  1. Very cool find! I think it is most likely a primitive version of Vulture Aid, like the Sleight of Hand Soda at Kino that way mentioned.
  2. Now that would be pretty interesting. Perhaps in the order you add the parts will matter, as well, and the final part would actually define the gun for what it is when you PaP it. That would be a very cool feature that would make the map extremely unique.
  3. AR: The SMR/Smiler (JK, the M27/Mystifier) SMG: M1927/Speak Easy Sniper: SVU/Shadowy Veil Utilizer LMG: LSAT/FSIRT Pistol: Executioner/Voice of Justice Special: Crossbow/Awful Lawton Wunder Weapon: Blundergat/Vitrolic Withering
  4. @TAMB Hahahahaha, that day will come soon my friend! (Hopefully September 2nd, the release of the final DLC ) @Infest Thank you vurry much for the feedback! It is pretty interesting what could come up as 935's primitive super soldiers. @Mocking I feel like having a tank to use against the hoard would be pretty dang overpowered too @MrFrenzyBox That is very much a possibility. The Mauser Model 1915 dates the whole idea of a 935 base to 1915, and the flu pandemic was 3 years after that year. Maybe the Spanish Flu was way more than just a flu 8-) @SirPlasticDucky I can't honestly say I've been a believer the entire time, but now it seems pretty clear now. Hopefully you and I are right! Just a few more weeks until we know.
  5. One thing this blueprint tells us is that somehow Maxis has a connection to Paul and Wilhelm Mauser, or at least the Mauser Arms Manufacturing Line. Among these weapons created by Paul and Wilhelm was the M1911, Gewher 43, 48, and 71, and the Karbiner 98k. The Gewher 43 and the Kar 98k happen to be the wall guns in the Mainframe of Der Riese, which is interesting, and the M1911 is the startring gun for zombies. Many of their weapon and cartridge designs were adopted by the German Army. The M1911 (or Model 1911) is pretty much an earlier version of the M1916 that Speedo had found earlier. So basically, this gun we are now seeing is the model created the year before the M1916. Focusing past the gun itself, that year is important. It's the year 1915, mid WWI, which means we're past the Tunguska event and the discovery of 115. It's very possible that Group 935 had been formed by then, and Maxis was working with the Mauser company to make weapons to supply the Germans. This is possibly where the birth of Wunder Weapons took place. In summary, the important things are that we're being told that the year is 1915, and that Dr. Maxis was working with the Mauser company to supply weapons and possibly Wunder Weapons to the Germans. About the gun: The weapon is a pretty high caliber long range fully automatic pistol. The fire rate isn't extremely high on it, though. This is more than likely going to be a usable weapon on the next map, but the gun itself isn't that important. I think that the actual WWI dating is, and that perhaps we're travelling to that time period and possibly to an arms developing facility.
