  1. Is that a perk cola machine??? Hard for me to tell what it is.. If it is a perk machine, maybe we have to leap off the balcony to grab the soda from the machine, similar to getting the Bowie Knife on Moon when the power/gravity is turned On. I'm guessing the room is simply upside down, rather than going in every direction like an Escher painting. Imagine the building is like a tree that has just been chopped in half, and the top half of the stalk is hanging down barely hanging on by whatever fibers are still intact. - Mix
  2. I've long thought the legends of Operation Highjump loosely tie into things in the Call of the Dead EE, and naturally give reason as to why we have to go to CotD prior to going to Shangri la (Hollow Earth). - Mix
  3. These are my initial thoughts.... Could this be the bottom side of a flying Vimana? like this guy... Flying Pyramid looming over Moscow in Dec 2009 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstop ... emlin.html Check out this UFO sighting in Bejing China 1-1-2012 qw_DHf5sLoo And another UFO sighting in Bejing China 1-6-2012 RUvD7DMspIo The high-rises from the game look similar to the ones in the Bejing UFO footage. They might be related. I guess we'll have to wait and see on the 29th - Mix
  4. I can't tell, but is he trying to say I post too much? I actually need to update the OP with some newer threads. And I'm sure with the Asylum broken a lot of my links are now dead.
  5. Lol, it was not cleared sir! i think it wasnt the sun dude, Look at my post again. I didn't say it was the sun. I said it was a lens flare
  6. The weapons are not canon. The yellow rubber hazmat suit has been employed since the early 20th century. +1 The cdc hazmat suits are not modern. The model is a direct cut/paste from the Rebirth mission in the BO1 campaign. -Mix
  7. Running through lava gives me a headache and hurts my eyes. I stare at dual computer monitors all day at work so my eyes get tired. The constant blurry screens makes my eyes struggle to focus on what is there. Its very jarring to me.
  8. Go post your *proof* in another thread. We're talking about the loading screen here. And unless you have hardcore pics and/or video proving it, we absolutely do not care to hear about it. - Mix
  9. I was looking at this thing this morning. To me it looks like the texture map to a D-Cell battery. Haven't noticed where it is located on the map myself. Whats the vertical text say? - Mix
  10. Who does this texture belong to? Looks like it has a Group 935 (or 601) logo on it in the center. It was in the ZM_Nuked group of images. Hate to be that guy, but any chance we can get higher rez images? These ones hide a lot of details. ****UPDATE**** Nevermind. That is the bump map to the Monkey Bomb. Here's the Color map that goes with it. - Mix
  11. Looks like a drawing of an retro robot head to me Example... Good catch Shooter. - Mix
  12. No credit from NGTZombies even though their monetizing my ideas and discoveries. Watch about [2] XpIv1rF390o Typical Youtube bullshit... Definitely not the first time this has happened to me. Likely not the last either. At least you guys know it was posted here first by yours truely - Mix
  13. THANK YOU!!!! MUCH APPRECIATED My current fav thread is back This thread's been calling me... +1 on that idea. I've been feeling the same way too as a possibility for explaining this thing. I messed with the levels in photoshop to bring more of the image out... I'm guessing it's the wing of a jet-fighter plane? I mean, the previous planel is of a jet-fighter pilot. And the area is known for experimental aircraft and it's Airforce bases, amiright.? No seriously, that's all I got... Well if it's on CoDWiki, then you know it must be true I've been wondering the same thing myself. Can anyone get a screenshot of that gun reticule in-game? I haven't seen that one (yet). Another question I have is.... The image has been there since BO1 Nuketown. Why are we just now trying to figure this logo out? (Ugh, I wish my Oppenheimer - Manhattan Project, Trinity, Brahmastra & MJ12 thread was still online --- admins, hint hint) I've assumed that the tower was meant to resemble the Trinity Tower. And the Treyarch devs decided to it attach a clock to it for fun. Trinity Atomic Bomb Site Trinity Tower. Site Of Real Test Of Trinity Gadget. July 16, 1945. White Sands Missile Range. New Mexico Goes along with my theory that Nuketown was designed to emcompass the entire nuclear testing era in Nevada. This definitely presents a problem for theories trying to pinpoint any specific time and place for this event. It's a whole bunch of crazy nuclear tests rolled into one. I can totally see the resemblence. I LOVE this theory of yours, Shooter. I've been thinking the same thing too... Nuclear fission is the process for exploding H-bombs. A subterranian H-Bomb is what created the Sedan Crater. Just sayin. Might be time to invest in those Gamma-Ray Specs. That's all for now - Mix
  14. Hate to Mythbust you, but the Richtofen books are all over the place. Basically anywhere in the BO1 game where you see a bookshelf with books on it, you'll find the Richtofen books. I've even found them on campaign maps. So it's not just Nuketown and zombie maps. That's why many of us don't even mention the books in our storyline theories. Frustrates me to no end when I see the dev's carelessly sprinkle props like this all over the maps without any concern of how it'll be interpretted by us storyline researchers. That prop felt like it meant something on Verruckt. But after seeing it on so many different maps, even ones not zombies related, I just *sigh* and tell myself they're just books and nothing more. - Mix
