  1. Let's all just take a minute, step back, and think. NO...stop thinking about what random stuff you can make up that doesn't actually make sense. Stop typing the first thing that comes to your mind. Actually think. Find actual evidence before you just make shit up. It does no one any good to have to sift through your "ideas" that are not thought out and that do not help anyone at all. I apologize for being blunt, but the OP has effectively ruined any chance of me (and I assume others) attempting to actually find a link between COTD and Vorkuta because I just feel like every topic I look at that is associated with this will be as poorly thought out. If you aren't going to even attempt to provide evidence then don't post your theory. It is counterproductive and annoying. You make my brain hurt. /flamerant Keyzer
  2. This sort of showboating and tomfoolery is unnecessary and unproductive man! Your excessiveness gives taco lovers all a bad name. We all know that there is no reason to have your welding helmet on if the TV is off!
  3. I'm good with the premise of making it more difficult and interesting. My only problem is that the increased difficulty comes from an inability to see so its not really a test of your skill so much as a test of your night vision. But I think its always fun to throw in an additional outside influence or rule to liven the game up.
  4. Takeo is vomiting. They address him about it and Richtofen says something in regards to him eating too much raw fish. Seems like Richtofen is trying to cover his tracks since its likely Tak is getting sick from the teleporter/possibly turning into a zomb.
  5. No problem man we're all just looking for answers We have to challenge each other now and again if we are going to get results! [brains]
  6. Unless i have missed it multiple times he does not mention anything about blue crosshairs in the Inside XBOX video. It was mentioned above because it shows up on the loading screen for COTD. If you could point out in the video where its mentioned I would reconsider but as of now I see no reason to believe that the blue crosshairs are any different in this map than the others.
  7. This definitely creates an interesting conflict. I only think it is slightly unclear because Tank has never been afraid of breaking character so to speak. He mentions Treyarch by name and even addresses the player (just two quick examples). But I still think its hard to say for sure what the timeline for the team is.
  8. ...just a couple posts up...there's the answer...krauss refibrillator...blue crosshairs when you aim at a teammate...
  9. Pics or it didnt hap--wait Just messin man. Great Job and congrats! [brains]
  10. Blue cross-hairs are seen when you aim the Krauss Refibrillater at a teammate. At least thats what it was in Kino, Ascension, and Five. It instantly revives them.
  11. Reasons I leave: You run around in the early rounds to every window. You ask me to do a glitch. You say racist/sexist/ignorant sh*t over the mic. You play like a general idiot and have no desire to get better or have fun. I have found that the key to leaving a game is either be the host or open as many doors as possible without telling anyone. The best are the ones that you know will not help them and will make it harder for them. Just play the game right :D
  12. At the moment two things are catching my attention. First is the subject from Mexico. From what I know and can find Mexico did very little in WW2. There was American fear of an invasion, but Mexico declared war on the Axis powers in 1942. There were some Mexican volunteers in the American military and obviously Mexican-Americans in the military, but why the choice was made to include a Mexican subject is slightly confusing to me. I thought one possible solution could be that Richtofen is confusing a Spanish subject for a Mexican subject, but many of the problems remain. Spain was dominated by Germany in WW2 and again did not play a major role. The second thing is Richtofen's interest in the spleen. What I can find says that the spleen filters red blood cells and removes anti-body coating in most vertebrates. I'm not sure if it is the function or the fact that it is present in most vertebrates (i.e. monkeys and dogs) that drew his attention to it. Perhaps someone with medical knowledge could help out here. There is obviously a lot more to these messages, but this is what caught my attention initially.
  13. "and we lead the zombie into these claymores....and...he's f*ucked now" i lol'd haha [brains] just for that
  14. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_A._Romero http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001681/ The second and third greatest sources of information ever created (behind CODZ of course ) should help you out.
  15. I think its because it is a much more realistic version of what fighting in a zombie apocalypse would be like. You just have to run strategically, try to find breaks, and be flexible in what you are doing. Unfortunately I don't think there is going to be a perfect catwalk to camp on when the zombies come. I feel like it will be much more like what we have in COTD.
  16. The playable characters make it impossible for it to be in the 80s. They have modern day appearance and Sarah Michelle Gellar was born in 1977. She would be a child. Good thinking with the DG2 though!
