  1. ^^^^ schwing indeed garth. This was mentioned on the DAYS REMAINING thread so you may want to get rid of it. You make an interesting point about Santa Monica so just repost it there and close this down if you can.
  2. PULSE CANNON this weapon has a 4 round magazine and 16 reserve. It is like a china lake in appearance but it is electric blue and yellow. Firing it causes a "grenade" to fly out with the same velocity as a noob tube. Upon striking the ground it creates a round horizontal blast that shoots out like a massive electrical pulse. It sends zombies in the radius flying like a thundergun. You reload it like a china lake one shot at a time but slightly more slowly. You pump it between shots also. There is NO minimum distance and the shot activates instantly upon impact with zombie or obstacle. If it hits a wall the pulse still comes out horizontally at the same elevation it was when it struck. If you are horrible enough to hit the ceiling, you don't deserve to know what happens. You don't even deserve to live. I'm joking. The pulse has a slightly larger radius than PHD FLOPPER explosion. It has infinite damage! However, only 2-3 consecutive shots at your feet can kill you. Be careful! Upgraded it becomes the PULSE CANNON M4X P0W-3R. It gets reduced self inflicted damage, a massive pulse radius, decreased effect of gravity on the grenade, and more ammo. It now had a 6 round magazine and 30 in reserve. It's blue and yellow color scheme becomes darker blue and glowing golden yellow. It can now fire single fire rather than pump action. Zees is... ZE POWAAH!!!!!!!!
  3. SHHYYYYEEEAAAASASSHABLOOOOYYEEEEEEHHHAAAAA!!!! Huff, puff, lemme catch my breath. Where is some stamin up when you need it!? Anyway, reveal wise what I would love to see is this: a video of someone walking through the studios with all of their developers at computers working. We could get a glimpse of everything from their screens and have to decipher it for ourselves. Back when I was a lurker and I saw images that were released and I saw you all analyzing them Is about when I fell in love with the site and decided to join. That's why analyzing images will always be my face form of speculation. I wouldn't say no to a WaW style reveal either though... ;)
  4. Hey CLAYMORE and JOLTEON, an official treyarch statement said "while multiplayer is moving to the future, don't worry. You'll still be slaying zombies in the 80's" this was followed buy a blue quote, suggesting towards Nikolai. "cyborg zombie's? That's just STUPID!" I don't remember what article I saw that in. Despite the fact that I'm pumped for cyborgs which are continually hinted at, in the 80s Sam would be in her twenties. That looks like the age of the poster girl I guess. Another thing to note is that even though there is endless argument against it, maybe the poster girl IS Sam but with richtofen inside her? I don't believe that but it's just food for thought.
  5. In MP I like colorful maps like nuketown, firing range, that sort of lively feel. The opposite holds true for zombies. Verruckt and der reise were freaky because of the whole "you are in a nazi facility covered in blood where the most unimaginably excruciating operations were performed on innocent people" feeling you get. What's worse is the screaming on verruckt. I didn't like the atmosphere on shangri-la because, well, daytime? That's not scary, intimidating, or menacing at all! The tunnels are are cool but the above ground just looks so innocent and dumb(y'know, apart from the zombies).
  6. You have to put text after the =, and between the first ]. Like a date for example.
  7. I don't want a nerf. It really won't make much of a difference either way. I was just bringing it to the table. By the way, I know that SOME score streaks contribute to others. According to Ali-a, syndicate, and mrdalekjd. I don't know about all killstreaks, but uavs do, he'll storm missiles do, guardians do, et cetera.
