This theory is centred on the focus that whilst in the pyramid on moon, the controller, (now Richtofen) is a hivemind, similar to what is seen in the halo and dead space universe. At the time of Tranzit it can be considered that Edward has a minority of zombies under his control. I think this because at the beginning we zombies that are some what dormant. A state we have yet to see in any zombie map. Might have to confirm that last point for me. Now what I believe to be the case is that Edward's rise to power is gradual, with Earth decimated all primary connections to the Aether are more or less severed. It's possible that those zombies are literally in limbo. Until the survivors attack. Then they wake up, or its possible Richtofen lacked the power to wake them, they were still connected to the pyramid but their deaths finally gave him the power connect fully with horde in the area of Tranzit and as we know the more that are killed. The more powerful the controller becomes, it explains Richtofens side of the Babble easter egg to some extent. Anyhow, discuss as you wish.

In response to Schrodinger, if you put the numbers in as a date, crop circles appear, and there is one visible at the start screen i think for Tranzit. Could be a reference there, will look into it.

Nice video. Similar to my thread on Maxis V Richtofen and sought of states the importance of mind control, and this video makes me think of mind control is being used via the ionosphere and reflected eletromagnetic waves. Thus through the power of Babble messages can be broadcasted in radios or disrupt natural mental thought process all over the planet, forcing someone it appears to kill. It's mind games... and its dividing humanity.

I just assumed calling it Tranzit was logical, oh well I'll try and use Green Run from now on. Just saw everyone else use it. And thanks DarkJolteon for a providing a more in depth point. It pretty much explains the whole time shift and stuff.

I never posted a thread, but prior to release, when the driver was revealed, I did say on Twitter in reply to a Codz tweet that it was plausible that Richtofen controlled him. Someone said I was wrong. I stated my point. They didnt reply. I claimed victory. Anyhow, I'm just glad to see I'm not the only who thinks this. I believe this can all be solved by simply stating its a paradox, if you at the timeline, Moon and Nuketown happen in the 60s, its plausible that if Call of the Dead is in 2012/2013 then when when the nukes hit that timeline shifts and changes meaning events in future affect the past. Thats if you see time as something that isn't linear. I'm basing this opinion of a thread I made ages ago - The Temporal Paradox Theory: Quantum Loop The one I believe is most appropriate to the story is that the timeline got corrupted. Otherwise known as the Timeline corruption hypothesis.

In the campaign mission where you are in Pakistan, one of the posters on the wall is exactly the same as the ones in Tranzit. There's a poster above it but it was hard to distinguish.

Judging by his last name, his family may have german origins perhaps, in fact I stumbled along this guy - Ernst Stuhlinher. Probably no relation but still, the guy was a genius from the sounds of it, and was extracted by the USA during operation Paperclip.

Tower of Babble: as a means of controlling the mind The Tower of Babble after easter egg - After watching MrRolfWaffles I initially thought nothing of it, and even believed this was a means of creating a link directly through time to the gang on the moon. But now I feel different, as you can see in the video a beam of light is being projected into the sky, but for what purpose. I believe I have some of answer. I believe the the beam is highly concentrated and is aimed for the Ionosphere, (The ionosphere is the electrically-charged sphere surrounding Earth's upper atmosphere. It ranges between 40 to 60 miles above the surface of the Earth.) Furthermore is a name from this type of thing and it is an "ionospheric heater". I got this from the internet - Put simply, the apparatus for HAARP is a reversal of a radio telescope; antenna send out signals instead of receiving. HAARP is the test run for a super-powerful radiowave-beaming technology that lifts areas of the ionosphere by focusing a beam and heating those areas. And the HAARP in America isn't the only one, there are many all other the world. Here are the ones I've found so far Ramfjordmoen facility - Near Tromsø, Norway Sura Ionospheric Heating Facility - Near Vasilsursk, Russia The Electric Man I can't spell his name, but he is an interesting character, it would appear he was genetically altered to become electricity, as he does show indication of being human, but that could just be a template. It's possibly that the field generated by the HAARP and Babble are exactly how he maintains his power, suspending the electricity for long periods of time. ALternatively he could have came about by harvesting energy from human bodies, and the form that came about just happened to take the shape of a human. Somethings to dwell on. Is he sentient? or was he sentient? Is there more of these types of experiments in America at the time of Tranzit waiting to be unleashed? Is Maxis the real antagonist in all this? Group 601 Inspired once more by MrRoflWaffles thread - Group 601 and Inclusion in Tranzit This group are an important variable, the towers seem to focus on mind control, as RoflWaffles states, and with this I believe that it's not just 935 we need to worry about but 601. The fact that they seem interconnected to Tranzit suggests years of infiltration and planning with connections possibly within American secrets groups or even with Richtofen and Maxis. The fact of the matter is, the powering of all the Ionospheric Heaters all other the planet, could ultimately lead to the disruption of natural mental processes, funnily enough this makes me think of 'Carrion' with the mention of synapses. What if in the case of Richtofen the use of 115 and the frequency could, but very unlikely infect the minds of a human, converting them into zombies. That sounds rediculous so I won't into it further. But anyhow it seems, mind control is the game here. It was evident with the original four, Der Riese, and Kino. That also brings me onto this, could Maxis be connected or have contacts in 601. It seems plausible. But as yet there is no evidence, so for now I'm just speculating.

