Music you listen to while playing?

What songs do you like to listen to while you're playing video games? Do you have a mix specifically for a game/genre?

 

I'm about as ignorant as they come when it comes to music, but when in doubt, I always play wrasslin' themes. Who wouldn't want to jam out to Real American while savin' the USA:

 

 

or when I'm plain just kicking ass I put on some Stone Cold to fit the mood?

I generally don't play music unless it's a solo game of something like Zombies, where I don't need to worry about dialogue or anything such. When I do though, it's probably just whatever I'm into that day. My main playlist looks somewhat like this:

The only sound I need while Playing is the Sound of Rain. That's why I have a track on my ipod that is nothing but rain and thunder.

When I play Minecraft I listen to the AC2 soundtrack.

 

When I play Zombies I listen to catchy pop music like Lily allen.

 

When I grind in Kingdom Hearts I listen to a german band called Sportfreunde Stiller.

 

Other than that I don't listen to music while playing games.

I've got my Windows Media Center set up to stream all the music on my PC to my Xbox.  8)

Aside from listening to my wife yelling at me for playing for too long, I don't listen to much. I find that it breaks my general rhythm when the music doesn't match my kill patterns...lol. Otherwise I just listen to Lovefool by the Cardigans on repeat for the enitre game.

What? Eminem? Tech N9ne? Kendrick Lamar? Hopsin? Shizzy VI? Lupe Fiasco?

Those are all critically-acclaimed (though some aren't mainstream) rap artists, who are all lyrical. Some who are even from the 90's. I don't see the problem, especially with Em and Tech

Add these in your mix and we can call it even just a couple off the top. Tech n mm are good, but they came on when it became commercial IMO
