  1. An easter egg that might just as well be done on solo (even though this was one was a real pain to do solo) and cheaper doors when playing solo.
  2. To be fair there were some quotes in the TranZit sound files that pointed to Richtofen having killed off the rest of the O4 back at moon... What I've been hoping for ever since Richtofen got in that MPD was an internal fight between Richtofen, the rational doctor who started working for Group 935 to help people, and his evil side, AKA 'the voices', which are probably Vril souls or something. I've always liked Richtofen's schizophrenia and the fact that everything he did was predestined as the voices told him what to do whenever something needed to be done. Just my two cents. I feel like this is a trump card they never even played anymore post BO1. Though I had this theory that the 'static' (I really can't find a better word for it) Samuel would here back in Die Rise were the voices in Richtofen's head going via Richtofen to Samuel in a sort of voice-ception.
  3. I really don't see any correlation between day and Samuel... Could you please clarify? Perhaps give some sources or something?
  4. Yeah, every piece of information can be valuable, but of course it's best if it's supported with videographical evidence
  5. True. I'll give it a try sometime. I've always seen the RotA as a priority because it takes the longest of time to complete and you can still do other stuff while you're at it, but it often happens that I'm conflicted between killing those last zombies to get the box to close or to grab some staff parts, risking a robot will stomp upon my almost fully filled box. It does seem easier your way
  6. I usually go for the bro fists first anyways, because you need them anyway later on, and I also don't know if I can afford to let all of those points just... go... Then again, most of my work often proves futile as another robot stomps upon my ritual of the ancients boxes
  7. Origins EE solo would be easy if the last zombie (though undamaged) would stop 'bleeding out' at random occasions. Hard to get stuff done early then...
  8. Possibly. Location-wise I'd think of Nacht Der Untoten when it comes to 'not feeding the zombies' There's certainly more significance to it. I mean, NDU is in Germany, yet it appears in the USA in Green Run. Why? Okay, I get that Treyarch might've wanted to give us a little nudge, like hey, guess what we brought back, but somehow it seems more likely that Richtofen has something to do with NDU's presence, thus it might have something to do with the EE's continuation. Commitment. Is that what you meant, Jimmy? Stay committed, not only to Richtofen/Maxis, but perhaps to the entire zombie franchise, by looking back into where it all began?
  9. That would require all players to be down at the same time though, which would end the game... There's been so many occasions on which I thought I'd found a possible next step throughout all of BO2. First when Die Rise got the update and got a switch. I thought maybe importing an SVU would do something significant, because Maxis had told us 'to hold on to this gun'. Then the RGmII became available in every map, and with its ability to shoot through walls I thought it was clear it would somehow be able to set the EE's continuation in motion, but so far we haven't found anything. The nav card was my last resort then. Or after pushing the button in Buried, I thought maybe this will unlock something new. But still nothing. But yes, I agree, TranZit has so many elements that aren't really used during the EE which bugs me a lot, because Treyarch always makes sure new elements are incorporated in the Easter Egg progress. I just wish for one more hint from the producers, but the fact they haven't given one yet after all this time makes me think we've actually found all there is... I'll keep searching though
  10. Also going back to 'the alternate way out instead of dying'. Die Rise does something similar actually. Russman dies. The other three characters too. Richtofen revived them. I'm thinking along those lines for TranZit too. Either way, there's not really an ending to TranZit. They just teleported to Die Rise, but naturally something must've happened after ToB, right? After Die Rise they just left the building and travelled for weeks/months/idk until they got to the rift, but the transition from Green Run to Die Rise doesn't seem quite natural.
  11. Hmmm... When talking about being killed I automatically think of the Tombstone perk. To be fair, it was a new addition to TranZit, probably meant to avoid having to navigate throughout the whole map upon going down/dying but it might as well have some utility towards a potential easter egg. Heck, maybe that's even what Jimmy meant with wait the appropriate amount of time: Until the patch that unlocked the persistent tombstone effect. I know I'm thinking waaaaay out of the box now, but we don't have many possibilities left... But then what would Jimmy have meant with 'points, or whatever you call them', if he isn't referring to DLC... I think I'll look into it some more.
  12. Context: someone asked for a riddle, hoping it would help us to solve the EE Date: 14 January 2014 Source:
  13. I'm still stuck on this riddle by Jimmy Zielinski: "it may be points, or whatever you call them. Wait the appropriate amount of time, then continue to work." What does it mean exactly? This is probably the biggest Jimmy's given us but I just can't figure it out, even after all these months. I had been playing with the idea that the RGmII might be necessary for the EE, but I haven't found anything, so I dismissed the idea..
