  1. Way to go, Chris. Glad to see this finally came about; need to do one of these myself. I look forward to working with you in the future, man. Happy 1000th, and let this be an example to all users (and to me), as a great way to combine the community and the zombies into one lighthearted, enlightening post.
  2. So much writing wasted... This is the only correct part. You guys are completely off on this one. Remember that you need to kill them from 20 feet away. And remember the game mechanics. It's not complicated in the descriptions, just reading through the language and the information you have. Alright, I looked again, and I take it back, very good, up until the last part. There's a very optimal option that can prevent him from ever ending the game. I need to be more detailed with this.
  3. Zombies is the perfect example of a great game. Many games have certain traits that make them stand out, but you know that the difficulty of your game is perfect when it is so easily playable that it pleases the casual gamer: get to round 30 using your head, your aim, and repeat for all other maps. But the true beauty of zombies is the complexity with which us strategists like to study the game. There are so many ways to approach situations, as well as the actual behavior of the zombies, to study. This is what balances the game out for all players. You can pick up and play the game, and it's moderately difficult, an adequate challenge until you reach a point when you don't want to play, like all games. Or, you can play the game and study the intricacies of it, finding the most efficient of strategies, difficult and easy, maximizing the game's difficulty as well as its fun factor. There's nothing truly quite like creating a game where you know that when you fail, you can usually find somewhere you went wrong. That is the beauty of this game's difficulty.
  4. My bad. He comes from the power room to you. He goes down in the AK room. You are also in the AK area. Zombies only spawn around your current floor, NOT on top of you. I'm not saying anything else about the direction of zombie spawning. ;)
  5. This man is a paradox. I like it. Anyway, here at CoDz, we got strategy, story, and gameplay covered! Enjoy your stay, and let me know if you need anything at all. Ehj~ CoDz will never die, so long as the men who fight for what is morally right in the face of what is ethically wrong stand true to the tenants of one nation, under Richtofen, with liberty and zombification for all.
  6. Zombie Tournament Next Playdate (thanks, fix and Jay): basically Last Man Standing but with teams of 2. If your teammate bleeds out, he needs to leave. One person, who's the host, can never leave (obviously). In this case, the host must down himself at the beginning of every round (subsequent to him dying off). The team that can clutch the most rounds in a game to 25 wins. This is just an option. Let me know, you guys!
  7. Good posts from everyone; I agree with what everyone has said. Guys, off-topic, but just a little: do you think that the NML Survival Guide is outdated?
  8. This. It is very possible, at least 15 people have attained it in the world. And with members who have World Records in a few things, this is something I have complete faith in. Thanks, Jake.
  9. Believe me, I was watching his livestream a lot, pretty much the whole thing was full map Why did he stop this? I'm interested to find out.
  10. You sure, my friend? By4Z40mtZYo I hate to say I told you so, but... :D
  11. 340 is the most easily attainable for the overachievers around here! Basically, what we are saying is this: we have some of the best players in the world on this site, and to have a goal of 340 is a really realistic yet difficult goal for us. We may be biased, but considering that we've got a whole strategy department dedicated to NML, and considering we're working really hard to improve the quality of the games overall, it's a perfect goal like Dan has pointed out. We are extremely biased though, so we might need to get an Admin's opinion in here (since none of them play NML).
  12. It's not quite a full map loop, Hands. It's an absolutely clutch way of rounding the zombies together, not to say that this isn't. Drac just runs in the spawn using some nice routes and the occasional dodge. I think that Dracs is quicker, 5and5, but this one is safer by far. Drac's requires so much concentration and timing, where as this gets you into the groove quicker.
  13. We're moving them somewhere else; they won't be permanently deleted. So if you pay attention to where you post the most, that's going to change because of the location we're moving them to.
  14. Tom, it is almost the same as 'Here's the situation' except that this one is not under the gun, he is just asking how would you survive ideally. I'm going to release a new challenge tonight! Sorry, things have been not so good lately, but I'm making a comeback.
  15. 340 is adequate I think; it puts those who reach it near the top of the world (top 10 I believe, for the respective consoles). It gives everyone a goal to reach, and it becomes one of the site's biggest honors to receive such a medal for undoubtedly, one of the hardest challenges to date in the world of zombies.
  16. Can I please hear your reasoning behind this? It's a valid feeling, but change is inevitable in this day and age. I'll try to ease some of your concerns. Survivor and Veteran groups are not being removed but rather, being transformed into shiny, new medals for everyone to have that qualifies and chooses to apply for said medals.
  17. This is very easy to follow, and I really like what you've done here with the "don't imitate YouTube" warning. Guys, this is the program I used when No Man's Land first came out. I remember that Chopper was doing his amazing thing, pulling off crazy times with low kills. You do not have to shoot for the crazy times. I took it really slowly and beat our NML Champ here to 250 kills. If that's what you're going for, a nice, solid 250, then take it slow initially, and then begin to pick it up. Not rushing the game gives you more time to make calculated decisions and still lets you hit that 300 kill game with enough practice. Take your time to PAP. Don't rush; don't feel pressured to get a 90 second PAP with 45 kills, just try to get the pistols and take your time. If you're over 3 minutes before you're PAP, you should restart, but anything less than that, then you can take your time and get a nice 200 kill score to build confidence like Chopper's said. Listen to this man. He's been where we've all been and he's risen to the top, the World Record PAP holder. Great work man.
  18. There you go, Jay! Nice work, man. We need to play sometime. And just so you guys know, this is an allusion to Silentcrisis' worst people you've ever played with thread.
  19. Just did your version of this tonight; it's probably the best way to ensure a PAP. Even if you can't make it across that gap to throw the corner grenade, you can easily cut back for another grenade. Each time I used this strategy, or at least began the process of it, I PAP'd with at least 45 kills each time, at least 5500 points. Unfortunately, I got dizzy tonight and nearly threw up. My point: this is awesome, glad all our minds came together for this and you perfected it.
  20. Aren't there lag preventing strategies? He probably never used claymores at the very least and cleaned his PS3 to stop it from gathering dust.
  21. Here at CoDz, we got strategy, story, and teamwork pretty well covered. Good to have you here. Enjoy your stay, and if you have any questions, let me know. Have some brains to start. Welcome to the site! 8-)
  22. We would hit the 10,000 member mark, and then we'd schedule the playdate a week or two after that.
  23. Undead xP suggested we have a playdate for 10,000 members. What do you all think? As the predominant console on the site, we should get as many people as possible for this. ;)
  24. idk...I see Chopper has QR in the thumbnail of his vid. Venom bought Mule Kick. Ben bought QR to show everyone he had used no perks. He then proceeded to down himself each time he bought it.
