It's okay space monkey, you're new!

  3. Craig had mentioned a while back that they receive the same message through PM, so no one is getting missed. Although mulling it over now it seems like the direct message should do the job.
  4. Short answer: yes they do. Only two can be on the map at one time, this includes the time when the elevator is being called.
  5. If you are only playing every now again it can be annoying. However I still play almost daily. Many times I get into lobbies with good players, but they are not high round good. So I end up playing for hours and hours even though I already know the fate of the match. My strict rule of never backing out can be a burden in these situations. So sometimes the quitters are a relief to me.
  6. I don’t think that you are understanding Slade’s point (or mine for that matter). Posts can be short, no reason to fluff it up if not needed. That’s not the problem we are addressing. What we are speaking of are posts that contribute absolutely nothing to a conversation. By letting it slide we are not encouraging good conversation, we are encouraging spam and my little pony memes. Having standards shouldn’t be seen as a negative thing. This is not a daycare, I see no reason to coddle people. The threads with lack of effort (or duplicates) go hand in hand with the post pumping issue.
  7. Please put a little more effort into your thread if you would like more responses.
  8. I don't wish to continue a debate in this thread as it is not the place. It is the staff decision, but I will say this. If rules are not being followed or enforced, then they are only suggestions and should be titled as such. Feel free to PM me if you would like additional input.
  9. I didn't post that link as what I though policy should be. I posted it because it backs up my statement that people aren't seeing post pumping for what it is. The thread simply spun out into a debate on can we say "I agree" or "I liked this". Seems like small potatoes in comparison to bigger issue of posting nonsensical crap. This only impacts less than 1% of the community and shouldn't ruffle any feathers for the most part.
  10. I have no issue with someone doing a quick response here and there. For Example, the current black sheep of CoDZ at times has 80 plus posts similar to this content in a single day. That is ridiculous, that it what needs policed. The repeat offenders are what I think need a watchful eye.
  11. I would start with post pumping; it is both too vague where needed and too detailed where problems don't really occur. When coached on post pumping the general take away always seems to only be don't post "I agree". As you can see in the following link http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/index.php/topic/158976-non-response-responses/ . However the real problem is with posts like this: These are the posts that add no substance whatsoever to the forum. However they never seem to be addressed. I think the reasoning is that post pumping seems to be in a grey area. Duplicate posts seem to be on the rise. Folks starting up new threads daily for information that we have already worked on months ago. As stated in the CoC it is on the members to know the previously posted content. Is this no longer the standard? Signatures- If you look at my signature below it is well above the maximum size. However compared to most it is quite modest. I understand at one time there was an issue with people adding 14 huge pictures to their signatures and it taking quite some time to scroll through the page. So the current state is that no one seems to follow this rule so I would recommend amending it, removing it, or enforcing it. For a CoC we shouldn't pick and choose which rules to follow, ya feel me? As far as what needs added, you tell me. What are your day-to-day issue that you can do nothing about because to rules have been set to prevent it?
  12. Revising/updating the CoC some rules are present but never enforced. Others should be present but are not, so they can't be enforced.
  13. Crap now I'm a lady. I need to bust out 200 posts tonight lol. Good work boys.
  14. Two days of 102 degree fever, no bueno.

Avoid taking too much of medicine unless needed. Have lots of green tea.

  15. Three of us posted up on the ledge, the fourth sits on the broken column with the sliquifier taking the majority of the zombies. Ammo for the sliq was only an issue once as drops are plentiful in Black Ops II.
  16. What benifit would this have for the forum?
  17. Yes, you must not be familiar with that end. CoDZ is basically a utopia compared to the competitive forums. Do you remember bluntman? Imagine a forum with 500 of him. Constantly spamming and messaging to get their point across or to call someone out for some minor flaw in their game (typically with some racial slurs mixed in there). It's not the people making the records it's more the folks who follow them around.
  18. Did a similar 4 person strat with SVU in place of AN, all four member camped and we made it to round 49. (one member trading in SVU for mark 2 at 45). Took forever, but it was a ton of fun.
  19. I definitely understand where you are coming from with the complaints ect. It's pretty much the other side of the community cod-wise and I don't think that is the audience CoDZ needs to targeting at the moment. However, a small CoDZ leaderboard could be good fun for our regular members and be more reasonably manged. I would steer clear of representing it as the standard for the entire zombies community.
  20. Looks good broski. Can't wait to rock some of these down the road.
  21. Infest+Warrior, don't underestimate the amount of work that is needed to own and operate a high round leaderboard. In order to prove the legitamacy of the record the user will have to provide full game play which will need reviewed (Most use the Twitch archive feature for this). This would be a huge undertaking requiring hours and hours of work on your behalf. It would also be to your benefit to learn the ins and out of game mods/glitches. Just a fair warning.
  22. I can appreciate your use of sesh instead of session. Unnecessary abbreviations are big for me. Welcome to site my dude, have yourself a time!
  23. Welcome to the forum! Perhaps I was being brash when I said anyone could do it. I sometimes take basic zombie skills for granted as I am so deep within the community. Kiting is unavoidable in zombies and in many cases It is the only means to survive. I just disagree with the statement that camping is a strategy for those who lack the ability to train. My Wife ran a train for me while I went to the restroom last night. She is basically inept when it comes to gaming, but she was able to complete this task.
  24. I would be skeptical even with him Jimmy Z, he is a master troll. Remember his leaks to the map in Ireland lol. Maybe it's less him trolling and us reading into every letter he tweets.
  25. I don't really feel like people camp because they lack the skill to train. It is literally just running in a circle, it’s basically mindless and anyone can do it. The difference between us "normies" and the high round folks is time and determination.Skill doesn't fall into training until much later in the game as ammo becomes ineffective in most cases. The player must strategize ammo for wonder weapons and how to best utilize traps. Training is basically manipulating the AI mechanics of the game. This is why treyarch put so many obstructions in and doesn't put weapons in the wide open spaces (the town on tranzit, upside down room on Die Rise). I prefer the tight maps as it brings true challenge to the game.
