  1. In the official Uprising Trailer we see this incredibly scary looking new zombie: He definitely is different than the other zombies. He obviously is not an inmate, as he is wearing a badge and a nice suit. Many believe that this is the warden of Alcatraz. After doing some research, I found out that there were 4 wardens of this prison: James A. Johnston from 1933-1948 Edwin B. Swope from 1948-1955 Paul Madigan from 1955-1961 Olin Blackwell from 1961-1963 If we figure out which warden he is (if he is the warden at all), then we know about what year the map is taking place in. After researching each of these men, I came across a photo that sent a chill up my spine: Look a little familiar? There is an uncanny resemblance between this man and the zombie we see in the image above. Here's the disappointing part: this man is not actually Edwin Swope, but infact, his brother Gerard Swope. I came across his picture while searching for Edwin and thought it was just him, but younger, until I saw the name. Who knows though, maybe they looked similar? They were brothers! At least this thread will get the ideas and research rolling..
  2. I hope the Warden guy is like the Pentagon Thief from Five, except he can come mid-round if he wants, and you ALWAYS hear him somewhere behind you... :twisted:

    Install your game to the hard drive, then there are no errors with the disk of any kind, and way less texture glitches.

  5. Come on man, at at least embed the video and write a little paragraph explaining it or something. You keep just posting URL's with little written about them just to get people to go to your youtube channel. It's not working, it's just annoying.

  11. In Nuketown, we have perks mysteriously falling from the sky. To keep this short, could the cause of this possibly be the the moon has been destroyed and the perks from the map are falling down? It's a stretch, bet hey, it's Treyarch! Let me know what you guys think.

    My advice, watch some of ChopperNator's videos in the 'media center' section. Then try to recreate some of the maneuvers you see. Also, take some practice hours in No Mans Land.
  13. This is a fantastic idea! I would definitely like to see this perk, it would make for a great refresher to see the characters holding their gun a different way, make you feel a little more bad@ss!

  16. no offense,and i agree its not what it used to be,but this thread is about PAP guns sucking. Yes I know, I'm not an idiot. I was going off of what TehGKBreif said.
  17. I haven't seen anyone bring this up yet. A few weeks ago our cryptic friend Jimmy tweeted this: This is pretty obvious what he is saying here; in the next map pack, and old perk (such as PHD flopper) will be replacing a perk that we have right now (such as mule kick). What perk would you want to revive, and what perk do you want to save? We obviously need the four base perks: Jug, Speed, Quick revive, and Double tap (which wasn't in Ascension). I think that mule kick will go, and we get deadshot or flopper back. What do you think? Alternate theory: this one is a little less obvious. We all know that the zombies team has been experimenting with down-based perks (who's who and tombstone) that allow you to save your purchased perks. They could possibly be trying to choose which one we want in the next map, that we need to either: SAVE who's who, or REVIVE tombstone. In this case, which would you choose?
  18. on TranZit it felt pretty empowering to PAP. Definitely not on Town though. I do agree though that it is just way too easy on Die Rise. I wish it was harder to get to, so that you had to carefully plan your way to it, or had to do something important to find it.
  19. WOW!!! That's VERY interesting. A Kinect version. I absolutely LOVE the idea of actually drinking the perks and things. Great imagination. This is exactly the kind of post I was hoping to see. I think he was sorta kidding LOL! :lol:
  20. I still don't see how this video PROVES anything. All it does is show us a small zombies easter egg that we all have known about for quite some time before this. There is no proof whatsoever, nor is proof a good term to use in this instance. There's nothing you can possibly prove or disprove about this. If Treyarch wanted to make a zombies map and of ANY map, they sure as hell COULD, couldn't they?
  21. TBH, the only thing they can do to make it better is trash the whole idea. I don't mean to be a hater for all you hardcore turned fans out there (if there are any ) but I really don't think this game mode was a good idea. Sure it adds innovation, but it lacks the zombies feel. Grief was fun, but that's as far as I will go from the original zombies. Turned just feels pointless and repetitive. Zombies started out as a game mode itself, we don't need more sub-game modes within it. That's just me..
  22. Cool idea, except I only see one very small flaw.. Why are the going IN to the school, wouldn't it make more sense for them to be trying to escape? If they survived the bombs at school, and everyone around them turned to zombies, don't you think they would be starting inside the school and fighting their way out? I do love the school themed idea though, and playing as a child would definitely make the gameplay mechanics fresh and challenging.
  23. I always do this every time I play, I move all 4 parts onto the elevator and within the first 3 minutes of the game, I have the entire trample steam built. It really isn't as tedious as people think. You can walk backwards at full speed and still move them, just keep pressing X rapidly.
  24. I've seen this alot, and it's pretty annoying. It does save you though in those high pressure elevator situations.
  25. Game has never ended because of a glitch for me, in BO1 or BO2. Usually, I die from killing myself (boredom), or getting disconnected from the freaking server! I would just play local games, but then my stats aren't posted :x
