New Black Ops 3 "Ember" Trailer

With the official Black Ops 3 reveal just three days away, fans around the world would have been forgiven for not expecting to hear much more, if anything from our friends over at Treyarch until the big day on the 26th of April. However, Treyarch have been making a habit of doing things out of the ordinary, GKNova 6 and more recently the Snapchat viral are clear examples of this, and so with just three days remaining until we get the official reveal, Treyarch have released yet another teaser trailer for us to sink our teeth into. Titled "Ember", the new teaser focuses on the use of a mixture of both archive footage and live action film to draw us into the moral argument of when science goes too far, and whether or not the government could be hiding just how advanced the technology we have really is. It also seemed to gravitate upon the year 2065, 50 years into our future, which has sparked speculation about whether this could be the year that Black Ops 3 will be set.

Watch the "Ember" trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bfr053KdD6w&list=PLZeek85Kuka2o8JkicDxLOh47frrPi10X&index=1

One thing is clear; as always Treyarch are going all out to get everyone as hyped as possible before the release of the next game in the Call of Duty series. We only have to wait three more days until we get to see exactly what Treyarch have installed for us over the coming weeks.

Amidst the dark and eerie night
A choice to make – to run or fight?
      The undead horde approaches fast
Armed with weapons, till the very last
In Call of Duty: World at War - Zombies
The battle for survival never ceases
A test of skill, courage and wits
As waves of zombies just never quits
Blood-soaked grounds and a burning sky
The stakes are high, the danger nigh
But in this game, we rise above
To conquer the undead with brute, tough love
With finger on the trigger and heart in hand
We face the terror, and take a stand
For in this game, we live or die
With Call of Duty: World at War - Zombies, we must survive.

and later released worldwide on December 14, 2011.
The game features the same gameplay mechanics as its predecessor, with players fighting off waves of zombies as they try to survive for as long as possible. The game also includes a new storyline set in a Cold War-era Pentagon, with the characters from the original Zombies mode returning to fight off the undead.
The game allows for up to four players to play together via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and also includes a single-player mode with a new leaderboard system to track high scores.
Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies received mixed reviews upon release, with critics praising the game's addictive gameplay and multiplayer functionality, but criticizing the graphics and lack of content compared to the console versions of the game. Despite this, the game was a commercial success, with over a million downloads in its first week of release.

    • Rockstar Games recently added new anti-cheating measures to Grand Theft Auto 5 in order to address long-standing issues with cheaters in the game. But that move has apparently had some unexpected consequences for gamers who play the title on Steam Deck. GTA 5 is now listed as "unsupported" by Steam Deck, and it may be down to a dispute between Rockstar and Valve. As reported by The Verge, the Steam Deck compatibility message that comes up with Grand Theft Auto 5 states that "this game's anti-cheat is not configured to support Steam Deck." It also warns that "some or all of the game" doesn't function. What it doesn't say is that the part that doesn't work is Grand Theft Auto Online. In a blog post, Rockstar writes that Steam Deck doesn't support its anti-cheating BattlEye software for GTA Online. But as noted by The Verge, other titles on Steam Deck have successfully utilized BattleEye. Rockstar has seemingly decided not to work with Valve on the issue despite telling affected gamers that "all technical support questions should be directed to Valve’s Steam Deck support content and community." For now, Grand Theft Auto Online functionality has been removed from Steam Deck by Rockstar. The rest of GTA 5's story mode is still playable despite the "unsupported" tag from Valve. It's possible that a solution between the two sides can be worked out in the future. But for the moment, this is where things stand. In the meantime, gamers are already looking ahead to the long-awaited sequel, Grand Theft Auto 6, which is scheduled to arrive in Fall 2025. View the full article
    • With an entire globe to explore and various aircraft to do so in, you'd imagine that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be a technically demanding game when it takes off from the runway this year. While you'll be able to do some digital tourism on a modest PC setup, if you're aiming to play the game on its minimum or recommended specs, you're going to need quite the rig to handle the game in an "ideal" state on that platform. Developer Asobo Studio has revealed the minimum, recommended, and ideal system requirements for its flight simulation game, and while the first two tiers aren't too outrageous, the first-class travel experience certainly is demanding. The developer recommends hardware like a 40-series Nvidia GPU with 12GB of VRAM and a chunky 64GB of RAM for the game, as well as a stable 100Mbps internet connection so that you can stream in all of its high-resolution assets. The good news is that because of this cloud-centric approach, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will have a much smaller footprint on your storage device. Compared to the previous Flight Simulator game that took up to 150GB of storage capacity, you'll only need 50GB available for this year's tour of the skies. The high RAM and bandwidth requirements will help stream those assets in quickly, allowing for high-fidelity graphics. Here's a closer look at the system requirements: Microsoft Flight Simulator PC Requirements Minimum Operating system: Windows 10 Direct X version: DX12 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X / Intel Core i7-6800K GPU: Radeon RX 5700 / GeForce GTX 790 VRAM: 4GB RAM: 16GB Storage: 50GB Bandwidth: 10 Mbps Recommended Operating system: Windows 10 Direct X version: DX12 CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X / Intel Core i7-10700K GPU: Radeon RX 5700 XT / GeForce RTX 2080 VRAM: 8GB RAM: 32GB Storage: 50GB Bandwidth: 50 Mbps Ideal Operating system: Windows 10 Direct X version: DX12 CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X / Intel i7 14700K GPU: Radeon RX 7900 XT / GeForce RTX 4080 VRAM: 12GB RAM: 64GB Storage: 50GB Bandwidth: 100 Mbps Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will launch on November 19, and will also be available for Xbox Series X|S. One of the big new features in the game is a career mode, as budding aviators will be able to engage in a variety of professions, from private pilots to mountain rescue specialists. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be available for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers as a day-one launch title, but if you'd like a physical bundle, there's a $130 Premium Deluxe Edition available for preorder and it comes with tons of bonus content.
