  1. Who are Emilia and Abigail?... Likely one of the many questions we'll never be given an answer to. My thoughts are that they might be the names of other children working for Group 935 scientists. Makes sense to me that little girls couped up in the theater would be playing together in the dressing room where all the costumes and props are. That's just my guess. Nothing is conclusive about it yet - Mix
  2. I feel like Shangri-la gave us a cool ancient aliens angle to the story, where we needed to revisit forgotten technology from a lost civilization in order to move forward. I wouldn't mind having another map added, like El Dorado or Atlantis, that gives a similar ancient lost civilization feel only if the legends from it can be appropriately tied into the threads of the zombie storyline. - Mix
  3. Fine, forget you. I'll make my own dent on the Nuketown leaderboards. Died last night on Round 50. Ranked 16 on the Solo leaderboard - Mix
  4. My feeling is that Nuketown in the game encompasses the nuclear tests of the era. There were over a thousand nuclear test done in the Nevada test sites. I don't think the Nuketown map can be pinpointed down to a single test such as Operation Latchkey. Here's some examples of nuclear tests on houses I think helped influence the Nuketown map. THE REAL NUKETOWN 05Z5lq4ci2o [0] The Main St and Elm St signs in front of the Apple II house resembles the Latchkey Rd and Trinity Ave signs at Nuketown The two homes were actually a mile apart from each other. This house was part of a 1955 detonation of a 29-kiloton weapon called Apple II OPERATION DOORSTEP (1953) & OPERATION CUE (1955) G2-8f-V5sFY HOUSE IN THE MIDDLE pGJcwaUWNZg As a side-note I want to share, my yard produces a lot of leaves. Now after watching this film, every time clean up my yard, a part of me is doing it to help ensure my home survives an inevitable nuclear attack. Ugh... Stupid cold war propaganda brainwashed me. For more propaganda issued by the Department of Civil Defense, check out my Fallout Brochure thread here: viewtopic.php?f=41&t=21229 - Mix
  5. Lets not forget that the world has been thrown into chaos because of a mad scientist who heard voices in his head... - Mix
  6. "Just because one is different is not a valid excuse to simply banish him." "They ask me to leave? I was the one reporting this scuffing behavior... makes no sense." Has Marlton been banished from his group because he hears Dr. Maxis's voice in his head? - Mix
  7. My thoughts are Way2g00 and I now have to put a new dent on Nuketown co-op leaderboards. - Mix
  8. If there is an Easter Egg, then I'd assume it has something to do with helping the person in the bomb shelter (cotd style), However I can never make out what that person is saying.
  9. Now I feel obligated to make that thread. It's in the works. But there's one thing I want to give away to you guys now..... More to come soon, - Mix
  10. Jolteon have you read World War Z yet? There's an awesome chapter about french soldiers fighting zombies in the Parisian Catacombs. I don't think the WWZ novel will have any effect on the BLOPS 2 game, but the story definitely did wet my appetite for the potential horror that a future Parisian Catacombs map could present. - Mix
  11. Back when all we had was a behind the scenes preview for BLOPS 2 Zombies, didn't we find tranzit locations match those of locations found in a city of New Jersey? That's real close to New York. Maybe the photo references the treyarch devs used when texturing and modeling the environments were from the East coast and they didn't expect we'd dig so far into it that we'd notice the discrepancies? IDK what to make of it really. Good digging though, Jolteon - Mix
  12. Thanks for the vid LiamFTW. I've been searching all over youtube for a vid, and turned up nothing. I think I've been missing the one on the ground at [1]. There's usually one up high in the same spot. I'm probably looking up high, while I should be looking at my feet. Not sure if I've been hitting the one in the car at [1] And I'm for sure I never found that mannequin between the rubble and house by the stairs of the yellow house at [1]. Wow, that's an easter egg hunt - Mix
  13. I'm looking into it at this thread viewtopic.php?f=100&t=25348 - Mix
  14. If I remember right, it activated between rounds too. So maybe round number had something to do with it? I remember it happened around round 30 or so. Definitely sometime after round 25, and we ended the game on round 31. So hopefully that helps gauge when it happens. - Mix
  15. Does anyone know how to activate the 8-bit Pareidolia song on Nuketown Zombies? nDBb56j-YpA COD wikia says you need to shoot all the heads off the mannequins to activate the song. But ya know it's the wikia, so take that info with a grain of salt. Every time I play Nuketown Zombies, I make a point to take out every mannequin I see. However I've never been able to activate the song. Am I missing a mannequin, or is this not the activation switch? The locations of the mannequins rotates every game, just like the perk machines. So it makes me think there is something more to them than simply being destructible environmental items. The fact that the mannequins have been EE's in the original Nuketown as well as Nuketown 2025 only furthers my suspicion. Way2g00 and I once heard this song play in a 4-player game. So I know it exists. The song activated when one of the randoms in our group was shooting his PAP'd Warmachine in random directions all over the map. I'm guessing he hit something that activated the song. Could it be a mannequin is located outside of the map that I had missed? If anyone knows for sure how to activate the 8-bit Pareidolia song on Nuketown Zombies, then please let us know.... - Mix
  16. For the Activision Arcade, you have to shoot all the heads off the mannequins on Nuketown 2025, not Nuketown Zombies. - Mix

  18. I'm on board with that being original concept art for Kino. Kind of reminds me of the Shangri la concept art posted here viewtopic.php?f=69&t=20737 Thanks for sharing Matuzz. You're a boss! - Mix
  19. And let that be a lesson to Treyarch to never fuck with us like that again! The people have spoken  - Mix
  20. BAD NEWS: Everyone's favorite MP map Nuketown 2025 has been officially pulled from the Multiplayer playlist. Many of us pre-ordered the game, simply so we could play this MP map. There were no warnings before today's announcement that there would be special restrictions to this map. Nothing is listed on the website's Nuketown 2025 FAQ page about it either http://community.callofduty.com/community/call_of_duty/english/black_ops_2/blog/2012/06/30/nuketown-2025-faq Seriously Treyarch, WHAT THE FUCKING FUCKIDY FUCK WERE YOU THINKING ON THIS!?!?!?!?!? GIVE US OUR FAV MAP BACK NAOW!!!!! - MixMasterNut

  22. I could be wrong here. I mean it is basic design of a triangle within a circle.... But the logo with the 3.0 on it reminds me of the logo for the Department of Defense's Office of Civil Defense. More about the Department of Defense's Office of Civil Defense can be found here: http://callofdutyzombies.com/forum/view ... 29#p203815 A nod to Nuclear Energy maybe? - Mix
  23. Oooohh, a vote for your favorite lesser of two evils Feels like we just had one of those in America - Mix
  24. Ever since the Nuketown 2025 trailer debuted, my friends have had to endure my uber-nerdy prediction that PITFALL! would be a hidden retro game inside of BO2. (examples: http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=99&t=24822&p=239317#p239317 & http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=100&t=24837&p=239462#p239462) Today my epic forsight has been confirmed... 05JvmXXTH04 Simply shoot off all the Mannequin heads in Nuketown 2025 in roughly under 1:30 and the retro videogames will be available on the big TV by the orange house. Growing up in the Atari age, I personally love the HUD details of your pixelated hands holding a classic Atari 2600 joystick. Video Games within Video Games... - Mix
  25. I'm under the assumption that the original Nacht der Untoten is different from the one on tranzit. I see the Tranzit version as Treyarch giving us a nice throw-back nod to reference the original zombie map that started it all. I don't see this Tranzit version of the NDU fort as a reason to re-write our theories about the time and location of the original NDU map. - Mix
