  3. Questions rattled through Kravcheski's head as he packed up his things. They were frowned upon within the army, but that didn't mean they couldnt think them. Striding out of his flapping tent, the transport plane stood waiting for him. Trucks and a jeep sat parked on the dusty runway also. The men stepped forward and saluted him as he walked up into the transport plane. Kravcheski walked up to what he thought was the pilots. " Vitch reporting for duty sir." " Baikov reporting for duty sir." "Well I hope you are good pilots...." An hour later, the plane was in the air and on the way to Mongolia. Kravcheski sat uncomfortably in a chair as he sipped his vodka. The planes engines drowned out all sound. Soon, he drifted off to sleep. Pilots Vitch and Baikov were sitting in the cockpit when the convoy drove into the woods. "This is Big Bird 65 come in to ground." Vitch keyed into the mike. After a few seconds he keyed the mike again. "Ground, do you copy? Hello...?" Vitch leaned over to the window and took a look down. The convoy was gone. They completely were hidden by the thick forest below. Maybe the signal wasn't getting through. It didn't matter anyways, the woods were thinning out into clear ground soon. "Yo Vitch, ummmm I don't see them at all, and we are in the clear...." The reciever suddenly bursted into static. Vitch clutched his ear. "SH*T!" "*static* AAARGH THIS IS GROUND TO BIG BIRD 65!!!! YOU HAVE TO HELP US !!!! (Screams and explosion) WHAT THE F*CK MAN!!!!! CHYORT! HELP US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" "Boost the plane to max, something just took out the ground convoy, and I want to get there alive.." Kravcheski woke up with a start. He could feel the plane speed up. Something was wrong. He got up and staggered to the cockpit. "HEY pilot, what the hell is going on! What just happened!?" he yelled. ""Sir, someting just took out our ground convoy and um....well its only us now. So ummmmm...........top priority is to get to the base camp alive and well, sir." Kravcheski walked back to his seat and sat down. He didnt think he was gonna get out alive... A few minutes later, they were on approach to the base camp at the base of the mountains. As the plane came in for a landing, Kravcheski peered out of the cracked window and saw about 20 troops rushing towards the plane, shouting and waving their arms. Now that the engine wasnt running on full speed, Joseph could hear Vitch and Baikov through the door. He leaned forwards in his seat in order to hear what they were saying. "Sh*t, why are they running towards us? Big Bird 65 to Overwatch whats with the people? Vitch opened the sliding window and yelled out of the window, as they weren't that far from the ground. "GET OUT OF THE F*CKING WAY!!!! GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!!" Joseph had a feeling that it wasn't going to be a smooth landing. He buckled himself in as the plane descended. Baikov panicked as the ground came up to greet the oncoming plane. "OH GOD NOO! THERE IS NO WAY I'M DYING LIKE THIS!!!!" Baikov unbuckled himself (miraculously), and ran towards the emergency parachutes at the back of the plane. As soon as the landing had transitioned from peaceful to desperate, the plane collided with the ground at a near parallel angle. Sparks flew off the plane and metal hull tore off the underside. The plane skidded and bucked as the ground gave way to the sliding behemoth. Baikov, who was still trying to get to the back parachutes, or just get away, flew all over the place as his body flopped around the ceiling, walls, and floor. It was pretty much a meat grinder. Joseph flinched as bloody parts of the human body flew around in the hold. He winced as blood sprayed across his arms and face. After what felt like a million years, the plane shuddered and finally skidded to a halt. It was good timing too, because when Joseph stepped onto the floor, it sank. There was pretty much NO floor support at all, the ground had all but eroded it. Jospeh ran up to the cockpit and peered inside. Vitch was hunched over the consoles and sparking controls. There was a cut across his face, and his leg seemed to be buried under heaps on wires and metal. The cockpit glass had shattered on impact, but miraculously, none of it seemed to hit lethal areas of Vitch's body. Joseph grunted in effort as he tried to pull Vitch out of the wires. After a few minutes Vitch was out and alive. He held a bandage to his face as the soldiers on the runway led them back to a low steel building. As Joseph walked, he looked over to the edge of the base and saw lines of soldiers standing with guns raised to the outside world. He frowned. Soldiers didn't point their guns at nothing..did they? Suddenly, dark shapes appeared on the edge of the mountain and the soldiers started to fire at them. The dark shapes weren't firing back, as far as he could tell, they looked unarmed. "Hey, whats going on out there?" he asked. "No questions please, they will be answered in a few minutes." said what looked like the man in charge. The dark shapes had dissapeared back into the mountains, leaving many behind. The man in charge led them into the building and shut the door. Everything went dark.

