    The Shangri-La mountains they just made it up. Anything pertaining to the mountains was not any premeditated story or whatever, Jimmy and the gang just wanted to see a twitter freakout, and they got it, and now some people think shangri-la is on Mars. like really? mars? the zombie community is so ravenous for info that the devs can simply say "shangri la mountains" and in 15 minutes the map is now on mars. absolutely ridiculous. anyway, yeah this was Jimmy trying to get a rise out of people. and sounds like he was successful again

    The last DLC is pretty lack-luster. The MP maps are forgettable. I played them each at least once most of them twice or more, and Showtime is just the worst. It is everything that is wrong with CoD multiplayer now days. I played one round of extinction on the new one, and it feels just like all the other ones. I guess some people like it but I can not get into extinction for the life of me. All the maps feel the same, and lack the individualism and distinction that each zombies map gives us. Overall I give ghosts a 3/10 I can really only think of one aspect of the game that i feel is better than Black ops 2, and that is the whole "semi-auto rifles" class and the improved scopes for them and the snipers. Thought that was really cool. Everything else was average at best

    Yep, you hit the nail on the head. Pushing the courthouse button and activating the "end game" reward if you will, totally resets your EE progress. I'm sure the purpose for that is so that you can't just always have the permanent fire sale and 4 weapon slots or extra powerups every single time you play buried. However you are more than welcome to do the EE's again, maybe even the opposite side as last time and do it all over again!

    We need some sort of video proof of this before I'm going to accept any report of a faster bus as fact. Don't see how its possible without some sort of hot fix, which we would be able to easily prove/disprove by playing online/offline and comparing

    I appreciate a good troll just as much as the next guy, but it really makes me wonder why Jimmy even bothers. I mean obviously its good to drum up interest in your product, but if there's really nothing there, why would he bother (unless he really has that much extra time on his hands, in which case Jimmy i'd like some of your free time plz)

    i assume this is concerning the story only, and not game play element wise. No they shouldn't wipe the slate clean, but they need to go one way or another. If there are going to be story enhancing cut scenes, they need to go all the way and give us details, so that we have less questions and more answers. The other option is to go the other way and be like black ops 1 where loading screens are cryptic and minimalistic, and there are a few hidden radios in the maps, and maybe the easter egg gives the most detail to the story. With BO2 they gave us these detailed cutscenes and then never answered any of the quesions that they raised lol

    that and the fact that it will be almost 2017 presumably by the time a new IW cod game would be scheduled, Id venture to guess something crazy will happen between now and then where CoD is either so different that extinction doesnt make sense, or something else will be in its place

      @EJ I agree that there were way too many re-skins in BO2 as well. Dig is enough different to maybe give it a pass, but Firing range, Stadium, and summit yeah that was BS and I wish they had made new maps!

      Hated that from BO2, even though I love the MP overall

      obviously i do think that BOII was better than ghosts, but ghosts was by no means a bad / not fun game.

      Idk… Could be fun. SO many people look down on extinction, but in reality it is a fully elaborate and entertaining story, just like zombies. ESPECIALLY if you're looking for multiverse connections. (Try it)

      yeah but extinction isnt fun to me. i could not care less about the story of extinction or even zombies for that matter, if the game isnt fun. zombies is, extinction is not IMO

      ^This. Storyline does indeed look very interesting, and even more detailed than zombies, but the game mode is trash. Shame that it is the last thing to come from the once mighty Neversoft as a seperate developer.

    don't care. honestly wouldn't mind if they did more "prequel" stuff of sorts. The story is so convoluted and stupid now, I'm really only concerned about gameplay and zombies just getting back to being fun. when I first got totally hooked on zombies, via der reise in WaW me nor any of my friends had the first idea about there being a story of any kind. We just knew it was fun as hell Ill say this, if they are going to rock and roll with a story line, I think they need to wrap up the previous ones into their own thing. I'm fine with keeping our O4 characters, but they need to totally start over with a new story. the current one is terrible and too muddled to add to

    rather than an "in one game" type of deal, I think one cool thing would be a lifetime achievements type of thing. Similar to the camos in black ops 2 multiplayer (which have made it have crazy replayability for me even to this day). But even moreso, if anyone is familiar with the Badass rank system in Borderlands 2. Basically Its a system of challenges with 5 levels each that add to your rank, and the rank points allow you to upgrade various character statistics. So with obvious tweaks, you could upgrade your characters weapon damage, recoil, etc stuff like that... OR you could make it only for cosmetic unlockables like camos, player skins, color scheme's for players clothes, and even new guns in the box for very prestigious challenges Id also like to see the mystery box be tweaked (related to my above idea) to include different guns for different people based on your "rank" or "experience" since zombies is a team game where (aside from grief) it is all against the zombies, it would help give incentive to play and complete challenges to unlock guns from the box. just some ideas that were flosing on this fine morning

    definitely one of the most annoying features of black ops 2 is the bleeding out crawler. If it ain't broke don't fix it etc. at least in buried the big guy could hold one, but it was dumb that that was even necessary

    Is moon really that poorly thought of among the entire community? I only heard positive things about it in my time playing with randoms or at least on this forum when the map initially came out. and I thought NML was basically still the mecca for the best zombie players...

    That is only in Origins though, The Pack-a-Punch machine in Der Reise most certainly was the work of group 935. But again, IMO they screwed the story so badly in BO2, that its' hard for me to even care that much anymore about anything other than the game play

    i've never noticed that. Proves that although we feel like the zombies team takes so much pride in the story and what not, there are a lot of inconsistencies in details that don't make their attention to detail look very impressive. I'd go with Ludwig, pronounced lewd-vig, just like the more traditional German spelling

    I use the good ole Turtle Beach X40's had em for about 4 years now. Probably about time for an upgrade, but ill likely hold off until I upgrade to a next gen console as well

    Oh i agree that MW3 was worse, but it seems like that wasnt the general perception by the public. I know a lot of people who MW3 was their favorite CoD of all time. It always had a lot of online play and what not, whereas Ghosts doesnt even have as many online as BLOPS2 most times in MP
