    Difficulty..

I haven't really noticed either, its kinda super easy and by round 10 I pretty much have everything I need normally (jug, staminup, ice staff if I feel like turning ultimate, ulls arrow, and mp 40 for points). The mud is like the water on cord but easier because you can air sprint. Sprint and jump at same time and you sprint while you're in the air basically. Only thing that's a piss off is the robots stomping. I train at the generator near fire staff (not starting room one). Its a pretty easy spot actually.

    The Panzer

    1) As I normally rock fire or ice staff yes they're effective on him. The fire staff puts him down in about 3-5 shots and that was when he was in the middle of a horde. 2) The head is like the only place you should be shooting him if you don't have ray gun or staff yet. Unless he grabs you, then u shoot his arm. 3) Not sure but I don't think it is. At least not in co-op. 4) Only got grabbed once and it was because I stopped moving. So if you keep running you shouldn't get hit by it. 5) no idea haven't counted rounds between spawn times yet. 6) Really the fire staff puts him down about the easiest barring the mark 2. Haven't tried lightning but could be as effective.
  3. But thing is they didn't. The obvious ending would have been to explain simply how and whhrre maxis or richtofen would go next then explain how the zombies had really started. A quick clean ending, we would have seen either maxis and Sam in agartha or richtofen square off against whatever was in the aether before Sam. Would have been much easier than just shafing the whole storyline with and ending that screams we just don't give a fuck.
  4. well ok not bad but I'll add this lastly. Has there ever been an instance where 115 just suddenly displaced time and space? All I can remember is it being used intentionally for a specific purpose but having other adverse effects. Check all the stuff. Gersch devices were for teleportation but adversely is a black hole for zombies. The teleporters overshoot the mark sometimes and send them to different locations (ex. CoTD). I just really need an explanation as to how she would have up and moved from the moon to agartha. Not only that but completely leaving richtofens body behind. Which means he could have used his body again. But didn't.
  5. Are you going to argue about this thread or just try to dispute the entire storyline? Btw, electrical energy is what makes a brain and a hard drive tick. Maxis wasn't evil though. He'd have no reason to do that. There was nothing to avenge yet. This game has souls in it. Maxis still has a soul to him. I think it is because Maxis has a tradition of talking through radios. So just like the characters are dolls, the radios are just Maxis speaking through an intercom. That's the immediate implication, however. The true one I've laid out. You aren't really even talking about this thread anymore. You're entire understanding of the storyline is completely different from anything I've ever heard. Discussion of that nature would better take place in a more appropriate thread. I... tend to agree with him on this one. It's rude to quote the entire huge long post. Ever heard of the London Blitz? No? Go look it up. Do you also have a gramophone and the need to casually go into the basement at the sound of a siren? No. No, Maxis either continues the cycle or breaks it. His choice. No different than ours in-game. She was in Agartha. It literally mattered not what body she was in. And when she became God she fixed everything anyway. She doesn't know it will be a time loop. But she does know she doesn't want power. It'd be foolish to think otherwise. "Only those who don't want power know how to use it." And there can surely be more zombies. I specifically put a spot for that on the chart at the top of the post. My bad I'm doing this on phone and its too much hassle to go back and cut quotes to what I want. Interesting how you skipped over the how she got into agartha in the first place part, unless you're really gonna go with my quantum mechanics statement. Also for the sirens, I'll let you have that as I've never been to Germany so idk what those things go off for. Then if maxis is the one continuing the loop, why does Sam keep going along with it if she knows what happens?
