  1. This is easily the best strategy to use now since the patch. Great method, and perfect placement for Jug & Stamina, should anything go wrong. Bravo.
  2. If you listen to the messages on the TV at farm, one person goes on to tell us... "Those of us who have not sided with either of the voices, have been hunted down by them" To me, this is telling us that if survivors chose not to side with either Maxis or Richtofen, were seen as a threat, and eliminated. My thoughts on it, are that the zombies with the neck collars, are being controlled by Maxis, through electronic mind control, and the ones without are Richtofen's. This is how they are able to hunt us down if we fail to comply. After all, Richtofen does go on to explain in earlier, BO1 radio's, that Maxis had ambitions to control an undead army. He clearly had these zombies on standby, should Edward go ahead with his plans for global domination. Could be wrong though, but it does seem obvious that the zombies are split into two groups. Those with, and those without the collars, and there is two people vying for control.
  3. The clock hand turned clockwise, not anti-clockwise, on Ascension. The clocks on Tranzit are pretty suspicious, especially since the clocks that say 19:50 and the ones that say 17:10, are actually mirror images of each other, and the hands also formed a triangle, which is one of the themes of the Maxis Easter Egg/Side Quest. Also, having 3 clocks on the map that have the time of 19:50, and 2 with the time of 17:10, made me think that the lone, handless clock in town, would have to somehow be set to 17:10, in order to match up with the other two. Never came to anything, despite endless days spend testing out every possible theory I could think of with my group. Once Die Rise dropped, and I saw the warped clocks on that map, I gave up on the Tranzit clocks, as it became clear, that this was maybe going to be a theme throughout the maps. The thing about the previous Easter Egg steps in the final 4 maps on BO1, is that they were all relatively sensible steps, that made sense with what you were doing. All the steps seems relevant to what you were achieving overall. Tranzit certainly did not feel finished, but now we know we will be going back to Tranzit when we obtain the final Navcard, and until then, I am happy to put Tranzit on the back burner, and wait till that day. :)
  4. Don't know what tactic you are using on the Nova rounds, but I can normally finish a round in 30 seconds or less, with a Raygun. If anything, they are the easiest bonus round to feature in zombies to date.
  5. Well, for some reason, the only times we can get it to work, it has always been a different character that has the Ballistic Knifes from Samuel, and it never seems to work when Stulinger has them. My guess though, is that it is glitched out, as they ToB's also suffer from glitches. Take the step where you Kill the Avogadro under the pylon. It always say's "Nein, the portable energy systems are drained, you must repeat a step", yet, when we get out into the road, we hear him say "Yes... but we need more energy"!?! Not sure why they are in such a mess right now, but since the last patch, we have only managed to do Maxis once, out of four attempts. We cannot seem to get the "Enlightenment" quote anymore. :?:
  6. Ya it's because people built it already. You'd have to build it on Solo. No disrespect intended, but you're signature is an eyesore, and brutal to look at. You should consider changing it.
  7. Fine work here. Could also be a case of Samuel hearing Richtofen when in close contact to zombies, because they are being controlled by him, and with Stulinger being infected with 115, due to having either ate zombies due to hunger, and lack of food in the world, or having previously been a zombie, as some have suggested, then it gives him the ability to hear Richtofen through them. Interesting find.
  8. I am basing it more on the idea that they are called "Persistant Perks" by the guys over at Treyarch, and how can you be persistant, if you get it from the global stats? All of them so far are based on persistantly doing something ingame, not globally. I have 1400+ perks drank. If I got it today, then lost it. How would I get it back? would I have to double my perks to get it again? It just seems strange to think it would be based on the global stats, as people have reported it with only 100 perks drank. I'm completely clueless though on it. Will do the same as you, and test it out when I get on.
  9. If you lost it when buying a perk, then I am completely lost. lol How can we get a persistant perk, from buying a perk-a-cola, then losing it by buying another? Damn you Treyarch... my mind is mush!
  10. It can't be based on how many perks you have drank from a global stance, because, when you lose it, how would you re-obtain it? I'm guessing it is based on how many perks you buy in a row. This way, you would lose it if you get free perks from the Novas, but get it back by buying perks.
  11. The PHD corridor has been noclipped on the PC now, and the PHD machine is just a flat, 2D image, much like a cardboard cut out, than a 3D model, like the other perk machines. Also noted is the fact that, when noclipped, there is no music coming from the perk machine, unlike the others. Still not sure if the flopper music is in the PC files or not, but people have reported that the icon for flopper is also missing from the image files within the PC data. Definitely a troll.
