  1. Ah, I love using the the Trample Steam for the Jumper rounds. It really does make life a ton easier. You can even utilize the top of the satellite tower and dig into a corner.
  2. There's the way you have stated, getting a certain number of headshots within a given game, and earning a certain multiplier for consecutive headshots. What numbers suggest this, I am actually not sure. Some players get the green burst within 20 headshots whilst others still obtain nothing after 100.
  3. You created a glitch lobby? My my, that may make things a bit detrimental. While I've never experienced a glitch lobby before, I wouldn't put all my money on making it the reason why the step won't work. Are you shooting only on, or all the balls? Also, I'm assuming you haven't placed the Trample Steams down.
  4. Hey friendo, welcome to the community! Ah, so many things about a new person - it's so intriguing! What is like to be a cold room fitter? Never really wrapped my around as to what that position is. And we must see a picture of your puppy. We MUST. Enjoy your stay, post in discussions with other slayers just like you, and I hope to see you around often. :)
  5. In Tranzit, the power determines what direction you begin in regards to choosing a side. If you wish for the power to be off (you must turn it on anyways to trigger the quote), then you are siding with Maxis. If you choose for it to stay on (meaning keep the power on), you're siding with Richtofen. Either way you look at it, you're picking one side or the other. It doesn't mean that the system will remember you started a path for the rest of your zombie career; it's just a little signal telling you "Hey, this is where the Side Quests begin". The good thing about Tranzit is that the overseers (Maxis/Richtofen) will tell you word by word what to accomplish when you choose either side. Here is a very brief guide on what each side requests you to do: Maxis - Turn on power, then turn it off. (Cornerstone) - Lure Him (as you'd say, the Avogadro) under the pylon fully and EMP him while two turbines are placed underneath the tower. - Place a Turbine down at the Bus Depot and Diner streetlights at the same time. - Congrats! You've just sided with Maxis. Richtofen - Turn power on, and keep it that way. (Cornerstone) - Build the JetGun completely. - Using the JetGun, heat up the pylon (referred to as obelisk) until the weapon explodes to ensure you've done it correctly. You don't need the table built, but I tend to do it since heating up the meteorite on the table will give you the quote 100% of the time. - Kill anywhere from 20-40 zombies under the pylon. Make sure they are completely under and not out of the area. Some say using explosives making the quote come faster. - Using EMPs, reduce the energy flow at the streetlights at the same time. If you have two people, create a portal. EMP the streetlight at the same time, jump in the portal quickly, then EMP the streetlight you just appeared next to. - Congrats! You've just sided with Richtofen.
  6. Thank you for posting up the locations via image, friendo! It does become a bit dull at times to watch a whole video or try to explain in text where the Teddy Bears are located. I guess I'm just a picture type of person, haha. :)
  7. Well...there's a reason why we don't call 'em rape trains anymore friendo. It became a bit derogatory, and we had to mind the younger slayers in the community. But now that you mention if, it kind of looks like those. I've always just paid mind to the lifeboat around it. Very creative on Treyarch's part. ;)
  8. I'm fairly certain you cannot start off on a clean slate. You'd have to complete the opposite side in order to reset which one was previously accomplished before. Unless you start a new account, of course.
  9. Hey friendo, welcome to the zombie community! You heard right - I may sound egotistical saying this, but CoDz is definitely the best place to be for all your zombies needs. Have fun posting your ideas, contributing to many theories and discussion, and being a part of this wonderful forum. I hope to see you often! :)
  10. Exactly what I was thinking - he "replaces" you. He fills a gap that is now empty because he is taking over. "Being your replacement you" sounds like he will become the player, and what object does just that in Die Rise? Who's Who. We barely got any information out of the trailer regarding Die Rise, and so many people wondered why. This could've been a tiny little hint to it.
  11. It's too clustered with his other quote, but more than likely, it was the headshot persistent upgrade. From what I can recollect, you can achieve the skill in three different ways. Some say that it's a multiplier, others say it's a headshot bonus to make killing easier. But either way, the quote isn't particularly new.
  12. Does this include crawlers? I don't mind if the lone zombie respawns, but I don't exactly prefer doing Side Quest steps with a zombie charging full speed at me when I'm on the elevators. Edit: Crawlers also live; however, they ought to stay relatively close to avoid death spawning or accidental elevator mishaps. Thank you for fixing that, Treyarch. :)
  13. 1) They should die near it; either via Trample Steam or shooting them. I'd pick shooting them with the sniper, to avoid any kind of collision with the balls (if it does deflect the path). 2) The Trample Steams can be in any random order; however, you must make sure that they are facing the the satellite tower to allows passage from one side to the other for the balls. I'm assuming that it was during the step you needed to place the Trample Steams? If so, that may be the case; I've had my buildable destroyed by zombies, grenades, bullets, misplaced over edges, all the works as Samuel and have only heard him once. You only need to replace the broken Trample Steam.
  14. This. And supposedly, doing Maxis causes Richtofen to sound weaker. I don't know if that statement is true, but it really wouldn't make logical sense to go back to a weakening overlord right after siding with a vengeful entity.
  15. Well, seems like our quest to discover the final steps has now been fully discovered. I have a feeling so many people will get stuck at the Mahjong tiles, but with how the author explained it, it shan't be too difficult. Great job everyone - I know you guys have been going back and forth across the possible steps so much, and without all these ideas, it wouldn't have been possible. :)
  16. Hey friendo, welcome to the community! Oh my, I'm sorry you had to lose your system. I understand how difficult it can be to get some free time while juggling work and life. I'm just glad that you have some time for good ol' zombies! Especially now that we've gotten Die Rise, there's a ton of juicy stuff heading our way. Enjoy you stay, post your ideas/theories, and keep on slaying - I hope to see you around often! :)
  17. Hey friendo, welcome to the forum officially! You've got to tell us what it's like in Brazil; I've always wanted to go there with my wife because...well, Brazilians are very good-looking guys and gals. But that's for another time, haha. Hope to keep seeing you around and I look forward to your posts! :)
  18. Not sure if this makes any difference, but I was playing with Flammen, and we had one guy who did not do the Tranzit Side Quest. I'm sure this isn't a prerequisite, but it seems to be the case. We followed the beginning steps all the way through until the elevators portion. We even made sure every teammate jumped on it at precisely the same instance. No reaction.
  19. It's not disappointing if you constantly use Who's Who to keep your perks constantly. Maxis will perhaps have them as permanent, or even some kind of Wonder Weapon.
  20. Make sure that you have turned on power and that one of your teammates has the SVU (or other Sniper from the Mystery Box). Then, you can begin the elevator symbols step.
  21. The sounds are supposedly a third party coming into contact with Samuel. You can actually hear the moans as early on as Round 1. It seems that you hear zombies more...well, in a more eerie effect.
  22. I thought you couldn't have Who's Who and Quick Revive while playing Solo? Either that, or I'm just seeing an elevator that never opens.
  23. Hey friendo, welcome to the community! 25 years of gaming...my my, that's a pretty long history (but it's not to say that you're old or anything - you just have a deeper history with gaming than most of us here). Have yourself a look around, as there is more to come with the new addition of Die Rise. Hope to see you around often. :)
  24. This is a great and very well-organized strategy guide friendo! I've alley stumbled in getting myself prepared for doomsday, but I've always ended up just buying Who's Who and pray that I will somehow get my hands on the AN-94. Keep up the great work! I hope to see more of these from you. :)
  25. Welcome to the community, friendo! You'll find some people to help you get through those Easter Eggs and get through the best of Zombies. Enjoy your stay, and I hope to see you often! :)