  6. Yes they need to quit because they've cleaned up this story and given it a legitimate end, that could lead to another whole new story of codzombies. Please treyarch quit trying to give us an ending that rationalizes the current story and giving us more zombies. You do realise that Zombies is Treyarchs biggest money maker right? It was so popular that Black Ops 1 re released w@w maps. w@W and Black Ops two saw Treyarchs DLC outselling everything else on the marketplace, and even outselling most other games. You wouldn't give up something that is your saving grace would you. You say the story needs to end? There is still so many unanswered questions that may or may not ever be answered, thats not to say i wont be happy if they stopped zombies. I hate the new characters and i hate the over the top Easter eggs when it should be about figuring out the story. However if they were to Leave it at buried it would be a mistake. I still believe Moon would have been the perfect ending The original 4 and Samantha stuck in Richtofens body on the Moon with no way to get back maxis destroyed the earth in revenge Richtofen in control of absolutely nothing as The earth is destroyed. You telling me Buried ending is better than that? Way to over complicate a supposed ending Might aswell have gone back to Der Riese "This is where it all began, Is this where it all Ends?" It is not their biggest money maker. That's mistake one. Oh call of duty dlc was outselling everything else on the market? That's new and only happens because of treyarchs zombies. Disregard that MW3 made more money than bo1 because it sold multiplayer only dlc. I said the story needed to end? Or that the story was complete at buried? Because I'm almost sure I said the latter. Bo1 re released maps while bo2 opted to sell even more multiplayer...hmm guessing they're going with infinity wards money making deal because you know, at any given time there's more people playing mp than zombies so it naturally sells more? But no you're right zombies is the biggest money maker. Over the top Easter eggs? Oh you mean like how moons Easter egg was one spanning 3 maps right? Not simply shooting targets like in buried right? Can't say anything bout moon, map was fun and had an Easter egg that made the game ez mode. Story wise on buried rich says he's perfectly fine leaving them for dead there. That's that.
  7. 1) You're right. Its WW2 based on the complete fact of nothing. (its 2013 and the only tech I have in my room is my tv and Xbox, I don't have cable cuz I don't watch tv). 2) Okay so the plan is that Samantha god is gonna create 935 to trap herself in a time loop or maxis creates 935 to time loop themselves? 3) Samantha was last seen in moon. In richtofens body. Which maxis specifically asked if he doesn't want it back on buried. But no lets ignore that one because element 115 just suddenly decided its gonna pull her out that body, send her not only back in time but to a place of myth, to have an 8 year old girl control zombies. DAMN YOU QUANTUM MECHANICS FOR YOUR UNCERTAINTY THEORY!!!!!!!! 4) And here's the kicker, Sam, who just offhandedly became god has now decided, Ey, trapping yourself in time loops be fun dawg, lets do dat again. -.- yep. Sheer brilliance. This also means that there would be no more zombies. So hey if there's no zombies in the next treyarch game I'll accept your theory.
  8. Yes they need to quit because they've cleaned up this story and given it a legitimate end, that could lead to another whole new story of codzombies. Please treyarch quit trying to give us an ending that rationalizes the current story and giving us more zombies.
  9. I was actually waiting for you to post this. Believe it or not I knew you would, your enthusiasm for the zombies storyline practically drips off my phone screen. Among all of us here at codz I think it might of been the toughest for you to swallow. :/
  10. Song is awesome for me cuz I'm a death metal lover and kinda reminds me of Elena from coming home and 115, AWESOME INTRUMENTALS ON THIS BEAST.
  11. Well by those standards there's no way h.g.wells could have thought up and wrote war of the worlds is there? There's no way Stephen king could have wrote all the horror fantasies he did either huh? These 2 kids look about 11 and 13 and kids that age normally have a pretty overactive imagination. Cia, CDC, the pentagon? Those things all existed if we're going with fated timeline where its the beginning of WW2.
  12. And sloth being richtofens son who would be the Eddie Sam is referring too...? Come on man now your just in2deep. My thoughts on the matter are pretty much settled that the storyline so far has been given the shaft. But it actually does a pretty clean job of setting us up for a possible fourth installment of zombies, hopefully this time in the real world. Even though the ending was half assed and piss offish, it was one of the cleanest ways they could have broken us from this storyline and start a potential second.
  13. But why? Eddie didn't even get his turn... If were going by current knowledge I'd assume Eddie had his turn when he was in the aether ( Rich's blue eyed zombs).
  14. Gonna assume there won't be a fourth season of cod zombies as of...right...now. :'(
  15. No date in zombies we've been given can even be considered cannon if this is supposed to be the true ending of zombies. It was just 2 kids making up stories the whole time. Pardon my French, but...Fuck. Man. Just what the fuck.-.- The only possible way to make sense of this is if the ending was truly how it started. That rich, watched maxis learned from him then became smarter than him. But then even if you say that rich isn't much older than Sam so nowhere in the storyline would make sense. Man the storyline just got shafted so hard.
