  1. Follow up; there is a hole in the roof that zombies come in... Perhaps opening the first free door from the inside. All four camp in there. I wonder if the windows would slow the incoming horde at all. So 4 windows and 1 roof hole with four people watching the door. Maybe switch out 2 people every reload? Maybe on easy for the slow moving zombies? Give the game an 'old school camp' feeling...
  2. I haven't heard this mentioned, the music probably holds a clue or clues to the ee...or maybe more. Is it a sedan? There is a 'sedan, new way to travel' poster i think in the start room. Listen to it, ray gun it, grenade it, jetgun it...
  3. All zombie maps boggle the mind for a little while and then I grok them and they become fun and easy. Tranzit was no different. The other day I didn't think twice about running the fog from farm to town in the middle of round 27, that is when I knew I had mastered the map. I just need to memorize one or two more lamp surroundings, so that I know which one I just teleported to.
  4. He starts by saying 'while doing research for a ww2 movie' or similar. GR would never do a Ww2 movie! Conspiracy!
  5. This has been my thoughts. The only joy that I can imagine getting out of easy mode would be a 4 man camp game. They would meander slowly into your campsite for easy mass headshotting.
  6. Well, if we all glitch to round 300, they might... Too boring for me though.
  7. Trying to survive a 4 man camp in verruckt on round 26... Play a bo zombie game without glitches/errors... Playing verruckt with squeekers...
  8. Moon, remember? And bo in general for how glitchy it was and the fact that temmates would kill you while you revive them. I love green run. At frst I didn't warm up to it, but I have that with every map. Ascension was fun due to how incredibly easy it was. Yet, when it launched, I used to complain how hard it was because of the annoying start area (still my least favorite start room). Then, it became the absolute easyist. I liked "five" for the challenge. Green run, just play farm until it is easy, play town until it is easy, then the whole tranzit thing is easy. The worst part is taking 30 minutes on an early round to get power on, build all of the bus bits, get gk, build jg, but then you are set for 20+ rounds.
  9. On the part about the jetgun disappearing and the turbine being above the restrooms of the bus depot: I realise in retrospect, after playing last night, that not only did the turbine appear up there, but I could see up through the roof; a large section of the roof there was not there while the turbine was up there. It wasn't until I was looking at the inside roof last night that I realised that it was different.
  10. I was just thinking of these things: where reality in gaming alters for a while. This week: I think I'll play solo zombies... Goes done early twice... Gah, my as well keep going for practice, next game will be good... Sets new round records, wishes for those 2 downs back so I could go further. This happened twice in a row. Last week: shooting zombies 20 feet away, get hit, run, look alll around... Only zombies were the ones in front of me, 20 feet away...wtf? Oh, zombies are closing in, turns to run, gets hit, 360 all around clear, hit yet again from 20 feet away. Over 75% of my deaths occur due to glitches or recovering from glitches. Thank you theater mode for proving how badly cod games are programmed (hey, bo2 is a huge step up from bo at least). Yesterday: buy gk diner, no....buy gk at diner, no, still won't let me buy it, last try, oh, the game finally worked, but now I get beat down during the 'i got knuckles' animation. Town survival yesterday: buy knuckles, nope, game failed. Sneak around train, grab knuckles, nope. GRAB the fn KNUCKLES! Finally the game works right...beat down during the 'i got knuckles' animation due to game error again. These things come in clumps. At least my teammate can't kill me as I revive him like in bo... I hope that your luck turns. I set 3 new records for me in the last 2 days after a dry spell.
  11. Thanks. I'm not into that kind of glitching, but it is funny. Good tip if I see someone doing that. Also, I heard (didn't try it) that you can lay down with a shield, look up and a lone zombie can't get you or hit the shield enough to break it. I assumed bs on the shield, I figured it would still break over time. Last night in mid 20 rounds, just outside of farm, while pooling zombies, there was the golden parts of a max ammo, but no usual greenish glow and no aura round it. i could not pick it up and it eventually blinked out... Odd.