  14. Well if all else fails they can still assume Richtofen's ending to be canon and work from there I guess... They haven't really played out there 'voices' card so far, those could prove to be an enemy way worse than Maxis
  15. I would love more game-over cutscenes, that is, if they make sure they can't be hacked and released before the actual completion of the Egg (Origins)
  16. The thing I really like most about your theory is how it actually explains why Richtofen, Maxis and Samantha speak English. I know this is technically for gameplay purposes but your theory also involves the story. As they are American, they speak English and the it makes sense that they developed German accents along the way. This theory supports why they don't simply speak German. Also, I love the idea of Samantha and Maxis living in Nuketown
  17. I'm not sure whether this has been done before, but I'd be suprised if it has, because my idea is not very easy to do... So basically I'm wondering if anything significant would happen if we were to turn of ALL 8 teleporter lanterns at the same time. At first 4 players were used to do for, but then we discovered that it was also possible to try this with 2 players. Why not try to turn all of them of? Have everyone teleport while deactivating a teleporter and immediately throw another EMP when the teleportation sequence is over. The reason why I think this hasn't been done before is because there appears to be no need for it and it's also highly unlikely that everyone teleports to a teleporter that hasn't been shut down yet. I realize that this is a far-fetched idea but we're running out of options actually...
  18. As I recall, Treyarch described as someone who 'would grow to be the hero'. I'm sorry, but Marlton didn't do anything significant yet. Therefore his story cannot be over. I really hope the N4 return in the next installment of CoD zombies. Though I also kind of fear the story line has come to an end, because either Maxis is gone forever, or he is unstoppable. Either way seems permanent
  19. Tranzit is great until the moment you realize there really isn't more to it than meets the eye. Or maybe there is but I've long given up on ever finding the answers. Such as the sign that said something like Day x/2 me. I was psyched. An obvious clue for the community to explore. But I'm not sure there is an answer anymore... Also, they should've made it possible for players to manipulate the transportation system. Normally I'm a team player, but on TranZit I go: 'dude, you better stay the f- away from me, you're going to get in my way, just run somewhere else, map is large enough. And then I can't go and revive them when they're down. Manipulatable transportation would've helped so much. I didn't care for the wonder weapon at all. I'm not really into high rounds. I'd rather do story and side quests. Wonder Weapons only lead to abuse (Petrifier much). So overall I was really disappointed in the easter egg. TranZit as a huge map, with huge potential, many possible secrets just totally said f- it, it's over. Pack-a-punching system: really? Moon could be a pain to pack-a-punch but this, seriously? Made me cry. Finally, the lava. Who thought it would've been a good idea to put lava all over the place and then include a Don't Fire Until You See achievement. I guess some men just want to watch the world burn #Punpunpunpunpunpunpunpunpunpunpunpunpun Quoting every zombie player ever: "You should've included PhD Flopper"
  20. My proudest moment when was Buried was released and my friends and I played it. We're all average zombie players so that was alright. But as Richtofen is generous with quotes in this side quest, I immediately wanted to solve it and I led my team to completion of step after step after step, until I really had no idea what to do anymore. I asked one of my non-ingame friends to search for the next step online, because I'd been looking for clues in the map for like an hour already, but no mattter how hard he searched, he couldn't find anything past our point. Richtofen side of course... But we were quite ahead of the community so I was feeling hella proud then. We were just planning to start the time bomb step (and do it correctly, too, we somehow figured out the right way, but didn't know that back then) when my friend had to go offline. Bummer but still my proudest moment. In Origins I was pretty good as well as to discovering EE steps, but the map is so glitchy. I've fallen under it a ton of times resulting in instant death. My teammates get wrecked by the Panzer and I just cry. To this day I still haven't completed the egg because everyone is basically done with Origins. It's still the last achievement I haven't obtained from the black ops/black ops 2 series... #SadStori
  21. Ah, I was thinking about the steam pipes for wind too, but if that isn't the case... Well there's always the fallen robot. I've always thought there was more to him. How about we go find out?
  22. Wow. This is excellent. Can I just add one minor tip? It doesn't add much, but it can be helpful to, instead of taking the zombie to jug, have someone take it to the crazy place, where it cannot be harmed in any way, while the players are free to roam every part of the map. Whereas in your suggestion, they would have to avoid jug in order to make sure the zombie doesn't get killed by a staff... I know, this tip isn't worth too much, but I don't know, maybe someone will find this helpful
  23. Still, Origins probably didn't really happen. Too many things don't quite fit, for example the mexican test subject. With the O4 already formed in 1918, why would Richtofen capture a Mexican?
  24. Yes, I was using the fire staff actually... I simply wasn't expecting that many panzers, so I died But I think the ice staff would be better actually. I mean, the fire staff made it almost impossible to hit the enemies, while keeping a fair distance. The ice staff might not be as lethal, but it sure is more accurate
  25. When completing the Origins easter egg, Samantha says the O4 were rewarded beyond their imagination or something, and that they would be safe forever, because Samantha would protect them. I'm sorry, but is having them fight against zombies in various other maps a way of protection? I don't think so. Therefore I don't think the entire story was imaginary. Origins was probably, most likely I'd say. Also, can someone please explain me why Origins was the beginning but also the end? When I first heard that would be the concept I immediately thought of time travel paradoxes, but this 'ending' actually doesn't end anything, does it?
