1. Yet there is something wrong with the pattern which the aliens move...you must take enjoyment in the things we dislike.
2. Have you ever actually completed Point of Contact? It's not as short as you think. On top of that, you're heavily relying on your squadmates to fill their roles. Trying to hold the team up by yourself is an extremely daunting task, considering you are assigning yourself to a limited arsenal and ability range. It's all about that communication.
3. I cannot agree with this more. In fact, let's throw in all the weapons that we see, whether in a trailer/cutscene or loading screen. We get so pumped when watching scenes from Call of the Dead and Origins because of the badass kills from each character. I don't care if they are deemed "special weapons" and would only be used in a limited time; just give it to us so we can die happy.
4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=p ... eAu459huTA Hopefully that'll work for ye.
5. They probably gain more intelligence - at least certain groups of the alien race - the longer into the missile's aftermath. That being said, it's no doubt that they will become more challenging in the upcoming chapters. The latter question is actually very thoughtful, Undad. To unearth something is to say that the aliens were underground for quite some time. You could assume the alien race hibernated under the surface long, long before the strike yet not before mankind's homage on Earth. At the same time, however, you could easily say that they were indeed on the planet before man came around.
6. I don't know how many times I go down because of stupid human errors such as that. I just get excited when I see a notification via Skype, phone, or Xbox Live and flip out. I try every time to do it in a timely fashion (new round transition, last zombie) but find myself in a predicament where my teammates just had to trigger something.
7. Magma: When approaching the broken tram near the heavy lava pool area, there is a small little pathway going from one of the tram windows and into the station. People tend not to look this way, and it makes a great route for getting into the building quicker than the middle route. Uplink: Even though it's a very popular remake of Black Ops' Summit, people forget very easily about the the lone rail car on the downslope near the sniper tower. I see someone in it maybe once every 20 matches, but it's too much fun to pass. Dig: Near the far back of the spawn where there are stairways against the walls (like second-level floors), there is a small tunnel underneath one of the staircases. It's rather open to the sides but very well-hidden and obscure. Raid: The building that overlooks the pool bar (where snipers love to hide) also has a tiny ledge at the top floor. You can go up to it - and even get into the room - by climbing the structure of the walls. It's a very popular spot, however, so it gets a good amount of attention. At the same time, it can work wonders with the correct class setup and mode.
8. I absolutely loved Vengeance's Multiplayer maps. Definitely the better of the four because of how the layout was structured so well. I was a sucker for the remake of Summit, haha. Zombies-wise, I couldn't go wrong with Uprising. I love the other DLCs for their Zombies maps, but Uprising gave us a brilliant Mob of the Dead and Cell Block Grief. Now those are two modes to be damn proud of.
9. Thou shall not cross thy teammate's undead routes.
10. Really weird, but it looks like IW is going to be releasing a good number of these. I have no idea what those mini mighty morphin' power rangers might be...but I guess it does live up to the LOL portion of it.
11. So we either look at Extinction as "there are no ties", or "there was enough time to create a cover up and send military teams to investigate/clear the areas". Sounds pretty good to me so far. Thanks for giving background on ODIN, friendo. Now I wonder whether the storyline of Extinction (given there is one) will pan out within the 10 years prior to Ghosts actually starting via Campaign. +1 to the Grilling machine.
12. Welcome to the community, friendo! Look around and don't be afraid to be a part of our many, many discussions. Hope you enjoy your stay at the Hotel CoDz. ;)
13. High rounds tests your endurance, commitment, and strengths as a Zombie player. There's something about pounding hours and hours into one match just to satisfy that "Hmm let's see how far we can go in one run". It also shows your strengths & weaknesses when you're on your own. It doesn't mean you're 1337 or anything; it just means that you can hold off for large amounts of time on your own. Beyond Round 70-ish, it's all the same song and dance.
14. Very good reference, friendo. I agree that it seems to be going backwards in the time flow, taking us to the -ahem- origins of events.
