  1. Exactly my thoughts on this. I really hope there are more songs, that would just be insane. This map just gets better and better, huh?
  2. That must have taken some time to find, or just pure luck, like TBSZ stated. Also, I would like to note that the Origins album has several remastered songs on it. I believe they're 115, The One, and Abracadavre. I don't know if they just released them again because they liked them or thought that they fit with the map, but they could be IN the map itself. Just thought I should point it out. Or it could be hinting at Black Ops 2 versions of older maps, you know with the meteor in the Origins trailer that looks like the one from Shi No Numa, we don't know what they could be doing. Again, just thought I should point it out.
  3. I posted this on another thread and figured I should post it here. So I was in the middle of a game and got to the Fire Staff task that you must do to get the Ultimate version in the Church. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ax_gfQcNkL8 I found that video online and it explains how to do it. He tells you how from left to right the symbols equal 11, 5, 9, 7, 6, 3, 4. Then the 4 is always the first number you activate and it's the torch with the blood splatter. Then you just figure out what the numbers are from left to right that you have. The order of your numbers are from left to right except for 4 as that is first. Credit goes to the creator of the video.

  6. I don't know if everyone has heard about how they updated the Origins cinematic on Xbox 360 with a little girl's voice instead of the other one. It might just be them trying to find a better fitting voice.......or maybe something else..... I can't wait for this map!

  8. so maybe assuming that the pack-a-punch is of course powered by 115, maybe straight up 115 could be controlling the zombies? I'm sorry, but why do you mention the Pack-a-Punch? The picture is of the "Wisp" from Buried. I think what Liam is referring to is how the "Wisp" might be tied in with the zombie we see with the armor. Only problem is that Buried is in Africa and this is in Northern France, unless they explain how it could have gotten to Buried. Perhaps it just went there since it might be a group of wandering souls? I might be over thinking this... Also, birdman22, I apologize if the reason you mention the Pack-a-Punch is obvious and I just can't seem to notice it.
  9. It's very possible for it to be a nod to themselves, but that still doesn't mean the map doesn't take place in 2025 as there are other things that say other wise, as PINNAZ has shown in his post.
  10. Aren't those just zombies in there? I've always thought those were just regular zombies because if I remember correctly, didn't Group 935 show off the zombies to the Nazi Party in this theater? They had to keep them under control in some way, no? Like MMX said, Richtofen stated they contained the zombies.