  12. So... it is still unknown how this "cash back" perk is obtained then?
  13. Wow. Completely forgot about most of these. Incredible work putting all this together. Really enjoyed reading a few of them again. :)
  14. I think the noise we hear at the end of Die Rise is supposed to be a giants footsteps, hinting towards us going back to Der Riese.
  15. Use those 5 yours to chill, lean back, take a smoke and a drink. And don't think about this. That's all help I can give you. The egg is over! [*:iqob8duc]What Jake-Duck said. [*:iqob8duc]Thousands of people researching this topic intensely, without a single result - every single idea has been disproved. [*:iqob8duc]No single random guy has ever detected something without doing active research (e.g. some dude would at a 99.99% probability once throw a Gersh by accident out there for step one. After more than a year, it would be most likely, that the mysterious additional step would have been discovered just by accident. [*:iqob8duc]The easter eggs from COTD, Shangri and Moon where solved within a few yours. OK maybe COTD coop took 2 days or so, but it still fast. But you can't claim, that Ascension is not solved after 400 days. [*:iqob8duc]The psychology of the egg tells in some way, that it goes on. Especially the "come find me" and the Death Machines. 3arc tells you, that you should use the death machines to find Samantha. But it's misunderstood. The death machines are your reward, and don't fulfill a certain purpose on a next step. The "come find me" is a story related thing, like a super radio message, that tells you, that the team (Richtofen) needs to find Samantha, as we can see on Moon. 3arc was searching their Easter Egg thing. Just follow the reward logic, they slowly put down their shyness. The reward chronology is: Achievement - Deatch Machines timed - Wunderwaffe not timed - Perks for one - Perks for all. Makes all sense. Or... the shorter version. Treyarch added it as a troll. They give all the players Deathmachines, and have Samantha tell us to "Come find me", and we all go chasing shadows, but never find anything. Simple.
  16. Completely agree. The majority of people who made is past round 60, did so using this method. The Jetgun was never intended to be used like this. If you cannot play it the way it is intended, too bad. I am pleased they did this.
  17. The beams of light can also be seen on PC, and there is reports of them being seen on the Wii U version also. If they were a glitch, I am sure Treyarch would have attempted to patch them by now.
  18. Agreed. This thread is extremely misleading, and it is almost certain he was just talking about EMP's.
  19. 2 post's old, and already at it with the verbal. sigh...
  20. Yes, it is because he has been eating zombies, due to a lack of food. This is made evident, by listening to the message on the TV, where Richtofen speaks to the nervous gentleman, who replies... "Hello? Yes, I can hear you! Yes, of course I have... there's nothing else." This is him admitting he has eaten zombies as there is no other food, and to also explain why Samuel can hear Richtofen also.
  21. Thank you!!! I have been trying to tell people this for over a week now! I read that interview about 3 weeks before the game came out. It was only JUST posted in PSN, but it was NOT new information, just a "recycled" press release he used again.
  22. Mate, I think everyone seems to be missing something here! Look at the lights ON the bus! The two red lights stand out at all? Those 2 lights at the top are NEVER on!!! I think he is referring to thoses lights on his original post, not the "apparent" orbs that people think are around the headlights. I think Hex has looked at the picture wrong, and thinks he is seeing orbs around the headlights, but I am pretty sure the OP on the Activision thread is talking about the red lights.
  23. Yes, I managed to complete the Maxis Tower of Babble on solo using the infinite turbine glitch, so, although it IS possible to do it on solo, using this method, it is not the likely method required for solo play, as I doubt Treyarch would expect us to cheat in order to pull it off. So... yes, Maxis can be done on solo, but only if you use the infinite turbine glitch, and even then, it is not that easy to pull it off. No doubt there is an easier method to doing it on solo, but so far, no one knows.
  24. Exactly! Much like Spider's... you see him activating 4 beams, but never see the 4 running together later in the game. I do not think it is coincidence that I have done it so many times and never had more than 2 beams running!? Though, it is strange that, when I did the Maxis ToB in solo, it only required 1 turbine under 1 lamp to work at the end!?!
  25. Well, it does look pretty clear he got 4 lamps lit, but I would like to have seen it in action for a bit longer. After all, when we got the lamps to swap beams, the original ones could still be seen shooting to the pylon for a few seconds after we activated the seconds two beams, then they stopped. In Megamans video, we seen them (all 4) when he first activates the second set of beams. Not later in the game. I have done the Maxis ToB well over 30+ times now, and NEVER, EVER, have I been able to activate 4 beams for him. I even recently got 8 beams active for Richtofen, but never more than two for Maxis. God, once I even did Maxis on Solo, and got it to work with just one beam. Megaman is one of the only people on Youtube I completely believe, so if he says he had the 4 running at the same time for the remainder of his game, then I believe him, but it is something I have NEVER been able to replicate, so don't think it is essentially neccassary.