  15. Check out this Vril Society logo I found today: I feel like I'm seeing the symbology in effect here.
  16. Can anyone on PC no-clip the map and get a closer view of the tower? The BREN Tower was constructed in 1962, and demolished on May 23, 2012 If it is the BREN Tower then this gives us a clue to finding the date of the map, and subsequentially the date of the Moon map. Just pointing this stuff out because Tac is obsessive about dates. - Mix
  17. I'll admit I currently play BO2 zombies simply because it's a newer game. Not because it's the superior game. NO NO NO. Once that new feeling fades away, I'll probably be back to playing those tired old maps again. I absolutely hate what they've done to knifing in this game. Knifing was one area I thought they'd improve upon in BO2 (ie BO knifing was better than WAW). The hit detection on crawlers was aweful as it was. Now I can't even stab a zombie behind a window unless his hands are physically on a board ready to tear it off. Now I can't even stab a zombie in front of me without taking a hit every time. I cringe at the thought of what playing No Man's Land with these knifing mechanics would be like. This is absolutely the worst knifing in any COD I've ever played. I'd take the WAW knifing any day over this. I can't express how badly Treyarch fucked up knifing!!! OMG it pisses me off to no end, so I'm moving on.... So far Nuketown has been my favorite BO2 map. For a smaller map, I like the layout. In many ways it feels like a classic map to me (but with shitty knifing mechanics). The fact that there is no EE, and the secret songs are just rehashed from the Moon, I find super-cheesy. That's below par at this stage of the game. I'm hoping for a flash update on the knifing mechanics. Also, I'm really hoping the DLC has some quality survival maps in it that feel the size of Ascension, Cotd, Shang, and Moon. These small maps on Green Run that all look the same don't feel like an upgrade anything to me. They all suck in their own way. And they best bring my Phd Flopper back, pronto. Done ranting for now - Mix
  18. PINNAZ's work leaves me picking my jaw off the floor on the regular Because of him, I think we might now have a possible I.D. on this large looming circular object in the Nuketown loading screen... Check out this CG rendering of Project Orion Re-Imagined V1vKMTYa40A SKIP to [1] to get to this imagery of the thumbnail. It has a large circular base. And the arm looks similar. A Nuclear Powered Rocketship sitting over a Nuclear Test site? What do you guys think? - Mix
  19. I think you completely nailed all the DARPA drone stuff. It's pretty cool seeing how accurate your BO2 2025 predictions were when we only had slivers of information to work with. - Mix
  20. I found it now. It's in the window between the barracade the zombies come out of, and the corner of the room that you can jump down from (closer to the SMG than Jugg). Hard to tell if it's a reflection, or on the opposite side of the glass. But you can only see it when looking at the glass window. Still going with the idea that it's an omni-light. It might be the light motivated by the fire under the floor boards. It's just not as hidden as it probably should be. - Mix
  21. What system are you running on (Xbox, PS3, PC)? I just checked on Xbox on Survival, and I dont see it. Looks to me like an omni-light just hanging out in the room. Were the developers this sloppy to just throw a light in the room without any motivated light source? - Mix
  22. "You must decide... decide what do you think is worth figthing for... Dragovich... Kravchenko... Steiner... These... 'men' ... must die" - Reznov - Mix
  23. Here's another Nuketown related video, from the public archives, that was just uploaded today. SURVIVAL TOWN U.S.A. nqRFBDRYZF4 Researching Nuketown is kinda my thing right now - Mix
  24. Surprised I hadn't heard of this before. Thanks Zom-B_Hunter115. I love this type of stuff. I'll definitely look more into it now. BTW, the event others are referring to where the US gov detonated a nuke in the earth's upper-atmosphere was called Operation Starfish. If you don't know about it, then look it up. Definitely one of the wackiest, most irresponsible nuclear test the US ever performed. - Mix
