  1. So I'm in the middle of a game right now and I'm riding the Tram to get my Symbols and I buy the Bootlegger. Well I was standing there looking at it after I bought it & I noticed something peculiar.

The initials R.K. on the slot where the magazine goes. I've never seen any mention of this before and I damn sure hadn't seen it myself, until now.

My question to you guys is who is R.K. or more importantly, do you think this is even important. I know other weapons have there names and such on them but R.K. doesn't go with Bootlegger or Ein Stein.

  2. Ok guys so I just ran another game. This time I was Jackie "Fucking" Vincent once again. When I first started up the game I did my thing and headed to Footlight to get Jugg. I hit the box once while in the process and got the RayGun. Round 3.

I proceeded to ride the Tram & get my 3 Symbols. I noted these and stopped in the Waterfront District. I opened everything here while leaving the Junction & Beast stairs closed. While here I decided, I'm going to go do this new "Noire" E.E. Now my screen is permanently Black & White. Round 4.

I left the Waterfront and headed towards the Canal District. Here I collected my 3rd Fuse as well as my 3rd Shield part. Built my shield at this workbench. Headed towards the Rift.

Now by this time I've gotten all the parts for the Rituals as well as the Fuse Box. The following Round was a Parasite Round. So Instead of just killing them all immediately, I turned into the "Beast" and consumed a few. Opened up the rest of the Rift area excluding the Sword Chamber.

Then I decided I'm going to go ahead and do the Rituals. So I did. However I didn't pick up any of the Worms. I left them. I also completed all 4. Went back to the Rift and ended the Round.

Now I just ran through the next few Rounds until the "Elemental" Round. Once this Round occurred I Turned into the "Beast" consumed a few, and opened the Sword Chamber. Grabbed the Egg and held onto it.

The next phase of Rounds I summoned the Civil Protector in every District getting kills there the entire Round. Once this was completed, I went back into the Rift for the 3rd "Elemental" Round. This is the one where the Margwa Spawns in.

This is when I began to collect the parts for the Apothicon Servant. I collected the Heart from this Margwa. I then started opening all the Pods to acquire the "Margwa Tail". I hadn't touched a Pod until this point.

I also collected all the Worms and placed them in the Pedestals. I did not activate PaP. I gathered the Worms In this particular order. The same in which I completed the "Rituals" where I got the *Ding*  all 4x, Footlight, Junction/Rift, Canals, & Waterfront.

I finally got the Xenomatter and built the Apohicon Servant on Round 24-25. Beginning of a Parasite/Elemental Round. This is when I activated PaP. The following Round Filled the Apothicon Egg. I also activated the Civil Protector in each district once again.

Once completed I traded out the A.S. for the Vesper. I placed the Egg & grabbed my Sword. I immediately killed with it.

I ran some more Rounds, doing Various differentt things. Not of any importance. Anyhow I had accumulated around 150,000pts. Well I spent roughly 120,000 on the box and never did get it back.

Unfortunately I ended up dying, and didnt get to test some things. I'm about to start up another game, except this time I'm leaving it in color. I dont suggest playing with it in B&W for very long.

TL;DR A summary of the game I just played. This is now the second time I've spent well over 100,000pts, and didn't get the A.S. back.

We're getting close boyyyys were getting close.

  3. I've got to agree with @The Clay Bird on this one. I mean really Treyarch your better than that. Making up some fake ass language you knew we wouldn't be able to solve/figure out. Just to acquire a core gameplay mechanic. This is something they should have done for the Main Side Quest/Easter Egg.

Yea it's great they gave us a "Hint/Key" that pertain to certain words, but they didn't give us all of them. Even if we can figure out what the other symbols mean in "Apothicon" Language. Were still not going to have the English translation of said words.

Honestly just look up the video for Battlefields Illuminati Easter Egg that was just solved. That thing is absolutely crazy. They all had to work together as a "Community" to try and figure it out.

I believe that's what Treyarch were aiming for with this one. Only problem they didn't foresee was everyone worrying about their own personal gain from being the "First" to solve something. Because that's where this "Community" (none of you guys in here so don't take this personally) is at now, it's all about Me and nothing about what We can accomplish together. Everyone's on a massive Ego-Trip wanting to be the "First".

When in all honesty no one really actually gives a shit. The very same day this is finally solved there will be over 1000 tutorials on YouTube. While barely any of us will remember who solved it first, or even care for that matter.

Sorry for the Rant. Had to get it off my chest, and I'm a lot more comfortable talking to you guys than anywhere else. Don't mind me and my ramblings of a Mad-Man. Please no-one take any of this personally!