  8. I like the idea of 20%. I almost always use hard line in BO, mostly because I love rerollling care packages but since there are no pro perks I might not use it as much. Actually who am I kidding, yeah I will I have one big question though. What about bonus score that you receive from having a uav active? Do you get more points? I think that would be bad, because I have heard from mrdalekjd that getting a uav at gamescom got him all the way up to dragonfire just from bonus points. He didn't get any points that contributed to the streak apart from the uav bonus points. Damn! If you ended up getting 30 rather that 25 as a bonus you could get a freaking swarm as a result of two uavs. Screw that! 30 points per kill X about 30 kills in your team over the course of the 2 uavs' duration, plus your few kills, equals over 1000 points towards a streak Plus what about ground war? Over the course of one uav you would get over 20 kills on your team. That would allow you to just get 2 uavs immediately then hide in the far edges of the map while your team earns you killstreak after killstreak. I mean, if it takes six kills to get a lodestar and a swarm, there is no point in getting any more kills all game! That should not be allowed! Is there any word on that specific detail anyone?
  9. Alright, I don't think the original four would be in nuketown zombie's, nor would any characters from single player. I feel the campaign is going to take the mw3 route and kill off a lot of them. However, if any nuclear device was tested in America, chances are it is in new Mexico. Guess what else is in new Mexico? Area 51! The crew could just have freaking walked to the nearest town from A51, only to make the same mistake as Indiana jones if you know what I mean. I still think it will be non-canonical to the main story like five, despite the connection. Btw I heard that part of the inspiration for nuketown was Indiana jones 4. Aaawwww yyeeeaaaahhh!! What's that? You got a nuke in call of duty? I survived a nuke by hiding in a refrigerator bitch! -Indiana jones
  10. I don't even fucking know how to respond to that. I... I just don't even know.
  11. I remember getting dragged out of school by my parents on 9/11. Now that I understand what happened its really sad. I wouldn't mind something tomorrow but I don't think they'd do that. It was a horrible day in our history. We've generally healed from it but it will always leave a scar. I recall videos of scores of people jumping from windows to avoid getting burnt to death. I heard they a priest was prayingbover a dead fireman who asphyxiated from smoke. The priest was crushed to death by a falling jumper. I don't want anything tomorrow just for that reason-don't take away from the day itself. I agree it is pumped up but I doubt Nintendo of Japan would release a game on the anniversary of the Hiroshima/Nagasaki bombings. By the way tomorrow is Patriotism day. I'm not sure whether this is specific to the states, but feel free to show your pride for your European country here as well tomorrow. "what's that? You got a 360 no-scope across the map? Well I hard scoped Osama bin laden in the face bitches!" -navy seal
  12. Funny that you should say this. I was thinking this exactly. Also syndicate said that one of the treyarch dudes said something that suggests this Is true. If I find the vid I'll post it.
  13. Well I think this should be like a wager match or party game or whatever. My reasoning for the undisputed Victor is that when I play wager matches I am always in the money pretty much. I can't stand when other random players or me tie with someone because it splits the money up poorly. If it was a tie it would be like the nightlock incident if you know what I mean. I want there to be ONE winner and one winner only: doctor Frederick Steiner! Wait what? Anyway... Yeah, maybe there is an XP reward based on in which order the players were eliminated, and how many kills they scored. That way getting kills AND surviving are equally important objectives.
  14. RANT It seems to me most of the people who play the games and can still find things to complain about are the noobtastic mystery box cultists. They play the game, *suck* at it, and cry because they want level 50 prestige 15 handed to them on a silver platter. That way they don't need strategy or skill to "win." that explains how noob tubing got its name. They can't grasp the concept of balance being necessary to avoid allowing things become OP. ERMAGHERD THIS GUN HAS A BILLION DAMAGE BUT THE RECOIL IS SO BAD, I KILLZORZ U TREYARCH! ERMAGHERD THIS SHOTGUN IS A ONE HIT KILL BUT HAS SLIGHTLY RESTRICTED RANGE IVER OTHERS IN ITS CLASS! DAMNIT THIS TGUNDERGUN ONLY HAS A MAXIMUM KILKING POTENTIAL OF OVER TWO HUNDRED! IM NEVER PLAYING COD AGAIN!That makes me sick! The worst part? They return for every single title. Bitch please, go cry to your master the mystery box. Down with the mystery box; wall gun anarchy for life! RANT
  15. ^^^ I see what you mean. However, couldn't they have chosen like "tunnel alpha" and "tunnel omega"? Six and eleven seem a little too random. Imean you still might be right but well how about the excavators? Pi, Epsilon, and I don't remember the other one. Where are alpha, beta, gamma, etc. they could have simply chosen random numbers for the tunnels but I still think the implication is that we can't access the rest of the station but it is actually massive. Story wise maybe richtofen could access the rest of the place if he wanted, but didn't need to because the rest of the station is like the area they were in, times four. Plus all he needed was right there anyway, near the MPD. Also why would 5 meteors Be in a circle? That is more of a man made characteristic than something that happens randomly in nature. Story wise there has to be 115 on the moon because of the zombie's. Maybe the der reise lights are actually meteors, and since der reise takes place decades ago we can't see the station yet because it wasn't built. They built it around the meteors so that they could use it for experiments. This makes sense, IF they are actually meteors. Since we don't know officially we can't say for sure. Either way the presence of 115 on the moon suggests that zombies exist there (which has obviously been proven) so it fits in to my theory.
