  1. Personally I think this is a new addition meant for either Turned or Die Rise that is showing up bugged after completing the Maxis EE for some reason. Could be a zombie power up in turned? Could be something related to the Die Rise EE? Could signify (now I'm stretching into my fantasies ) the return of the VR-11 or something similar. Yes, I said it. The icon could tell you how long you have insta-kill after being shot with the amazing Lazarus or a similar co-op type weapon. Of course I could be completely off base here but I have no idea what the point of an extra insta-kill icon is? You can't kill the zombies faster than instantly. Also it doesn't last very long. Testing this is going to suck, do maxis (Never!!!), get instakills, try everything under the sun while red is active...I think it's a bug until I see otherwise. So yes, it heralds the return of one of the best weapons of all time. Let us all bow before its eternal glory :lol:
  2. Personally I think I'm going to call this map Die Rise. Great Leap Forward doesn't sound like a map or a location and is annoying to say. I guess you could call it GLF. I don't know anymore!!!! Oh wait, it doesn't matter. It's a trivial point now. Like arguing the pronunciation of Tomato, no good will come of it, and everyone knows what you are saying regardless! The whole point of calling Green Run the map was in anticipation of there being more TranZit maps released. Since this isn't happening, I say call it whatever you want! :D

I do agree that the three confirmed upgrades from Green Run will most likely make a return; they may or may not actually carry directly over. ie if you have fast revive now, you may or may not have it on Die Rise to start. However, I don't think that 0 fall damage will be added. The reason for this is because that would take away the danger element of the map. I think this is reason why there was no flopper/reduced splash damage upgrade in Green Run. It would take away from the natural dangers of the map being exploding zombies and lava. That being said I again expect no actual flopper perk machine on this map as it would also cause 0 fall damage. I am hopeful that treyarch will push the idea of persistent upgrades further as they appear to pushing the idea of buildables. So I'm really expecting some new ones to be added. We have seen this game evolve so much over it's life span and it will continue to evolve, which is part of what makes these DLCs and new additions so exciting!
  5. I assume by "IEM grenades" you mean EMP grenades; which will stop the bus whenever you throw them near or on the bus. You can re-start the bus by placing a turbine down or waiting 45-60 seconds or so and the bus will start back up. I have no clue what you're saying about the nav card though. You will need proof if you want anyone to believe you. Troll move #107: While your team is riding the bus mid-round on a sufficiently high round, ride on top, and while the bus is crossing a lava pit, throw an emp down the hatch and jump off.
  6. You can do the two player Richtofen strategy with 3 people or 4. When I completed the EE we had 3 people and first two to get emps (me and my friend) finished it right after. Table not built. You can do the throwing animation while teleporting and the emp will come out directly after landing. But the timing isn't really that tricky. I don't know the answers to your other inquires.

Also, since it seems like the map's natural hazard is going to be the verticality aspects (and not lava/exploding zombies), I think a short lasting nerfed version of flopper, where you get reduced splash damage and lose it if you do not kill with an explosive weapon for x zombies, could be quite balanced if done right. I hope treyarch continues on the path of less perk machines, more abilities gained through gameplay. What do you guys think? Will there be new upgrades available to obtain on Die Rise? What are some good ideas you have for upgrades that could be added? -ER UPDATE: 1st new persistent upgrade has been found; Red Insta-kill! There are more, I know it!
  8. Iron sights are quite nice. I've found if you are shooting down range and zombies aren't running directly at you, you need to lead them by quite a bit to be accurate.
  9. The reason the lamps are flickering is because your doing the Richtofen ToB! When he tried burning the reader he actually heated the obelisk.
  10. This would actually be a decent theory if it was readable. You're going to scare people away when they see a hard to read block of text, use paragraphs! For anyone wanting a tl;dr, basically he is saying the mechanics for playing as a zombie are being introduced because at some point the EE will require to you do things as a zombie.
  11. Just a safe guard put on the leaderboards to protect against hackers I believe. And yes, the leaderboards are not an accurate determination of the WR, video proof is used to determine this, personally I use this site: http://zombierecords.net/ They have kino as: 193 solo and 104 co-op
  12. I think it is quite safe to assume that the EE will continue the format from Green Run (Richtofen vs Maxis). We won't know for sure until Tues. but I'd be surprised if it strayed too far from this. I'm quite curious to see how the EE works with mixed lobbies. Like 1/2 completed Richtofen the other 1/2 Maxis; will the EE even be available? Or 3/4 Richtofen and 1/4 Maxis? What if there are people who never completed ToB at all in the lobby? Just got to wait and see I guess :)

  14. Nope. You can go straight up godmode at will. It only works with walking/running zombies though—crawlers can hit you. A good way to deal with someone in this glitch is to chuck a few nades at him. Wow this is the first I've heard of this. How ridiculous! You would have thought that Treyarch would have patched this by now. :?

  16. Err really? That thing was like, worthless? The Scavanger Too. Although they were both cool to get from the box and to use, I didn't think they were helpful for high rounds. But, if you insist Edward, why not the VR-25? To fit the BO2 Style? Anyway, EJ was right, we're getting on to strictly WW ideas, not were this belongs. Hope this gets back on track to SMM0's topic on hand. Hey now, the VR-11 was probably in the top 3 of WWs all-time imo. Insta-kill whenever you want? Come on that's amazing. More on topic, we'll have to see how easily accessed the perk elevator is. I'm sure they'll continue their streak of making jugg hard to reach mid-round. I hope the PaP does not require all players in the lobby to access. This had to be the most annoying part of Shang and Moon. Basically made Paping non-existent when playing with randoms. There was always at least one guy who had no idea what was going on. That said I am very excited about this map. Can't wait to see what Treyarch has up their sleeves!

  19. General consensus is I believe 70. Although it happens at different times for everyone and there's no set spot where you rank up. That's kill/down too btw, not kill/death.

  22. I do find it a little ironic that OP dislikes that there's not a true WW but then says that the game is too easy. I mean a true WW would make the game even easier. Also if we look back at blops 1, every new map with the exception of Five and Shang were quite easy. Kino, Ascension, COTD, and Moon all were easy maps. Now while the TranZit gamemode has now been broken open for solo by the jet gun strategy, all the maps still represent a challenge especially so on co-op.
  23. Depending on where the hatch is, I'll sometimes buy the bowie knife before knuckles to speed up the set-up process.
