  1. Well on a solo game I will tend to look at how long I lasted until I got that first annoying down (for me it always goes down hill from there). I then look at what happened and why I went wrong. On a Co-op game though I will always look at the amount of kills I got compared to the others and how many revives I got, I do like to make sure no one gets put into spectator mode and I hope for them to do the same although in many of the games I've been in recently we all die . Mind you though I think the first thing I actually look at is the headshot count. I love getting as many headshots as I can and love it when I have the most and I am always trying to get as close headshot to kills as I can (this is why I love the Kar98K!) I don't know why but for me it isn't the rounds that define the player and isn't what I evaluate myself on, it is how I/they react to circumstances like perk buying, reviving tactics, zombie management etc. that makes me evaluate myself critically, why didn't I buy that? Why have you run down there? Sort of thing.
  2. I would absolutely love to have a make a map mode but I don't think it'll be done for zombies in the near future. The amount of space on the disk and time that would be needed it is mad so it definitely won't be done this time around, maybe on the future consoles but not now. Also as zombies is only an 'add on' to the COD franchise it probably won't happen until zombies (if it does) becomes a stand alone game, this way they also may have enough space on the disk (although it could be a downloadable feature!!!! That could work but a lot of time would have to go into making a decent easy to use creation feature using the awkward controllers to make the maps (awkward compared to the computer mice)). Another thing is that if zombies does become a stand alone game away from the COD series I think that Treyarch may actually loose money, it would be hard to tell though so zombies may just stay as an 'add on' (personally don't think of it as an add on but in essence it kinda is) Although you never know what Treyarch have up their sleeve as zombies is becoming bigger we may see it happen but either as a download or as part of zombies on stand alone disk. Mind you I would love that feature and would probably use it a lot but if you look at games like Portal 2 where they have allowed players to create on the PC but not on the other consoles I do think it is a stretch of the imagination for now at least. But WHO KNOWS PS. If I could I would make one like Verruckt but with more "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" moments, lots of walls you can run into and dead ends, like a maze but it never ends
  3. YAY I love nuketown, one of the best maps in my opinion!!! Although I'm going to wait to see if anything else can tempt me to pre-order it, if there are different editions then I'm probably going to get the better one them but this seems good enough to pre-order now.... hmmmmm. Imagine a futuristic Nuketown!!!!! Also Nuketown 2025 is trending worldwide on twitter!!!
  4. Well I have just been searching through twitter as I was bored and I came across this article posted 25mins ago that was made last night, have a look: http://zoknowsgaming.com/2012/06/25/call-of-duty-black-ops-ii-not-feature-branching-single-player-storyline/ This has now REALLY confused me. Basically John Rafacz (Treyarch Director of Communications) said that the strike force missions "Shapes the fictions around the ending" Then goes on to say: “The core single-player experience is one that you and I will share. This is not that kind of experience. It’s an opportunity to introduce an element of non-linearity; action that takes place away from the main storyline. So it breaks up the gameplay but still helps shape that ultimate end.” So isn't that saying that the story has one end, that's it? Does this also mean that outcome of these Strike Missions don't matter? It won't be enough to stop me getting the game (NO WAY) but it'll sure be a disappointment, I was expecting a different experience between people, so is it now just a case of how you get there is different? PS I did search the forum for this so if it's been done sorry!
  5. In many posts I have been saying about how I would like luck and chance to start taking a front row seat in zombies. Perhaps a RANDOM perk machine, maybe you pay 3000 points (or more?) and as the name suggests you will randomly get a perk, anything from Jugg-Mule kick, if you get something that is cheaper than 3000 then you won't get the points back NO REFUND ,if you get something cheaper then it's a BARGAIN this may also be a good way to reduce the amount of machines on the map (I know they're creating a 'world' but there is a lot of machines), they could also add some hidden perks in this machine that you can only get from there, you could also get nothing and waste all of your points. The machine could be put next to the mystery box or somewhere easier to get to than the other perks. Although somehow this machine would need to be appealing to use rather than saving up to buy other perks for the normal price. Thing is would you roll the dice on this or would you rather save up? (This would be good for those, "Hey lets have a crazy RANDOM game of zombies")
  6. I wouldn't mind having zombie challenges to get points but there will need to be something to spend the points on (there are loads of things they could implement) maybe little challenges to get points for the first 30 rounds or just adding more things to spend points on. I would like zombies to have challenges that get you some sort of emblem, so next to your name you have an emblem with something, maybe you've played for a total of 50 hours or you've killed a total of 500000 zombies (again there are loads more I could think off), but each of these show what sort of player you are with other than having people that ride the down train to high rounds (get downed like 2032102300 times with 0 kills but still get to high rounds:D ). This could sure add more things for us to strive for rather than just trying to get to the highest round possible & finding EEs. Cause they will need to make some hidden emblem tasks that we have no idea what to do Great idea CLAYMORE
  7. OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I'm now disappointed  Oh well we should get some soon :)
  8. Not going to lie but I'm actually really excited. Yeah the chances maybe slim or even 50/50 but I look at the glass as half full (not half empty) when it comes to Treyarch and am thinking there will be something today, even if it isn't a trailer I think something is going to happen.
