, to stack up money for the bank is pretty hard work, so I think of that as a reward.

"One possible view of how the zombies came to be" -Vahn

Somehow that last sentence reminded me of Black Ops 1's campaign, what with Mason hallucinating stuffs and shit... It would be really funny if it turns out that all this has been inside Maxis and Richtofen's heads all along, and they were just getting way too high on 115... -

We haven't seen any story-related bits from the map, so let's not jump to conclusions yet. Vahn maybe trying to throw us off. -
I think you're going too deep on this.

Apparently they wanna keep the session spoiler-free, so no Zombies. Shame. Ah well, Tuesday is just around the corner. There'll be plenty of gameplay then. And then another month of waiting till it hits PC...
-
It's a new trailer though, so new footage right? Who cares if it's a Replacers trailer?
-
It's sort of a long shot, since we don't exactly know what contents are in the journal of Pablo Marinus, and the diary Yuri was talking about. The only common thing is that they're about 115. But then, pretty much everything in Zombies has something to do with 115. Now unless Yuri explicitly stated something like "The diary that Dr. Richtofen held onto for so long", then you might be onto something. But with so few information right now, it's hard to say whether these two are the same.

So Zombie Blood is a perk-a-cola? Is that even safe to drink?
-
There would have to be like dozens of radios scattered around to be able to answer all these questions... Although in Custom Games, the box and the perk-a-colas are labeled as Magic, so I guess they're just magically there. If you want to be specific, then I guess someone from Hell created them