  6. Whaddup guys, So on 3arc's Facebook page, they've been posting some very interesting letters that seem to connect to the O4 characters. If you want to see them, check out GRILL's thread here. One of the notes that was on there really stuck out to me, though. 'twas the note that supposedly relates to Dempsey, the third one. Have a look: (creds to GRILL) Basically, what this note is saying is that the writer is hearing a ton of military rumors that seem pretty ridiculous, such as lights in the sky, a plague, and a giant metal man. In real life these rumors would sound absolutely so out there that they should be ignored, but in the zombies world, we've honestly heard of this before. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DLC 4 1. UFOs At Der Riese, we had a couple blueprints of a Vril Spacecraft powered by Die Glocke, so we know that Group 935 was working on things like UFOs and communicating with the Vril. All of that is covered in a thread I made here. Basically, The projects at Der Riese connected to the Vril which connected to Agartha which connected to Giants. These were the blueprints: And we saw these "lights in the sky"/UFOs at Eagle's Nest, a 935 Base in Siberia. Also, we know that 935 was trying to link MTDs from Der Riese to France from a plate that was on the ground there near a teleporter. (I'm struggling to find a picture ATM :| ) So, I believe we can see who may be responsible for these lights in the sky way back when. Do keep in mind all of these were powered by Die Glocke technology, that'll be important later. (I'm a little obsessed with that concept.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. Plague Next up is this "plague" they're talking about. Though I don't have a great amount of evidence to back this, I believe this "plague" is simply the zombies resurrected by 115. There has been no other reference of one that I know of in the storyline so far. Plus, it bears a similarity to a zombie. Warning: Somewhat disturbing picture ahead! Zombie: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. Metal Giant Finally, we come to the most interesting part of the note. They spoke of a giant metal man being at the site in Northern France. One thing I think we should note is that the map Der Riese is translated to mean "the giant". Could this large metal man have been worked on in Der Riese's mainframe, powered by all the electricity that was cored above the PaP? As the Vril 7 Treibwerk was moved to Eagle's Nest, perhaps this man was moved to the Northern France base. Maybe it is a war machine that was created like the other Wunder Weapons at Der Riese. Or maybe it was a way to reach Agartha. Legend has it Giants live down there with the Elite of mankind, and post-Buried we know that Maxis has wanted to take a trip down there for a long time. Maybe he'll enter the machine and make his way down, and that's what he meant by "I'll finally reach Agartha!" Like all Vril connections, I'm guessing the technology powering it will be of Die Glocke, and hopefully we'll actually see Die Glocke at this next map. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4. Paris Perhaps? Through this note, it seems pretty clear that we're going to be somewhere in Northern France for the last DLC. But the question is: Where? Well, 3arc seems to be listening to what the community have been asking for, considering we're more than likely (almost indefintiely) seeing the O4 back in the next DLC. Well, one place we've been asking for is France. France was going to be the final DLC for BO, but the idea was nixed last second because it wasn't of high enough caliber. Well, at this point in time, it's pretty much of high enough caliber IMO. And honestly, I can't think of anywhere else we could go in northern France, even though Paris is on the north/central Paris line. Though there is no definitive proof, I believe by logic we may be visiting the city of love ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for reading! Please let me know what you think! Any feedback, positive or negative, is ok with me. bagel_, out. HUGE UPDATE (That means huge font) VB_9esQucmw So much was seen in this. We are getting the O4 back. The whole "Giant Metal Man" thing is literal and will be in the next map, and the whole plague thing was subliminally seen in the trailer. We appear to be seeing the robot from a trench. Trench warfare was common in WWI, which took place around 1915 in France. Looking up trench warfare, this popped up: The area between opposing trench lines (known as "no man's land") was fully exposed to artillery fire from both sides. Attacks, even if successful, often sustained severe casualties as a matter of course. Perhaps part of the new map will be part in trenches, and will include a NML area where the Giant is seen! Also, we saw the 935 logo over a body torn apart on an examination table. Moar proof of 935! Thanks to Noah for that pic. What do you guys think?
  7. Oh my god, the beauty. Give me about a little to read this and get back to you, but the work put into it is obvious. Amazing job.
  8. I agree with everything you said, but the delivery was quite mean to be honest. No need for air quotes around the word "theories" because what people think up are just that. "Theory" n. 1.A supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something.
  9. It would be interesting if the note was written by Takeo, considering he was an agent and was able to take Nikolai way back before they were Richtofen's test subjects. The Soviets could be what was referred to as "barbarians" in the letter. However, I'm not sure about the first note being written by Richtofen, as it refers to him in the third person, but it is definitely about him. We know no other man as "The Doctor. Capital 'D'". I think it's more of a hint that we're seeing the O4 again, either as characters or in the map itself. We should just try to use the information they're giving us as well as we can.
  10. To me it looks like a 4 or a 5, but I have bad eyes, and the image can't be real life quality, so it seems like more of a blur to me
  11. Even if steps are removed and it's possible to do solo, keep in mind that the reward would allow the player unlimited Quick Revives, which would mean you can't lose. I assume it will be cut short like the MotD Easter Egg solo, but it's still worth a try. Good luck!
