  1. What about leaving one zombie and going to town to buy perks. Then you are essentialy "boosting" your doors opened and perks drank
  2. I'm open to any rebuttals to my previous reply. And I'm not saying that in a jerk smart alec way. I'm a very open minded person and would enjoy having an intelligent conversation where we exchange ideas without plugging our ears screaming "lalalala I CAN'T HEAR YOU"
  3. My idea is that it will take place in Pakistan, based off of the map Overflow. The original idea for overflow was that the streets would be flooded, but the idea was scrapped due to Killstreaks needing ground mobility. I believe that instead of fog we will have to tread through waist high water, and be attacked by "water denizens". The Transportation will be ziplines, and maybe the helicopter will in fact be a part of it.
  4. 4 players, each with elec traps on the bus, turrets on top, all facing different directions, and each holding a turbine (to replace one when another breaks) I've always thought it would be cool, but I don't know how effective it would be.
  5. Interesting side note: Nacht was called prototype. Map Nazi_Zombie_Prototype
  6. I started typing this with a kernel of an idea and the ideas kept coming so ignore the sense of rambling and try to read through it xD My theory is that this new map will take place in none other than Peshawar, Pakistan. The location of the Multiplayer Map Overflow, and the Campaign mission "Fallen Angel". This location will become a "triple crown" location in the same way as Ascension (USSR) and Verrückt (Berlin) were with being both Campaign and Multiplayer maps. Originally, overflow was supposed to have flooded streets, but the idea was scrapped. My theory is that they will implement the flooded streets back into the map as well as have it be a dynamic element with the water "Rising" occasionally and thus giving the map it's name. I also believe that the map will play into the idea of the 3 sides, and the triangles and such. With a 3rd map possibly taking place somewhere in the south pacific, or even the Antartic. This is where it get's a little trippy. "2 obtuse vertices of the scalene" Obtuse > 90° Scalene = Triangle = 180° Therefore a Scalene cannot have a 2 obtuse vertices. Or can it?! Spherical triangles. These are, as the name implies, Triangles on a sphere, such as the Earth. These can have up to 540° thus allowing for even 3 obtuse angles. http://mathworld.wolfram.com/SphericalTriangle.html Now, I was okay at Math but I never got into Spherical Trig, so I can't tell you the exact location of the 3rd tower (as per my theory) but my eyes tell me the Antartic (as I previously stated) or possibly South America, or even South Africa. Someone with a globe should play around with it xD
  7. My initial though was New York as well. Mainly because the title is all English and the maps generally have names from where they take place, however it is also possible that it could take after the map Overflow from MP much like Ascension from Launch. I know a lot of people are going with Aftermath, however I don't think that is as likely seeing as how that map takes place in Los Angeles, and we already have two maps on the west coast of the US and with the whole globe to work with you think they would spread it out a little.
  8. I looked into this one. I'm calling R-A-G-E. It's the only four letter R word that would make sense. That or R-U-G-S. But I doubt it would be rugs. race, rack, racy, rads, raft, raga, rage, rags, raid, rail, rain, rake, ramp, rams, rand, rang, rank, rant, rape, raps, rapt, rare, rash, rasp, rate, rats, rave, rays, raze, razz, rcpt, read, real, ream, reap, rear, recd, redo, reds, reed, reef, reek, reel, refs, rein, rely, rems, rend, rent, reps, resp, rest, revs, rhea, rial, ribs, rice, rich, rick, ride, rids, rife, riff, rift, rigs, rile, rill, rime, rims, rind, ring, rink, riot, ripe, rips, rise, risk, rite, rive, road, roam, roan, roar, robe, robs, rock, rode, rods, roes, roil, role, roll, romp, rood, roof, rook, room, root, rope, ropy, rose, rosy, rota, rote, rots, roue, rout, roux, rove, rows, rube, rubs, ruby, ruck, rude, rued, rues, ruff, rugs, ruin, rule, rump, rums, rune, rung, runs, runt, ruse, rush, rusk, rust, ruts
  9. The only problem I have with this idea is that Aftermath is Los Angeles, and that would be every map thus far condensed into one small spot on the big globe that we have. I'm thinking either New York, or possibly Japan. Although, with the all English title, I would have to go with it being in the U.S. Edit: As for the title "Die Rise" it may have to do with the idea of a dying and rising god. Perhaps story related. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dying-and-rising_god
  10. Marlton clearly was a member of some government organization, and as you may know, the government usually has access to, and develops, technology years before it is released to the public. He could easily have a watch that wasn't released until several years later. Or he's some random joe who wanted to hide from all the zombies and just happened to find a fallout shelter in the middle of nevada. Where is your evidence? This is the whole 60s past theory right there in a nutshell: assuming from quotes and making a story in your head about it, backed by no evidence whotsoever. So he survived several missiles hitting earth and then just happened to find his way to a nuclear testing facility in the middle of nowhere and decided to hide there, and THEN decided to leave there and go to green run? Also, could you please tell which weapons are from any time but the 60's, except for those in the box (because, as has been stated by "word of god" (just like that nuketown zombies takes place after the MP map) they are MAGIC and therefore are not bound by time.