TL;DR: Treyarch should have never made up a language to keep us from figuring out how to Upgrade the W.W. A core mechanic in zombies gameplay.

I fell as if we were to work together as a Community, how Treyarch intended with this one. As opposed to us being only worried about ourselves than we probably could've solved this thing by now.

I can confirm that red ones drop too. I don't know what i did , but after completing the main Easter egg and getting the cut scene, they all dropped red. Lighting glitch ? Or something? I told my party about it they all said they never seen this before either. I was the one with the wonder weapon tooZ

I have not done the Easter Egg. This is why I believe it has something to do with upgrading the A.S. because you can get them w/out even starting the E.E./Side Quest.

I've only just begun filling the Apothicon Eg to get the Lightning Sword. A lot of people including myself, believe the Easter Egg/Side Quest shouldn't have to be completed in order to Upgrade the W.W.

Glad someone else can confirm them. I can assure you this is no lighting glitch.

I've never seen them turn red, never even heard it was possible. Can you replicate it?

Yes, they are Red right now in the game I'm playing. Round 21. A.S. built = Kor-Maroth. I've got these perks. Stamin-Up, Jugg, Widows Wine, in that same order. I just started filling the Apothicon Egg & I'm Playing as Jackie "Fucking" Vincent.

I completed the Rituals in this order, Footlight, Rift/Junction, Canals, Waterfront. Got the *Ding* on all 4 rituals. Placed the Worms on Round 15 after I had summoned the Civil Protector in every District.

With the "Beast" I've eaten a Webbed Zombie, Parasite (LightningBug), Elemental (Meatball). While they were all Zapped. Tried the C.P. didn't work.

I didn't harvest a single Pod, until they were all Purple. Once this occurred I opened every Pod in a single Round. I believe it was 12/13.

I'm really starting to feel like you've got to get the Parasite "Lightning Bug" to Bomb Dive on the Red Spider drop. I keep hearing those damn "Coins" or "Chains" rattling. Here's why I say that.

    http://news.sciencemag.org/biology/2015/08/wasps-force-zombie-spiders-weave-cocoon-webs

  6. Well I know for a fact through coding the meatballs in the game are referred to as "Elemental".

However it could also be pertaining to the elemental effect of the lightning sword, or the different elemental effects we get through double PaP.

EDIT: Ok so looking at this guys, we've already done everything we were supposed tto up until his point. We've all gotten the "Ready to Upgrade  Quote".

Now here's the important part. ARBGWAOTH = POWER-UP. In the files the coding referees to the grenades From Widows Wine as Cocoons. However the "Power-Up Drops" are the Cocoons.

There is something we must do with the "Spider Power-Up" that drops. I've had them go from Blue-Red. I honestly believe this is what were missing. Let's not try and make it anymore complicated.

Round 40 came, and all the regular zombies stayed in their spawns. Start of round Mawgra, the fliers, and the pork balls could attack me.

So, am on to something with 40 and the rings, or is it a random glitch at the exact right round?

Now to repeat it and figure out what to do. Rocket Shield (upgrade) around to all of the random tanks in a set amount of time while zombie free?

Wait so your invisible to zombies right now. Not sure I understand. Like there just not attacking you or what. Do you have the shield upgraded or no. Did you hoard them and the kill them while in the circle.

  8. @Cunambula

No we didn't JUST discover this. I've talked about this over 3 weeks ago. To answer your question, Yes I've killed all 7 Margwa inside the Illuminated Circles, using nothing but the Sword. Nothing is changed.

As far as "Steps" & "Purple" Keepers are concerned, none of this is proven to be a "Step" of any sort. I believe what's actually happening is nothing more than when you failed to "Capture" the Shadow Man on the first attempt during a Parasite Round. The Shadow Man gains control of the 4 Keepers who are now in a state of latency due to failing.

THIS community is more driven by the Overall Story & Lore that is Zombies. Not everyone here is even remotely worried about how to Upgrade the A.S. must loan spending hours in end chasing their tail.

If you actually took the time to read through some of the posts made by various people in no specific order. I can name quite a few without even having to think about it.

    @PINNAZ @MixMasterNut @Tac @Nightmare Voyager @Chopper @LiamFTWinter @MrRoflWaffles @Stop Mocking Me0 @DeathBringerZen @MysteryMachineX

  9. Ok fellas let's get back on track here. I know at the end of a Round after a certain point Nero always says the same quote "I must've achieved something today". This has got to mean we are on the right path. The characters never say the exact same quote at the end of every round and so specifically.

