  1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3IriKR6tRo#t=14 The Sedan Crater is approximately 1,300ft long in diameter. Looking at the video, I'd say where the MP nuke is dropped is about half that distance or roughly the center of said diameter. Thus, the NT bomb hit ~700ft away from Nuketown. Now I'm not saying that the nuke alone caused the hole; what if the nuke was dropped WHILE the Sedan nuke was already buried underneath the ground? A nuke, detonating another nuke? KABOOM! That's when things get nice for us: Nuketown is destroyed. We have a large-ass crater, with the remains of NT sitting on the edge. A mushroom cloud has formed. Radiation team is sent out, but they die off minus one particular scientist. Distress signal was released, and CIA coming but also the CDC. Then, the V2 Moon rocket hits NT and practically obliterates it to nothingness.

  3. Welcome to the family, friendo! You've indeed come to the best Zombies community (and generally better CoD community all around) - we've been getting excited lately over the newly released Advanced Warfare. A great deal of people here are still slaying meatsacks so be sure to pop in as many games with them as you can. Enjoy your stay, and happy slayin'!
  4. Welcome to the family, friendo! I'm glad that CoDz became your Zombies-everything hub! It will continue to be that way for a very long time, and it's great that you decided to register with us. Enjoy your stay, can't wait to see what you'll come up with! Happy slayin'!
  5. It appears the imposter assumes he has an imposter. Clever girl.

  7. Instructions unclear, spork stuck inside the plane.
  8. Well, it's better that we create the story ourselves anyways. Every play with Legos? There's very little fun in going completely by the instruction booklets. You build whatever contraption the set was specifically designed to be, only to break off all the pieces and create something that you wanted it to be. That was the beauty of Legos - mixing up blocks that never belonged with one another and finishing in a beautiful creation that you purely created. Imagination is limitless. This is why I miss the days of World at War and [especially] Black Ops. Give us small tidbits where a person could segway into unlimited possibilities. In Black Ops 2, they just slammed down a wall and said "now let's see you get around that" with very little information to go by. There's a difference between a community-driven story and poor story-telling.
  9. There is an existing discussion about Origins' staves: http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/index.php/topic/177726-staffs/ And I'm afraid creating a topic about one's favorite gun has been done to death already. Sorry, friendo.
  10. PayPal levies a tax on all donations, so it takes a very small bit off each monay.
  11. Lightning Staff is also good, give that you charged it of course. I'd say that the effectiveness of it ends roughly around 45 though. And if anything, Wind is not effective other than halting zombies in their tracks. Very, very bad if you're caught in a crowded because there's no way you'll escape unlike with the Fire of Lightning staff uncharged.
  12. There's actually more to that factor; in fact, it's more focused on when you go down in what particular set of rounds and some other small variables. Discussion about the ranking system can be found here: http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/index.php/topic/150230-official-ranking-system-discussion-and-theories/ Happy slaying!
  13. Although Call of Duty has one of the largest gaming players known to console (and the world), Zombies has garnered the opportunity to give such an expansive audience the gift of slaying zombies. It started from a fun, innocent game mode and quickly turned into a saga filled with a luscious storyline while entailing very interest map concepts and arsenal to kill zombies. In fact, this is where a particular invisible line is drawn. Some would say that the context behind the mode is what gives Zombies its vigor. There's something about scavenging the map for hidden radios, looking at the entire scenery to inspect the environment, analyzing every quote that is offered. Each object - no matter how big or small - is vital to creating a story behind each map. Others might say it's the gaming experience that only Zombies has to offer. Nothing feels more at home than hitting the box for that overpowered Wonder Weapon, or grinding to make it on the Leaderboards, or working as a unit to complete Easter Eggs/Side Quests for permanent perks. The gameplay is easy to come to every time even during the most boring of moments because its insanely high replay value. What would you say marks the best aspect of Zombies - the background story, or the gameplay (map/location/guns/modes)?
  14. Welcome to the family, friendo! We've all been in that situation - start as lurkers, stay as a bonafide member. You've chosen right though! Hope to see you around often, and happy slayin'!
  15. I'm a team player by default, even when I try not to be. In fact, I let my revives do the talking. I have realized over time that I am being too sportsman-like and thus usually end the match by refusing to revive my teammates anymore. There comes to a point where you constantly reviving your downed comrades tells you something about the quality of said players. Yet, if I go down all hell breaks loose and the guy/gal with an OP Wonder Weapon can't seem to pick me up despite no zombies even being around us? I'm gonna whip out the dick (card) on the table.