  16. My first sad attempt at putting together a theory. Enjoi. I'll try to avoid using time paradoxes as much as possible. I'll start with the trailer: So this is supposedly Sam Maxis giving us her take on the story of call of duty zombies and how it all began. The only problem is, given the date shown in the trailer, many have assumed Sam wasn't even born yet. However, maybe we're wrong and Sam had actually been born around or slightly before this time? The map is apparently taking place in 1918 which is pretty much the end of WWI. We're shown some footage of soldiers cracking open some kind of grave/burial ground or something, underneath a megalith structure (refer to the thread by PINNAZ). After they've opened through to the next side, a zombie rushes them, with what seems to be purple eyes and wearing some quite interesting stuff. The zombie is wearing the armor of the Knights Templar. This is where it gets really interesting for me regarding the location of the map and the year of the war. Common sci-fi knowledge tells us that most things that turn into a zombie either have to be killed by a zombie, or turned into one by other means while alive, but never becoming one after you've already died and been dead for a while. This information, when you consider when the Templars organization existed (1119-1312), is (pardon my french) kinda fucking impressive. Little templar info: The Templars' existence was tied closely to the Crusades; when the Holy Land was lost, support for the Order faded. Rumours about the Templars' secret initiation ceremony created mistrust and King Philip IV of France, deeply in debt to the Order, took advantage of the situation. In 1307, many of the Order's members in France were arrested, tortured into giving false confessions, and then burned at the stake.[9] Under pressure from King Philip, Pope Clement V disbanded the Order in 1312. The abrupt disappearance of a major part of the European infrastructure gave rise to speculation and legends, which have kept the "Templar" name alive into the modern day. Which means that we just saw a zombie over 600 years old rush out of a tomb to kill them. Out of fascination from this and info from the thread by PINNAZ, I did a quick google search on graves of templars in France, and didn't find much. Can't say I was too surprised though as many of them got burned at the stake (and we all know if its one thing a zombie wont survive its fire), or died in battles far away from their country. Now I honestly have to say I avoided going into the whole Paris catacombs idea here but this is what I got: Templars: In 1120, the French knight Hugues de Payens approached King Baldwin II of Jerusalem and Warmund, Patriarch of Jerusalem and proposed creating a monastic order for the protection of these pilgrims. King Baldwin and Patriarch Warmund agreed to the request, probably at the Council of Nablus in January 1120, and the king granted the Templars a headquarters in a wing of the royal palace on the Temple Mount in the captured Al-Aqsa Mosque.[11] The Temple Mount had a mystique because it was above what was believed to be the ruins of the Temple of Solomon.[5][12] The Crusaders therefore referred to the Al Aqsa Mosque as Solomon's Temple, and it was from this location that the new Order took the name of Poor Knights of Christ and the Temple of Solomon, or "Templar" knights. The Order, with about nine knights including Godfrey de Saint-Omer and André de Montbard, had few financial resources and relied on donations to survive. Their emblem was of two knights riding on a single horse, emphasising the Order's poverty.[13] And Catacombs: Since Roman times, Paris has buried its dead on the outskirts of the city, but habits changed with the rise of Christianity and its practice of burying its faithful in the consecrated ground under and around its churches, no matter their location. By the 10th century, many of Paris's parish cemeteries were well within city limits, and eventually some, because of their central location in dense urban growth, were unable to expand and became overcrowded. An attempt to remedy this situation came in the early 12th century with the opening of a central mass burial ground for those not wealthy enough to pay for a church burial. Depending on the St. Opportune church near Paris's central Les Halles district, this cemetery had its own Saints Innocents church and parish appellation by the end of the same century. Eventually, Paris's other churches adopted the technique of mass inhumation as well. Once an excavation in one section of the cemetery was full, it would be covered over and another opened. Residues resulting from the decaying of organic matter, a process often chemically accelerated with the use of lime, entered directly into the earth, creating a situation unacceptable for a city whose then-principal source of water was wells. I wont say much about it since a even I dont support the whole catacombs idea much but its the only way I could even see templars coming out of a hole in the wall making sense. Next we see our main zombies cast from BO1 make a return (Tank, Nikolai, Takeo, Richtofen), and see them murdering zombies with axes, katanas and knives, till eventually they find themselves in a room in a mexican standoff. However they soon realize that wait these guys are all fighting on the same team, we're the allied