  15. Heart of the Mountain Joseph Kravcheski is a commander on the frontlines, defending relentlessly against the Nazis. When he's not directing troops and screaming at officers, Joseph spends his time reading strategy novels. When a top-priority mission directs him to Inner Mongolia, he meets Jacob Fishbane, an experienced fighter in hit and run tactics. Soon after the mission starts though, things begin to get sour. The troops are saying something is in the mountains, something better not discussed. Unfortunately, the mission is to check this out to see if the Nazis are messing around, grab some intel and tech, and bust out of there. Unfortunately, its not as easy as it sounds, the mountains contain many secrets just waiting to be uncovered.......... Joseph Kravcheski. Age 45. Experienced commander on the front lines of Russia since the beginning of the war. Location- Russian Frontlines HQ. Constant artillery rattled his ears as the Russians held off the oncoming offensive. German Tanks moved up through the muddy fields as they tried to break through, but to no avail. There was just too much firepower to deal with. Joseph strode out of the command tent as the lead German tank exploded, showering bits of metal all over the battleground. It slid to a halt, a burning wreck. "Commander, our troops on the 4th Sector can't hold out for much longer. Should we do something?" the young Lieutenant Commander asked. Joseph thought, what could he do to assist his troops in victory. "Is Lieutenant Nevski in position?" "Yes sir, would you like me to radio him?" The radio crackled with static as the signal radioed across the field. "*static* This is Nevski, Commander, executing Operation AMUR" Joseph watched carefully in the quadrant of the battlefield as Nevski executed his plan. There, the German infantry, backed up by Panzers, had managed to get past the wreckage and artillery holding them back. And now the Russians down there were getting battered by waves of infantry and armor. Suddenly, Russian troops swooped from the forest and engulfed the Germans from behind. Gunfire rattled and explosions rocked the ground as a bloody but decisive battle ensued. If the Germans were pushed back here, then Kravcheski would win the battle, earning him a nice little pat on the back and a send back home. If he was lucky. "Sir, the is Nevski, can you get us any support!?" Gunfire and screams rattled in the background. "Sh*t" Kravcheski thought. He needed to think of something, and fast. Joseph barked out orders fast. " You, Abelev, take 80 men and assist Nevski over in Sector 4 NOW!" Abelev saluted and ran towards the battle with his 80 men, screaming blood and vengeance. After Abelev arrived, there wasn't much left. Nevski and his men were a mess, losing their element of surprise. The Nazis and the Red Army resorted back to old hand to hand combat. Men used buckets, shovels, and knives in order to slaughter the enemy. Blood flew in spurts through the dust filled air. Dying and dead men lay, on the ground, some so unrecognizable they looked like a pile of mashed meat. Nevski saw Abelev, and called out to him.He was surrounded by 5 of the damn Germans, using a shovel and a makeshift shield. Abelev rushed over to him, but it wasn't in time. He saw Nevski go down, cut down by multiple knives and beaten to the ground. "NOOOOOO NEVSKI!!!! DIE NAZI DOGS!!!!" Abelev shouted. He picked up a fallen PPSH and held down the trigger. The Germans were torn apart as the hail of bullets was absorbed by their fleshy bodies. "ABELEV WATCH OUT!" Abelev turned just to see a Nazi raise a bloody stick and whack him across the face. Abelev was knocked to the ground. The German raised his stick, ready for the final knockout. Suddenly, he was knocked aside and what do you know, Kravcheski was standing there with a smoking Tokarev. He helped up Abelev. " Nevski is dead sir, but we managed to win the battle..." "Damn it, Nevski was a good Officer..." Joseph said. When all of the retreating Germans had been eliminated, Joseph sat down for the first time in 3 days, and started to read a book. He clearly needed to imrpove his edge on his strategic options, to lose less men, and to be more effective. A couple days later, He was approached by a high ranking Commander, one of the top brass. He had said there was a top-secret mission. Somewhere in Mongolia? Deep in the mountains. As far as Kravcheski knew, he was in charge of the expedition. And he was ready. "Gather your things." the Top-Brass ordered, "we move out in 3 hours."