  16. ^^^ yeah! I actually always thought we were going to go to Paris. A map including the city, Eiffel tower, and maybe Parisian catacombs would be awesome.
  17. EJx Gravity gun This is partially inspired by the Half-Life series. The weapon has creepy metal spindly prongs coming out of the front like a vr-11. The rest is metallic and black and has a glowing blue white core. The fun is sort of like a mix between a vr-11 and a stakeout in build. It has a 2 round magazine and 12 reserve. Firing it makes a huge blue/white blast shoot out. The blast curves upward in a gradual arc, until it is going straight up. Any zombie hit Is pulled up along with it. The blast is massive, allowing you to send an entire train sky high. After a certain amount of time the effect wears off, leaving the zombies to come crashing back down. the blast itself disappears, making the zombies appear to be flying around on their own. Shooting it inside will cause the blast-and the zombie's contained in it- to bounce off of the roof down to the floor, then back, then back again, and again, and again until they are properly flogged to death. If some zombie's escape the blast, the bouncing zombies can still knock them around. They will stop bouncing around after the same amount of time it takes for them to fall when outside. By the way, some objects that can usually be blown around by explosions (boxes, cans, traffic cones) will also be lifted up. If they hit zombies while flying around they also damage them. This allows you to hurt zombies who were missed by the blast with the debris. Upgraded it becomes the EJx N3-WT0N. The effect of the blast now lasts 1.5 times as long, and it extends forward slightly further before arcing upwards now. It gets a 4 shot magazine and has twenty four in reserve now. While being thrown around by gravity in this form, the zombie's and debris thrash around violently, creating more mayhem and increasing the chance that zombie who were missed by the blast will get knocked around.
  18. Wasn't the 8 bit beauty of annihilation on moon? I think these are just random, possibly slightly altered sound files thrown together. Not only does it reveal nothing, but serves literally no purpose whatsoever. You're right, I DID cry.
  19. I mean, I said that I know for a fact that it is on the cod wiki. I then say that its not necessarily a reliable source. I neither supported nor refuted the possibility of a zombie campaign. How does that make me wrong? I was just putting it out there since it is possibly real and you guys could discuss. The fact that it was on wiki doesn't make it entirely impossible. It certainly doesn't confirm anything either. Based on the reliability of wiki, regardless of whether there will or will not be a campaign, the information shouldn't be taken too seriously. However it is still not completely disproven as of now. I mean, we still know very little about zombies. We don't know who the characters will be, where the map is, or any new features of the map apart from a small glimpse of a street and a diner. If they announced a campaign it would make fanboys and girls freak out. That kind of juicy news would wait until a full on reveal or very near to release. So, Tankeo, as of now you have not quite won yet!
