FYI ~ Kill Screens Wiki A kill screen is a stage or level in a video game (often an arcade game) that stops the player's progress due to a software bug. Kill screens can result in unpredictable gameplay and bizarre glitches. Games known to have a kill screen include Pac Man and Donkey Kong. Pac-Man has a kill screen on level 256 based on an integer overflow. Ars Technica calls this "one of the most well known accidental endings in gaming". A screenshot of level 256, otherwise known as the "Split-Screen Level", in Pac-Man. Due to a bug in a drawing routine, the game — which reads the "number of fruit to draw" value as 0 because 256 cannot fit in 8 bits — attempts to draw 256 fruit, which fails and results in VRAM being overwritten with garbage tile references.
  4. That's how I started the Zombies Library. I started making a thread with all of the Secret Songs, then included the Loading Screen Music, then the Loading Screen Comic Book Pages. Then I thought, I'm going to write a thread with everything I have read & collected over the years. Talk about a tedious task, especially having to reformat everything! But we do it for ourselves anyway CoDz.
  5. I do like the inclusion of the Origins Chest Objectives. I thought those rewards were good for the short amount of time needed. Though I like having Objectives, they just take so freaking long to play a game. Classic Zombies was always about setting yourself up from the amount of zombies per round, building points, then spending your points on Perks & Weapons.. Though you don't have to complete the objectives, if you want the best weapons i.e. Staffs, you have to spend so much time getting them & upgrading them. I don't have alot of time to play, so a fast game is a good game for me. So the inclusion I really like, is also a hindrance. They just need to find the right balance. Nice Topic too BS.

  8. I don't mind that there is a Extinction Team Mate finder, though it shouldn't be a sub forum. It should just be a stickied topic within the Extinction forum. What I don't like is that Ghosts is above Black Ops II on the index page, it should be a sub forum of the Infinity Ward forum just like MW2 & MW3. But saying that, will people create topics for Extinction within the Team mate finder forums? I do hope that we get a good restructure of the entire forum soon.

  10. I can be a second source of confirmation for some of these. zombie_vending_ammo_c Anygun Chalk. I think this was included for Map Pack 2 - Shi No Numa. Kind of resembles what was introduced in Buried. anygun_chalk_c There are also the original recorded quotes from Der Riese, (I assume) before the voice actors were recorded. Videos by the CoDz Legend - CJDOG I have never studied the the Black Ops & Black Ops 2 quotes to know what was included & what was cut. The Call of the Dead Computer Sound files are interesting, the first time I heard those I was like WTF? You also posted a infinite symbol texture, is that not part of the Easter Egg in Buried? The Quick Revive emblem has appeared in Black Ops too I think, there are these "Specialty" perk icons in Black Ops. You do have to be careful when looking at game files, as misinterpretation is easy.   15. Hello CoDz enthusiasts. From a technical point of view, is it possible to recover the original Asylum, Research & Training Facilities from the vBulletin site? If this were possible, a small restructure of the forum would be required, but that can come later. I would like to know if this recovery is possible? I'm sure it is & I would like staff to take a serious consideration at making this happen. These were the heart & soul of the former CoDz, unfortunately, these forums were lost when the site was going to go in a new direction. vBulletin did not happen & these threads remain in the Æther being swallowed by autobot spam. Thankfully these threads are still readable, but there would be many that have never seen them. The links below are to each forums discussion page. They start from oldest to newest & after a few pages of genuine threads, the spambot threads kick in. Beware, please do not transfer every thread.   16. Cool post/concept Ris, I like your inclusion of the PP System, that would be of great benefit to the mode. As it is, it is a very bland mode. For me, it is only fun when playing with friends & with the lack of maps, it has no replayability at all. But, I haven't really spent much time with Turned, unlike you, who enjoys & has mastered this game. Having a "Custom Loadout" coupled with more strategic maps would be great for turned. It's unfortunate that they didn't include the other Green Run survival maps too. Lack of maps, I think, is the biggest killer for this mode. If it does return, hopefully some of these will be incorporated.
  17. Great stuff Boom! I hadn't included any strategy or general gameplay elements like this in the library. This is something that I should definitely include or reference. There is probably a lot of info you could include once the ideas start flowing. I would like to include this if that's ok with you at a later date.   21. Argh, so I'm not the only one who gets the server timeout because of massive posts? I can't even use the "more options" button because it times out. I thought it was just my sh*t Australian connection, you know how we have to send the kangaroo down to the post office with our message. Thanks for re-editing guys.
  22. Great effort with the mobile skin & redirection. CoDz now opens in 'Full Site View' (mobile theme) every time I open safari. No tapatalk for me. So there are three different versions of CoDz on mobile devices. - Tapatalk - Full Site Mobile Theme - Full Site Here are some other small issues I have noticed. When you are using the 'Full Site mobile Theme', and are at the bottom if the homepage, the 'TOP' button is covered by the "Click here to change themes (which takes you to the normal PC Full Site View. (See below) Not that I use Tapatalk, but when you're at the bottom of a thread, there is no "TOP" button. You have to scroll all the way up to get out if the thread. Is there anyway of adding a 'TOP' button? (See below)
