  1. One thing has been bugging me about it. Did you have your blue eyes every time you jumped from skull to knife? Yep. It would just jump from skull to knife and still have blue eyes and 5 tally marks. The number of tallies and the blue eyes were constant, only the rank itself ever changed. This doesn't necessarily mean what you said about the tally marks being based on consecutive days played is wrong (I in fact believe that is how it is intended to work), it just means the ranking system can be really glitchy for some people (including myself). Which might be one of the reasons nobody has been able to comprehensively figure the system out yet.
  2. Sometimes the stats work oddly. Mine, for example, only seems to move in great leaps at a time. When I first started playing I went from Crossed bones, 5 tallies -> Skull, blue eyes (5 tallies) -> Skull w/ knife, blue eyes (5 tallies). A couple weeks ago I had a crappy game and it leaped back down to Skull, blue eyes, then a few days later after a good game it came back to Skull w/ knife, blue eyes (which is where it's at now). During this whole time the number of tallies never changed, just the rank. TL;DR: The zombies ranking system is weird.
  3. Why? If I remember correctly, when doing the Maxis partition of the EE you only need EMPs to kill the Avogadro under the tower, which dies in one EMP. Why do two people need EMPs?
  4. Well, there was a lot of speculation we'd be going to the UK... Looks like we might be going to the next country over instead .
  5. PhD Flopper, Deadshot Daquiri, Tombstone, Who's Who.
  6. In Tranzit Richtofen tells Samuel he is the only one who can hear him.
  7. I've had this glitch twice before, but it seems as though it goes away if you reacquire Who's Who. You'll be able to cycle weapons and use claymore/semtex/trample steams again. Still really annoying if you have 5 or 6 perks and go down because then you have to wait for the next minion round to reacquire Who's Who.
  8. There will never be a better map than Der Riese.
  9. It does. I've been fortunate to never have the game kill me there (though I have been killed by the box slide), but I've watched it happen to friends.
  10. I have a feeling that accuracy isn't the only variable given that there are so many people claiming to get 100% accuracy and not get the perk.
  11. I could live without the power station becoming a mini-map, but I still think they need to have all 3 game modes (Surival, Grief, Turned) on each of the mini-maps and Nuketown. The fact they released Diner as a map and only added Turned is practically taunting us. Even if they don't add power station or flesh out Die Rise into multiple mini-maps, they still should make all the game modes available for the existing maps.
  12. If it's worth anything, I can confirm that you can miss semtexes and claymores (minions run past them, triggering them but not getting hit (as indicated by not getting a point increase upon claymore explosion)) and still get the free perk and point bonus.
  13. its because the roof has so many spawn points True, but I'd imagine that the game would still try to spawn a number of zombies in a given area relative to the number of players in that area. It doesn't make sense for 90% of the zombies to spawn near one player and only have 10% spawn near another. If the game simply works by activating spawn points near a player and not distributing the number of zombies spawned by that area relative to distance from the player and how many players are withing range of that spawn point, that should be changed.
  14. What I want: Survival on Diner. I'm surprised they didn't add it when they added Turned to diner. Grief on Nuketown, Bus Depot, and Diner. These are all maps that would be great for it. Turned on Nuketown, Bus Depot, Town, and farm. These are all small maps that would be great for the game mode. The Power Station from Tranzit should be it's own mini-map since all the other areas on Tranzit (that can be reached via the bus that is) are playable. It should have Survival, Grief, and Turned. Die Rise should have it's own mini-map(s) like Tranzit did. As was suggested a few posts above me, the roof(with he floor immediately beneath it) could make a nice stand-alone area that'd be great for Survival, Grief, and Turned. The Power area (both floors) would also be good for all three game modes. Honestly, I'm surpirsed they never added Grief to Bus Depot/Nuketown, surprised they didn't add Turned to everything (excluding Tranzit/Die Rise), and surprised they only gave the Diner Turned. The Diner would be great for Survival/Grief, especially if they made it to where the roof of the Diner could be opened. The rest I'm not surprised they didn't add, but would still like to see them nonetheless.
  15. In BO2, I'd say the AN-94 is the best gun on the wall, especially when PaP'd. It's only real downside is that the location is a bit inconvenient. I do like the SVU-AS, however, for the same reason I love the DSR 50: It's has the potential to score one-shot-kills at high rounds. Certain trains aren't optimal for this, but if you can get the zombie into a straight line for a second or two it isn't that hard to score a collateral headshot. The fact the SVU-AS has practically no sway and is semi-automatic with 12 rounds in a mag makes it possible to score multiple collateral headshots consecutively. So the SVU-AS is a good option as well, The Colt M16A1 is a good weapon, and is conveniently placed if you're running a train in the box room of the in the room adjacent to it. And who doesn't love an under-barrel grenade launcher? The PDW-57 is a good weapon with a nice mag size. It can be a good choice depending on where you choose to train/camp. Other than those four, there aren't really any worth PaPing. The MP5, B23R, AK74u, Remington 870 MCS, Olympia, and M14 are too weak and/or inconveniently placed.
  16. Spawn zones are really annoying. Some of the best training/camping spots on the map are boring because the people training/camping on the roof get floods of zombies while you get to kill one every 10 seconds. I don't know why the roof is such a hotspot for zombie activity.
  17. So arrogance then? Seriously bro, anyone who says they only die from glitches is a liar. He didn't say he only died from glitches, he said he mostly dies from glitches. It's hard to believe the accounts of anybody who claims to be good and doesn't have videos to back it up, but I wouldn't be too surprised if he was telling the truth. I've had my fair share of Die Rise games end due to stupid glitches (though it's definitely not my #1 cause of deaths).
  18. I think it's fine with just the 4 original perks (though Double Tap's been improved) and the Pack-a-Punch. Besides, having more perks on the map means potentially having to wait even longer before Juggernog appears.