  20. This is based on the book series THE HUNGER GAMES. Here is a recap of the book: All of this happens prior to the events of the books so it is no spoiler. After a nuclear war the world is destroyed but a new country called panem emerges from the rubble and occupies the now deserted north America. There is a Capitol and 13 districts. The districts rebel, so the Capitol annihilate district 13 to make an example of them. Then to punish the districts, every year after that they hold the hunger games. A boy and a girl ages 12-17 are taken from each district. They are put in an arena like I described and must fight to the death. The 24 "tributes" rise up from underground plates into the arena. The arena can be any type of terrain. Weapons are scattered across the ground, along with food, supplies, equipment, and that sort of thing. Weapons are more abundant closer to the center of the ring of tributes. at the very center is a golden cornucopia filled to the brim with all of the best weapons. At the beginning most tributes rush in here and try to grab a good weapon and run away, but mostly they die. Then like half are left after the first day. It can last weeks. It is called the hunger games for a reason. The elements are as much of a danger as enemy tributes. There are game makers who oversee the game, taunting the tributes. They can make trees fall near then, spawn in vicious wild animals, set the arena on fire, and force tributes towards each other in many clever ways. The last alive is crowned the ultimate tribute. In my version, ions of the only major differences is the 3 lives each. Here is an official list of changes to the OP based on feedback. 1. No cornucopia. Weapons are completely randomly placed. 2. Gamemaker can be present in private matches only. 3. No grenade launchers! The likelihood of finding a flak jacket in the arena is minuscule. A grenade launcher would therefore decimate the competition. Whoever found it would be a god in the arena. 4. You can find some specialty attachments by themselves. Suppressors and sights, that sort of thing. That's all I have to say.... About that...... EDIT: in case it was unclear, it is basically a free for all where everyone has 3 lives. You start with only a knife and must scavenge for weapons, all while surviving the other enemies' attacks. The last alive wins. If the last 2 die from the same blast or bullet or whatever, they get an extra life each. There can be only one victor.
  21. ^^^ I agree but not a lot of other people do. The reason I said that was because about a month ago I posted a thread for a wonder weapon idea and received a lot of hate about it. I have stuck to not using so called dupe threads unless I think the idea is good enough to stand alone. Not that I'm saying this idea isn't, but I generally stick to mass discussion threads now, rather than a thread devoted to one stand alone idea.
  22. I posted this idea before somewhere else but I might Ale my own thread for it. What if nuketown zombies is its own 4z4 mode? Two teams survive for a set amount of time. This time can be 10, 20, 30, or 60 minutes and there are different lobbies for each. The object of the game is to earn the most points as a team before the time limit is reached. This would be a VERY strategic and thought based mode. You would have to decide "is it worth buying this gun? I could spend a thousand points now and risk not being able to get the points back! What about pack a punch? It's 5000, so I could save up a lot and spend them all at once, but risk not getting enough points back to make up for the cost." I for one would like this because he opposing team would most certainly all buy juggernog. I prefer the Bowie knife which is actually advantageous. Sure it costs five hundred more, but it protects you as well as juggernog if you know how to use it properly. Plus, at 130 points a kill for several rounds, it pays for itself ten fold! After round 9 I would buy juggernog and still be leaving the other side in the dust point wise. Edit: the reason it would be on nuketown is because the game literally ends with a bang when the timer runs out... Tee hee hee!
  23. Hello! Welcome to codz! You don't know this because you joined today, but making your own thread for a wonderweapon idea is generally frowned upon. The "wunder-ful" wonderweapon discussion thread is where this ought to go. go ahead and post it there. You may also want to add details. What is its magazine size? What does it look like? That sort of thing. You don't necessarily need to but it helps give the idea popularity. As for the idea itself, I love it. A gun that stuns zombies would sort of be like a vr-11 because it distracts them. I don't like that it makes crawlers when upgraded, because you could easily run through a crowd of stunned zombies to safety, but a mine field of crawlers is difficult to navigate. That would just be maddening the unhelpful, which would be even MORE than less than unhelpful. It should just stun them longer AND damage them when upgraded. The names are very clever by the way! P.S. check out my ideas on page four of the wonder waffle thread, I have like ten!
  24. Oh god I didn't even notice the date... Looks like it was that rat "stop mocking me0"
  25. Here, take this. **Hands snickers bar** You're completely out of your mind batshit crazy when you're hungry. IMPOSSIBRU!!