I agree, i also believe it's a gateway through time. And where could it lead, straight to the moon, a means for the old gang to come back. And why so that they can get revenge. If the tower got enough power it could open up a time hole. I'm thinking of a space bridge of sorts. This is just an assumption.

It will probably direct you somewhere. Im thinking this main easter egg may create some form of temporal gateway to the original gang. The navcard could be used in the future to access a facility perhaps. I'm just speculating

It's possible that Nacht could be a source of how the infection began in America. As it was during WW2, could be the Germans had managed to infiltrate deep into America and in a test unleashed the element 115 upon that area. From there it spread. It's a possible theory but I doubt it.

It's in a cornfield where else is better to hide a secret base of sorts. Possible German infiltration I think.

Well lets just say walking in the fog and missing the bus was not such a good idea. Those things pretty much overwhelmed me as i didnt know how to get them off but now i know. Plus getting to the power is really challenging. Overall I love it, it's eerie, creepy and filled with suspense. I'm not complaining about the survival maps, although people saying their small, dull, and same I don't agree with that view, sorry. I think the fog also makes it more scary than maps in black ops 1, you can barely see where your going. The whole atmosphere is good. So thank you Treyarch. Well done.

It was just stating that i'm kind of thinking the bus driver was built by those working for 935 or was built by Richtofen possibly before he went into the pyramid. Again until release, I have no telling if I'm right. Why I mentioned the eyes. Just thought I'd rephrase it a little, as it made barely any sense my last post.

The mention of the bus driver and his anger 'kind' of and speak with literal surety that this would be the case, that he is in fact a product of Richtofen or if 935 were in Tranzit at one point. They built, and as he is a machine, his alliegance could be unknown to us. It could be that later on as more maps come out once the game is released, that he takes us to a 935 outpost. Alternatively, I also see this bus as a human trap due to it being quite confined. Agree or disagree up to you, someone on twitter disagreed and I listed my reasons, he still hasn't replied. Just one final note isn't his eyes 'blue'.

Lynx in Mythology - 'keeper of secrets' 'symbolises the the unravelling of hidden truths' and 'clairvoyance' Interesting that both the Soviets and US tried to use clairvoyance in some form during the cold war. All things considered perhaps Samantha is clairvoyant. Or could it be a method employed by the Vri Ya when speaking to Edward. It involves methods of transferring information throgh extra-sensory perception. Interesting that Lynx seems to be appear as an enemy of hell, namely Cerebus, well that was the image chosen by the Academy of Lynxes, a society in Italy. In relation to clairvoyance, their is a song by avenged sevenfold called Clairvoyant Disease, probably no relation. Too beseech - to pray. Could be to pray to hell.

My own theory centres on a temporal rift centred on the wunderwaffe tearing apart space time during the Der Riese event, i believe it also explains what happens during shang gri la loading screen, as time could be being distorted (Again most of my evidence is based upon what we see in the loading screens and the simple fact that Kino has its own version of a mainframe). I also believe this explains how the zombies travelled so quickly to Ascension and Five, it's also under my suspicion that the shield around the Giant was a time lock, hence why the clock kept resetting itself. Anyhow relating to the Tower of Babel it could be like a highly powered transmission that breaks down the walls of time and space to commune with Dempsey and the others, essentially creating a pathway for them to return to Earth. To get get revenge, and help supress the rising undead.

I'm not sure if this is possible, but could any of this relate to the Ulyssess thing of a while back, just in one of Joyce's stories, the Tower of Babel is mentioned, along with other things such as the 'Master builder'. I posted something about it in one of Alpha's threads anyhow, it relates to Irish myth. It may not be important, but Ulyssess could become recurrent somehow in Black Ops 2 zombies.

The zombies look badass, their mechanics have improved a lot from the looks of it.
