Tranzit Starting Screen

Has anyone noticed the purple ray shooting from the roof of the bus station? It's right where the fold of the card is located.

Any ideas on what it is or it could be?

I can't find a picture of the starting screen so if anyone has one that would help show where its located.

The starting picture, ou can see a purple ray falling on the ceiling. This might explain how the Purple rock got there (oblolisk, not right )

It almost looks like a mystery box light, but I HIGHLY doubt it, maybe some sort of teleportation beam, and that's how our four on Green Run got there? Idk just spit balling :lol:

That would be cool and all, however, you can see many other purple areas on the image. That is just a concentrated streak of the purple. All of the purple is probably just faded ink.

It looks to me like a lightning bolt for the HAARP tower (obelisk). Can someone check if theres an antenna/rod similar to that in-game?

As MMX stated, it would be pretty cool pointing to the Purple Meteor/Rock,

But I think that the postcard is folded in half & it's just the blue watermarked run of the Bus Terminal.

I'm just staring at this picture trying to find anything of interest The broken glass hasn't really been found to mean anything of significance yet, so far I haven't made out anything else that's caught my eye or out of place.

no clue I can see him being covered in some synthetic skin before the nukes, would probably have made the passengers a little more comfortable if he looked like a human and not some robot. Plus they are the bus drivers after all and that guy looks like a bus driver to me.

This loading screen picture is definitly for the terminal and not for town lol, I see no part of town of this loading screen.

The praying mantis looking wires I wasn't sure if that was just the quality of the picture posted or if it was something worth note. It does kind of look like a fire or a sunset in the back round too

things to note: TEDD with skin, fire behind the bus, blue beam like the box, weird wire looking thing, bullet casings, broken glass anything else?

u have to be on the broken glass to get the light to shine at laundry. Also there is only broken glass at the same places as the clocks.

I don't think the broken glass or staring down your sights at the door actually does anything, I think the beams were already travelling like that due to which lamp posts you chose to complete it with and just happening to be looking at the same time they shoot past.

I highly doubt the purple light coming down on the card is just a distortion.

To me it doesn't look like a watermark due to the fact that it's a darker color than the sky. Also the bus station color is not as light as the purple light.

If it was a watermark or a distortion of the card it would run on top of the trees that are over the station as seen on this picture. The purple light is not running over the trees like it should if it was a distortion.

Bit of an old post but came across it and thought i'd add something...

Firstly I don't have a clue what that scrawny thing is just above the drivers head, i've always looked at that and though 'what the fudge?' it has a shadow over the clouds though, so it is not in the picture itself but over it, so i dunno it could be a bit of string or dirt or a twig but it really doesn't look like anything, who knows..?

Next I'm not sure about the purple line/watermark thing, i'm leaning towards it being some kind of damage to the picture itself rather than in the picture because if you look down the line it creates/the crease made by the pile of dust: all the colours on the right side seem more saturated/vivid than the left, ie. the trees and bus depot itself, suggesting that its damage to the picture, not 100% on that tho.

Nobodys mentioned this but small point: it appears this postcard/picture is on a black and white checkered floor.

Lastly and most importantly that red/orange in the background is not a sunset, check out the shadows of the people and objects, they are as if the sun is where we, the viewer are/slightly to the right of us, so that in the background is not the sun. Could be a fire, but i think it is the exact moment maxis's rockets hit the earth, that instance of the image only lasts a split second, as in a second later after this picture would have been taken all you would see is that fire, as it's an explosive wave shooting towards us. I say this because if you look at the people most of them are looking towards it, but some are not, ie. the man sitting on bench to the right of bus and 2 standing people. So it is not the sun, if it were a general fire would that man not be looking at it, looks to be a pretty big fire, i think that this man hasn't even had time to look at it, by the time he would have turned his head he will already be ash. The only reason the others are looking towards it is because they are just watching the bus roll up.

Any thoughts on this guys?

Edit: I'm still not sure on the purple line, it could actually be the path of the rocket.. but it is purple so maybe it is not maxis at all, maybe maxis's calculations weren't incorrect, maybe this mysterious possible new character with the purple colour coding and the weird voice in die rise actually sent this projectile to earth...?
