  1. Shooting the wires doesn't make sense to me. Using 4 turbines, one at each set of sparking wires with 4 people. Now that makes sense to me. Closing the full circuit might trigger the doors to stay open or something. I'm having trouble getting 4 people to try it though.
  2. Yea I've noticed it. I've tried Semtex, Jetgun, and PaP war hammer. That egg can't be cracked lol
  3. Actually he's talking about the broken power towers that are over the road in a couple spots. I have tried interacting with these, even from on top of an EMP'd bus. They seem to me like they would make a good trap of some sort. Electrifying the 4 conductors could create an electric trap of sorts. I've honestly tried everything I can think of though to no avail. Even tried to turbine the sparking generator to jump the power over to the one going from the broken wall at power over the road. Notta. I'm willing to try any good ideas though but so far no dice.
  4. ^^^lol! I voted monkeys. I like Gersch for its teleport qualities but I prefer monkeys for the best meat sack attention grabber over all.
  5. I've done this a few times. Donated a couple random cash prizes just to watch them scurry to beat each other to it when they spawn lol.
  6. Positive note: I hooked up with 3 other guys the other night with no mics. We took it to round 35 without saying a word to each other. I flipped my mic on to say that if they wanted to pack a punch I was ready to throw a fan down for them. All 3 of them turned their mics on and said yes and thanks and then we all turned our mics back off and proceeded to round 43. Not one of us went down the entire game until then and other than saying thanks for opening PaP for them nobody said a word to each other the entire game. I often join a game with my mic off and just listen to see what people are doing. 9 times out of 10 I have the hatch in place and am waiting for them by the time they get to the diner on the bus, and then have the power on by the time they get to the power switch. If someone talks directly to me I'll flip my mic on and answer them but other than that I keep it off. I seem to play better with it off personally. Anyway. A couple annoying experiences: A guy I met and played with once before entered my game at like round 15 or so. He didn't have any money in his bank so I hooked him up with some coin with the Galvaknucks. He willingly took the 8 grand I gave him and then proceeded to jump on the bus (ignoring jug) got to the bridge, got overwhelmed and went down then disconnected from the game. I thought "wow there was 8 grand well spent" Another time I joined up with these guys that had it all figured out. They planned to stay in the first room till round 4. I humored them and stayed. Once out they hopped on the bus and I took off towards the tunnel. They didn't see me leave. They started talking shit about how dumb I was that I didn't know how to get out of the depot and now the bus was leaving me. When they got to the diner and I was standing there (hatch already in place) they were like wtf? How did you get here so quick? I jumped on the bus when they jumped off and got it moving. They were praying to the box gods and spending all their money as I took off alone on the bus. So they started bitching at me callin me a noob for not waiting around. Anyway, I hopped off at the farm and got my pap'd RPD out of the fridge then went on to turn the power on, grabbed jug, staminup, and 15 grand in cash. By the time I got back to the diner they were still there and freaking out. I jumped off and grabbed the knucks. They jumped on the bus and took off while I stayed and headed to the tunnel to bank some coin. Through their entire next lap they did nothing but bitch and complain about how much of a noob I was. I didn't say a word. Each time they got to a location I'd hear wtf the doors already open or the powers already on. When they got to the town they got pissed because the doors to the bar were open and they wanted to do the barrier glitch. They started saying they mise well quit and blah blah blah so I started running back to town to get my 20 grand in the bank before they did something stupid. I got to the bank right before the vault and they all disconnected. Now the reason this is so long is just to explain and show how I opened the entire map for them, did everything for them in the time it took them to tap out the box hoping to get a good gun. I used an M16 and the bowie knife mostly. They were so focused on trying to do a glitch to get high rounds that they couldn't even hang to try to survive without it. All the money spent, plus the money I earned got wasted because these noobs just have to glitch to make it anywhere in this game. And this experience was the most frustrating out of them all. Pet peeves: Guys who rush to pick up the hatch and immediately throw it on the bus. Or go down with it in the fog somewhere. Or go down with it on the bus and then nobody can pick it up. People who glitch. People who act like they know everything but still die trying to get the bus moving. People who turn the power switch on when they know you're still in the room and going to be electrocuted. People who run their horde into you when you're obviously running your own horde. (going the opposite way as you in town) Positive things: People who don't even touch the bus are awesome. If they can make it to town without getting on the bus 9/10 they will be able to hold their own in later rounds. People who like to race me Racing on foot around the entire map from depot to depot is fun. (have a couple friends we've done this a lot with) Unselfish people who can be satisfied with the M16 in early rounds, don't hog the box, will use their only 750 points to open the diner and go ahead and put the hatch in place before one of the noobs lose it in the fog or something. People who can hold their own and don't even need to turn their mic on. People who can run even with me running backwards in front of them in the fog and shooting the denizens off each other. Looks hilarious in theater mode. And finally the funniest thing I've ever heard a noob say was when I was running hordes in the fog between the cornfields and he had already died and started spectating me. He started freaking out on me saying I was lost and going in circles. I turned my mic on and was like, I'm not lost I'm hording here. He then proceeded to talk shit the entire end of the round telling me how much of a noob I was that you don't run hordes in the fog and how I was going to go down and ruin his game and all this shit. He was so pissed. So I got down to the last zombie and was running him to the farm as this guy was just being retarded. I put my gun in the fridge then ran toward power and teleported to town, dumped my coin in the bank and let the zombie bitch slap me down ending the game. You should have heard the noob spewing out of this kids mouth. Even sent me messages after I disconnected from him calling me names and shit. Sigh... Some peoples kids.
