  1. And it's not fixed either. Last man alive, running to get two downed teammates who were by the AN...Yeah you get where this is going. :(
  2. Has anyone managed to get it twice???? Maybe you do need x perks drank before you can reactivate it. X could be a big number, wtf! I do see one problem with this though. If it is say 100 perks to re-activate it once you lose it, then we all would have gotten it the first time on the first try. But we didn't, it took multiple tries for me to get it the first time and I have a lot of perks drank. What are some other possible triggers?
  3. Chopper is right, you should spawn into a different player's training area and camp a claymore corner with tramps while the other players hoard all the zombies before attempting to get anything. If you have points you can go once all the zombie are accounted for. Otherwise just build points with what you got then go. The buddha room is good for this and probably easier for both players than the china room although both work. If you are white, I'd definitely go for buddha room. I've done color ranking strategies in the china room before and they don't work well if white is the camper. Either way collecting zombies before doing anything is a fundamental high round strategy and is definitely the easiest way of getting set up after a down/die.
  4. This happened to me when I first bought the game. In rare occurrence that I would actually find an online game or join a friends lobby, it would be so laggy that the game was unplayable. Eventually, the game just started working. Sorry I can't be more helpful, you can mess around with your router and make sure your NAT is open.
  5. More difficult than the pdw room? ;)
  6. Very nicely done! I'm really looking forward to the remaining episodes. And the SMR is quite a surprise, especially that is ranked over the mp5. I'm confident it will rear its ugly head in the next episode.
  7. I'm starting to think it's more about the timing of going prone then how many times you try it. For instance, I notice if try to prone to early I get stuck in a crouch for a split second. The one time I did achieve it it looked smoother than my previous attempts. Dunno though.
  8. Camping is a tool, kiting is a tool. One is not generically better than the other. Their are situations in which one is better than the other for both cases. Kiting gets all the glory because it is the end game strategy. Camping is just as important in my opinion as it can literally shave hours off a high round game. High round games are more about stamina at a certain point then anything else and that is why camping is an excellent way of keeping round times short early on. Chopper's last post is pretty much spot on. There's no need to debate between camping and kiting. They are tools. Some camping strategies are better than others. Some kiting strategies are better than others.
  9. I'm finding it hard to reattain after losing it the first time. I've to get it back around 10 times to no avail.
  10. Personally, I would say you should use both strategies. Camping as a team will make the rounds progress quicker. In co-op games length of rounds is extremely important especially if you want to hit high rounds. To maximize effieciency, you should camp as a team until around 30 or so depending on the camping spot. This allows you to knock out the first 30 rounds quite quickly. A lot quicker than if everyone split up and trained seperately. After this point there is a variety of strategies you can use. You should use the quickest strategy that you are comfortable with. Usually, on a 2 player game, me and my partner will train in the same area. This is because it is a lot faster than spliting the zombies between 2 spawn zones. This may be more dangerous than some players want. You can use the color ranking to your advantage as well. This is easy, just have higher ranked colors train, find nice corners for the lower ranked colors to camp. Again this speeds up the rounds, as it means the zombies are spawning from fewer zones. I consider spliting into 4 spawn zones a last resort strategy. Rounds become far longer than necessary very very quickly. That's my take.
  11. I don't know exactly how many times it took for me to get it. It was between 5-10 times to get it. While trying to get it I had some weird glitches occur, like all the sleepers waking up and dying for no reason. I posted a video of this in media center, as I've never seen it before. Once I got it, I went to die rise and joined a random lobby, we made the tramp got a free perk and then I bought jugg around round 8 or so. I got the points, but I wasn't really paying attention, so I didn't make sure it was exactly 1000. I tried to prone once I got the perk, not sure if it worked or not. We went till 28 camping the roof, but I got all my other perks from boss rounds. I tried to see if the PaP gave you points as well and it didn't. However I tried this after I bought jugg so I could have lost it. I am about to go test some more in TranZit. I'll edit my post with any new findings.
  12. If you watch the video he says you might have to farm QR a few times before it works. Who cares about naming rights? I don't get or like this post at all. Without that video many of us wouldn't have even realized that such a persistant upgrade was even possible. So, why so negative?
  13. It's sad that they f'ed the sliquifier up and didn't even fix it's almost barrier glitch - like abilities. If anything they made it worse! Zombies dropping slime or whatever everytime they die only means it will take less ammo to keep them trapped I'm assuming. If they had really wanted to fix the exploits they would have done the complete opposite and make the slippery effect disappear quicker than before. Then people would end up using their ammo up much quicker to keep them in place. And it wouldn't have ruined the chaining while kiting strategies. What a fuck up! EDIT: Just watched the video Chopper and that is exactly why it was only one bullet per round. What were they thinking with that patch...
