      Dr Maxis is alive, the Maxis Drone is a buildable drone that helps kills zombies, revives players and even grabs power-ups. The Maxis Drone consists of a Brain, Frame and Rotors. The Drones weapon is a MG08/15 and shoots for 90 seconds before needing to recharge.

      The new Wonder Weapon G-Strike is a tactical Grenade that is an upgraded version of the Monkey Bomb and when activated attracts zombies and becomes the target of a single napalm missile, however, if there is a Giant Robot on the map, the robot will fire several more missiles at the target.

    • Nintendo has announced that it is buying Shiver Entertainment, the Miami-based game studio known for the Switch ports of Hogwarts Legacy and Mortal Kombat 1. The studio was previously owned by Embracer. "Nintendo will acquire 100% of the outstanding shares of Shiver and make it a wholly owned subsidiary. By welcoming Shiver's experienced and accomplished development team, Nintendo aims to secure high-level resources for porting and developing software titles," Nintendo said. The company added that Shiver's focus will "remain the same" after joining Nintendo, and that is to continue porting and developing games for multiple platforms, including Switch. Nintendo did not specify a purchase price for Shiver. The company said the buyout will have "only a minor effect" on Nintendo's business results for the fiscal year. Shiver's CEO is John Schappert, who was the founder of EA Tiburon, the game development giant known for the Madden and NCAA Football franchises. He later rose higher at EA all the way up to SVP of Worldwide Studios at EA before joining Xbox and then returning to EA. Nintendo rarely acquires companies. The company's last big buyout before this was the purchase of longtime collaborator SRD in 2022. In 2021, Nintendo purchased another longtime collaborator, Next Level Games. The move to buy Shiver comes ahead of the expected 2025 release of the Switch 2, or whatever the system ends up being called.     • Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, the long-awaited sequel to Ninja Theory's 2017 action-adventure game Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, is out now on Xbox and PC. Reviews are online, too, painting a picture of the game's critical reception from critics. Here at GameSpot, our Hellblade II review scored the game a 6/10. Reviewer Jessica Cogswell wrote, "With too much focus on cinematics and too little on creating an experience that is engaging, Senua's Saga fails to reach the same highs as its predecessor--even if it does look stunning whilst trying." Hellblade II is exclusive on console to Xbox Series X|S thanks to Microsoft owning developer Ninja Theory and the game franchise. The game is available now on Game Pass for Xbox and PC, or it can be purchased outright for $50 USD. While Microsoft is bringing some of its first-party games to rival platforms, like PlayStation 5, Hellblade II has not been confirmed for Sony's system.