  7. Exactly. Doing a loop on the bus to get everything setup and then when you get to the bus stop everyone picks up a turbine. You should have enough power between the 4 turbines to power everything for another lap.
  8. Interesting. Now that you mention it I do remember the turret not aiming for the player but not letting up shooting through the player if the zombie was behind. Maybe the turrets will need to be on top of the bus. Possibly put the 4 turrets and the 4 electric traps on top and put the fans inside with the players. I guess my whole point with all of this is there has to be effective ways to use these traps. I see people try to use one here or there but never see a coordination to get 4-8 traps going at once. Just need to be smart about it and not have them setup in a way someone is going to cross paths between the gun and a zombie, and keep the electric traps in spots where players won't accidently get too close or run into them.
  9. Has anyone actually tried building all of the buildables and having each player put one of each on the bus (electric trap, machine gun turret, turbines) while having all 3 bus parts attached to the bus (cowguard, hatch, ladder) and then screw around with the Jetgun? (shields can't be set on the bus so maybe have the 3 without the jetgun have them on their backs) Just curious... that'd be 4 turrets and 4 electric traps goin off all at once. When I think about making a bad ass zombie bus this is what I picture, not just having the parts on it. Taking a lap around the map with all of this stuff going might trigger something, who knows. I think the buildable traps could play more of a valuable role when combined (everyone having one set up) Currently I have yet to see anyone really using these traps. They're kind of useless alone but together they could be pretty devastating. (picture 4 turrets going off in pack a punch while your team holds it down) I'm going to play around with this with my team, I'm just curious if anyone else has actually tried loading the bus up with everything?
  10. There's definitely nothing with the turbine and trains in solo. I put the turbine on every square inch of the train cars on both sides of the power. If there is anything it will need to be done with multiple turbines.
  11. ¿Qué coño? ¿Te refieres a continuación? Google translate: What the fuck? You mean then? I mean that the future DLC's might lead up to Green Run. As opposed to continuing on from Green Run (till maybe the last one when everything comes together). Like the story of how our new 4 met and things they did prior to Green Run. I'm not completely convinced that Green Run happens at the same time or right after Nuketown and Moon. I think the Earths atmosphere would have taken a lot longer to clear from a nuclear winter. I don't think our peeps could be running around unprotected right after the nukes went off. But hey I'm no scientist so I really don't know how these things would work. I also think there's some sort of time space rift happening as well, I think our characters are from different periods and places in time. Just my theories, don't shoot me. Buenos días, señor!
  12. Personally I think we're basically at the diner at the end of the world and everything moving forward is going to be a prequel to Green Run. Nacht probably isn't actually nacht but so close a resemblance that in a later DLC when the O4 see it it will spark memories for them and possible turn into something more. My other theory is that Green Run used to be a military base/area and Nacht here is a replica of the Nazi's base that soldiers used for training when they were about to go to war with the Nazi's.
  13. This isn't true. The one place I haven't killed him though is near that sparking generator in the lava part of the power room.
  14. Sorry I don't have a picture. If someone could get one for us to look at closeup it'd be appreciated. Anyone notice the discoloration of a perfect square in the lave going from town to the bridge? (left side of the lava pit)
  15. Can we get a pic of these turbines because I've ran around this map 100's of times and I don't remember any other wind turbines to be honest.
  16. Sorry this doesn't make sense. Misty clearly has access to a voice that says danger. It's right there in the video. So what they did it as a SFX, it's still there, and only heard by Misty. The questions are why and/or who, and are there any more throughout the game?
