Amidst the dark and eerie night
A choice to make – to run or fight?
The undead horde approaches fast
Armed with weapons, till the very last
In Call of Duty: World at War - Zombies
The battle for survival never ceases
A test of skill, courage and wits
As waves of zombies just never quits
Blood-soaked grounds and a burning sky
The stakes are high, the danger nigh
But in this game, we rise above
To conquer the undead with brute, tough love
With finger on the trigger and heart in hand
We face the terror, and take a stand
For in this game, we live or die
With Call of Duty: World at War - Zombies, we must survive.

The game allows for up to four players to play together via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and also includes a single-player mode with a new leaderboard system to track high scores.
Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies received mixed reviews upon release, with critics praising the game's addictive gameplay and multiplayer functionality, but criticizing the graphics and lack of content compared to the console versions of the game. Despite this, the game was a commercial success, with over a million downloads in its first week of release.
The games in this series are primarily first-person shooters that simulate real-world combat scenarios, with a heavy emphasis on multiplayer gameplay. The games often incorporate real-world events and locations, as well as fictionalized versions of historical battles and conflicts. Single-player campaigns usually revolve around a central protagonist or group of protagonists, while multiplayer modes offer a range of gameplay options and customization features.
In addition to the video games, the Call of Duty franchise has expanded into other media, including books, comics, and a feature film. The games have also spawned a vibrant esports community, with professional players and teams competing in tournaments and leagues all over the world.

Two weeks after getting its first small update, Starfield has just got another, this one focussing on performance and stability, alongside a number of gameplay issues.
All-in-all, it's not a particularly glamorous update, equating to a grand total of ten bullet points in Bethesda's patch notes, but if you've been experiencing the likes of characters not appearing where they should be, blurry textures, or a hitch-y hand scanner, this one's for you.
Full patch details can be found below, and for those wondering when Bethesda might have something more substantial ready for Starfield, the developer says it's "continuing to work on [the] larger update" that - as we learned a couple of weeks ago - will introduce the likes of Nvidia DLSS support and 32:9 ultrawide monitor support on PC, a field-of-view slider, an HDR calibration menu, and a new "Eat" button for food when it eventually arrives.

Don't hold your breath for a new Last of Us game reveal or updates on Season 2 of the HBO series tomorrow. Developer Naughty Dog is trying to manage expectations ahead of Last of Us Day, which occurs on September 26 each year. On Twitter/X, the official Naughty Dog account shared that a special stream will start at 9 AM PT/ 12 PM ET tomorrow "featuring announcements focused on art, merch, and more." That "more," however, doesn't mean new info on The Last of Us Season 2 or updates on the multiplayer title. The studio stated it "will not be discussing any future game or TV show projects." That said, Naughty Dog has been relatively open about the state of the franchise this year. Earlier this month, Neil Druckmann told Entertainment Tonight that HBO's The Last of Us Season 2 is "ready to go" once the Hollywood writers strike ends. A tentative agreement means it may be over soon. And showrunner Craig Mazin confirmed with The Los Angeles Times recently that Abby has already been cast for the sophomore season. In May, the studio disclosed that The Last of Us multiplayer game would need more time in development before getting an official unveiling. In the same social media post, Naughty Dog noted it's working on a new single-player experience presumably within the franchise. The Last of Us originally launched in 2013, so this year marks the franchise's 10-year anniversary. The game was remade as Part I for PS5 last year and became available on PC earlier this year.