  12. This is a very well thought out post and I understand where you're coming from, but I'm pretty sure it's just a coincidence. I might be way off on this but I don't even think Treyarch know. I feel like they made it RUVA to stop the RUSS one that everyone kept talking about. Again, I might be way off..... Either way, I admire your post, fellow theorist. +1 for your work.
  13. I have always wondered why they didn't incorporate the red power ups into grief where they would affect the other team. Might get complaints of being over powered, such as the ammo one, if used during a high round or right moment could completely devastate the entire enemy team. But that's the point of Grief, to mess up the enemy team. And you can make the excuse of that team not getting it first if anyone complains about it being overpowered.
  14. The vorkuta thing. One of them was ascend from darkness and such. I think people thought it related to an easter egg or how the story played out or something Does the campaign even have to do with anything in zombies? In the mission when Mason and Woods go to that rocket facility, you know Launch, but in the campaign, you hear about the Ascension team. Also, in this mission, you can see that Woods has a tattoo that says 115 on it. These are just some parts of the campaign that reference zombies. I believe there's more when it comes to the intel. So, to a certain degree, yes, the campaign is connected to zombies. Also, for the steps, in the mission when you're in Vorkuta and Reznov yells out the steps to escape, many people proposed the idea of it being a hint for the easter egg in Ascension.
  15. Yes, Albert mentioned the name while using the Ray Gun. However, we don't know what the connection is, if there even is one at all. He's got a point though. We might finally find out why Al even mentions him. Also, since Albert designed the plane, Icarus, maybe its possible that he knew how from the war. You know, with all the biplanes in Origins, it could explain that. Unless you want to say that he figured how to build it from so many times of reliving the same night over and over. Trial and error, if you will. Just a thought.
  16. To be honest, I would buy that just because I've been wanting the MG and the PPSh back for a long time now. If they don't include the WaW weapons in Origins, and lets be honest, they probably won't, I hope they actually make that.
  17. It doesn't. I think that was just a minor mistake from the OP. I would love another story map. There is a very slim chance, and by that I mean almost no chance, of there being one so I would have to go with Grief, Turned, and Survival. If this map is really as big as Tranzit, then I would want all the modes that Tranzit has. I can't wait for this map. It hope it's as good as they advertise it!
  18. I kind of agree with you there as it seems every map pack has at least one remade map. Still better than Infinty Ward. They just copy maps from previous games and then put them on later ones. Examples: Overgrown, Vacant, Crash, Strike, and Terminal.
  19. PROBLEMS I HAVE WITH TRANZIT I personally don't hate the map but don't think it's the best either. The problems I have seen with this map are as follows. MAP DESIGN The map is too "big" for my taste. Notice I put big in quotations. The reason I did this is because it's deemed off as "big" because of the fog. It's a huge map that is a pain to run in as you either go into the fog and confront the denizens, or wait until the bus comes to you which again, is just not quick enough. They try to even it out with the teleporters but fail miserably as this is random, not controlled. If one of my teammates goes down, there a huge possibility that he's not getting back up as most people like to train in separate areas, making revive attempts all that more frustrating. I don't have problem with a huge map, as long as there is actually some playing ground in the map, not just five Nacht size mini maps with a few spots here and there. That is what frustrated me the most of this map. Before it came out, they advertised it as it being a big map with some cool Easter eggs for people to find if they risked going into the fog. Maybe if they had included some more shortcuts or something along those lines, I would have enjoyed my time on this map more. BUILDABLES Now for the buildables. I understand this was the first zombies map in the game not including Nuketown since they both came at the same time, but did they really have to make the buildables so restricted? You could only build each one in a certain spot which wasn't too annoying but nonetheless deserves a mention. Another problem I have is playing solo on this map. One of the biggest problems I have with this map is trying to Pack-a-Punch. This isn't only on solo as the problem can happen on coop but it's bigger on solo. Most of the time when I put the turbine down at power and go to Town to see if the door is opened, the turbine breaks when I'm at Town from a zombie or it just doesn't activate the door. This a pain as running back and forth becomes a hassle way too quickly. The Jet Gun is the next problem on the list. Building it is just not worth it in my opinion as the pieces are all scattered and it breaks to easily. I don't know if it's a Wonder Weapon per say, but I know it's probably the worst special weapon we've had in zombies in my opinion. HONORABLE MENTIONS Lava isn't too bad as you can get used to it but it's still annoying when you use monkeys and it lands in lava, resulting in the monkey not working. Another thing I would like to mention is the color of this map. I know it makes sense for them to make it like this since its after Moon, but I'm so glad they quickly decided to change it and make the maps more bright and colorful like in Black Ops, having Shangri-La in mind. It gave the map a Walking Dead feel and was cool at first, but wore off making me realize the dull, dark colors was something I didn't like in CoDz. I think that wraps up my reasons as to why I don't like the map as much as other ones. This was a pretty long post, and it sure felt good to get it all out.   20. First of all, what ending? Buried? You can't be serious... And yes, we do need more. The story should never end. Is that only my opinion? Yes. Will it change? Probably not. Agreed,but the story should end eventually,Bo3 should be the end,then a zombies only game! That wouldn't really end the story since there will be another game with zombies. Unless you propose that the standalone game will be a different story entirely. Regardless, I want more zombies. It's just too hard for most of the members of this site to just say, "I don't want anymore zombies" when that's the base of the creation of this website. You know what I mean? Most of us have grown to love and support zombies and will keep wanting more and more until we......well.....I don't know when we won't want anymore. Like MMX said, as long as a majority of players will keep handing over their wallets for such games and DLC, zombies will keep going.
  21. That could support the theory of them being specially enhanced zombies if they were tested. I really can't wait for this map. It just looks AMAZING!
  22. Or perhaps in a continuum that they do not yet know they are in. Hmm....interesting......that's definitely a possibility. Can't wait for this map to come out! It looks like an awesome map with an excellent story behind it. Too bad I'll be back in school by then. :cry:
  23. I don't believe that the Vril Ya would need such a contraption. It's my understanding that oxygen is fit for them... but I may be wrong. Also, Vril Ya had wings. It's not to say that 3arc can't re imagine them, but that "thing" in the "big daddy" suit looks either like a traditional alien (race being some sort of Grey hybrid), or perhaps a "smart zombie" that was the failed product of early 115 testing. What if the zombie that we saw from the original teaser for Origins where you took three separate frames and put them together was a zombie that they tested and altered to become intelligent. This could explain why it looks different from the others and why it decided to use the suit. Just a thought that came to me.
  24. The eyes are yellow and the box light is blue, huh? I wonder how their going to explain that. Time travel possibly?