  17. Somebody is going real soon. We know Takeos suspicious of Richtofen and now Tank is blatantly questioning Richtofen. When the lights are out before you replace the fuse in the easter egg Tank and Nikolai think they are blind and Tank asks Richtofen what the hell he did to them. Somethings gotta give. O and I'm still waiting on the white rabbit...its 05/04/11 btw
  18. In the meantime here is a transcript I made of the opening cut-scene. Yeah its on youtube but this was fun to make and could be used for something I guess. *Opens with black screen with George Romero voice-over* George Romero: I’ve always liked the monster within idea. I like the zombies being us. Its like, zombies are the blue collar monsters. *Lightning strikes behind the lighthouse, a zombie appears on screen* *Cut to Trejo raising a machete wielding fist into the air against the background of the night sky with a lightning bolt* *The machete drops and a head flies* *We get our first look at Danny Trejo wielding akimbo machetes* Danny Trejo: We’re completely surrounded!! *Robert Englund runs into the scene with a pitchfork* Robert Englund: We’re completely f@cked. *Englund rams the pitchfork into a zombie’s gut* *Pan out to Michael Rooker who has akimbo sawed-off double barrels* *Rooker headshots a zombie with each of the shotguns* Michael Rooker: Are you girls kiddin’ me?!? I’ve been praying for this sh1t! C’MON!! *Behind Rooker Sarah Michelle Gellar kicks a zombie through a door to open it and struts out* Sarah Michelle Gellar: Boys, lets get to work. *Epic zombie slaying by Trejo and Englund* *Rooker swings the butt of his shotgun at a zombie and misses* Zombie Extra: For God’s sake he missed me AGAIN! *The fighting stops and a movie clapper board covers the screen* *Clapper board reads: Call of the Dead, Scene 07, Shot 15, Take 11, Director George A. Romero* *We see the entire movie production and Romero walks up to Rooker* George Romero: (exasperated sigh at Rooker) Cut! Are you blind man? Like this. *Nails Englund in the face with the butt of the shotgun* Robert Englund: OOOWWW. UGH. George Romero: See?! Danny Trejo: No, jefe. I do it like this! *Trejo bops Englund on the head with the handle of his machete* Robert Englund: O-Ugh! Danny! Sarah Michelle Gellar: I do it like this. *Gellar struts up to Englund and spin kicks him in the face and he goes flying back onto the ground* *A zombie emerges from a window in the background* George Romero (to zombie): Get back to hair and makeup. You don’t look dead enough. Zombie Extra: C’mon lets go… *Extra tries to lead zombie away but is flipped* Zombie: ARRGGHHH. RAAAWRRR. AAAARGH. *Zombie gives epic scream into camera and grabs Romero and runs off screen with him* Michael Rooker: That ain’t in the script. *Flips shotgun barrels into position* *Michael Rooker nameplate on a freeze frame* Danny Trejo: We’re writin’ a new one. It’s called maggot-death MASSACRE! *Double machete strikes into zombie) (Danny Trejo nameplate on a freeze frame* Robert Englund: This is a real NIGHTMARE. *Stabs zombie with pitchfork* *Robert Englund nameplate on freeze frame* *Gellar jams a sickle into a zombie, proceeds to karate pose* Sarah Michelle Gellar: Let’s slay some stiffs! *Sarah Michelle Gellar nameplate on a freeze frame* *Epic slaying of real zombies using melee weapons, akimbo double barrels, and karate skills* *Rooker’s 5th shot from the shotguns blows the camera to black*
  19. I'm going to work on getting locations and transcripts for the radios tomorrow (aka later today). Currently the "best" i can find is Syndicate and their videos and transcripts are absolute sh*t. They ignore half of the transmission and are relying on whoever posts a transcript first. I'll do my best but unfortunately won't have vids because i have nothing to record with.
  20. I think modern times sounds logical. Any theories on how the zombies got there? The opening cut-scene suggests that a worldwide zombie apocalypse had not yet occurred. Could the Fab Four have some how brought the zombs or 115 with them? :?
  21. Youtube vid is up that he can be killed with the upgraded scavenger. it took a lot of hits to do it however.
  22. yes, you can mod or do what you want to ascension, kino, and five and you arent going to produce a wonderwaffle. it has to be in the map. if its in there then there's a reason.
  23. youtube videos confirm that if you defeat Romero with the uprgraded Scavenger he drops a death machine and a random perk bottle.
  24. there are 4 horns located around the map that make different noises there is a dial on the wall of each level of the lighthouse that can be moved between 0-9 there are two levers in the power room that can be moved to varying degrees the water freezes both you and zombies. this can help and hurt you. shooting Romero with the V-R11 will cause him to exit rage mode there is also a slide out of the bottom floor of the lighthouse that can be used like the flinger and zip lines
  25. Most of the criticism was saying that you're wrong not that you're trolling.