  9. I agree, Zombies is about the survival (sort of), I don't think there is a need for this unless they do something like a 4z4 deathmatch (as others have said 4 vs 4 with zombies!!!) only if it was in a multiplayer game and not for the survival part.
  10. I like all of these apart from Car Pool, it just seems like it would take out the core of it. Even though I love these ideas. I would REALLY want to have a normal 8 player survival, that would be manic, running into each other with literally hordes of zombies!!!. Hopefully they will get the rights mix of competition modes and traditional survival (I know they're keeping normal CO-OP but perhaps more emphasis on survival/luck involved more (opinion)). There is a lot they can do and a lot of creativity to be used. :D
  11. As I've said in other posts I also really think that this game will be one of the best that COD has to offer. Maybe I am a little bit too forward with it thinking it'll be great even though we haven't seen much gameplay but all of the new features are a HUGE step up what IW ever did with MW, if there isn't a campaign then for me it doesn't really matter as I know that Zombies will still be there in its shining glory, I mean there is NOTHING wrong with zombies as it is now. I'm just saying that if there was a campaign then I would welcome it. :D
  12. First off sorry for posting something similar a few minutes ago!!! It seems to be written in a matter of fact sort of way so it actually makes me believe it in a way. As we already know the map is going to be HUGE but does that mean that they could still make a zombie campaign at the same time? If there was a campaign/story I would like it to start of at Verruckt and progress from there maybe telling us the story that has happened then going onto new maps. Lets say you are in Verruckt your goal is to turn the power on, activate the dentist chair etc. and get to a certain round while surviving zombies, after this has been completed you will go on the next area maybe by completing another task or just by it fading out or waiting until you get downed and the next map will do the same etc. This goes on until we get to the moon. From then on you go onto new maps lets call it "the map" once you have done all the objectives you then unlock it in survival mode (traditional Zombies) along with other modes (4v4 & 8 player). Other maps in the campaign that follow "the map" will also have objectives that when complete will unlock them in survival mode, this means that you can't play it before hand meaning you have no idea where you're going and have to adapt quickly giving us the survival aspect. Aslong as there is no cutscenes then I'd be happy.
  13. Thanks!!! [brains] It never occurred to me that this was the codename. I also feel quite silly because I looked at the multiplayer lobby screenshot before posting this.
  14. Here's a screenshot of the file name. COD_BLOPS2_EclipseReveal_NoRating_720p.mp4
  15. I was on PSN store and went to download the Black Ops 2 trailer, as i was downloading it I was looking at the file name and it had "EclipseReveal" in it. I'm not sure if this means anything, it may have nothing to do with zombies but it must be there for a reason, I'll try and get a screenshot of it. Thoughts?