powers. I've seen some people assume that this means Nik, Tank and Tak all new each other beforehand, but I looked at it more realistically. Japan, Russia and the U.S were all members of the allied powers in WWI, so naturally they looked at what country each was fighting for (probably just went by uniform style) and decided that these arent the enemy, the enemy is the fucking german over there. So Tank walks over to the very distraught looking Richtofen, who seems to have been operating on a body. Not to mention the body looks SURPRISINGLY like the picture of Dr. Maxis we were shown in the same trailer. Cue giant robot and end scene. No words for whatever the fuck that shit was necessary for. Now what I found strange was that Richtofen looked almost remorseful after the entrance of the 3 soldiers. But that's only because we have ever seen rich after he went completely insane. Who's to say that once upon a time, he wasn't just an ordinary genius scientist? No not that its richtofen after going into the MPD returning to his old body and feeling sorry. As I said I'm avoiding time stuff. My take on the whole scenario is gonna be that in the true beginning, it was contact with either the vril, or (since as they're using templars, why not) some other spiritual controller (like in MoTD we have the devil controlling them). Possibly the forces that inhabited the aether before Sam and Rich, were truly much more powerful than they could have truly imagined. Maybe these four elements that we're supposed to access are when used what creates the zombies and it was only by some ancient ritual dating back to the time of the templars did someone find out about it and attempt it and successfully turn the templars into an army of the walking dead and got trapped underground. Idk these are just my thoughts and attempt at a half assed theory. :P
  17. Rich's ending should be even more cannon with sams something far more powerful than you lies here and motd's devil in control. Not to mention if rich was at full power why was he sharing Samuels body instead of fully taking control?
  18. Love it. This hypothesis sounds much more plausible than the whole maxis is Brock and was trapped in the tunnels (Shangri la), idea that's been posted. Would also explain how maxis was able to design the paralyzer and time bomb and also lends some credence to fated titan's hypothesis of Leroy being a successful 115 test soldier.
  19. There was also another theory of him being from the mystical race of the argata people, made by someone else. If anything finding how he got stuck in buried, in a jail cell might be some good evidence for him being a successful test subject. But as for now I'm 50/50 on him being from agarta or being a 115 super soldier.

    Tectonic shift

Well the plates beneath the earth's mantle are constantly moving so I'm not too sure what kind of effect nuclear bombs would have on it. Of course nuclear power is extremely strong, but the effect it would have on geomagnetic events like plate tectonics is arguable. The force from a nuclear blast as compared to the size of the earth is highly unlikely. Even researchers argue the possibility of the whole idea. Most settle on the earth's frequent plate movement stopping in certain locations and a nuke going off only giving it the jump start to happen a bit sooner than it would naturally. In any case its much more likely for there to be a nuclear winter than massive plate shifting after the maxis nukes. And as for buried, plate tectonics and continental drift are two completely unrelated events as the movement inside the earth's crust doesn't correlate with the movements of the continents on the surface. If it was everytime there was a decent size earthquake, the location of places would change drastically. ;)
  21. Obviously the Golden spork. Any melee weapon that can be a one shot kill into rounds where every gun that's not a wonderwweapon starts to suck, and need to be pack a punched and have double tap to get real killing efficiency, is clearly superior to anything else ever created. It's as close to a melee wonderweapon as we'll get, and that's one of the things I always wanted.
  22. Well there's been high speculation on the idea that the o4 will return next map, but mainly how and where will they be. Both sides of the story kind of hint that (at least to me), our next stop could be the long awaited agartha, but even then it feels like a pretty long shot assumption. My ideas stem from maxis saying meeting Sam in agartha (something along those lines), and rich not being able to take full control of Samuel (hinting at the darker power that could be fighting him). Also nice to hear from you again, haven't seen you much on the forums since I've been back .
  23. I only have one comment to make regarding the novice and pro zombie slayas comment someone made. I think bo2 zombies was actually even less noob friendly than bo1 for the reason that transits a pain in the ass and buried is excruciatingly annoying for us used to training and not camping. Motd was quite linear and unless u had the gat getting stuck in a mob of zombies might b a deathtrap. The only brightside is that the new zombie AI is weird because you can dodge through weird tight spots that would never be possible in bo1.
  24. Oh wee, one day earlier -.- Idk why that bugs me more than if they had just left it at the second.
