New Black Ops 3 "Ember" Trailer

With the official Black Ops 3 reveal just three days away, fans around the world would have been forgiven for not expecting to hear much more, if anything from our friends over at Treyarch until the big day on the 26th of April. However, Treyarch have been making a habit of doing things out of the ordinary, GKNova 6 and more recently the Snapchat viral are clear examples of this, and so with just three days remaining until we get the official reveal, Treyarch have released yet another teaser trailer for us to sink our teeth into. Titled "Ember", the new teaser focuses on the use of a mixture of both archive footage and live action film to draw us into the moral argument of when science goes too far, and whether or not the government could be hiding just how advanced the technology we have really is. It also seemed to gravitate upon the year 2065, 50 years into our future, which has sparked speculation about whether this could be the year that Black Ops 3 will be set.

Watch the "Ember" trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bfr053KdD6w&list=PLZeek85Kuka2o8JkicDxLOh47frrPi10X&index=1

One thing is clear; as always Treyarch are going all out to get everyone as hyped as possible before the release of the next game in the Call of Duty series. We only have to wait three more days until we get to see exactly what Treyarch have installed for us over the coming weeks.

Amidst the dark and eerie night
A choice to make – to run or fight?
      The undead horde approaches fast
Armed with weapons, till the very last
In Call of Duty: World at War - Zombies
The battle for survival never ceases
A test of skill, courage and wits
As waves of zombies just never quits
Blood-soaked grounds and a burning sky
The stakes are high, the danger nigh
But in this game, we rise above
To conquer the undead with brute, tough love
With finger on the trigger and heart in hand
We face the terror, and take a stand
For in this game, we live or die
With Call of Duty: World at War - Zombies, we must survive.

and later released worldwide on December 14, 2011.
The game features the same gameplay mechanics as its predecessor, with players fighting off waves of zombies as they try to survive for as long as possible. The game also includes a new storyline set in a Cold War-era Pentagon, with the characters from the original Zombies mode returning to fight off the undead.
The game allows for up to four players to play together via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and also includes a single-player mode with a new leaderboard system to track high scores.
Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies received mixed reviews upon release, with critics praising the game's addictive gameplay and multiplayer functionality, but criticizing the graphics and lack of content compared to the console versions of the game. Despite this, the game was a commercial success, with over a million downloads in its first week of release.

The games in this series are primarily first-person shooters that simulate real-world combat scenarios, with a heavy emphasis on multiplayer gameplay. Call of Duty has become one of the most successful and popular video game franchises in history, with millions of copies sold and numerous accolades and awards.
Each Call of Duty game typically has a different setting and storyline, ranging from World War II to present day and beyond. The games often incorporate real-world events and locations, as well as fictionalized versions of historical battles and conflicts. Single-player campaigns usually revolve around a central protagonist or group of protagonists, while multiplayer modes offer a range of gameplay options and customization features.
In addition to the video games, the Call of Duty franchise has expanded into other media, including books, comics, and a feature film. The games have also spawned a vibrant esports community, with professional players and teams competing in tournaments and leagues all over the world.

    • A Capcom Spotlight event has been announced for June 26, and it is confirmed to give us a deeper look at games like Resident Evil Requiem. Currently, four games are confirmed for Capcom Spotlight: Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata, Street Fighter 6, and Monster Hunter Wilds. The showcase will take place at 3 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. ET on June 26 and is expected to last around 40 minutes. The website for this Capcom Spotlight confirms that the next update for Monster Hunter Wilds will be the focus of its segment, but the other games will tease news and developer interviews. Resident Evil Requiem was the final reveal of this year's Summer Game Fest showcase, and GameSpot subseqently went hands-on with it. Hopefully, the public will get their first good look at gameplay during this Capcom Spotlight. GameSpot also went hands-on with Pragmata at Summer Game Fest Play Days this year, so Capcom could use this showcase to highlight its puzzle-action combat. Finally, Sagat's addition to Street Fighter 6 is imminent, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him in action during this Capcom Spotlight. While Monster Hunter Wilds and Street Fighter 6 are already out, Resident Evil Requiem will be released for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on February 27, 2026. Pragmata will follow later in the year on the same platforms, although a specific release date hasn't yet been confirmed. View the full article