  12. I've tried both, I find that opening the back stairs works because as they come out the back door, rarely do they come from upstairs, and when they do, they don't come down the stairs. So, when I get to the steps I run up them and fall off just past the door. So you don't run under the deck, so the back door is no issue. Everyone has their own style, not telling you how to play, just explaining my reasoning. Happy gaming!
  13. When I did it with four people, we stayed under the tower, we killed under the tower, hardly any gk, just shooting and it took like 15 rounds before it worked, so explosives (incl ray gun) seem to be key, that or gibs. Shooting, stabbing didn't do much.
  14. Um, picking up parts has always awakened the zombies solo. I assumed they were just a point bonus to get you started without a bank run. An extra 520 to start your game. Edit: I am not implying there couldn't be more to them...
  15. I figured people loved it, but everything has its detractors. @ trevbo, it is always fun to do fine with minimal stuff while the box worshippers run out of money. Great story on nuketown. @ all: thanks for posting, happy gaming. Even if it seems obvious to us, some novice today will say, hmm, let me give that pistol a try... Many newbies miss the value of high movement rate and ease of wallgun (busgun?) ammo. You don't need any big toys until at least round 20, make it there before you worry too hard about that sldg hmmr.
  16. I'm not looking to sit in a glitch for hours to round 8 billion, I just want to laugh at and point out some oddities and would love to hear yous stories. Get zombie in bus terminal lava as the bus comes up: this will get the zombie stuck in the floor of the bus in mellow mode until the bus leaves. I did the same thing to myself trying to squeeze between the bus and some background stuff, I was in the floor of the bus. A simple jump got me on the bus proper. I have been trapped between the bus, background cars and zombies at diner as it was leaving, i got picked up over the zombies, they exploded from the bus, dropped safely...I thought that I was dead... If you play tranzit, in town, you can hear leftover zombies under the ground. i clearly had two under the map last night. Unlike der riese, these don't count as 'in map', the round can end and you will hear them still. Go to the upstairs bar room, end the round and listen at the window, you should hear at least one (heard in many games, I am sure you will hear it). Everyone knows the 'can't get hit glitch' in power, right? Well, if you run across the middle of the hole in the catwalk without jumping, you should land on a small ledge so that the catwalk is chest high. Move slightly towards the wall (too far and you fall on the glitch-ledge below) and the zombies build up on the hole and can't hit you. Do it offline only. I'm not responsible for any deaths you incur trying to do this glitch. Just fyi: if you go back into the bus depot with the 750 door closed, zombies can come in a hole in the roof as well as the four windows. Randoms: denizen chased me around the bus depot, would not get on my head, just kept running at my feet, shoving me around if I released control of the sticks. Denizen failed to dig hole, just faced straight down and danced on his face. Denizens will chase you across bus depot, unlike the other map sections where they back off. I swapped my jetgun for the turbine to open the pap, when I returned for the jetgun, it wouldn't let me pick it up, presumably due to it touching the turbine table. It gave me a turbine, and in my attempts to get the jg while being chased by the last zombie, I dropped the turbine on the jetgun. The zombie began to beat on it and then came after me. I thought he beat the turbine and/or jetgun down, however, the turbine teleported to the top of the restrooms (next to qr) in the middle of that 'roof' area where it just kept plodding away. The jg was nowhere to be seen, no parts or anything. When I went to town, It simply let me grab a new one. Last night in a 2 man split screen game, I was Misty, Baz was Samuel. He was down (he is always down) I got double tagged and went down. As I went down, he just magically got up (I wasn't reviving him). I once got up magically as Samuel when I was down, Richtofen said something about all zombies needing a hand once in a while or something (it seems Samuel is part zombie from eating them, that is why only he can hear Richtofen). So that is twice now that I have seen Samuel just undown himself. If you stand by the jetgun workbench while someone is upstairs in the bar, they are closer above the zombies than you are to the side, so you are safe there as long as they stand their ground upstairs, the zombies run right past. You could put a turbine/turret here. Anyone got anything they want to add? Just mention a silly or useful glitch.