  12. Here's a post from 2 years ago with LOADS of challenges to try. http://callofdutyzombies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=100&t=17414
  13. Um, what? This thread hasn't been posted in for a year, and all I'm getting from it is gibberish. Please explain...?
  14. Russman and Takeo. Every time I play them, I have better games for some reason. And I have no problem with their quotes.
  15. Hey Flatty! Welcome to ze forums! You seem to know how to work the BBCode and such already which is awesome, and you seem like a pretty cool guy. This site is definitely the right place to be for anyone interested in all things zombies. Hopefully now that you have an account, you can join in on the theorizing and discussion. Hopefully I'll see you around the forum!
  16. Though I haven't tried it, perhaps it is possible to do the Easter Egg solo. Was it on Custom Games or Solo Play? Also note that certain steps would be very hard or impossible to do solo, like the Wisp Step.
  17. It must play when you are last alive and everyone else has bled out completely. I've heard it as well in the showers, and I love it. It's suited for the panic you get while your friends are expecting you to clutch.
  18. Nice job, I'll be submitting my high rounds soon enough. To conserve space, I think you should put all of the Top 10's of every map together in a spoiler, and from there separate it by using different sizes and fonts. It will make it look very clean and official that way. (Sorry, but my OCD kills me on this forum )
  19. I've honestly already grown bored of Buried. Though it had an OK map design and such, the game really is quite repetitive. You free the guy, give him booze, buy the same perks in the same order, go through the ghost house, navigate the maze without a problem, camp in the PaP, return to processing, and camp until round 30. I could almost compare it to TranZit. To me, MotD was a better map by far.
  20. A few off the top of my head: -First Room -Gun Specific (Shotties only, snipers only, pistols only, etc.) -Tough Areas of Maps, like the Maze in Buried, the Power Room in Die Rise, or the Cabin in TranZit. -No Perks -No PaP -No Trains
  21. I think MotD won't have a direct connection to the storyline, but perhaps a metaphorical connection. Think of it this way: The entire cycles of MotD started by Arlington making the plan and killing Fergusson. When the cycle was broken, let's say everything returned to normal. What if the entire storyline we've seen so far has been started by a single action, like Richtofen touching the MPD, or even earlier than that, like Peter being sent into Verruckt, and sense then, we've been stuck in a loop where whenever someone dies and their fate is changed by the zombies, we are reverted back to the beginning of the story. Perhaps to end the entitre zombies storyline we have to break the cycle. We need to make sure Peter never infiltrated 935, that Samantha never entered the MPD, that the Der Riese outbreak didn't occur, and the world never ended. This would give us a direct connection to the real world, where David Mason lives in 2025.
  22. Welcome to the forum Beat! And very nice post for a newbie around here. This is an excellent guide to reference for every factor of the Time Bomb, very detailed and thought out.
  23. Glad to see I could help. TBSZ is correct about both perks, and here's some of the info you said you needed: Olympia to a Ray Gun Persistent Upgrade is only in solo. Flopper: Lose it by taking a significant amount of damage from falling off of a ledge, or by downing yourself with grenades. It does have a tendency to disappear between games, but I've had it carried over between games. Tombstone: I'm 50% sure you lose it by failing to be revived after being downed. I've never had it carry over for me between games. I've also compiled a few video guides to go with each description on how to get the upgrades. You can just copy and paste the coding to the OP if you want to add them. 24. I agree with what everyone's said before; This sort of zombie-infection is different then the usual Walking Dead-ish type of thing. The zombies we've killed don't try to infect us through bites, they claw and swat to kill. And once you're dead, someway or another, 115 will end up in your system and you'll become zombiefied. Even if one of our 4 has been bitten, it doesn't matter because they've already gotten enough 115 in their system to make them a walking perk drink. Only when they're dead will the 115 take its toll. I think the whole torn up look is for character development. It makes it seem like they've been through such rough times rather then being through an easy untouched life.
  25. Thank you guys very much for the feedback!