15. You got a friendo on this one as well. Consider me a part of not only the gaming portion but donating as well. Let's kick some undead ass.
16. If I wanted to play in a foggy town where I couldn't see anything, I'd be playing Tranzit.
17. Thanks, Alpha. That should really deter any incoming spammers. It might be at the risk of new members, but it's fairly easy to navigate through the spammers vs. actual members when manually done. Nice work.
18. Did someone call my name? Welcome to the community, friendo! Whatever your other half told you about this magnificent family is absolutely correct and more. You are signing up for such an amazing community of meatsack slayers. Unfortunately I'm not good at the guessing game so I can I lose out on some brains. Anyways, enjoy your stay!
19. Very informative...information right here, MMX. I'm glad to see a scientific perspective on this rather than a general "115 did it I don't know how but it did" response. It's good to see where everything would [potentially] originate from. I'm bookmarking this for future reference, because I really enjoy it that much. My favorite part of the list was hands down how the mini-bosses came to be and the Wonder Weapons at work. The mechanics behind such energy and usage fascinate me. Keep up the solid work. Brains to you galore, dear friendo.
20. Treyarch tried something different, and they did it successfully. People argue about the "classic" feel because the Side Quests are being shoved down a player's throat just to play the game half the time. There are, however, is a simple way to fix that: just don't do the Side Quest. The thing about Origins is that everyone wants a staff, and everyone wants to upgrade it. At that point, you're pretty much halfways done with the Quest so many people feel that they might as well do everything else. The same goes for Mob of the Dead and the makeshift plane. Also, Mob of the Dead/Origins were just good examples of making the game similar to the classic maps by shifting the attention from the map layout to what was available. MotD returns the Verruckt feel and the weapons do not disappoint. Origins delivers everything we could possibly want with new additions so it automatically becomes the top favorite. It's not to say that the other maps failed. The perspective of gamers vs. devoted slayers is very skewed in terms of personal likes. Just as how everyone wanted to get rid of the N4 even when Black Ops II offered Tranzit because "we wunt teh o4 moor pls". You can't forever stay in the classic Zombies feel. New things have to be added and transitioned so variety is available.
21. There better be a pretty price to pay for upgraded perks. I love the idea but if it would be implemented like the challenges in Origins, then it would be fairly balanced.
22. Very, very nice model resource friendo! I have yet to obtain a program that allows .3ds files, so it's actually pretty cool seeing a whole figure of the model in Photoshop and screwing around with it. Just a quick question: these look a lot to be like Black Ops only models, but there are also some Black Ops II models (CDC) as well. Is it because you're combining all the models, or was the original parent directory like that already? P.S. The list function only works ifyou set it up like this:

Item 1
Item 2
23. As an informal rule of the board, we don't delete accounts. Well, Moderators actually have no power to do so - it's within the Admins' scope of power. And even if an Admin is able to, accounts are never deleted. If you are going to be inactive, you can just leave your account as is in the [possible] event you decide to come back. I hope you understand. :)
24. I agree with Jay. The difficulty varies whether you're playing Solo or Co-op. You have to take into consideration how long each round may be due to the number of zombies per wave as well as distractions. For solo, I would say Call of the Dead or Nacht der Untoten. CotD because everything is coming after you at once, and NDU simply because you're going to be running some very tight circles for a good while and might slip up. For co-op, it's easily FIVE and Shangri-la. FIVE is so terribly enclosed that if even a few zombies from someone else comes the opposite way of you and your horde, you're done unless you have a luckshot of a weapon. Shangri-la is extremely fun with randoms but most players (the novice ones in particular) will go down and end up having the same situation as FIVE, except with a bit more leniency.
25. I half agree and half disagree. Yes, it was meant to be a powershot of a weapon that deals massive damage if used accurately. At the same time, it doesn't make it a useless Wonder Weapon. It's like the evil twin of the original Ray Gun in that it's mainly for direct hits versus splash damage. Even in the high rounds, beautiful headshot damage.