  17. Less far fetched than some stories. I'll ponder this. Happy conspiring!
  18. I plowed through campign on regular just to play ndu. Like a week later they patched the game so that you could just choose zombies at the main menu. At least the campaign was fun on regular...
  19. Welcome to the zombie freak forum. While I do play the mp, I am a zombier first. Cool story bro story: my friend would tell me about this house where zombies break in the windows and attack you (yawn, mm-hmm), then he started making me play it (no interest, did nothing for me- he sucks at explaining games, coming up with strategies). Then a few weeks later he made me play again...suddenly this Nacht Der Untoten thing began to get its undead grip on my happy place. I began telling him what strategies we should use. When it was time to go, I said 'crap, now I guess that I have to buy this stupid game'... He pulled out a brand-new plastic-wrapped waw and gave it to me. He said he was wondering who to give it to. This was just shy of the release of Shi No Numa, I downloaded Zombie Verruckt and have been an addict ever since.
  20. Bus survival: in front of 'bus' (pile of cars in survival) or behind bus, 2 players: one does front, one does back. Single player; small circles until overrun, run full map. ----- Farm, you can train through the whole map, i avoid the house unless emergency>>> Survival or Tranzit: note that in Tranzit, the one shed will be closed, making this harder. But in Tranzit, you can run at the end of the driveway/ fog. Run in tight circles in front of qr (where it is in survival) until it gets too many incoming, walk along lava by house, turn and shoot, then run to barn (if lawn by semi is crowded, run upstairs in house, jump out wall-hole), make slight right inside door of barn, turn and shoot, go out side door of barn, turn left, at driveway make right, stay along right edge, turn and shoot, now run up your new right side, back to crack, turn and fire, repeat. Running to the barn is easier on survival, because you can cut through the gk shed if needed. --- Nuketown, open turquoise house, leave stairs inside closed. Open back door, eventually open outside steps. Run counter clockwise, often use the outside steps, fall off up top while continuing the loop. Eventually just run back and forth in a bar/ C shape from left to right of the back yard. Early, run around the red truk in the middle until it gets opened, then it is less good. If running yellow house: open front door, ignore inside stairs door, open back door to the left so zombies aren't coming out under the deck in the back yard, open outside steps, run similar to turquoise house. ---- Tranzit power: if the bus is there, climb ladder, jump off front, run away, run back, climb laddder, repeat. If no bus, just run a bar/ semi C shape where bus would park. Stay near the vehicle side, running around the crowd on the lava side (running a bit of lava beats a zombie beatdown).
  21. The B23R. I love this thing. My first thought was 'a pistol? (Sigh)', but it works quite well and gives a good movement rate and, in Tranzit, it comes to you every now and then so you can buy ammo if needed. Granted, on round 100, it won't help, but not much does at that point. From online games: 4 man: each player mentions what pap'd guns they have and I'm like b23r and m1911 nonpap'd which is usually followed by chuckles (and i'll have first/second most kills)... 2 man with a friend spectating on round 16: 'what gun is that?' 'B23R'. 'Damn, that's taking them out in one shot (headhot)'! 'Yup'...'I'm gonna start using that' (and he is pretty good, nevermind he was dead on 16, it happens). Nuketown in turquoise house after buying front door. I buy the door, buy the b23r, buy back door, pool zombies in backyard of turquoise house... Best wallgun in zombies... (This statement is called opinion, while quite arguably valid, it is jut my opinion, don't get bent if you love the crappy m16 or actually buy the start room garbage).
  22. Just practice. I played a late game (well, a few since i kept dying trying to shave off everything not jetgun relavant) all I did was practice the jg maneuver. It isn't hard nor easy, just odd.

    Max bank amount?

Besides that glitch, mine too. I played offline local and it emptied my bank account for unknown reasons. I guess because I checked to see if it worked offline (it doesn't, even with my online acct). Once in a while I take out funds, but usually it is just easy enough to make points. If I take out 10k, I put it back shortly after.
  24. Ah... The rapist robots... Flesh Gordon, you so silly...
  25. Bo is fd up. They track kills and/or score over rounds. Bo just sucks in so many ways...