You can post in this thread (make sure you follow the format in the original post): http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/index.php/topic/177606-medal-request-thread/
  17. You can't become staff unless picked by them. To be considered for a staff position, there aren't any specific requirements other than: - be helpful - contribute to the community - engage in public events - know your way around CoDz - be the best you can be To be honest, we probably won't require any additional staff until Treyarch's game is finally released due to a large increase in user traffic. Hopefully that answers your questions friendo. :)
  18. If you guys have Wunder Weapon ideas, try posting them here: http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/index.php/topic/146793-the-wunder-ful-wunder-weapon-discussion/
  19. Actually, Electric Cherry was not forged in Hell. Time displacement via Element 115 or Controller can bring it into any given map. Ergo, it doesn't necessitate either of your two options (although some people may find it seemingly reasonable to just pin it on Wunderfizz).
  20. The ability to connect to the internet is not an issue with either device. I'm a bit lost to why you would even bring that up. Also forcing new consoles is NOT a bad marketing choice, especially with something as big as a COD game: The most played FPS in the world. And even more-so a COD game with ZOMBIES one of the most enjoyed things by COD players. Anyone who's anyone will buy this game, and after 3 years, if microsoft (In league with activision, we know this, this is why xbox gets DLC early) doesn't provide some kind go push to get the next gen. console moving, nothing will. This is the BIGGEST push ANY game release can muster up. Period. No if-ands-or-buts about it. If anyone choses to let this slide, make an inferior game WHICH COSTS MORE TO PRODUCE, provide just about the clearest middle finger to the zombies lovers ever, and miss out on a perfect opportunity to provoke XBONE an PS4 sales, I will lose all faith in modern industry. The point I was making about the Intert-inclusive consoles is that more people will continue playing the 360 and PS3 for several years before they become an indefinite thing of the past. That being said, there will continue to be different console versions of games (Xbox 360/Xbox One) per game until the former become obsolete or until a vast majority of gamers have the next-gen consoles. And it is a bad marketing move because you need to look at how many people own the newest consoles versus their predecessors. Just because you thinking a popular game marketing exclusive on a new console is more appealing doesn't make it the correct move. I can promise you that the only reason Treyarch could make is because everyone is anticipating how the final of Call of Duty's developers will make a stand unlike what Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer produced. The smartest move will be to release the 2015 game on both consoles because there is a very large percentage of 360 players compared to One players. Cost is of no importance in terms of a game; either you have it, or you don't. Forcing an entire population onto a newer console - especially for one game - is petty. You might get a few lucky saplings willing to fork over that money, but ideally you want to broadcast your game to as much of the community as possible, not just one (One's audience).
  21. I'm calling out Deadshot Daiquiri. Useless perk that is generally either the last perk anyone wants to purchase or let alone willingly have in the first place.
  22. Welcome to the family, friendo! We are the #1 community for ideas, theories, and everything-Zombies - you've come to the right place! I'm sure we'd love to hear all your ideas and whatever is on your mind. Happy slaying!
  23. I think Reaper must be talking about the Spaceman blowing up. I don't see anyone shoot him or QED him, so probably that. I would put it down to the engine being, well... dated. That's what it would appear to be. My guess is that the effect of the Wave Gun reached him at a latter point, and was considerably the final touch to making him explode. Either that, or Astro Zombies do not enjoy Wave Guns. Asking what's so interesting when the OP made no mention of what we needed to see is not being a dick. In fact, it's not even a rhetorical question - just a casual one.
  24. They will continue making new games for both old-gen and new-gen regardless the numbers. Even more so, because statistics will tell you that more people own a 360/PS3 than their newest additions, and thus, more players are on said older consoles. Bear in mind that the 360 and PS3 are the first generation of consoles with high-Internet and global control in terms of playing. Sure, the Playstation 2 was capable of hooking up to the Internet and the original Xbox was also too, but never on such a grand scale like nowadays. Forcing people to upgrade their consoles for newly released games is a bad marketing choice; the only alternative are exclusive deals with the game itself (i.e. cheaper season passes, access to certain maps before anyone else, not pulling a Rezurrection/Hardened Edition for Black Ops scheme).
  25. And on top of that, because most of the good stuff could only be accessed while starting the Side Quests, you would get that feeling of "fuck it, might as well do the EE since I'm already half-ways through it". That should be removed entirely. If someone wants to do the Easter Eggs, then fine - just don't start forcing it to a point where that's the only way for obtaining special weapons or accessing certain arsenal.