@DrVonstool & Everyone else reading for that matter. Where do you stand in wether or not this can be failed to the point of no return. You & a vast majority of the regular guys/gals here. Seem to have a really good grasp on the storyline, E.E./Game Mechanics, as well as the game in general.

Now I know they've never done this before, but with Jason Blundell overseeing everything now. More specifically the video he made where he said he was going to make an E.E. "Hard as Fuck" for lack of a better word. How do you feel?

Could this be the reason no progress has been made?

@83457 I'm like you I start analysing everything, which in return always seems to make me Over Analyze everything. But if you've gotta hunch, go for it. Prove yourself wrong, or prove us wrong (which would be awesome btw)!

I just want to get this figured out. At the end of the day that's all that really matters right. My fears are with DLC Season fast approaching, are many players' focus is going to shift over to Der Eisendrache. Making SoE become irrelevant, especially now knowing the NO4 are going to be the playable characters (I assume), and we all know what happens when you start to assume.

  10. I believe it's by design. However with that being said, I also believe that's what caused the "Glitches" for us to be able to PaP the A.S. and to be able and make the Margwa stop spawning.

Another thing I need to know. To anyone who read this I'm playing as Jessica (mind you I only use her & Nero). Anyway I just got this quote, "Give my regards to the Worms". Funny thing is, I haven't even messed with them yet. I've also never heard her say this before, EVER.

Have any of you ever heard her say this quote?

  11. Ok so I'm going to throw my 2¢ in here. First and foremost, I believe (this is just my honest opinion) that this is the first time where we can actually fail at some point making it irreversible.

My main reasoning for this is the "6 Margwa Hearts". Once we've shot those and acquired the "Margwa Head" we can no longer pick up items within the game.

Also in the coding it has blah.. blah.. blah.. p7_zm_zod_margwa_ heart blah.. Margwa_shiny blah.. M_H.

Now what I believe this is saying is once we do this if we haven't gotten to the point where we need it, then we're awarded the Margwa Head, instead of the Margwa Heart. I believe we'll actually need to do this once we're ready to build the second form of the Apothicon Servant. In order to acquire the 2nd Heart, will result in us Destroying the Margwa Hearts there-fore making it no longer spawn. Thus the reason we could "Glitch" it before it got patched, much like the A.S.

     @83457

I had made mention of this quite some time ago. In regards to being in the circle then it cutting off, once PaP was opened. Even if you had not already started the Sword Quest.

What I did differently than you, was as follows. I went into my characters ritual site and got kills around the alter. Then i proceeded to the ring outside. However while I was playing I strictly used the A.S. no other weapon.

Unfortunately I never got to test out every site because much like you I was in the 30+ area, late at night, and had probably been up for some time playing.

    @DrVonstool

I can confirm everything you said about the Ring Glowing and recharging your Sword (I thought I mentioned it here but maybe not). Either way I've spent a lot of time in these makeshift ritual sites. I've stood in them long enough to make the "Sound" stop, except nothing changed.

This very "Ring" wether activated or not is another reason I believe this may be the first time Treyarch have introduced a Side Quest/E.E. where we the player can actually fail.

I don't understand why it would "Glow" the way it does even when we keep the Sword Chamber Closed. Must loan the way it "Illuminates" as you described. Which would make sense why there has been no further discovery in solving this F*****G "Unsolvable Puzzle".

Once you said roar, I was convinced as it sounds vaguely like a lion yawn and the machines have the Old Tyme lion's heads.

Yea if you manage to get lucky & actually "Catch" one of the Lions Heads. You can see his mouth open & close as if he were yawning.

  13. So I've had the Screen Shake after a Ritual. That being said, in all the times I've played SoE (something like 500+) I've only had this occur once. For me with the amount of Bugs, Glitches, Lighting Glitches, & every other thing wrong. I figured it was another small E.E. Kind of similar to the Chang's Laundry Ticket.

As for my controller turning around on me. I've yet to experience this one (Thank God). That seems like a recent patch may be what's causing it.

I'm thinking that is what it is. I did not hear it last night. I must not have been near it at the right times.

This is exactly what you heard almost like a Yawn-Roar. I'm curious though if this may be indicative of something. Especially since the "Empty Machines" tend to do this as well.

  15. This is what's going to lead us to figuring this "Unsolvable Puzzle" out. Nice thinking guys. Now I think that the Upgraded Trip Mines are a necessity or "Required". I cannot confirm this. However, in that game I had me some Devil-O-Doughnuts.

Speaking of that game. I did almost all of the achievements.