  11. Marlton clearly was a member of some government organization, and as you may know, the government usually has access to, and develops, technology years before it is released to the public. He could easily have a watch that wasn't released until several years later.
  12. Your argument is invalid. When someone disproves you, you simply say the same thing over again as though it suddenly becomes correct. Weapons are not canon. The map five contains a gun that was not designed until approximately 9 years after the events, let alone used in service.
  13. I thought the same thing about the bubbles, however if you look at the moon loading screen you can see the same effect.
  14. It's actually 12 21, most likely representing the day
  15. Actually, the Starman picture directly relates to a pentagram (notice the encompassing circle), and the reference to 2112 is that said pentagram is interchangeable in terms of inverting. The man turning away from the star symbolizes the struggle with coping with such angst, as much as he tries he cannot escape the bed he's made for himself. The encompassing circle has absolutely nothing to do with a pentagram. The circumscription of a pentagram makes it a pentacle. The circumscription of a star makes it a star inside a circle. While you are correct that orientation (inverted/not) is irrelevant to whether something is or isn't a pentagram I will remain adamant that the connecting lines are in fact a defining factor of a simple inverted decagon (non connecting center) or a pentagram (connecting centers). As for the debate on the meaning of the Starman; you couldn't be more off. The Man represents the Hero and his nakedness represents his purity. He is a perfectly good, non-corrupted abstract man. Whereas the star represents a collectivist mentality, with the man turning from said star not being angst from "trying to escape the bed he made for himself" but rather his plight against the masses. He made no bed for himself; he discovered a wondrous tool from an ancient world and presented it to the priests (the collectivist masses) and the turned him away saying it was a useless toy. The priests had told him (and everyone else) what to do, what to think, how to live, even what art to appreciate all of their lives and when the oracle "showed(him) the light" (the world before the priests) he couldn't stand living under the priests reign. He then killed himself; becoming a martyr and sparking a galactic revolt. I'm not saying a pentagram or a pentacle or anything else has nothing to do with the story of Zombies, I'm just saying that you are going at it from the wrong angle. I fully believe that Rez is simply a Rush fan and was celebrating Rush day.
  16. No doubt that the twitter belongs to Pinjiro looking for attention.
  17. Being as I am a huge Rush fan, so much so that Rushfan1 is my screen name, I to was tickled by the fact that he says his name in a way that sounds like Rush. The biggest, gaping hole in your theory is that the pantagram is absolutely nowhere in anything Rush has ever done. The Star in the famous starman picture from 2112 is just that: a five pointed star and is not a pentagram, but rather a concave decagon.
  18. I think we are getting a little off topic here. No one is saying that the game is realistic. There are Zombies so that throws any realism out the window immediately. What the OP was question was the rules already established by the zombie universe. I believe InfestLithium has the best answer in that it is simply a layer of lava and not the wall of fire used in the traps.
  19. With moon you start off in Area 51 if I'm not mistaken, that could be the location on the world map. As for Shangri-La, I know there are some theories about it being on mars (which I like those ideas but don't necessarily think they are correct) but I think it may be somewhere in the middle east.
  20. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ellipsoid There is everything you need to know about an ellipsoid. The scalene version of which is based upon Three principle axes. Which leaves me with my only problem: vertexes. I cannot for the life of me figure out where a vertex comes in when dealing with an ellipsoid.
  21. Or maybe think about all the things you really want in the game. Jug is number one and by correlation the power. Maybe we should try some things without ever turning the power on in the first place.
  22. I'll just continue with my own theories in this thread as opposed to making new ones. Morse code (assuming from Richtofen being as it occurs once the power is on) "Help me so I can help you" ---I believe this in reference to the fact that after you complete the Richtofen side he gives you power ups. "The future is ours to destroy" --- Richtofen wants the world to be overrun entirely with Zombies. "Power is knowledge" --- A play off of knowledge is power, and a reference to the fact that the power needs to be on to complete the EE on Richtofen's side "Go to the light" ---I would think that it was referring to itself as being the light, but then I would think it would say "come" not "go". Nonetheless, I think it is pretty straight forward. "Energy can only be transformed" ---I think this is in reference to the Avagodro, you can't kill him, only transform him into power for the Obelisk "We shall prevail" ---self explanatory "Stay close to me" ---This is the big one. I think this is what ties it all together. Jimmy's tweet mentioned commitment. The power-ups are dropped regularly. Jimmy's TwitPics had the caption "Totally here" and "I'm still here..." To me that references staying in one place for a long period of time. Therefore, I think you need to camp under the obelisk and kill kill kill