  17. *Disclaimer* Nothing EE related here! Howdy, I was just sitting here looking at the game select screen (where you choose Tranzit, survival, grief. map overview)and noticed a couple things I haven't seen explanations for. I looked everywhere for a good picture of the screen and can't seem to find one. If someone could help me out that'd be awesome. -Pink glow at Diner -Appears to be words written next to the crop circle That pink glow at the diner is the only thing that color on the whole map. It stands out. I wonder what it's significance is? Could be the headlights of the bus I guess but it doesn't look like it at all. Look closely at the crop circle on the far right. There are symbols or letters written vertically to the left of the crop circle. I can clearly see a sideways "W" or "M" but can't make out the rest. There are also some buildings in the fog above the field and to the right of town. And lastly there is a tower on the other side of the field before you hit the lava in front of the farm that is as big if not bigger than the oblisk tower. (prolly the big generator with flashing lights in the fog across from power but thought I would note it) I'm really just looking for everyone's thoughts on the pink thing at diner and the letters/symbols next to the crop circle. What do you think? p.s. thank you in advance to anyone who can help me out with a clear HD picture for us to examine!
  18. What?! Are you kidding me?! I had to restart the game so many times or play it without the jet gun because i was only able to find 3/4 parts and the jet turbine wasn't at the 2 spots in the tunnel where it should be...i always thought it's a damn glitch which doesn't let the jet turbine spawn  oh god im so stupid... There are 3 spots in the tunnel it spawns. On the platform, over in the back corner depot side, and next to a car beside the lava and where the platform one spawns. It took me awhile to find it there as well. It never spawns inside a car, only beside it.
  19. To me this sounds like the final quote Maxis would say indicating you compelted everything correctly. The other sites would be a reference to other maps where similiar towers, or spires, could be erected. After that, Maxis can "complete that which begun so many years ago." The radios on TranZit indicate the Jackass Flats area was attacked. The BREN Tower was erected at Jackass Flats at the time of the maps, and was most likely the first spire Maxis and Richtofen battled for. We could possibly be seeing more spires or towers that need to be activated in future maps. Paris would probably be the ultimate map selection in the future as it's been wanted by the community since W@W. But heck, that's just a theory. We'll have to wait until the first DLC drops to find out where this is really going. So yeah, I think there's only the one tower in Green Run that we can activate. The quote is a reference to future maps. ^^^^this
  20. I would start by double checking that my system updates are done. (on ps3 I found an update that the ps3 didn't notify me of. It wasn't anything big but it was an update nonetheless) The other thing that wreaks havoc on this game is the stability of your internet connection. I know you said it locked up during campaign but in my experience this game acts extremely weird if your internet connection is not keeping steady. If it fluctuates then it freezes, drops you, or even hangs your console. It'll even make it so you can't start a solo lobby in zombies. If you're on a wireless router I'd suggest testing things out with an Ethernet cable. Other than that I would try the disk on another console to rule your console out as a culprit. I've heard, witnessed, and even experienced many things going on with this game but never anything as severe as the problems you're having. Since you're still having the issue after exchanging the disc at the store then it leads me to believe it is one or both the console itself and the stability of your internet connection. Good luck man, I know how frustrating it can be, expecially if you're a die hard Blops fan.
  21. There are tons of glitches in Tranzit. I don't think Treyarc has released an updated patch as they have certain agreements with Activision and Playstation to release any patches at certain times. They can't legally push a client side patch out whenever they want. I don't know the ends and outs but I know there is something to it as to why they haven't patched them yet. I didn't watch the video but I'm sure you're talking about the glitch by the lava in the power area. People love abusing this for hours to fill up their banks. Most of those people couldn't stay alive without the glitch. I'm sure once Treyarc sends out a patch this will be gone. Other known glitches involve the zombie shield in certain areas. Standing in a crack on top of the bus at the depot. Opening two doors at the same time on certain buildings, etc... But to me the most ANNOYING glitch in this game hands down is when you get downed while you are on the bus carrying a part, get revived, and then can't pick that part up for the rest of the game. That there drives me frickin nuts. Just makes me bank my cash and restart the game.
  22. Have you not noticed yet? Mods have started closing most of his threads. Why do you think? Wake the hell up, he's a troll, for the last freaking time. I already agreed with you multiple times. And if you'd relax and stop pretending like you're they say all end all of this guy you would realize his threads aren't being closed because of what he's saying but because of the angry posters who are starting fights over bullshit just like you're doing. He's actually "been polite" in the words of moderators that refuse to ban him. unlike you spaz. "for the last time" whatever kid. Take your Ritalin. You're more of a troll than he is just by how youre acting. As you say "for the last time." I think he's trolling as well but he hasn't given any real reason to act hostile towards him. So just ignore him. If you can't handle the fact that some choose to believe him and can't fight the urge to verbally attack them for it then you need some help.