    • I ate my entire pack of GobbleGums.
    • The Spider & The Fly: Kill 10 Zombies ensnared by a single W.W. grenade.
    • Strike!: Kill 10 Zombies with a single boost with the Shield.
    • Para-Site Seeing: Kill 5 Parasites in a single Train Ride.
    • From the Shadows: Spot the Shadow Man 5x.
    • Sorry we're DEAD: Kill 10 Zombies in a store.
    • Beat Cop: Summon the Civil Protector in every District.

On top of all this I did a few of the Upgrade quests.

    • Upgraded Trip-Mines: Devil-O-Doughnuts
    • Upgraded Lil' Arnie
    • Upgraded Sword
    • Acquired Margwa Mask
    • Almost forgot, I listened to every single phone call. The ones before the Ritual, after the Ritual, & the Train calls as well.

I'm pretty sure I got the heart from doing the PaP ritual. I let all the others fade away. I built it in the Footlight District.

  16. Very nice post @ChinaRepublic. You have some very good points. Especially the Trapezohedron being found in an "Alien Looking" Box. Not just of Alien Nature.

I've got something I'm working on now, that hopefully I can have written up sometime today. Pretty interesting stuff.

@83457 I'm not exactly sure what it is your referring to in Chang's. I'm going to taken a look real fast and see.

  17. 9 hours ago, ChinaRepublic said:

Read something about this somewhere. Apparently somebody found code that reads something similar to "IDGUN_QUEST_REMOVE_BOX."

Two people referencing this really makes me believe it's a step. I'll post the link where I got the code if I find it.

Seriously go look at the post I made from my game like two weeks ago. I even stated then it was a weird ass game. I can't remember exactly what I did, but it was around the time that @Chopper had told me about how to make the Margwa not spawn in.

I was messing around with the "Apothicon Egg" after I built the "Apothicon Servant". Somewhere in between the madness I ran out of Ammo (W.W.) & replaced it for the Vesper (Canals-Rift). At the time none of this code had been released or revealed to anyone (AKAIK).

  18. If you guys would listen to me I've had the next "Step" happen to me. Look at my post on here from a week or two ago.

This was before we ever knew anything about a "Cocoon" even existing. I'm trying to tell you why no progress is being made.

Eventually you've got to put down the Apothicon Servant. In other words replace it with another weapon. No wonder no progress is being made. Everyone is running around still holding the damn thing.

By doing so, this allows the first one to be taken out of the Mystery Box. Therefore the next Step becoming activated. Which then will lead to progression and the second form being built.

It's not that far fetched if you actually stop and think about it. We have made this way more difficult and complicated than it needs to be. It's right in front of us but everyone has tunnel vision, so there not seeing clearly.

  19. Well the Cocoons have been spawned in game. Forcefully but they are in there nonetheless. I've got the image & would like to share it, therefore I can give you my hypothetical view on what this may actually be.

    svMUma3.png.942766422e51d1739b4bcdeec16d

(Mods delete this if it shouldn't be in here, I just wanna figure this out).

So as you can see this is what the "Cocoons" in SoE look like. Now let me give you my opiniono n what we need to do. If you look closely at it, it looks very similar to what the Arch-Ovum we acquire from the Keeper.

Now we have the Apothicon Servant & we have an Apothicon Egg. When we first receive the "Egg" it appears to be covered in Spider Webs. Almost as if it's forming a Cocoon. If you listen to the charactersq quotes while fillingt "Egg" you can hear them talk about how big & how heavy it becomes.

Now once we receive the Arch-Ovum, it appears that a Cocoon has actually formed. Not too mention whilst in the Keepers hands it's the same color, & not Black how it appears in our menu.

My thinking is this. Once we've gotten the 2 quotes we've been getting. We then need to take the "Apothicon Servant" and put it inside the "Apothicon Egg" so it can Upgrade itself. I know it's an Egg & the first ones used for the Sword itself. But I believe Treyarch have done this to throw us off course.

We never actually do anything with the Arch-Ovum. We just give the Keeper the "Apothicon Sword" & they Upgrade it to the "Keeper Sword". At which time I believe, if done correctly would also be the point in which the "Apothicon Servant" would be upgraded as well. Thus explaining why we can only do it Once per Round. Giving it time to Mature.

@DrVonstool I'm glad I'm not the only one that God forsaken "Book" has driven crazy.

I heard a rumor REALLY early on that the chain trap's margwa hearts (on the ends of the activation chains) can be "upgraded" by shocking the hearts themselves.

But see I've tried this. What would you have to do all of them in one go. Or just all of them eventually. It doesn't make sense to me. Like why are those Beast Symbols on the boards the chains come out of.

Supposedly the second version of the Apothicon Servant uses one of those hearts.