  16. Well that's a great thought, this one map could be the host to MANY different game modes, like in multiplayer you can play TDM, FFA, Domination etc. all on one map this could also have different modes!!! Hehe gears are now turning in my head :!: [brains] Because I'm nice :D
  17. First off that video looks AMAZING!!!! I'm now pumped. A few things I've noticed. Firstly: ^Zombie boss? OR it could just be a statue but that wouldn't be any fun! Secondly: ^The view is great but would this mean that the zombies are going to change? I think Treyarch have been slowly making these maps harder but this map seems too easy, it looks like a big circle waiting for us to kite. I reckon that something is going to happen, this part just SCREAMS train, maybe the AI is smarter or something. *EDIT: One thing I forgot was that look at the name of the second image, unfortunately I'm not good at restoring images but it maybe important! All i can tell is that it begins with a C But WOW that's too tempting. :D
  18. I love the way that at 1.30.55 he makes a point of looking at the options of rappel & snipe, I suppose that these would both have different consequences which is probably the reason why they didn't show the part after it. Also controlling the machines was amazing, I say that this game is going to be one of the best, if not THE best of the franchise. I truly believe that as long as everything else follows suit. :D
  19. Hiya people of CODz!!! Just here today to say that in case you don't know, during E3 the developers of Black Ops 2 are taking time out to answer our questions!!! You can submit your questions to @Callofduty using the hash-tag #BlackOps2 in a tweet. http://community.callofduty.com/communi ... devs-at-e3 So then, are you going to ask questions & if so what are they going to be? (I had no idea where to actually put this so I put it here!!!!) :D
  20. This happened only a few weeks ago and have regretted not recording it. I was on Verruckt with three randoms and we got to about round 15 till all three of them went to go and spam the box in the room where the Jugg is. As I expected all three got downed after about 15 second and left only me in the thompson room kiting three zombies. As soon as they went down a horde of zombies came running towards me from the jug room. Maybe stupidly instead of staying in the thompson room I ran into the zombies that were now coming near the QR room. Walked past them, getting hit about 4 times. Annoyingly one person was in the dentist room, one was near jug and the other was in the hall. I revived the guy near the dentist chair who had the ray gun, he ran out the room just before all the zombies got in. He then started to unload the ray gun making it a little easier to cutback about 10 zombies. I then revived the guy with Jug & then the one in the hallway before anymore zombies got in. When was even better was that I brought QR on the way!! My logic was saying that it was impossible to not get caught or get downed without reviving all three but I actually did it. This was a lot moreluck than skill. I was just lucky not to get caught on anything. It felt so good to cutback the zombies in the dentist room without going down although don't think i could make it happen again, just a shame I didn't think of recording it. I rarely get these EPIC moments in a game.
  21. It never occurred to me that 4v4 could be Zombies V Humans. Although I would like it to be a humans vs humans contest, the race for supplies sound like a great idea. Maybe it's the first to turn the power on will receive all the perks & the box? All the possibilities that can come with this game mode of zombies, up to 8 players at any one time is OUTSTANDING, anything really can happen with this 4v4, 8 everyone for themselves, team objective play. There are tons of ideas I could put down but simply just don't have the time and because Treyarch listen to their community they will do great and get it right!!! Odds are Treyarch are going to exploit this engine to its fullest and make a even better experience.
  22. [brains] Completely agree!!! So what if MP players come and play zombies, is it really that much of a problem/what is the problem may I ask? Just saying most of the forum probably started as MP try-hard, otherwise we wouldn't have gotten into zombies in the first place. We are the people that have taken to it more. It seems like an amazing idea, as Kill_All_Monkeys (love that name) said: Anyway, if it's that much of an issue you don't have to revive them
  23. I've just been reading the recent Playstation Magazine and seen that Black Ops 2 will be having multiple ending. Does this mean that Black Ops 2 will end the Black Ops story... Treyarch can't begin a game with different beginnings based on what you did in BO 2... Could they? So do you think that Black Ops 2 will be the end & that we will get all the answers or do you think that Treyarch has something up their sleeves?
  24. 1) I was crapping myself... I was first introduced to shooters & zombies at a friends house on WaW, it was very very scary at the time, I must've been 14, it was also the first 15 game I played. Only got to round 4 and that was with my friend continuously reviving me (would like to say I've gotten a lot better now). 2) Zombies DS? 3) I brought WaW because a friend recommended it to me, he said that you have to play the campaign to unlock the zombie mode (getting this game was about three months after I was crapping myself), got hooked straight away, completed the campaign and got given zombies. 4) The originals have been great but I just can't see them being kept for too long, these guys have almost been the story mode, when the story mode ends I don't think they'd fit in, if Treyarch are doing different game modes with up to 8 players then I would like to see some new characters.
  25. WOW, nice vid, [brains] The first image is of a space craft with a piece of dialogue saying "Houston We Have A Problem", as many people know back then it was used to report a life-threatening situation. Apollo 13 crew used this quote to report a main B bus undervolt. It can also depend if your refering to the movie Apollo 13 (never seen it but their could be a connection) perhaps the reason we haven't 'gone back' is because of zombies infesting the moon?, that was the real problem? The second picture shows the moon so the rocket (i think) should be the Apollo 13 flight unless your thinking that doctors got to the moon via rocket (maybe the rockets that destroy the earth). I actually have no idea what the third picture. Perhaps there is a chemical (115?) that's been found on the moon, if TACITUS is a future weapons company could they have used this chemical for future warfare? There are quite a lot of ways you could look at it, there are loads more theories I could come up with. Picture 3 could be a hand, fire, a symbol? I'll leave this as it is for now. I'll have a think.