  14. Nice post MMX, I mostly agree with you and I also can see where the OP is coming from. I think changing more of the wall weapons would have been nice. I'm glad Die Rise added the new ones they did. I'm not too concerned either way; I'm sure they will continue to add plenty of new weapons. And the other drastic changes that have been made mean this is definitely Black Ops 2, not 1.5 . Just to point out quickly, he was saying that he wished the FAL was the BO II multiplayer version; rather than them bringing back BO I version. Which I agree has a pretty ugly skin. Doubt that would have changed how the gun or it's PaP'd version perform though.
  15. Traditionally, this is usually the safest way of hitting high rounds. This will also slow down spawns though. So quicker (hence more dangerous) is to both train in the same area as long as it's big enough. An example would be both training in front of the lighthouse in COTD. Or sharing the stage in Kino. (I wouldn't really put the biodome in here as it's big enough for 8 players to train at the same time ) In TranZit and Die Rise, if you are going to split up you really need to either be in range of reviving your teammate (and I would suggest having a revive plan in place) or be good at utilizing the special self-revive perk (tombstone or who's who). TranZit kind of sucks for this as it puts all the pressure on the surviving teammate to clutch the round, the alternative of having to re-perk isn't that great either. Another way of surviving high rounds in the same area as your teammate would be to use the color ranking to your advantage. If white is running a train blue can usually camp a corner (as long as it's not near a spawn point) with little to no zombies interference. This is pretty safe and fast as blue helps kill the spawn quicker and is there for reviving if white gets downed.
  16. I swear on my life, absolutely no part of my Die Rise 100 was boring. Heart pounding yes, palm sweating yes (especially 4 rounds in the 90s with no QR or whos who). The auto trains in various locations are however boring. PAP Ascension. Kino Lobby top door shut. Kino MP40 top door shut. On these you literally do exactly the same thing, over and over again. There are however many spots where it's not quite the same. Alley on Kino, all doors open. Electricity room on Kino. AK on Shang. Just a few examples of how different kiting, or training can be. I couldn't agree more Chopper. I've never been a fan of auto-training. I've always respected people like Superhands for being able to totally bend the game to his will with some of his high round strategies, but once you see how he does it once; there is little to no variation between spawns. I'd much rather sit back and watch someone train in a dangerous area flying by the seat of their pants at round 30,then someone using spawn control at round 100. At the end of day its just more entertaining to watch and play that way (for me personally). Also, I'm really bad at spawn control strategies. I usually lose concentration quite quickly and die pathetically early .
  17. You may have glitched out or something, but I lost it yesterday on round 15 with 0 downs.
  18. This, when the glitch is in effect you most likely cannot change weapons. Usually I get stuck with my sallies out (course right). The one gun that I really can't trade out, to get something pap'd. In this case, I'll re-buy who's who (if I can) or down myself (if I can't and I'm on co-op). Then once I get a temporary fix so I can change weapons I'll pap a gun to fix it and cross my fingers the next time I go down.
  19. Quite arrogant to presume you know the way the game was 'meant' to be played. Do you see what he has on his shirt? Training is just as legit a playstyle as camping. To say one or the other is 'not the way the game is meant to be played' is folly. Personally, I do both, some games I may want to camp with a team. Other games I may want to train and see how far I can go. I definitely don't limit myself to one or the other.
  20. And blackops 2 of course. You won't be able to get access to the homemade custom zombie maps that so many of his videos are based around.
  21. You do realize that pre-Black ops II zombies are still there correct? I played COTD co-op with a guy the other night. I noticed things seemed to run smoother, although perma-jugg has spoiled me early rounds . He lagged out at 31 it was fun though. EDIT: Just saw your last post, you can buy WaW, the game that started it all! Although you won't get any maps different than the ReZurrection map pack for BO I. (you will get the ppsh though NGT does a lot of custom map videos. They are only available on PC WaW. He basically has an infinite collection of homemade maps. Lucky bastard. You cannot get access to any of these 'custom' maps on xbox. Hope that helped!
  22. I've always heard the footsteps and what sounds like a door closing with keys jingling. I don't think it pertains only to Samuel but I could be wrong.
  23. Yeah we really only have a handful of people to choose from. You got your own friends and people on youtube. Like MMX said, the 'best zombie player' is more likely than not, someone no one has ever heard of. Also I really doubt that there is one person that you could actually say was better than everyone else. I'd rather believe there is a top tier skillwise of pro players. Any of which could win any sort of competition that you could devise to find the top player.
